Closing a service PO
Hello Experts,
I would need your help to understand how do we close a service PO in srm.
I understand we can mark as delivery completed on the SES, and then check the final indicators on the PO.
For our client, the service PO doesn't have final delivery indicators, we have them suppressed for the PO.
The final indicators on the PO are checked.
The PO is appearing on the open PO report.
Any suggestions? How do I confirm if the PO is closed?

Hi Soumik,
For closed PO, it should have 'No further confirmation'(final_entry set as X) in all item levels.
Such POs will be considered as closed PO.

I have configured the service request 2000223.Now i have a requirement,that in any disastrous case, one service request will be made and other service request in that category will be linked to the main service request and after closing the first one or master service request others will be closed.

Closing an service po item after GR and IV
Dear Friends
I have created a service PO for the value of 1000
I have done GR and IV for 900
I need to close the remaining 100 value PO as it is showing me in Open PO list

friend first of all when u talk abt GR of the services, it is wrong terminology, u do acceptance of the services via ML81n.
when you must recieved the services via ML81N, and then you must have accepted the services,
now you do 1 thing, you go back to same Service entry sheet in ML81N, and revoke the acceptance,
then you will see a red icon at the top, which is for the final delivery, just check that indicator and again accept the services.
that indicator is for the "FINAL DELIVERy" of the services
further u can not make any more entry sheets for the given PO.

Set Final entry indicator (If you set the Final entry indicator , no further services can be entered against the
relevant purchase order) in your Service Entry Sheet.
Delivery complete indicator is not occur in service order, so you can do this.
You have to set deletion flag in service order line item.
You can do this with ME22N and for multiple service order you can do this with MEMASSPO transaction code.

Service Marketplace is huge, with many sites. You need to be more specific about which queries you are interested in seeing.
If you are talking about searching for your Forum queries within SAP Community Network (here), just clik on "Your Control Panel" which is displayed on many screens. It will take you to a profile page. At the bottom is an icon to search for all messages you have created.
Or, perhaps you are talking about your customer messages, in the SAP Support Portal? Here you would log into the site, select Help and Support > Report a product error > Search Messages. Enter your s number.
If it is a different site from the above two, let me know.

Kill ORBD service after my application closing .

But its Ok to running myapplication , but when closing my application , this service not get closed .
Any idea about closing Orbd service at runtime , (not using Ctrl+c )

Cannot "Complete" Service Desk Messages in External System
Hello Solution Manager Experts!
I have an issue where we had two Solution Manager Service Desks and needed to consolidate into one. As part of that exercise, we set up an external service desk relationship between the old service desk (call it SID OLD) and the new service desk (call it SID NEW). When sending the service desk messages from OLD to NEW via the action (Send to External Service Desk) we can only set the status to "Accepted", and the status "Completed" is grayed out for the service desk message that resides in the NEW system. In the NEW system, under the Transaction Details-->Transaction Analysis there an error indicating that the message can only be closed by the external system (OLD). However, in the OLD system, the original message is already set to "Complete", and I am no longer able to do anything with the original service desk message. Even if I make another copy of the message in the OLD system and resend the copy to the NEW system (as status "new"), I still cannot mark the service desk message "Complete". In the OLD system, even of this copy of the service desk message is something other then Complete, I cannot mark it complete and synchronize with the new system. I get an error in the old system that says that "The problem message is locked in external system SM_NEWCLNT030_SERVDESK", which is obviously a reference to the RFC destination for the new external service desk.
How can I go back into the NEW system and change the message to "Complete"? Additionally, even if I could close the message in OLD and synchronize with NEW, I am curious how I would get around this issue if the OLD Solution Manager service desk needed to be decommissioned, and was no longer available, this would still be an issue of closing out service desk messages to a status of "Complete". Is there some kind of program I can run agains certain service desk message numbers which will "break" that relationship with the OLD service desk so I can set those messages that originated in OLD to be "Complete" in NEW?
Any service desk messages that are created directly in NEW can be closed out to "Completed". This is an issue that is only a problem with messages that originated in OLD. I hope this makes sense.

Thanks!I found a workaround by going into the status profile in the NEW system, double clicking on the CONF status, changed "To be distributed" to "allowed" and "set". Then I backed up one screen so I could see all my status's; and then in the last column of the CONF status in the column labled "Trans.", I set it to RELE instead of FINI.
This enables me to set the "completed" messages from my legacy (OLD) system to "completed" in my (NEW) system. Once I have all the status's set, I'll set the status profile entry for CONF back to the way it was. -

Please let me know if anyone else is having a problem with closed captioning in HD and what was done to fix the problem.
I've switched my VPD from Cablevision to Verizon in hopes of eliminating or identifying why Closed Captioning is not passing through intact to my home.
I've recorded shows from the three major networks, ABC, CBS and NBC both in standard definition as well as high definition. In addition I've been able to narrow issue to certain programs.
Both ABC and NBC displayed no noticeable change in the quality of captioning received to the home in SD or HD. However there is a significant difference with regards to CBS's Closed Captioning on their HD channels Cablevision's (702) & Verizon’s (502)
According to CBS’s Closed Captioning Department they are unable to duplicate the flash, delayed and missing captioning on the following programs:
CSI NY
CSI Miami
NCIS
The Mentalist
Flash Point
Criminal Minds
Blue Bloods
Hawaii Five O
My wife who relies on closed captioning services wanted me to share as much information with all of you in hopes of helping to resolve this issue for all who rely on quality programming. I don't know how many of you record these programs through a DVR and in HD to help assist me further in locating the problem.
I was hoping if someone could record anyone of these programs and let me know which program and if any captioning errors were displayed. I am trying to figure out if the problem is with my HDTV, HD DVR, Verizon Fios or Broadcaster.

The only thing you are doing is updating the Resolution and Status.
