Email Notifications Including Submitted Data

A lot of our clients use form central and allow users to attach images when filling out a form. This is great, however, when the email notification goes out it doesn't have the images in the email, just the filename of the image that was attached. Does FormCentral have any plans to change this functionality to include the image in the email? It would be greatly appreciated and allow us to recommend our clients use FormCentral a lot more.
Thank you.

Hi;
No, there are other higher priority features that customers ask about more often so this won't likely change soon.
Thanks,
Josh

    Is there a way to have the email notifications include the PDF form?

    Very Disappointing. You fill out a Form and you can't get the Form via E-Mail :-(
    Only the information you filled in in the empty fields.
    I designed a contract formular for customers.
    The customer fills out the PDF in the web form.
    Via E-Mail notification i get the infos the client entered in the form.
    But not the PDF itself.
    So i have to enter the web frontend search the data and download the filled in form from there.
    After downloading the form i have to e-mail the form to the customer and the mailing list by hand ...
    I would think that it is an obvious feature that you can e-mail copy of what is entered (together with the text of the formular!) as an pdf attachement and not only the entered fields ...
    Maybe someon can check this feature request. (Attach entered form as PDF to the notification E-Mail).
    It would also be great if you would have the possibility to enter an E-Mail Adress for CC insinde the formular :-)

  • Is it possible to have an email notification include a "downloaded" PDF

    I'm hoping to set up the email to include a fully filled out PDF (downloaded PDF as it's referred to within FormsCentral). This would be a great option and would allow me to set up an email to give a client access to the information in an easy to read format.
    Thanks!

    We don't support delivery of attachments with email notifications at this time. Additionally PDF forms submitted to Formscentral have their responses added to the response table within Formscentral. Based on your question it doesn't sound like there is an easy way to do this within Formscentral alone. If you were to use Acrobat and an email based workflow this would be possible.

    Hi,
    you can setup automated alert monitoring via CCMS, however I doubt there is automatic reporting of excel sheets.

  • Email Notification - User LogIn date

    Hi All,
    Our client has a requirement to send the email notification to the user if he has not logged in CRMOD for more than 2 days.
    Does anybody has worked on similar kind of request. Please guide
    Regards,
    S

    I'm not doing any homework. I am a beginner and have limited experience. I am using the MVC model 2 architecture and I'm not quite sure how to fit this business requirement in. I dont understand why some people automatically take this do your own hw attitude with beginners. Anyway
    Here's the situation:
    Im creating a simple Domain Registration app that stores information about registered domains and displays it. The issue is that I need to create a script that sends out an email when the domains expiration date is two weeks away. Of course I could have the application check the expiration date for each domain and then send an email depending on whether or not the exp date is two weeks away, but the issue is that I need to have it do this without having to do it manually. In other words, once I run the app, it should do a check for the exp dates in the database and set timers for the emails to go. I was looking at the Timer class but still don' t know where/when to start the timer.
    Im just asking for generic instructions on how to go about doing this. I dont need specific java answers because I know java. This is a logic and experience question more than anything else. I hope this helps but if anyone else wants to give it a shot and you need more info let me know and Ill do my best to give you as much of it as possible.

  • Auto Email notification based on data from Table

    I need to send a auto email notification based on the information updated on the table. Like when response table is updated as 90 for ( column users).A Email should automatically trigger to the different users listed in a table named (email).. I have stored the value of users in a table named response and the person to whom i need to be email has been stored in table name email.
    I'm using Oracle 10g Express edition
    Let me know how this can be done automically.

    Wrong forum...should be over in the Database Forum or PLSQL forum. You need to add a trigger to the table and the trigger needs to utilize the UTL_MAIL or UTL_SMTP packages. You can get more info on UTL_MAIL here or more info on UTL_SMTP here
    and here is some example code for a trigger:
    create or replace trigger my_trigger
    after insert or update
    on my_table
    for each row
      begin
       utl_mail.send(sender     => '[email protected]',
                     recipients => '[email protected],[email protected]',
                     cc         => '[email protected]',
                     bcc        => '[email protected]',
                     subject    => 'utl_mail test',
                     message    => 'if you get this message it worked!');
    end my_trigger;UTL_MAIL and UTL_SMTP may need some configuring before you use them, see the links above for details.

  • Send email notification including file name and description, when users upload files to particular sub-folders?

    In my site collection i have a document library and document library has customer folder, each Customer folder has 4 sub-folders. i want to send email notification with file name and description to group and users, if they upload any files to Particular
    folder name "Final" not others 3 folders. would it possible to accomplish this solution? if yes please suggest which way i can do that.
    Note: we have different groups of people, for example Team A and Team B. if files uploaded by any member of Team A, notification should sent to only Team A and specific people not Team B.
    Thanks in advanced for any help!

    Hey Rakib,
    You can add your group and those other people in To field of send mail activity. Have below snapshot for your reference.
    If Current Item URL Contains FolderName (i.e. Final) & Is Current User a member of of Team A
    Send Email to Team A; People1; People2;
    Thanks. Please mark as an answer if it helps.

  • Email notification depending on date

    Here's what I need to do: I need compare an "Expiration Date" for various rows, compare each one to the current date and if the difference is less than 2 weeks, I need to send an email for each row.
    I'm looking for some general guidelines on how this is done. Also, I know I can set up a Startup job on windows but I'd rather have the application do everthing on it's own.

  • OIM 11g email notification(request submitted, approved, reassigned, etc)

    Dear All,
    How to emplement e-mail notifications in 11g?
    It looks like there some notification templates available. But how those could be tied to different stages of the request? (request submitted, approved, reassigned, etc). Is there any authomation available or everything should be created now manually in the workflow? SOA suite has notification service. I suspect this is what should be used now.
    How notification templates are used in the workflow?
    If you can provide steps and/or example this would be very helpful.
    Maria

    I suspect article ID 457836.1 is valid for 11g as well. (FYI)

  • Email Notifications - I dont want them including empty fields

    Is this possible?
    After my form is filled out, I only want the filled fields to show in my notification email otherwise it gets cluttered with empty fields.
    I see that the person submitting the form can get an email included submitted data without the empty fields.
    Is there a work around for this?

    We now provide an option to not include empty fields when sending an email notification.

  • View attachments in email notification

    Is there any way to have an attachment viewable in the email notification that includes submitted data? If not, is there anything that is easier than logging in and downloading the attachment?

    Hi,
    Sorry, no. To access the file attachments associated with a form response you must log in to download it.
    Regards,
    Brian

  • I would like to know more about email notifications.

    When I enable email notifications for new form submission and also check "include submitted data" how is the submitted info shown on my email notification?

    It is shown in the format of question: answer.  So if you have a field labled Name and you enter Jeff it will show up as Name: Jeff.  Each question/answer gets itls own line in the email so it will appear something like this:
    Name: Jeff
    Date: 6/29/20123
    Favorite Color: Red.

  • PDF attachments with my email notifications?

    How do I convert the form data each that that a user submits into a pdf attachment with my email notifications? You can currently include :submitted data and empty fields.

    If you start in the photos app and select the photo(s) to email, then that email should go into your Sent folder on your email account, so you should be able to keep track of them from there.
    To get to your other email folders just tap your account id at the top left of your Inbox (it will be Mailboxes if you've only one account set up on the iPad) and that should take you to a list of your folders, and just tap the one that you want to go into. If you have more than one account active on the iPad you will have a Mailboxes button at the top of the list of folders that allows you to go up another level so that you can select a different account and then folder

  • Service Manager 2012 R2 (rollup update 2) Change Request/Review Activity Email Notifications

    I am trying to setup an email template for Change Request Reviewer. The email should contain as much details as possible, include Change Request ID, Description, Reason, Impact. etc. I have tried to include Data Properties from "Contains Activity",
    "Has Parent Work Item", "Depends on Work Item"... but they all show blank data in email notification. Which Data Properties should I use?
    Regards
    Andrew

    Maybe this blog post is helpful:
    Using Data Properties From the Parent Work Items in Activity Email Templates
    Andreas Baumgarten | H&D International Group
    Thanks Andreas,
    I have seen this post, but it didn't work for me. Eventually, I found solution. Below is working code.
    For example:
    "Contains Activity" doesn't have Change Request Data Properties "Reason". I inserted "Reason" from "Has Parent Work Item", copy inserted code "TypeConstraint=... .../Reason$", paste it after "$Context/Path[... ...System.WorkItemContainsActivity' "
    to replace the original code inserted from "Contains Activity".
    Also, don't forget to adde SeedRole='Target', but better to type
    ' by yourself.

    Be careful when copying + pasting SeedRole=’Target’ from this blog post. It should actually be SeedRole='Target' which has different punctuation around Target. I'd imagine that whatever blog engine Microsoft uses for this "helpfully" converted the
    single quote to some weird right-slanted-single-quote which doesn't work in Service Manager when copied+pasted.
    You guys might want to wrap it in a code block, or whatever you can use on the back-end to preserve formatting.

  • How to create a Email Notification in SRM5.0 ?

    Dear SRM Experts,
    This is my requirement:
    Requirement: If Delivery date for a PO is approaching, system should send notification E-mails to approvers and PO initiators. Program execution and dates for notifications will be affiliate specific.
    Each affiliate should be able to define text for E-mail notification and number of days before delivery date when reminder should be sent.
    We need to send an email notification if Delivery date is approaching that is 3 days before delivery date,if no action is taken then
    PO needs to be locked .
    Kindly help  me regading the requirement.
    Thanks&Regards,
    Chitra

    Chitra,
    you can have one record per affiliate in the custom table with Standard Text name and no of days and in your program based on the text name and no of days you should able to send notification also for locking the PO from approval the work item can be deleted(by program) so that the approver can no longer approve the PO.
    Thanks,
    Suresh
