Downpayment  and then invoice (milestone)

Dear Frnds,
I have a few issues working with billing plan............pls do assist
I am currently using Milestone billing plan for customer transactions. The client  billing plan has booking amount, next installment and Final instalmenl after 50 days from booking.
They want  to show all payments as advance and then at the end when there is transfer of possesssion they want to generate the invoice.  I have the following issues
1) When the line item is due I create a down payment request ......but now the problem is when i try to create a invoice it says account posting not reqd( not picking up the values in invoice)
2) The client gives receipt when a downpayment is received......is there a standard tat can be used or it will have to be generated.
I think i need to make changes in the billing plan -
firstly  because the billing date is not the invoice date and secondly because when i create the downpayment req status changes to completed ....soo there is sme problem but i dont knw what is to be done
Regards
maddy

plss do try and responddd ...thnks for ur time

  • Difference between Downpayment and normal invoice in updating BSEG table

    Hi,
I created 2 different documents, 1 invoice via FB60 and 1 downpayment request between F-47.
After which i perform a payment run via F110 on both documents and i realised that the bank account id for the document created via F-47 is not updated in the field HBKID for the BSEG table. However, HBKID is updated for the invoice created via FB60.
I would like to if this is correct or if there is any config i need to perform for the HBKID field to be updated for document created via F-47.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Please, look at the following note 524942. It should solve your problem...

  • Display and use Invoice Percentg in POC on Milestones.

    Hi Expert
Does anyone know is it possible?
We use PS and POC in Milestones.
Invoice Percentg is now displaied and triggered by Percentage, like if it is 60%, it is supposed to be chargeable.
Then, it is possible making it triggered by not percentage but sum of money.
    Thanks
    Shinya

    Hi Shinya,
in Sales document you can use amount to be billed against milestone confirmation.
    thanks

Is there a way to sort a PDF file with multiple pages by a specific field within the PDF? All pages have the same invoice format and i would like to sort by a field within and then print the documents. (Vendor, PO#, Date, ect.)

When you say field, do you mean specifically a form field, such as a text field? Or is the information regular text on the page?

  • Difference between downpayment and Milestone billing

    Dear Guru's
can anyone tell me what is the difference between downpayment and milestone billing. And also tell me anyother things are there in this process.
    regards,

    hi
Milestone billing is typically used for billing projects, such as plant engineering and construction projects. Such projects often include a series of milestones that mark the completion of different stages of the work. In the SAP R/3 System, milestones are defined in a network along with planned and actual dates for the completion of work. The milestones are also assigned to the billing dates in the billing plan. Each milestone-related billing date is blocked for processing until the Project System confirms that the milestone is completed.
Delivery-relevant order items for which a milestone billing plan applies are billed on the basis of the requested delivery quantity and not on the total of the confirmed quantities.

  • Prepayment request and final invoice

Can anyone help with a question about posting payments to a prepayment request and then reconciling the final invoice. We create a sales order and then a prepayment request for 100% of the sales order. The customer then pays for the goods. We put in the payment under the incoming payment screen against the prepayment invoice. This then closes the prepayment request.
We then ship the goods to the customer creating a delivery note from the sales order. Then we create a final invoice for the customer. All OK so far I think. Then the help page tells me to go again to the incoming payment screen, select the business partner and then select the prepayment invoice and the final invoice and all will be OK. BUT we cannot add the incoming payment because we get a message " Confirmation amount must be > zero".
What are we doing wrong. We have tried to do a standard reconciliation in the banking module, but this leaves a double posting amount in the VAT account.

By Pre Payment I believe you are referring to Down Payment Invoice.  After you have processed an Incoming Payment for the Downpayment invoice there is no need to go to the Incoming Payment again to reconcile the downpayment.
You would link the downpayment from the AR Invoice itself.  Please read this document https://websmp107.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_FRAME=CONTAINER&_OBJECT=011000358700000738282007E

  • Copy AR  Downpayment request to Invoice

    Hi,
How to Copy AR  Downpayment request to Invoice.
    Rgds
    Rajeev

    Hi,
You cannot link the Down Payment Request in Invoice.  You can link the A/R Downpayment Invoice to the A/R Invoice.
You prepare the A/R Invoice and save it. While registering the Incomming Payments you can view the A/R Downpayment Request payment and then the A/R Invoice Payment amount. The Down Payment Request amount will be negative since the payment is already registered.
While making the A/R Invoice Payment select the A/RInvoice row and also the A/R Down Payment Request row in the Incoming Payments window.
Now, you can prepare Invoice payment for the Balance amount.
I hope this could help you to solve the problem.

    SIRI

    Hi,
you can use the same query...Also check the new code after the select..
    SELECT BUKRS BELNR GJAHR <b>BSTAT</b>
    FROM BKPF
    INTO TABLE T_BKPF
    WHERE BUKRS = P_BUKRS
    AND BSTAT IN ( ' ' , 'A' ) " ' ' - Normal document, A - Parked doc
    AND BLART = P_BLART
AND CPUDT IN SO_CPUDT " Selection screen input.
    IF NOT T_BKPF[] IS INITIAL.
SELECT BUKRS BELNR GJAHR BUZEI EBELN AUGBL AUGBT
    INTO TABLE T_BSEG
    FOR ALL ENTRIES IN T_BKPF
    WHERE BUKRS = T_BKPF-BUKRS
    AND BELNR = T_BKPF-BELNR
    AND GJAHR = T_BKPF-GJAHR
    AND EBELN IN SO_EBELN " selection-screen input
    ENDIF.
    LOOP AT T_BKPF.
    Parked
      IF T_BKPF-BSTAT = 'A'.
        WRITE: / T_BKPF-BELNR , ' - Parked'.
    process the next record.
        CONTINUE.
      ENDIF.
    Check for Open / Closed.
      LOOP AT T_BSEG WHERE BELNR = T_BKPF-BELNR
                                   AND      BUKRS = T_BKPF-BUKRS
                                   AND      GJAHR = T_BKPF-GJAHR
                                   AND      AUGBL <> ' '.
        EXIT.
      ENDLOOP.
If the return code is 0 then the document is cleared..
      IF sy-subrc = 0.
        WRITE: / T_BKPF-BELNR , ' - Closed'.
Else the document is not cleared.
      ELSE.
        WRITE: / T_BKPF-BELNR , ' - Open'.
      ENDIF.
    ENDLOOP.
    Thanks,

  • FBL5N Review Open and Cleared Invoices per Customer

WHen one of our users goes into FBL5N to review open and cleared invoices he adds the WBS and the Profit Center. When the report runs it is blank. I looked at the invoice itself and the WBS and Profit center is on the invoice but I don't know why it doesn't show up on the report. Can anyone tell me why this happens? Do I need to make any kind of adjustment before running the report?
    Thanks

I looked at the VF03 and there is a WBS and Profit Center on the Invoice. If this report shows Open and Cleared invoices then it should bring what is on the invoice in the report but doesn't.
I had someone email me this response"
    Hi linda,
For your info, The reason why profit center and WBS element blank in report FBL5N is, this report purposely used to display subledger account. When me made a posting, balance sheet account is not require
cost object.Only PNL account require cost object.
    Regards,
    Abdul
I would like to know what other report in SAP shows open and cleared invoices with the Profit Center and WBS?

Did you know that Verizonwireless is saving your checking account information when you pay your bill by check and then making it part of your "MyVerizon"  without you adding it? This means of course if they get hacked that information could be compromised. What do you think of this?

Credit card and debit card and checking and savings information is encrypted so it is possible to be hacked, but the odds are greater to get hit by the Love Boat then to have a wide scale hack.
Oh yes they do happen, Bank of America, Chase, Citibank, Target and quite a few others. But in all the years I have paid my invoice with saved card information I never been hacked.
You use good passwords and the risk is minimal.
    Good Luck

  • Goods Reciept PO and AP Invoice Contain Different Balance Due Totals.

The scenario is that if we create a Goods Receipt PO for 06/07/2010 and then the next day (07/07/2010)  copy to a AP Invoice the Totals and Balance Due are the same BUT if we then change the posting date back a day u2013 to the same date as the original Goods Receipt PO the values change. The unit prices remain the same but the Total (LC) change? This leads to us having to manually change the lines but on a 10-15 line invoice that is rather tedious.
We have no UDVs set up and this does not happen on all invoices.
Where would we start looking ? What could cause these changes ?
    Thanks,
    MB

    Hi Carl,
Is the BP a Local, Multi or Foreign Currency BP?
Are any of the line prices in a foreign currency? Even if the BP in the document is local currency BP, if the item price is in a foreign currency it will change the line total and hence the doctotal in local currency if the rate changes for the second day.
    Hope it helps,
    Jesper

  • 2007B AR downpayment request (no invoice) acct setup for Payment Advance

I compared 2007A and 2007B.  In 2007B there has AR downpayment REQUEST not invoice and the Admin>Setup>Financials>GL Account Determination>tab Sales there is no "Payment Advance" account field need to be setup like 2007A.
I found it from GL Acct Determination, Sales, General, ..... button there has 3 account types (Down Payments receivables #11000, Bill of Exchange Accounts Receivable and Open Debts).  I tried to edit the Down Payments Reeivables from #11000 AR to #24400 Customer Deposit but failed, why?  Whithout changing this to #24400 liability account there will be no JE generated automatically from B1 for this AR Downpayment Request (?? since no Invoice in 2007B).
Do I need to load the PL9 patch since I did not add any patch for 2007B yet and not sure the latest patch will do anything for this issue?  Any documentation for patch detail?

    Lily,
On the Incoming Payment screen, you need to click on the Payment Means (money bag) icon / right mouse click select payment means and confirm the amount.
Simply by opening the incoming payment and clicking Add will cause this error to be displayed.
    Correct Procedure is,
Select the Customer on the Incoming Payment window..Right mouse click and Select Payment Means / press CTRL+Y
In the Payment Means window, Amount column enter the Payment Amount 1000.00
    Click Ok
    Click Add

  • Migration of Revenue and Project Invoices

    Hi,
We are implementing Oracle Projects (Costing and Billing) but AR is already implemented and using since long. We are migrating Revenue and Invoice data for open projects.
For revenue migration, we are uploading summarized cost and generating revenue and will reverse the entry in GL.
For Billing : We are entering one billing event per project and generating Invoice and then interfacing it to AR. In AR, we are making invoice Incomplete and then deleting the invoice from AR transaction form. We want to understand, is this the correct approach?
    Regards,
    Kalpesh

    hi
Right click the Migrated wedynpro development component, Selece the Development component and select the deploy. If you have configured the j2ee engine , then the developed component will deployed to the j2ee engine

X Ltd. will be Vendor & Customer.
Purchase Invoice is booked under Vendor SAP number & Sales Invoice is booked under Customer SAP number. Then you can transfer amount from Vendor to Customer or vice versa with T-code F-04.
Then if you have transferred amount from customer to Vendor (F-04), Vendor account will have two entries Debit & Credit. Then go for clearance with T-code F-44 clear Vendor.
