Cisco Jabber MRA : Cannot login from internet

Dear all,
I have the following : CUCM 10.5, IM & P 10.5, VCS C 8.2, VCS E 8.2. CUCM, IM & P, VCS C are located in the internal network. VCS E is located in the DMZ. I'm sure that firewall configuration is already opened according to Deployment Guide.
I've checked UC status in VCS C and VCS E, Unified Communications services is active, traversal zone is active.
Does anybody have any idea?
Thanks.

I had a look at the jabber logs that were provided and the issue appears to be host name resolution. (atleast in this login attempt)
The client is able to successfully retrieve the collab-edge record for the "telkom.co.id" domain.
DNS query succeeded for '_collab-edge._tls.telkom.co.id.'
The client then tries to send the get_edge_config to the following address:
https://ewedge-4-uc-st.telkom.co.id.telkom.co.id:8443/dGVsa29tLmNvLmlk/get_edge_config
What's odd about this is that the request has the domain listed twice. Due to this the login is failing with a "Could not resolve host" error.
2014-08-19 16:35:47,444 INFO  [0x000025a8] [ls\src\http\CurlAnswerEvaluator.cpp(108)] [csf.httpclient] [http::CurlAnswerEvaluator::curlCodeToResult] - curlCode=[6] error message=[Could not resolve host: ewedge-2-uc-st.telkom.co.id.telkom.co.id] result=[UNRESOLVED_HOST_ERROR]
2014-08-19 16:35:47,444 ERROR [0x000025a8] [ls\src\http\BasicHttpClientImpl.cpp(382)] [csf.httpclient] [http::executeImpl] - There was an issue performing the call to curl_easy_perform: UNRESOLVED_HOST_ERROR
These logs suggest that there is an error with the collab-edge response. For some reason it's listed with the domain twice. I would double check your collab-edge SRV to see how you have it formatted.
I hope this helps.

  • Jabber client cannot login when primary IMP is unavailable

    Hi
We have 2 x IMP 9.1 servers in cluster and Jabber client running.  Current Jabber client work since we use IMP primary IP for login. When primary IMP server becomes unavailable, Jabber client seems cannot login anymore.
    How can we fixed this?

  • Secure Login from Internet

Hi, We are looking to make the Portal available to our clients over the internet with a secure login.  Is there any way to allow us to allow login in any of the following ways?:  What would be required?
    1. User Logs in with User Name/Password, but only if they have a Certificate we issued to them or they have on their pc.
    2. Allow the Portal to automatically log them in if they have a certificate?
    Thanks

    Hi,
if I understand you correctly, you want to have a mutual authentication, meaning:
    1. You'll have a SSL secured connection to your portal from the Internet
    2. The users do have a client certificate that your organization (CA, PKI) has issued.
The EP supports client certificates. You'll have to enable this feature on the portal server.

  • Cannot login from Windows iCloud control panel, but that not all...

I set up my Apple Id and downloaded the Windows iCloud control panel, but when I try to sign in from my PCI get this message: "You can't sign in because of a server error." But when I check the status of icloud everything is operational. But if I go to the icloud page directly, I can sign in normally. The reason this is an issue is that I cannot setup icloud on my computer properly and with all of the options I want without signing in from the icloud control panel. This really bites, and any help would be appreciated immensly.
    Thanks, Scott

I am having the same problem. I really need a solution. My Admin is flying blind without being able to see my calendars.

  • Cannot Print from Internet Pages

Hi, I have my HP Photosmart 5510 Printer connected to my laptop via Wi Fi. I can print successfully from files on the laptop ( such as word docs ), but if I try to print from an internet page, including E-mails, nothing happens. No items even appear in the printing list ( when I select 'see what is printing' ). I have reinstalled printer drivers from the HP website, but this does not cure the problem. Please help. Regards, Bob P.

Hi ,  I have done some research and found a few things for you to try. Please perform the steps outlined below and let me know the outcome of your efforts:  Method 1: Try printing a webpage running Internet Explorer as an Administrator. To start Internet Explorer as an Administrator, follow these steps: a)    Close all Internet Explorer windows.b)    Click Start, click All Programs, right-click Internet Explorer and select Run As Administrator.c)    Browse to a website and try test printing a page while running as the Administrator. If the issue persists, try next method. Method 2: Try printing after disabling Protected Mode. Try printing a webpage after disabling Protected Mode, to do this, follow these steps: a)    Click the Tools icon in Internet Explorerb)    Click the Security tab and uncheck the checkbox beside Enable Protected Mode (requires restarting Internet Explorer)c)    Click Apply, and then click OK.d)    Close all open Internet Explorer windows, and then restart Internet Explorer.e)    Browse to a website and try test printing a page while running as the Administrator. If the issue persists, try next method. Method 3:
Set IE as default browser. Follow the steps for the same: a. From the Start screen, type Default Programs, and select the Apps filter.
    b. Click Default Programs in the search results.
    c. Click Set your Default Programs.
    d. Choose Internet Explorer from the list.
    e. Select Set this program as default, and then click OK. For further reference, refer the following Microsoft article. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/choose-programs-windows-uses-default - Source If the issue persists, it might be a good idea to run the Microsoft fix it utility to Diagnose and fix printer and printing problems automatically. Please let me know if you can print after you try these suggested solutions. Thanks.

  • Office jet 4500 wireless cannot print from Internet Explorer 9

Since I installed IE9 I can no longer print webpages and I get an errormessage when I try to, whereas printing in MS Office works just fine.
My OJ 4500 Wireless is installed on a Windows 7 (64 bit) machine.
I tried solving the problem by downloading and installing the latest full version driver, but the problem persists.
    Who can help me?

    Hi ATOL,
It sounds like you might be selecting properties instead of  "printer properties".
Double check and make sure that  you're selecting "printer properties" from the list.

  • Cannot print from internet connection

For several weeks now, I've been unable to print pages from the net. I can print documents in hard drive programs just fine (Word, Excel, etc.), but whenever I try to print from the net, it loads up the printer pane, but there's nothing to preview and pressing print does nothing.
It used to work just fine. I've tried to figure out if I loaded anything on here a few weeks back that might've affected it and the only program I added was an updated version of Quicktime to allow me to rotate movies.
We can print from our other Mac which is linked to mine.
    What should I be checking?
    TIA

Hi ! Welcome to the HP Forums, and thanks for posting. I understand you are having some wireless communication issues with your HP Deskjet 3520 e-All-in-One series after restarting your modem. I'd love to help you with this. The first thing I would recommend doing would be to do a network power refresh. When the signal to the router or modem is interrupted, the printer will often lose connection without giving any signs of it.Let's leave the router on and unplug the power cable (NOTE: Do not reset the router.), then do the same with the printer, and shut down the computer. After a full minute, plug the router back in, wait for it to fully power up, then plug the printer back in and wait for the wireless light to become solid. Once both the router and printer are on, go ahead and turn the computer back on. Doing this will refresh the network connection. Once everything is back on and running, is the blue wireless light on your printer on and solid? Or is it blinking? If it is blinking it means that it is searching for a network connection and is unable to connect. If the light is blinking, I would suggest following these steps to reconfigure your printer on your wireless network:Setting Up the Printer for a Wireless network for the HP Deskjet 3520 e-All-in-One and HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3520 e-All-in-One Printer Series If the wireless light is on and solid, try printing from the iPad and iPhone again (you may need to restart these devices as well for them to work). Hope this helps! Please respond to let me know if this resolved your issue.

  • Cannot login into Here Maps on my Surface 2, but c...

    OK,
    here's the thing.
With the latest updates for the HERE apps, I created a HERE account. This went without problems, and on my phone all HERE/travel related apps can login and work without a problem.
I can sync and such, no issues there. Never used the Nokia account for that anyway, so no losses here ;-)
I reinstalled HERE Maps (problem with updating maps gave me a blanc screen after restarting the app) on my Surface 2, and added the maps I want again.
The app itself works, but I cannot login from within the HERE Maps app on my Surface 2. Eveytime I get the 'cannot login...' error.
The login/passwork combo does work, as I can see on my WP8.1 Lumia phone. So I'm a bit baffled why it doesn't work on my tablet. And no.... logging in with a Facebook account doesn't fly. The MS account might, but that isn't an option here.
    thanks for any thoughts,
    rob

  • Some Users cannot login via Lync 2013 windows client

    Hi,
I have a Lync 2013 FrontEnd server, DB server and Edge Server.
Since last noon we are facing a mysterious issue. Its as below.
( I have just entered into Lync administration)
User A and User B, both were able to login to lync till yesteday noon on their individual PC, any PC or mobile (windows, android, mac) with any version of Lync client, inside and outside the organization.
Last noon User A reported that he is facing an issue that whenever he logs in to lync 2013 client he is automatically logged off in 2 to 3 seconds. Then again logs in automatically and again loggs off in 2-3 seconds. and thats all is happening again and
again. The message he is is getting after he is logged off is "The connection to the server was lost
. Reconnecting. Current calls may continue, but with reduced functionality".
But at the same time he was able to login from other computer and his mobile device.  At the same time, User B is not facing any issue on his machine.
Then User A tried to login from the User B's computer and there also he faced same issue. Then i asked User B to login on computer of User A and what i see is User B is able to login on User A's computer.
What is concluded from the observation is, User A cannot login from lync client 2013 from any computer inside and outside of my network and can login from any other client/version/platform inside or outside of my network.
What i checked for is Client Version Policy of User A and User B, but both are same (Automatic). Below is my client version policy and i am using client version 15.0.4605.1000
In Sing In Logs. (By Right click on system tray icon of lync) i got below information.
    Error-1
In Windows 8, event viewer i am getting only Event ID 1 or 12 which says, "
The description for Event ID 12 from source Lync cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
    Lync
    Thanks, Rishi Pandit.

The issue has been resolved by removing an entry from "Trusted Application Server". This application server was being used for Polycom VC infrastructure integration with Lync.
As per Task 4 section in
Polycom and Lync Integration Documentation we have to use below-
    http://support.polycom.com/global/documents/support/strategic_partner_solutions/Polycom_UC_Microsoft_Deployment_W8.pdf
Use the New-CsStaticRoute command to set up a static route for the RealPresence
    Collaboration Server system.
    $route = New-CsStaticRoute -TLSRoute -destination rmx.corp.local
    -port 5061 -matchuri sipdomain.com -usedefaultcertificate $true
where rmx.corp.local is the FQDN of the RealPresence Collaboration Server SIP signaling
domain and sipdomain.com is the name of the Trusted Application Pool you created.
    but this was wrong.
we used sip.domain.com and issue got resolved. Polycom forgot one (.) dot between sip and domain.com which ruined us.
    Thanks.
    Thanks, Rishi Pandit.
