I have created the Brand discount condition Type and assigned in the pricing procedure. Here we maintained seperate GL account for the brand discount.
we are providing the disconts material wise. Please let us know any standard report to fetch the value or % given to a particular brand (Product Hirerchy) from all the invoices

You can have it using two tables not directly. YOu have to extract the values to xls sheet and then doa VLOOKUP to compare.
From VBRK, get the value of the field VBRK-KNUMV
Now go to KONV, give VBRK-KNUMV value as KONV-KNUMV and give your discount condition type as KONV-KSCHL.
And execute the query. You can get the values of the c.type from values KONV-KNUMV, KONV-KPOSN, KONV-KSCHL, KONV-KWERT and KONV-KBERT
Also, go to VBRP give the invoice number and get VBRP-VBELN, VBRP-MATNR, VBRP-POSNR, VBRP-PRODH
Now combine these three xls sheets to get the discount % and values given for each material and product hierarchy using vlookup functionality in xls sheet. You can use the following fields as common fields
VBRK-VBELN = VBRP-VBELN
VBRP-POSNR = KONV-KPOSN
VBRK-KNUMV = KONV-KNUMV
Using these three common fields, you can get all the values you want.

Hi,
The default behavior of the sap b1 is that if you have set the discount account in the gl determination.
The discount percentage given in the AP invoice or AR invoice will not post the discount to gl which has been set in the gl determination.
Inorder to post the discount amount to the gl set in the gl determination screen you have to give the discount percentage in the Outgoing payment screen for AP invoices or in the Incoming payment screen for AR invoices.
Hope if you follow the method as described above it will accomplish your requirement.

Marking Field Mandatory Based on a particular Product Selection

Hi All,
I have a different requirement, when I select a particular product names from the product picklist I have to make another field as mandatory. I dont have dynamic layouts to do this option.
Is there anyway where I can make a field as mandatory based on a value selection from another picklist field?

Hi, If the product ID = 1,2 or 3 and if the mandatory field is not filled set an internal field value to 1 using default field value and write a validation rule on that internal field forcing the user to fill in mandatory field. Extend the same using workflow using update field operation. Hope it helps

Other Charges on total before discount value

Hi Experts,
I faced an issue while generating sales quotation, apart from tax code we need to put other charges on the total before discount value of the documents like UT charges,P&F charges, Tarnsit Insurance and TPI Charges.
However these other charges percentage are variable in nature it depend upon the customer to customer(C2C).
Please put some light on this major issue of sales process.

Hi Amit,
In the lines of the quotation there is only place for 3 sorts of freight charges, but I think this will be the most easy to use for you.
At first you have to setup your freight charges: Administration > General Settings > General > Freight
Define your different charges there, so you can use them in the sales quotation.
After you have done that, you can open the sales quotation and take a look at the freight charges that is displayed under the document discount. If you click on the golden arrow, you can see the defined freight costs and give in the ammounts.
You can also do this in the lines, open the form settings for the sales quotation and make the freight costs visible in table format. It is possible to make formatted searches on these colums.
I have one question remaining at this moment: Do you want to see the extra costs on the lay-out?

My client requirement is to get a report for Stock Quantity & Stock Value at vendor on a Particular Date .
Please give suggestions to get the stock & value in tables or Any standard T.codes

HI,
we can get this report thru SAP standard without vendor selection, do the following steps
1. goto MB5B
2. Give plant /material details
3. give selection date
4. select stock type option as special stock
5. select special stoct indicator as "O" for material provided to vendor
excute the same , you will get a report with qty and value posted for the vendor from the plant
here by copying this standard program we can add one more input parameter as vendor, then we can get this report vendorwise also.

Discount value not updating at contract header level

Dear Friends
I am facing problem of updating discount value at contract header level. The scenario is u2026. my client used to provide certain service to their customer. For that they maintain quantity contract & bill them as per billing plan. When customer avail three or more services they get 10% extra discount. Now the problem is after continue for some days if some customer wants to drop one item we are cancelling the line item by assigning proper cancellation procedure but the system is not reversing the 10% discount.
Example u2013
Contract valid for 1st Jan 2009 to 31st Dec 2010(Value for each service = 10)
(Total no of item-3)
(Discount-10%)
Here bill value for each month is 10x3-(30x0.10) =27
At the month of march 2009 customer decided to drop for one item so hence forth the bill value should be 10x2=20
But the system is calculating 10x2-(20x0.10)=18
We need to update the value at contract header level only to satisfy some CRM functionality.
Please suggest how to solve this issue

If that is item condition then you can not change it at header level
check in M/06 make it at header level in change which can be made tab

Need help regarding Business rule scenario "How to populate data in "Target Form (plantype2)" from "Source Form(plantype1)" for a particular product/currency dimension combination selected in form1"
Scenario 1) : I have data for Product(Computer)/Currency(USD) dimension combination in Source Form
When i open Target Form and then select a Product(Computer)/Currency(USD) combination and then right click on form to invoke a Business rule to get data for this same product/currency combination from Source Form.
Scenario 2) : If there isnt any data in Source Form for product(Computer)/Currency(USD) combination, then the data for product(computer)/Currency(Default Currency) to be populated into Target Form.
The members in Currency Dimension (Shared Dimension) are USD & Default Currency.
Can anyone please help.

You can either write a Business Rule / Calculation script with @XREF function and also you can check condition if there is data in USD then populate USD else "Default currency"
If you want that data in source to be available in target, then you can use @XWRITE in a rule from source cube to push the data to Target.

Discount value not showing in the P.O printout

Hi,
I have created a Service p.o with 5 line items,i have entered the condition type RA01 = 10 % for all the items,
But in the P.O printout the discount value is showing only for the first 2 line items , the value is not showing for the balance 3 line items.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

if the same condition type is used for previous two line items, then this is ABAP issue. May be smartform coding is restricting to print the value for more than 2 line items. Can you seat with ABAP and check.

Report to show shift wise activities for particular product

Hi, Is there any report exists to show shift wise activities carried on particular product, basically time taken,man/machine utilization,in-process rejection,machine break down etc.? how to generate the same.

This report is something called as workcenter's performance report or as plant performance report.
In standard SAP again CO28 or COOIS or MCP7 or MCPH can be used.
But still in your case only a customized report can fulfill your requirement.

Usually this error comes if you try to do a forward or redirect when response is already committed i.e. when something has already been sent back to the client browser you can't do a redirect.
Sometimes this can happen when there is another error in your application which triggers the application server to redirect to the error page (if you cave configured one) but the response might already have been committed. Try to enable loggingDebug on /atg/dynamo/servlet/dafpipeline/VirtualContextRootInterceptor and see if you can get more information about any possible error in the logs.

Decimal Value for Percentage distribution on Account Assignement in SES

Dear Experts,
While creating service entry, the qty should be distributed on percentage basis for Account assignment with decimal value.
For Example
Say Service 100% done but value is 10,000..but there is distribution to different cost center say K, L , M, N
K - 21.25% - value 2125
L - 32.70% - value 3270
M - 28.93% - value 2893
N - 17.22% - value 1722
So i need to customize decimal values for Percentage distribution for Service entry sheet creation. Please advice me, if you know the solution for this

In Transaction CUNI, as lot is a created Unit of measure wuth no dimensions select No Dimensions & continue
Now change the decimal places for the Unit from3 to 5.
In the service entry sheet you will be able to maintain the lot upto 5 decimals....
But there is again aproblem in that as the standard field Quantity MENGE has only 3 decimal places allowed, so agian you will encounter a problem.
So the best method to follow is advise the user to go for a 3 decimal reounding off the work.
Hope you understand the Problems that arise when decimal places are changed we need to take a lot of things into considertaion before going forward

Pie chart value and percentage

is it possible to show both value and percentage when holding mouse cursor over the pie chart?
I find there is no option for it.

Your requirement is to show the legends and data values at a time (when mouse rollover the pie chart)
Chart View -->Select the Graph as PIE then the Advance properties is enabled
In Advance Properties ( Start symbol ) click on that you will get chart type special and select show the labels and label values. Let me know if this is not the solution
