Cannot ePrint

Hi,
I have looked through many of the threads on this forum and cannot find the answer as to why I cannot use the eprint functionality of my B 110a all in one printer.
I have set it up, created an account on the hpeprintcenter.com website, added the printer to it and set up the group of allowed emails addresses.
I have tried to email the printers given address from gmail, apple mail, hotmail and outlook express and get the same error (see below). The email server at the receiving end is rejecting the sent to address as it doesn't think it exists.
How do I fix this or how do I get HP to sort this out?

I get the same error back on my blackberry bold a few minutes after I send a photo taken on the phone to my eprint email address. I can however, send to my comcast email, check it in Outlook then forward to the eprint email address.  It's a little frustrating at this point, but I have only had the printer for one day.  I am also noticing some type of error about spam when I get an automatically generated email back from comcast shortly after I send something to the printer's email address. It sounds like this is something others are experienceing. I only hope hp works the kinks out soon, because lots of people are buying the eprinters these days. I've called verizon thinking it was them, but they said it is hp.  I can print from oultlook so something is not entirely wrong but it's not good yet.  My next step was comcast support hoping maybe they were spamming something out, but I think it is more that hp does not have the kinks worked out yet.  When my son comes home for break I will see if he can send something from gmail on his droid.

  • Cannot ePrint from iPhone when using wifi

I have a D110 HP printer.  We have two iPhones.  One works fine for ePrinting when sending e-mail by either wifi or 3G (this phone has yahoo mail account).  The second phone works fine if we send e-mail using 3G, but not when we send it via wifi.  The second phone has an e-mail account through our local roadrunner provider.  By the way, that account does not seem to send outgoing e-mail using the roadrunner smtp server (for any outgoing e-mail -- eprinting and everything else).  It looks like it uses our alternate outgoing server (AT&T).
We have told our printer to accept jobs from any e-mail address, but that does not solve the problem.  The e-mails sent by iPhone #2 are not ejected, but do not show up on our ePrint account.
This is so frustrating.  Any suggestions?

I found the answer to my own problem.
    I just discovered the following:
AT&T “cwmx.com” and “smtp.mymmode.com” outgoing SMTP servers only work through the AT&T wireless network and not over WI-FI.
Who knew?  Not me!  Maybe I'll look elsewhere to see how I can send e-mail messages from my Roadrunner e-mail account from my 3Gs iPhone using Wi-Fi.
I just found a post another site where someone had the same problem.  They described it this way:
My broadband cable company (Insight in Columbus OH) will not allow me to send email (smtp) outside their network. I currently have my iPhone set to use Yahoo for sending but I don't like the advertisement Yahoo puts at the bottom. Does AT&T offer a smtp server to send mail from the iPhone?
EDIT: PS I'm looking for a FREE smtp server........I already pay plenty for broadband service and cell phone service!

  • EPrint does not work after new wifi router on Verizon DSL

I have been using ePrint on my iPod, iPad, and iPhone for a few months without a problem, but recently had to switch to a new wifi router on my Verizon DSL, as my wifi kept turning off and Verizon's solution was an updated wifi router. Since the switch, I cannot ePrint from my mobile devices. I can, after reconfiguration, print from my laptops. The ePrint app still finds the Deskjet 3050a, says "sending to printer", but will not print. The ePrint is turned on. I tried to delete the app and reinstall in hopes that I can start fresh, but it still does not work. I tried to add a new printer, with the email supplied on the ePrint screen on the printer, but nothing.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Honor Student
Is your printer connected to the new router as it sounds like it is still looking for the old one ?  Maybe  just disconnect it and reconnect it again to your new router and then the ePrint APP should pick it up.
    I work for HP.
    Thanks

  • EPrint stopped working for HP LaserJet Pro 1415fnw

We had ePrint set up on our HP 1415fnw and today, the printer is no longer set up under my ePrint login and we cannot ePrint using the email address we had.
    I have:
    1. Reset the printer to factory defaults and set up wireless network printing again. We have set the IP manually and the printer prints just fine wirelessly.
    2. Installed the new firmware for the 1415
    3. Installed updated printer drivers.
    4. Powercycled the wifi-router and the Internet router.
I go to the HP Web Services tab and click "Connect" and I get "connection error. Make sure you are connected to the Internet."
The PC and printer are all connected and working fine on our wireless network. There are no ports blocked that we are aware of via our ISP.
As I said, it worked fine up until a while ago.
    I am open to suggestions...

  • Officejet 4500 Email address

    Hi,
I understand that I cannot eprint from this printer but I want to just print wirelessly to the iPad eprint app. In order to use the app, it is asking for my printer email  adress. I am not sure of where to find this and all previous forums on this have not actually answered the question. I have looked on the eprint center website to try to find it and in order to register the printer, it asks for a printer code. The website lists ambiguous instructions on how to find it on all officejet printers. Can someone help me find the printer's email address or the printer code? I am getting so frustrated.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
The HP ePrint app asks for your personal email address to activate the app and not the printer's email.
you should recieve a confirmation con to activate the app, then you will find your pritner available over the local network within the 'All' tab under the pritners selection
    Hope that helps,
    Shlomi

  • Laserjet 200 color M251 cannot connect to ePrint service

The printer is installed successfully to my home network wirelessly and I am able to print from my wireless laptop. When I have tried to enable the ePrint it fails to connect. My first try was by using my browser to go to the printer's IP address. On the "Web Services Setup" page I clicked the Enable button and waited. It failed to print the Information Sheet that the instructions indicated. So I went to the printer's touch screen and tried to print it from there. That produced the error message "Connection error: 500..." indicating it could not connect to the service. I then shut off both my PC' firewall and my router's firewall and retried. No joy. All the PCs and my Iomega NAS have no issues with connecting to the Internet so I cannot think of why the printer should have a problem.
I'd appreciate any advice on how to proceed.

    @Old60sHippie
Okay something is wrong here because resetting the printer should not have required you to reinstall the software on your PC. So I am a little puzzled at that on one. What version of the software did the cd install? You can find this out by going to printer properties and the about tab. If you don't have the following version: Version 61.117.01.1530. Then I would definately consider uninstalling your current software and updating to this one.
Now to wireless direct - this is not required for web services but if you turn it on you will be able to print directly from your mobile device to your printer. If using this method you will have no access to the internet. If using this method for printing, remember to hook back into your wi-fi for other services.
Again, I would encourage you to update your software driver/installer before going any further.

Now back to the other issue of connecting to web services, I have tested this repeated this morning and have been able to successfully disable and re-enable web services with the information sheet printing out. The only difference in our set up in mine is networked. So if you don't mind and have the capibility, try networking your printer, see if you can connect to web services then set up the wireless connection. A little clunky but our goal is to get you connected...

  • Cannot enable ePrint Web Services - get internet connection error for HP LaserJet 1102W

I have a HP laptop running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.  We just changed over to Comcast internet service from AT&T where my HP LaserJet 1102W was set up for ePrint.  After several hours, I was finally able to add the 1102W printer to the Comcast network, access the Embedded Web Server tool and print wirelessly but I cannot set up ePrint.  I have deleted the printer but cannot get it to connect to Web Services.  I keep on getting:  Connection Error. Check Internet Connection but again, I can print wirelessly successfully to the printer but would like to be able to set it back up for ePrint.  My Comcast router is an Arris TG862.
I have updated the firmware and used the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool but still am not able to get the ePrint Web Services to connect.  Here is the information from the Networking page of the EWS:

    Hi Surf1981,
I understand that you're not able to enable web services on your printer.  I would try steps listed below.
    1. Open an internet browser type printer's IP address.
    2. Should bring you to the printer's status page.
    3. Select networking tab at the top.
    4. Left hand side select Network Identification.
    5. Under DNS address Configuration select Manual DNS Server.
    6. For Preferred enter 8.8.8.8
    7. For Alternate enter 8.8.4.4
    8. Select apply. You might get a warning saying this could interrupt connection that's fine.
    9. Turn printer off for about 30 seconds then try again.

  • Cannot enable ePrint/Web Services, HP LaserJet CP1525nw

I am trying to follow HP's instructions for enabling ePrint and Web Services for my LaserJet CP1525nw.  I printed the Config Report, got the printer's IP address and entered it into a brower as instructed.  It does pull up summary page, but there is no "HP Web Services" tab as indicated in all of the HP instructions I can find - only four tabs that read: Status, System, Print, Networking.
I have looked at all sub-menus under each of these tabs, and cannot find anything that even resembles a "Web Services" option.
Can somebody please help?  Or is there another way to find the printer's email address so that I can register and use ePrint for my iPhone and iPad?
From what I have been able to find on HP Support, the Airprint software driver(s) are not yet availble for this LaserJet model - or are they?

There is firmware to enable AirPrint in the HP LaserJet CP1525nw.
Go to the support page for this printer:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=219&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=40529...
and pick the type of desktop computer you are using. On the resulting page you will see a choice to download a firmware updated that you can run on your computer to update your printer.

  • Installed ePrint on Officejet 6700, now cannot print wirelessly

    Greetings,
We have beenprinting wirelessly with our Officejet 6700 for quite some time. This morning the HP Connect/ePrint feature was installed...now we cannot print to the computer wirelessly. I have turned off the ePrint functionality on the printer, shut down and restarted...still not able to print.
Looking for suggestions, or a way to delete the eprint functionality.
    Much obliged...

    Hello Bugaloo911,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
Sorry to hear about the Officejet 6700 now being unable to wirelessly since you setup the ePrint portion of the printer. What is the Operating System installed on the computer, Windows or Mac? Also, what happens when you try to print? For example, is there an error or message of any kind on the computer?
Setting up ePrint should not have made any changes to the printers ability to wirelessly print via a computer connection. Does the printer still show a connection to the network? If you are not sure, touch the wireless icon from the printer home screen and then Print Wireless Test Report. If there is no connection, run the Wireless Setup Wizard.
Try running the HP Print and Scan Dr on the computer, if using a Windows computer.
Once the printer is working again on the computer we can look into re-setting up ePrint for you.
