Cisco EIM - Message in Agent Inbox Crashes IE.

Hello All,
One of our Agents has an email message in here inbox in EIM, and when you click on that message IE freezes then does "Not Responding". Since this happens without fail every single time, we have not been able to get rid of this message.
We've tried this on Internet Explorer versions 6, 7, 8 and 9. But the same thing happens in ALL browsers.
What happens is, the Agent's "Main Inbox" loads in IE. Currently there are 2 messages in her inbox, and if I click on one of the messages everything is fine I can do whatever I need to do with it. But when I click on this "problem" email message in the inbox, IE beings to load the message in the panes below, then it stops and goes "Not Responding", and the only thing you can do is end the program.
*FYI: The email in question does have an attachment, if that makes a difference.
If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, it would be much appreciated.

So I would remove that email (*in the backend) by removing it from the Database using the Table you posted, is that right?
Sorry, wasn't sure what you meant. The only thing I've ever really done with the DB is polling it with our Wallboard application for the CallCenter.
EDIT: On the EIM server (Windows Server 2003) I open MS SQL Management Studio, connect to the DB, and I can see the following DB's:
               - eGActiveDB
               - eGArchiveDB
               - eGMasterDB
And In the eGActiveDB I can see tables similar to what you posted, called:
dbo.EGPL_CASEMGMT_ACTIVITY_9000
dbo.EGPL_CASEMGMT_ACTIVITY_ACTIONS
dbo.EGPL_CASEMGMT_ACTIVITY_BKP
dbo.EGPL_CASEMGMT_ACTIVITY_LT_9000
Is it one of those that I need to edit?

    Go to the Administration Console in EIM, then Departments. Inside the Department, there will be an Email folder, and inside that is Aliases. In the properties for each Alias, there is an "Email address" field.

  • Map Trash disappeared completely out of my account in TB. I can not delete messages anymore in Inbox. I created a submap in Inbox. Can not delete that either.

    Suddenly, without any action on my side the Map Trash disappeared completely out of my account in TB. I can not delete messages anymore in Inbox. I created a submap in Inbox. Can not delete map that either. How to fix/restore this problems?

  • Results amount in the agent inbox

    Hi,
    I am working on WEB UI CRM 5.0
    In the agent inbox after i get the result list,
    How can i see the results amount (quantity)?
    meaning, i dont want to count the results manually.

    I'm afraid that there is no standard way to display the number of items automatically in your inbox result list.
    So, in my opinion you have two alternatives:
    - Count them manually (for this take into consideration, the number of pages displayed to do your counting)
    - Make some development at view's controller class.
    If you decide to do the development part, take a look at class CL_CRM_IC_AUISEARCH_IMPL, method EH_ONSEARCH. There, take a look at this line:
        TRY.
            lr_result ?= lr_query->get_query_result( ).
          CATCH cx_crm_ic_internal_error.
        ENDTRY.
    After this lines execution, the variable lr_result will gather a collection of entities. Each entity is a result item of your result list.
    So all you have to do is to count the entities in this collection (see method SIZE of reference class), at display a message with the result in IC Webclient.

  • Assign Agent Inbox Address

    Dear expert
    In our system (CRM 5.0), we made all required settings for an incoming email to appear in the agent inbox. It was working fine until we change the organizational structure.
    We had an organizational unit and under it positons and business partners. All users under this org. unit was able to see the incoming emails. But we changed it a bit and created 3 sub-org unit under the first org. unit. Now users are not able to see new incoming emails and we cannot see emails processed by someone who would be under sub org 2, if we are under sub org 1.
    Regarding the first issue: nobody can see new incoming emails.
    I found that a dummy business partner under the first org unit had the inbox email address under his system user. If I copy this position/bp/user, under sub org 1 then users under sub org 1 can see incoming emails. But I don't want to replicate this position/bp/user under each of my sub org, because this dummy may be used for other processes. If I assign the email address directly under org 1 or sub org 1,  users under sub org 1 still don't see incoming emails .....
    Regarding the second issue: is it possible for users to display incoming emails that are processed by someone in a different sub group?

    Let's first clear things out.
    Suppose you have three levels
    Level 1
       |-Level 2
                   |-Level 3
    (When posting it's not very clear but level 3 is under level 2 and level 2 is under level 1)
    If you assign the emails to be received in level 1 everyone belonging to level 1, 2 and 3 will see the e-mails, even when they are in process.
    If you assign the emails to be received in level 2 everyone belonging to level 2 and 3 will see the e-mails.

    If you want everyone to see all incoming mails, assign your emails to level 1 and everyone (in level 1 and any level below level 1) should see all mails.

  • Upgrade path for Cisco EIM/WIM v4.2(5)

    Hi all,
    I need some help in understanding what is required to deploy Cisco EIM/WIM v4.2(5) for Cisco UCCE.
    a) media kit received contained v4.2(1), 3rd party tools, v4.2(4a) SR & v4.2(5a) MR
    b) based on the docs, v4.2(1) needs to be installed first followed by v4.2(4a) SR and then v4.2(5a) MR
    Some concerns/questions i have is
    a) Since v4.2(1) only supports SQL 2000 and v4.2(5) only supports SQL 2005, does that mean i'll require to purchase both SQL 2000 & SQL 2005? Can I install v.4.2(1) directly on SQL 2005?
    b) Since v4.2(1) only supports BEA WebLogic, is there a way to change it to JBoss when upgrading to v4.2(5)? If so, any idea how that can be done? If not mistaken this is possible when upgrading to v4.3(1).
    c) Is there a way to directly install v4.2(5) without going to the mentioned upgrade path

    The license is assigned to a MAC address so if you have other NICs available it may cause issues. As the system maybe comparing the wrong NIC. I dont believe you can "Reload" the license. I am all most certain you are hitting a bug with the license file. There are a number around :-(. Below is the most common:

    I know your symptoms do not match "Exactly" but I had the same issue as you and just upgraded to 4.2(5) and then applied ES1. That fixed all my problems. I have attached ES1 for you. If you are still not to sure then i would probably open a TAC case but they are probably going to tell you to upgrade to 4.2.4 or 4.2.5 first.
    If you decide to upgrade to 4.2.5 please also take note of the following:

    You need to make sure that the collation in SQL is set to SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AI. The above guide exsplains how to check this and change it if it is incorrect.

  • Cisco EIM/ICM Routing Priorities?

    I have a question about the logic that is used for routing and queueing e-mails in Cisco EIM when integrated with ICM.  If there are agents responding to e-mails that are assinged to multiple user groups, what is the logic used to assign those e-mails?  Both groups are using the same SLA's in the workflows and are set to a skill priorty of "0" in ICM.  I have agents who recieve older e-mails from one skill group after they receive newer e-mails on another skill group.  How do you make all skill groups equal so that the oldest mails are always getting answered 1st? or does it have to do with the volume recieved in each skill group?  Any insight would be helpful as I can not find any documentation on this.  Thanks.

    When an EIM "queue" is integrated to ICM, the mapping is through the script selector / dialed number.
    Following the mantra "Dialed Number - Call Type - Scheduled Script", an email coming into EIM will generate a NEW_TASK request through the PG, up to the router and run the script. Now standard ICM skill group rules come into play. If agents are in two different skill groups, and your scripting is correct, they should get the oldest call from either skill group. I haven't had a problem with this particular aspect of EIM, but it's a complicated beast and seems to have some quirks.
    Skill priority is 1 to 10, with 1 being the highest. Are you sure you are using zero?

    When I select a work item (service ticket) and click on the
    "Interact" or "Edit" button to process the ticket the info
    message is displayed as "Unable to process selected inbox item".
    If I selct e-mail work item and click on "Interact" its
    navigating to the account identification screen, which seems to
    be correct. What might be the problem with work item for service
    ticket processing from the agent inbox by clicking interact or
    edit push button.

    1. Is service ticket link available in your webclient.If not add the service ticket link in the navigation bar profile.
    2. Also make sure that the transcation type(with which the search of service ticket happens) is assigned to the business transcation profile.

  • Cisco XCP Message Archiver Alerts

    Hello,
    I've set up the Cisco XCP Message Archiver to archive Jabber conversations to an external database. I've also configured the XcpMessArchDBConnectError alert to send an email from the Real Time Monitoring Tool when the connection to the database goes down.
    The first time the database goes down, RTMT send an alert, but any subsequent outages to not cause the alert to re-activate. Even with the database down, the CUPS web interface showing the connection as unavailable, you do not see the alert trigger in RTMT. Does anyone know why this may be?
    The system version is: 9.1.1.41900-1.

    If you restart the Cisco Presence Engine service you get the following message in RTMT:

    Does anyone know what could be causing this?

  • Cannot delete messages from inbox, cannot move messages out of inbox, message do not copy to "sent" or "draft"

    The following problems occur:
    - cannot delete messages,
    - cannot move messages out of inbox,
    - messages do not copy "sent"
    - messages cannot be saved to "draft"
    This applies to imap and to gmail accounts.
    The following has not helped:
    - compact trash and other folder
    - deinstall and reinstall TB 31.4.
    - archive profile with mozbackup and replace profile from archive after reinstall of TB.
    - deinstall and reinstall TB 31.3 downgraded
    - delete all folders and files with "trash*" in the file name (all IMAP)
    - delete all files of 1 mail account completely in the TB profile and resync from server (IMAP)
    This might coincide with these system changes:
    - upgrade to TB 31.4.
    - some of these email accounts were installed on ios8 iphone.
    Not sure if the problems had already started before these 2 occurrences.
    Any help is appreciated to solve this.

    What type of mail account is this (POP, IMAP, .Mac)? If POP, what are your Preferences > Accounts > Advanced > Remove copy from server settings?
    You may be able to get rid of those messages in Mail doing Edit > Cut (⌘X) (for best results do it with one message or just a few at a time), but you should remove them from the server first if they’re still there.
    Does this account allow web access? If not, you may find the Account Info window useful to solve this problem — choose Get Info (⌘I) from the Action menu (gear icon) located below the mailboxes list in the main Mail window.

  • Issue with custom search fields in agent inbox

    Hi All,
    I am working on CRM agent inbox 7.0. The issue I am facing is like this:
    I have added custom search fields in inbox. When give a combination of standard search field and custom search field, the result is only based on standard field. The value of custom field is not considered.
    Is this a standard behaviour? Are standard fields given higher priority that custom fields?
    Any pointers on this would be highly helpful.

    Did you add custom field using AET? If yes then while adding custom field using AET did you make it search and result relevant?
    There is nothing like priority in standard SAP fields and custom fields.

  • Unable to see the email attachments in IC Agent Inbox

    Hi All,
    we are running on crm7.1, i have configured agent inbox and the email functionality is working fine, we used ERMS in our scenario to route the emails to specific agents.
    Issue is that: the emails are visible and availble to the agents but we are not able to see the attachments along with, In agent inbox , the attachment is not visible for opening or downloading.
    Following has been done:
    Email profile has been configured IN IC WEB CLIENT -> BASIC SETTINGS -> COMMUNICATION - > EMAIL PROFILE - > Display of HTML mails is enabled.
    Email profile has been added in business role via functional profiles.
    SM30 -> table SXPARAMS - > maintained MULTILVALUE/ALTERNATIVE with HTML ACCORDING TO THE NOTE.
    Note 1787141 has been implemented in the system.
    still, we are not able to view the attachments which were sent to [email protected]  , while the agent logs on, he is able to see the email but not the attachment.
    please let us know if we need to maintain any further settings to achieve this SIMPLE attachment functionality

    I am able to see the entry in SOIN. however the attachment is displayed like below (attached screenshot for the same, please take a look)
    SAP_BASIS is release 702 , level 0012, highest support SAPKB70212
    BBPCRM is Release 701 with level 0009, highest support SAPKU70109.

    Is there any way that number of hits can be diaplayed in the result list of IC agent Inbox.
    Currently its does not diaplay the number of hits. But this is available in standard search.

    We have enhanced the Inbox view to meet our requirements. After that I dont see the number of hits being displayed.
    I see it appearing in standard search view
    But how can I display the hits in result view. How can this be achieved

  • Workitem should be in  IC Agent Inbox but not in SBWP

    Hi,
         I have a scenario in which i am creating a workitem through program. This is creating a workitem and sending a mail to the user through ERMS. Now, this workitem is present both in the agent inbox (i.e ERMS) and also in SBWP.
    Once the ERMS rule is executed a mail is sent to the user. But this mail is present at both agents inbox and in SBWP. If the user clicks it in sbwp , the workitem refreshs and disappear in SBWP and it is setting the status completed in the ERMS. I need this to be seen only in agents inbox.

      What workflow you are using.
    I think the the workitem status completed in ERMS because of some terminating event trigger after you click on SBWP.

Maybe you are looking for
