Deployment operation was not completed within timeout
I use Eclipse 3.3 and WLS 10. If i deploy my EAR to the server after 5min i get the following error in plugin "com.bea.workshop.wls.core":
"Deployment operation was not completed within timeout. State Type : running; Command Type : distribute; Action Type : execute; Completed : false; Failed : false; Message : null; Exception : null"
The timeout ist just in the eclipse-plugin , the deplyoment on the server runs to end but the application ist not activated.
Anyone has solved this problem?

The timeout happens every time when i deploy the ear the first time to the server and the stubs are generated and compiled.
it is funny that last info before timeout-error 'publishing finished' comes while wls is in full action compiling the myprojEjbEntity-module.

2.0 - 0x803d0006 - The Operation Did not complete within the time allotted
I integrated MBAM 2.0 into ConfMgr 2012 SP1 on Srv2008R2 & SQL 2008R2 box. All MBAM components lying on the same server. Network is encrypted, using https, clients and server have certificates from inside PKI.
- Manual encryption attempt with MBAM client fails ends with "An error has occurred". During this, there is no error codes anywhere.
- During automatic triggering of MBAM client, 0x803d0006 comes up into event viewer.
- Laptops are partitioned with extra Bitlocker partition as they should be
- Laptops are able to communicate with
MBAMRecoveryAndHardwareService/CoreService.svc
- Group Policies are applied with necassary MBAM settings. Reporting point is disabled because ConfMgr integration takes care of that.
- During the error on a client side, I don´t see any logs in event viewer on a server sideI solved this By creating GPO policies only via MBAM node. Previously I had a mixup with policies, because I had configured Bitlocker Encryption policies also. With MBAM, only MBAM´s own policies should be configured.
So this error massage is occured only because of GPO conflict. I also noticed, that you can easily mix up things with MBAM´s policies also, if configuring different encryption settings and causing conflict between them (like encryption package, keys etc).
So if you don´t know, what you are doing (like me, hehe), leave encryption polices as default.

New problem again, This operation could not completed as there's no video
I don' t understand what is the problem, I work with FCP 6.0 and Quicktime 7.4.1 very well until today, when I tray to capture from DV devices ( note that the capture window says PREVIEW DISABLED , but I can remote the camera, mark tc in , out FFW REW etc, message VTR IS OK) The capture is aborted with this message THIS OPERATION COULD NOT COMPLETED AS THERE IS NO VIDEO, when I tray to capture from JVC PRO HD there is no problem. ANY IDEAS????? I'm not work whit another FCP version because with other version there is a problem with JVC PRO HD DEVICES . I note that I'm not the only one with this problem, another curiosity is that at this mooring I capture a tape without a problem but with the second tape start the problem when I thread the tape. Who is possible that the problems are like a miscellanies problem. In the system profile the Camera and vcr dv appears connected to the mac. The fire wire is ok.
<Edited by Moderator>Hi of course I use the correct easy setup,Ii tray with different cameras, vcr's, vtr's, dv , Dvcam, I tray with different fire wire etc. Note that "IMOVIE" capture material without problem, same tape, this problem is affected to other people, included me , but for week i no have this problem with FCP 6.0 and Quicktime 7.4.1 this problem starting to day in the middle of the batch capture, the first tape was captured , but in the second tape start the message, WAITING FOR TIME CODE, THE DEVICE MUST SET IN VTR MODE, of course that this two things are ok, and appears then message "This operation could not completed as there's no video" Note that quicktime pro is unable to capture material from DV device too. Imovie work OK with the same camera and vtr and the same tape. The problem is quicktime and FCP.

In my deployment I have 2 brokers, and 3 session hosts. I finally installed Update 1 and all following updates available (the ones that were available about two weeks before). Also updated Forefront to v4.3 (SCCM managed).
I have roaming TS profiles enabled with folder redirection and also policy set to "delete local copy of roaming profiles" after logout. Profile folders are on a network share (Server 2003). Things were working ok until Update 1 and rest of updates
got installed.
I started getting events 1509 and 1504 when users logoff and the screen displays "Your roaming profile was not completely synchronized" message briefly. The only file affected so far is ntuser.pol.
There are two variations of the event, one claiming it cannot write the local server copy to fileshare, and the opposite, from file share to c:\users\username.

Permissions have not changed. The only thing changing is the Updates installed on the servers. I tried running with AV realtime protection off, no change. Ntuser.pol is already on the exclude list in Forefront.
This is happening on my test server and 2 prd servers. Any ideas. I looked for related hotfixes but not coming up with anything.

When a roaming profile user logs off, the NTuser.dat file is always updated on the roaming profile share. The corresponding NTuser.pol file is only updated if the timestamp of the local copy that was created at logon is newer than the copy found in the roaming
profile share. A synchronization problem may occur if a user with a roaming profile logs on to multiple client computers at the same time. This can eventually cause policy settings to be applied incorrectly.
For example, if the Group Policy loopback feature is applied on one of the client computers, the NTuser.dat file on the roaming profile share may contain loopback policy settings that are not present in the NTuser.pol file. If this problem occurs, the loopback
policy settings that are targeted at one client computer may be unexpectedly applied to a user who logs on to a different client computer.
So please check the permission or group policy which you have applied and also whether you are performing multiple connection at a time.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Distribution version 1124206935184 was not completely received by this subscriber server
We've got 9 subscriber servers, and 1 central distribution server. We're in
the process of rolling out all our new applications for XPSP2, so I have set
all the existing distributions to inactive, with only the SP2 tested
applications set active.
I've set up a distribution to deploy out 4 applications, and it's working
fine to 8 of the 9 subscribers. One subscriber is giving me the not
completely received error.
I've closed down ZfS on the subscriber, deleted the directories to force it
back out, and I still get the same error. I've even deleted the distribution
from the distributer (and also the subscribers) to force it to rebuild, but
I am still getting this error on just the one server.
I can't seem to find anything in the KB about this type of error, other than
delete/recreate/repush... Has anyone else seen this, and if so, did you find
a solution?

ThanksYou can use iCloud with 10.7.5. You do not need to upgrade to Yosemite. You should provide a minimum of 15 GBs of free space or 10% of the hard drive's capacity, whichever is greater.
Freeing Up Space on The Hard Drive
1. See Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks' Storage Display.
2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
4. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.
5. See Where did my Disk Space go?.
6. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located. -
I have pre ordered books, when available download was not completed, it now shows book in library but indicates " paused" i have gone back to store and purchased tab and tried to download again but it is not allowing?

Welcome to the Apple community.
A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature)
Rentals should appear under their own heading in the ‘Movies’ feature, you might also check at Settings > iTunes Store > Check For Rentals. -
Error installing DS 4.0: "previous operation did not complete"
When I try to install DS 4.0 I get the following error:
Installer has detected that a previous operation did not complete. Do you want to resume?
I had previously installed Information Platform Services 4.0 but the install crashed. Now I am unable to uninstall IPS and I can't install anything else. ( trying to uninstall IPS from Programs and Features just blinks and then doesn't do anything)

1. Go to folder C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\InstallData
2. Under this file you'll find "InstallManifest.sqlite" file. You need to open this file through SQLite editor. You can download it https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/sqlite-manager/ as an add-on to your firefox.
3. There are 13 tables in this database. Go to "DUTransaction" table. You will see "Committed" column change the value if there is any zero 0 value to 1.
4. Save and close the file.
5. Restart your installation.

We are trying to convert a physical windows 2003 R2 32 bit server to a VM using VMM 2008 R2 with all updates installed. Each time when we scan the system on VMM, it gets this message: Error (2901) The operation did not complete successfully because of
a parameter or call sequence that is not valid. (The parameter is incorrect (0x80070057)). If I use disk2vhd.exe to convert only C drive, I get parameter is incorrect. Any ideas?

Why installation was not completed
My OS is WINXP_32bit SP3 (latest update installed: May, 2014).
I installed the trial version of CS 6 and I also went online and
visited the official website.
However, after the installation, I received an information saying that
some items of this product were not successfully installed (Au Fl Ai
Ps Dw Fw Id Pl).
After I executed dreamweaverfm, the following message showed up:
“This application cannot be run for MSVCR100.DLL is not found.
Reinstalling the application may help resolve this problem.”
My questions are listed below:
1. I followed all the rules during the installation, how come the
installation was not completed?
2. How come the application could not be run?
3. I have another computer with win7 32-bit and I installed the trial
version of adobe cs6 master on it. The installation was successful
(except for some software that can only be installed on a 64-bit
system) and the application can be run without problems. Then I
installed the trial version of adobe cs6 master on the third computer
(win7 64-bit). The problem described in #1 happened, while that in #2
didn’t. Why is that?
