Capturing Incoming Keystrokes

Hello,
I want to capture incoming keystrokes and prevent them from being passed to the current application. I need to identify the keystroke (i.e. an "a", a "b", etc.) and pass that information to an AppleScript Studio application that runs in the background. To pass the information to the AppleScript Studio application, I can use the command osascript to run an AppleScript that interacts with my Studio application. I just don't know how to catch the keystroke before it goes to the current application.
I am comfortable programming in AppleScript, and I am currently learning Python. I would very much appreciate any advice, or even a point in the right direction.

you can get the server's incoming request by running following WLST,
Run the ". ./setWLSEnv.sh" or set the classpath manually....

select runtime mbean , choose ServerRuntimeMBean , but you need to write JMX code to connect with weblogic server.

Capture incoming phone # to contacts? Voice commands? Speed dial?

How do I capture an incoming phone call to my contacts? Is there any way to dial by voice commands? On my old phone I could press and hold a number to speed dial, is Favorites the only way to do this on the iPhone? Any help would be appreciated

once you have a call in your call log (recents) press the blue arrow to the right of the number and you will see two buttons 1. create new contact 2. add to existing contact
no voice dialing
favorites is the only way to speedial, i think its faster than the traditional method just double click the home button and you are taken directly to favorites then just one touch and 'viola' phone call

How to capture incoming supplimentary invoice (Purchase)

Dear All,
The issue is as follows.
Vendor has sent us the invoice with price Ex.Rs100 and the excise on this also charged in the invoice. Actually the price charged by vendor is wrong. It should have been RS.150/-.
Now the vendor has sent us the supplementary invoice for Price Rs50 and on this excise duty also he has charged.
Please give me the inputs how I have to capture this in SAP.
Whether registers should be updated with this excise amount or not.If yes how we can do that.

ABAP Webdynpro: Capturing keystroke event

Hello,
There is a potential requirement to capture a keystroke event from a SAP standard webdynpro text box and provide a character count in a custom UI display text box on number of characters remaining.
From initial research - it looks like this may be possible with Unified Rendering Light Speed in WebDynpro ABAP?

Capturing keystroke event in console-mode

Hi fellow Java Programmer
I was stumbled upon what to be a simple question
Is it possible to capture the keystroke event inside console-based application
This is my scenario:
I have a thread that is keep running for a predetermined amount of time,
It is doing a background-sort-of-task. According to the requirement, it must be able to detect
when the user press 'R' (which will trigger Reload) or when user press 'Q' (denoting Quit)
I would appreciate if somebody come up with hint / snippet of source code

Capture keystroke from the SAP Business One Desktop

Does anyone know how I can capture a keystroke from the SAP Business One “Desktop” with the UI API?
Basically, open the B1 Client, then click the mouse in the back ground beside the main menu so that the cursor is “nowhere” (not in the search field). Now set some code In the KeyDown event to catch any keystrokes. Nothing happens. The event is not called. I even tried using SetWindowsHookEx API function but never got it to work with an SDK project since there is no form hHandle. Woudlnd even work once I gave the hhandle of the B1 Client

what is your exact requirement ?
I don't think you can specificly catch a key down in the background - but only because it is not possible to "lose" main menu as active form ( only if you close it -> then search field is active ).
So basically you have to find a logic where you can catch *your* keydown on any form.
Be aware of the fact, that keydown won't let you catch all keys / key combinations.
I had an equal requirement some time ago and after a lot of experimenting ( windows global hook wouldn't work reliable ) I ended up using SBO key shortcuts ( F2-F12 ) and their menu events.

Scenario: The company receives raw material from vendor and then vendor send excise invoice to company.
The same raw material then sell to other vendor but the incoming excise invoice is used to pass on duty . with threference to that incoming excise invoice duty pass on to this vendor to whom raw material has been sold
Question: How the process will be captured in SAP from MM to SD
1) now how i will create order > delivery >billing and how i will be able to get that incoming excise invoice in j1iin ?
2) What About Pricing Procedure?
I have searched the forum and i have also tried on the existing solution given in forum but still could not do it

Menu Path: User menu à Indirect taxes à Procurement à Excise invoice à Incoming Excise invoice à Individual Processing à Capture/Display (J1IEX)
a.     Select Post Excise Invoice and Vendor in windows above the Header.
b.    Enter Goods Receipt Document number generated in STEP 2 and press ENTER or Click on Execute   button.
c.     Following screen will appear as shown below.
Menu Path: Logistics à Materials Management à Inventory management àGoods movement à goods receipt à for purchase orderà Purchase order no. Known (MIGO)
.     Enter the PO number, Vendors Delivery Challan Number
b.    Press Enter u2013 at this point of time system will copy all the relevant information from PO and a Excise Invoice tab will appear in the Header screen as shown below, select capture Excise Invoice on this tab and check the Excise group.
c.     Enter the Received Quantity in the Quantity tab in field Quantity & Unit of entry.
Follow above procedure for claiming modvat for raw material.
d.    Enter receiving Storage Location in Where tab. Here check the stock type in which material is going to receive. If some text needs to be added regarding the goods receipt enter it in Text field.
Follow above procedure for claiming modvat for raw material.
e.     Check the Excise Details related to the received material in Excise Item tab in Detail Data screen as shown above.
Post the Captured Vendoru2019s Excise Invoice
Go to CIN transaction
Menu Path: User menu à Indirect taxes à Procurement à Excise invoice à Incoming Excise invoice à Individual Processing à Capture/Display (j1iex)
a.     Select Post the Excise Invoice and Goods Receipt in windows above the Header.
b.    Enter Vendor Excise no generated above.
If material had directly came from different vendor, Enter vendor code in Ship from field in miscellaneous tab.
a.     If Excise Invoice is faulty and still want to take the credit for the excise invoice, enter the rejection code.
b.    Check the Material Chapter Heading, Material type in Item tab in Detail Data screen.
c.     Check the Quantity in Quantity tab
d.    Check the Duty rate in Duty rate tab.
e.     Check duty values and Tax amount for the material in Duty value tab.
f.     Check the Part I entries, which are created immediately after the GR in Part I tab.

How to re-capture excise duty which is issue aginst subcontract PO

I have made a Subcontract PO with item category as L, with full payment of excise duty in subcontract there are two BOM component, then i have done MB1B ref. to MB1B document number excise invoice created with J1IS for the raw materials which we have supplied, as in case of subcontract with full payment of excise duty there is no need to create subcontract challn now I have made the GR for finish product, now how to capture the excise duty back when I ma trying to J1IEX capture excise inovice ref. to GR or PO it is showing me only finish material in the J1IEX not the RM, as the excise duty is on the RM only not on Finish product in vendor PO tax is as labour chagres only.

I wan to put some basic things here
1) when you send material to vendor with excise duty ,then vendor will take credit of that material ( your child material)
2) After processing your child material vendor will send final material only not child material
so how you will capture incoming excise for component which already consume by vendor?
second thing if you received excise invoice from your vendor for final product then check that invoice you will get only Final material name and qty, there not child material with excise if am not wrong

Excise capture by j1iex

Hi exparts:
I am unable to capture incoming excise invoice through J1iex T-code.
after pressing check button it is showing green indicator but msg. giving that you have not flagged any item as ok.
but in that screen there is no place to tick the material as OK.
pls. help.

Extended keyboard captures?

Apologies if this has been asked already.
I am creating simulations to train on an application that
uses a non-standard keyboard - it has about ten more function keys.
The user will need to press some of these keys to perform the
transactions.
Captivate is not capturing these keystrokes. I cannot figure
out how to capture them manually (or use a click box to add a
shortcut). Is this possible?

Hmmm, that's an interesting thought. Aside from inserting a
kabillion Click Box objects on the slide (one for each key allowed)
there really isn't a way inside Captivate. Personally, I think it
would make for a wonderful enhancement request.

The new approach is to use key bindings. Read the Swing tutorial on [url http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/misc/keybinding.html]How to Use Key Bindings.
I don't really understand you question so I can't give any specific advice.

Well, you can certainly configure a shortcut key for each
text entry field. And Tab is actually among the list of keys you
can configure. But this serves as the "validation" key. So if you
are looking to see if a field was skipped, I'm not exactly sure how
you might approach it. Or are you simply wanting to see if the
field was visited?

Shell extensions and key stroke capturing...

Hello. Me and my team are working on a project which converts English input from a QWERTY keyboard to Unicodes local Indian languages like Kannada, Tamil etc. We're using Java and SWT for UI. The program should run in such a way that once the program is running, wherever the user enters, he should be able to see the unicodes/indian language output. That is, the program should be a shell extension or a it must run in the background and capture the keystrokes of the active window the user is using. We are developing this software for both windows and linux. So is it possible to create shell extensions or implement the background window(process)?
Are there APIs in linux to capture key strokes?? Is it possible to use Win32 WinHooks in windows to capture the key strokes??

The ASCII code set which would normally represent the entire english character set, is part of unicode. So no conversion needed.
But perhaps you merely wish to map set of keystrokes into other characters? I would strongly suppose that at least windows already supports this in some format so I am not sure why you need java in the mix. Certainly, for example, if you had a computer set up to display another language character set and you want to put a key stroke interceptor in place that should be possible. And if the computer is not set up to display the language then what is the point?

Layout Question - How to print a frame on the bottom of the last page ?

I have a summary frame for my report. I want to print the summary information at the bottom of the last page of the report. Currently depending on the data, the summary frame prints anywhere on the last page. How do I make sure it prints exactly at the bottom of the last page (just the last page).
