For a perticular IP Phone extension when agent is going to login using CTI agent toolkit then CTI generatin this msg "CTI warning: The request failed because the timeout limit was exceeded". but the other ph is working fine. I have deleted this phone and add againg. And the ph re-associate with PG and JTapi user. but still have the prob. For more plz see the find attached.
Your first troubleshooting step here should be to check what JTAPI Gateway thinks is the state of that extension, you can easily check that through procmon. Here's an example from my lab.

The RegistrationState should be IN_SERVICE for a phone that is registered with CUCM. If you can see that the phone is registered with CUCM in it's adminsitration pages, made sure that it's in the list of associated devices, made sure you're running the correct version of the jtapi plugin and still see it as OUT_OF_SERVICE, you're probably looking at a CTI Manager defect. CSCti07947 and CSCti11651 spring to mind but there are probably a couple more.
Most of these defects should be fixed in releases like CUCM 7.1(5), 8.0(x) and up. If the issue persists, you're probably best off opening a TAC Service Request to identify the exact cause. The PG (JTAPI Gateway) only shows you what it gets from CTI Manager, so as you can see from my above observations, you'd want to focus your troubleshooting on the CUCM end.

I have used Azure managed Cache (Basic tier) in my Web App deployed on cloud service.

hemaYou should add retry logic in case of retriable exceptions. If the retries fail as well you should reset the DataCacheFactory as suggested in this link.

Windows XP - Unable to register with DCOM within the timeout limit
Just curious if anyone has run into iTunes server unable to register with DCOM within the given timeout limit?
Also quite often when I close iTunes, the process shutsdown but then 30sec - 2min iTunes opens its self right back up again. I ususally have to terminiate it from the Task Manager.

Everytime I sync my iPhone it gives me the warning: The app "Pages" was not installed on the iPhone "Mom's iPhone" because you are not authorized for it on this computer.
Pages was installed when I initially purchased it for my iPhone, but when I got the 4S recently I got the above message. I tried deauthorizing and then reauthorizing, but it didn't help. The Install/Will Install option is there, but gets me the same message. (And I did hit the Apply button)Agh! I figured out I had two apple id's and was able to install Pages from that account. Dumb! :/

Before going further, are we using domain admin account to use netdom and adsiedit.msc? Whether it is true or not, please try another admin account to check if the issue persists. Besides, to use netdom, we must run the
netdom command from an elevated command prompt. If the issue persists, please try to join the machine to the domain from the machine itself to see if it can be successful.

How do i set the timeout value?
I'm doing an insert...in the insert i have a trigger that fires a http put. when i'm doing a couple inserts at a time, it works fine. However if i try to insert about 50 at one time (within msecs of each other) then i get the following error:
ORA-29276 transfer timeout
Cause: Timeout occurred while reading from or writing to a network connection.
Action: Check the remote server or the network to ensure that it responds within the timeout limit. Or increase the timeout value.
My question is, how do i set this timeout value?FYI,

K7N2 IDE Drives and the 137G limit
There doesn't appear to be a specific set of IDE drivers for the K7N2 with respect to the regular IDE controller. I hooked a 200G Maxtor up to the regular IDE controller, expecting to use the full 200G under Windows 2000, but alas, it came up with the infamous 137G limit! I moved the drive to onboard Promise controller(IDE3) and got the full 200G but it has it's own drivers. The driver update pack from MSI lists a separate driver for IDE, but I have yet to find it, and would it handle drives over 137G anyhow? I read somewhere on the forum that the max limit was 160G. I would be quick to point out that drives larger than a 137G are becoming common and CHEAP! I got my 200G drive for US$140!

Diagnostic steps when "Semaphore timeout" is hit during network transfer:
1. Check if the protected server (sender) or DPM (receiver) was under stress or inaccessible during the time of failure – from event logs from both the machines. Retry should work if the packet loss was because of either of the servers being inaccessible
or under stress for a period.
2. Check if the network between the PS and the DPM is flaky – retransmit count from ‘netstat –s’ or perfmon counters can give an idea.
3. Else contact network support engineer to diagnose the packet loss issue – netmon captures from both machines, packet route and network layout/devices will be required to start the investigation.
4. Take some performance monitor logs on both DPM and Proteted server side.
Some good and basic perfmon counters to take to see if the servers are under stress are below.

CF 5 warning "A request exceeded the timeout" then service stops

We have recently replaced an aging server with a new machine.
We have installed our CF 5 on the new machine running Windows 2003.
We are in the process of migrating sites to the new server.
However, we've had a number of instances wherein the CF Application
Server stops working (.cfm pages won't load). When we look in
Windows Services, it appears the service is running. However, if we
try to stop and re-start the service, it fails to respond. A reboot
of the machine gets things working again.
The latest incident occured yesterday. The CF server log
shows these two log entries:
Warning (thread ID 2956): A request exceeded the timeout. The
unresponsive thread count is up to 1. [file path]
Error (thread ID 2956): !! CFTrace::logThread(5476) has no
entry for thread 5476
Any help would be appreciated by this newbie.

Does your server shows "Server is busy" message if this
happens or the page does not load? Next time if this happens, check
the windows task manager to see the memory used by JRUN. If this is
high around 180,000, it could be some infinite loops or invalid
connections to the DB. May be checking your DB settings could
resolve the problem. -

The service is guarded by an AAD OWIN middleware and is registered in AAD.
If I try to consume the service, a popup appears which allows me to login, but after login I get the following error:

You can also test the issue in Safe mode.
If it can boot into Safe mode, please update any driver has yellow warning on it, also check if the dump file is existing under %SystemRoot%\, if so, please help to post back for our research.

We have some problems with our Root CA. I can se a lot of failed requests. with the event id 22: in the logs. The description is: Active Directory Certificate Services could not process request 3686 due to an error: The revocation function was unable to
check revocation because the revocation server was offline. 0x80092013 (-2146885613). The request was for CN=xxxxx.ourdomain.com. Additional information: Error Verifying Request Signature or Signing Certificate
A couple of months ago we decomissioned one of our old 2003 DCs and it looks like this server might have had something to do with the CA structure but I am not sure whether this was in use or not since I could find the role but I wasn't able to see any existing
configuration.
Let's say that this server was previously responsible for the certificates and was the server that should have revoked the old certs, what can I do know to try and correct the problem?

let me recap first:
you see these errors on a ROOT CA. so it seems like the ROOT CA is also operating as an ISSUING CA. Some clients try to issue a new certificate from the ROOT CA and this fails with your error mentioned.
do you say that you had a PREVIOUS CA which you decomissioned, and you now have a brand NEW CA, that was built as a clean install? When you decommissioned the PREVIOUS CA, that was your design decision to don't bother with the current certificates that it
issued and which are still valid, right?
The error says, that the REQUEST signature cannot be validated. REQUESTs are signed either by itself (self-signed) or if they are renewal requests, they would be signed with the previous certificate which the client tries to renew. The self-signed REQUESTs
do not contain CRL paths at all.
So this implies to me as these requests that are failing are renewal requests. Renewal requests would contain CRL paths of the previous certificates that are nearing their expiration.
As there are many such REQUEST and failures, it probably means that the clients use AUTOENROLLMENT, which tries to renew their current, but shortly expiring, certificates during (by default) their last 6 weeks of lifetime.
As you decommissioned your PREVIOUS CA, it does not issue CRL anymore and the current certificates cannot be checked for validity.
Thus, if the renewal tries to renew them by using the NEW CA, your NEW CA cannot validate CRL of the PREVIOUS CA and will not issue new certificates.
But it would not issue new certificates anyway even if it was able to verify the PREVIOUS CA's CRL, as it seems your NEW CA is completely brand new, without being restored from the PREVIOUS CA's database. Right?
So simply don't bother :-) As long as it was your design to decommission the PREVIOUS CA without bothering with its already issued certificates.
The current certificates which autoenrollment tries to renew cannot be checked for validity. They will also slowly expire over the next 6 weeks or so. After that, autoenrollment will ask your NEW CA to issue a brand new certificate without trying to renew.
Just a clean self-signed REQUEST.
That will succeed.
You can also verify this by trying to issue a certificate on an affected machine manually from Certificates MMC.
