Dashboard in telesales-ebusiness centre

In oracle telesales-e business centre- dash board(Next to overview tab), by default
1.Leads
2.Opportunity
3.Quotes
4.order
5.service
6.task
are getting populated. I wanted to keep Leads & task in the dashboard.
How to set this dashboard in the e-business centre

OK. You can do this
1. In the Dashboard Groups tab Create a new group called "Test Sales Group"
2.From the categories section move Lead and Opportunities to the Dashboard Categories
3. Save
4.Go to Checks
5. From Category select Leads and add all the profile checks you want to display in dashboard
6. Same with opportunity
7. Now go to Preferences tab
8.Query for eBusiness Center and add the dashboard value from Step 1
9. Save

Lion Kernel Panics - will an erase and install help?

Since upgrading to Lion and iCloud I have been experiencing kernel panics on my Macmini. I'm currently troubleshooting and believe I have concluded that the my USB or Firewire attached drives (a WD My Book 2TB and a Drobo 2G respectively) are not the cause (because the kernal panics still happen when these are disconnected and not powered on). I am discounting that RAM is issue for now, because this hasn't changed since I bought the Mini in 2010.
So my investigations are focusing on software - I've already uninstalled several apps which I have read may cause issues (Logmein and WD RAID manager). I have also tried using Lion Cache Cleaner (LCC) but this in itself seems to be causing kernel panics, particulalry when using Clam AV to virus check the home and download directories. I've experienced 2 kernal panics using LCC (always at the Clam AV step) so I've given up on that.
I've tried looking at the panic logs but I can't interpret them, so I'm thinking my last option is to completely wipe my Mini hard drive and do a fresh install of Lion and rebuild my system from the ground up. Given the lack of success with my troubleshooting, and the fact that I installed Lion on top of Snow Leopard in the first instance, leads me to believe this is the safest option.
Is this the best approach or is there anything else I should try first? I have a clone and my data is backed up.

So out of the three issues I did the following:
com.DataRobotics.driver.iSCSIInitiator - I followed a procedure provided by Drobo support to completely erase and then reinstall the latest Lion Drobo Dashboard
com.Logitech.Control Centre.HID Driver - I ugraded to the latest Lion version
com.iospirit.driver.rbiokithelper - I couldn't actually find this in the location expected (~/Library/Preferences/) or anywhere else in my library for that matter. I think it was an app I must have deleted some time ago (Remote Buddy). So I downloaded the latest version of Remote Buddy for Lion, thinking that I could install and then unistall that to remove the driver. However, I did find the following kext which I removed (/System/Library/Extensions/RBIOKitHelper.kext)
I decided this was enough so I retested everything by running a complete TimeMachine backup. Unfortunately I got another kernel panic this morning. From the log below it looks like the Logitech driver has updated. The datarobitics (Drobo) driver looks the same but I'm assuming this is ok for now as I completely reinstalled it, so that leaves me with com.iospirit.driver.rbiokithelper as the culprit. I've just got to find the d*mn thing to delete it!! When I do I'll try a backup again, and failing that, erase and install Lion.
Obviously I can't really interpret the error log, but is there anything else which may be causing the issue?

CRM E-business Centre dashboard to have information on Marketing Campaigns

Please tell me if CRM E-business Centre dashboard can have information on Marketing Campaigns and customer responses; is this requirement possible without customization?

In 11.5.10.2, it displays Marketing Campaigns, however, this is just for informational purpose. No responses are shown with standard functionality

I hope you have implemented Oracle Order Management. If so, there is a self service application called Order Information Portal (OIP) that comes with Order Management. The responsibility required for this is Order Information Super User. This application gives you the details of the orders including quote number, order number, order details, lines, shipments and invoice. This application is built in OA Framework and can be "personalized" to hide the field that are not required. This can be done without any code change.

OBIEE Interactive Dashboards - Need help

Hi,
I have series of requests in my current OBIEE project which I have listed below. Appreciate any help.
1. On my Interactive dashboard, I am displaying reports as links under various sections. On clicking each link a report opens in a new window. Is it possible to display the name of the report as the window title ?
2. Is it possible to display the interactive dashboard which I get by clicking the dashboard Menu link like HR, procurement and Spend on a new window ?
3. when I open a report by clicking the link on the dashboard page and then by leaving the report open in a new window, I close the dashboard page and reopen the dashboard from a new window why does the page default to the last opened report rather than showing the dashboard page. For eg., I have a report link "A" on My Dashboard page. After opening the report A in a new window I close the dashboard page. Now I open a new browser window and login to answers. After I login, instead of showing "My Dashboard" page, the dashboard opens with the Report A. Only after clicking the my Dashboard menu link I am navigated to the My Dashboard page. How can I navigate to the dashboard page on login rather than the last opened report page.
4. Last but not the least, when I login to BI Answers I am navigated to EBusiness page, where I see a "Logout" link. But when I choose a responsibility and navigate to Interactive dashboards page the logout link is no longer available. I am logging in as "Administrator". How can I get back the "logout" link.

New employee organization hierarchy version in HRMS doubles dashboard totals in OBIEE

On creation of a new version of the Employee Organization hierarchy, some of the OBIEE dashboards & analyses that were oracle seeded function show ...
Total Employee headcount = total employee headcount from hierarchy ver 1 + total emp headcount hierarchy ver 2
Which is incorrect and misleading in the reports. (Similar issues for FTE..... )
Firstly, is this normal ----- or has the versioning been implemented incorrectly, or is there missing aggregation at the Ebusiness, BI rpd or dashboard level?
Secondly, what is the best solution to display the relevant hierarchy based on the report dates?
If there is further aggregation needed, how can this be added without needing to update it every time a new employee organization hierarchy version is copied?

What is the Dashboard? Is it something that works only thru Business Catalyst?
<rant> Why can't Adobe write a proper manual? And why can't Adobe give hyperlinks to its own help centres and to this forum? It took me five minutes to find this place? Every time I want to learn something I have to spend five minutes trying to remember how to get to the forum to ask it. Then I forget what I was going to ask. Most times when I want to know something about an Adobe program, I just Google it. There are all kinds of helpful people on the 'net who kindly explain all kinds of things about Adobe programs that Adobe can't seem to explain for itself. Doesn't give me much faith in Adobe's ability to write programs. None, in fact. I hate Adobe. Especially Illustrator, but everything else. I wish there were alternatives to Adobe but there aren't. So I'm just going to have express my frustration to users of this group. Sorry about that. I know I should just grow up, but I can't help myself. Not sure what your Muse question is but like all Adobe products they have a link to help documents and to the forums right in the help menu in the program itself. Not sure how much easier they can make it?

Try trashing apple.com.dashboard.plist from preference library and restarting Mac.
Quit all applications.
Open Finder- Click the left most icon on the Dock.
Holding option key click the Go menu from the menu bar.
Select Library and then Preference folder.
Select apple.com.dashboard.plist and move it to trash.
Restart Mac.

Including Invoice Tab into Ebusiness Center form from services to sales

Hi,
I have a customer issue where in I need to demonstrate how to include the invoice tab (available in contact center form) into ebusiness center form.
My intention is to display Quote,Order & Invoice tabs in the same application.
I found Quote & Order in Ebusiness center (Telesales) and
Order & Invoice tabs in contact center (Teleservices).
But, I want all 3 in eigther in ebusiness center or in contact center.
Apps Version : 11.5.10 R3.
Module : Telesales
1. Is it possible to do as requested.
2.If yes, which is the easiest way to do so?

SOLVED:Strange behaviour:request shows results in Answers not in dashboard

Hi all,
I've come across somethings very strange, which I know has to do with the lowest level of detail of my organisation hierarchy (and the keys used at that level), but I cant understand why its doing the following:
I have a table in a dashboard that can receive 'is prompted' filter values from a prompt on the same dashboard. When i created this request in answers, for test reasons i gave it values for a "centre" (lowest level of the organization hierarchy), and it displays resultos for my metrics.
Now I place this request on a dashboard. I have removed my manual test filters, and left the four organization columns of the request as "is prompted", the lowest of these being the centre value. Now in the dashboard, i decide to enter a value directly for the centre dropdown (same value as i previously tested) in my prompt...i get no results found!!!
The lowest level of this prompt has a key made of two atributes (center and center code), this allows me to "drill down" from the centre to the centre code, although centre code is at the same level. If i remove the drilldown capability, the problem is solved...im not quite sure why.

The problem was with the actual data. WHen analyzing the query that was being done, i realised that one of the keys (the centre name) was using a text field that has spaces after the name of the centre (god knows why), so using a trim resolved the issue.
I guess the other configuration was using the centre id which was not encountering the above problem.

Place your Prompts and Text(Clear Button ie. Dashboard object) is near to Prompts and both this in the same Section.
or other wise Edit your dashboard and Place the reports in one column and Clear button is in other columns.

Site_name on telesales

you don't. you may programmatically disable/invisible some tabs per user permission. Or check Oracle app, it may have such a library procedure to let you configure it.

Telesales Interaction External URL

Hi All,
Does anybody have experience in using the JTF_PUB APIS to create interaction history records and can help me with the following:
I understand the use of media item records to 'Punch Out' to associated eBusiness Suite documents (i.e. Emails in email Centre), but is it possible to create interactions that 'Punch Out' to an external URL???
I understand this might be a fairly heavy extension but the business reason for this is to create interactions that reference documents in an external document management system (i.e. white mail, scanned documents).

I'm not sure I quite follow your code, but in general you cannot create executable code from a string after the page has loaded. This is a security precaution to prevent compromised remote content from executing malicious code.
You can work out a way to create the needed items without using eval() or innerHTML. i.e. by using DOM methods to create the needed elements and then use addEventListener() to hook up the event handlers. You can also map the content into a non-application sandbox so that it is not subject to this restriction (it also won't have access to the AIR APIs).
