Hi,
It should print automatically. You can logon to your ePrint account or check your email to see the result.

  • Chrome book ePrint problem, no actual print

My father just bought himself an Acer Chromebook. We have an HP LaserJet 100 color MFP M175nw. We were able to set up ePrint and print test prints from the Acer but whto trying to print anything else, nothing comes out. When you check the settings on Google Cloud Print and also on the HP ePrint website both state that the thing that was sent printed. I am able to print from the ePrint app on my iPad with no problem. We are completely stumped as to why the Chromeboostays everything has printed but nothing is coming out. Can someone please help?

I don't trust PDF export in software. I use a pdf printer application (BullZip is the one I use) to print to a pdf and then send the resulting pdf as an email.

  • EPrint problem with CP1525nw - connection error

I just installed a CP1525nw in our home network.  It's wired, and we can print and access the printer's web page from every computer - no problems with local printing.
However, I'm not able to successfully complete the ePrint setup. When printing the information sheet using the control panel, I quickly get the message "Connection Error, Check Connection", and it asks me to hit 'ok' to return to the main menu.
I am able to turn ePrint on and off, as well as enable and disable ePrint, both from the printer's webpage as well as the front LED menu.  Each time I toggle the latter, I get a new email address.  This successfully displays in the printer's LED window, so I know the printer is able to connect to the internet.
When I manually go to hp's ePrint website, and try to register my printer using the email address, it fails - unrecognized.
I'm aware that in order to complete the installation, the information sheet must successfully print.  That seems to be the only thing failing.  Any thoughts?
Here is some information about the printer and environment:
    - Apple AP Extreme
    - Printer directly wired to AP
    - IP: 10.0.1.17, DNS 10.0.1.1 (router)
    - Firmware: 20101125
    Thanks again.

Everything is now working just fine.  I wish I could say that I know what changed, but it must be magic.
This morning, after letting the ePrint stuff rest for a few days, I removed the service (using the web server), cycled power on the printer, added the ePrint service to the printer, and now everything is just fine.  I'm able to print from our iPad no problem.
Seems hp fixed something, just not sure what.

  • EPrint problems with registering and trying to sign in

I have a HP Photosmart 6510 printer. I have installed the disk that came with it onto my desktop and also my laptop. I also installed the apps that were recommended on my iPad3 and iPhone4S. I believe that I have done everything correctly and I registered my printer with HP and open an account with ePrint.  Here lies the problem, when I try to sign into ePrint it will not do anything. I have tried clicking on the sign in button on all 4 units and nothing. So now I go to the internet and try using the HP web site to get to ePrint which I can. I try to sign in there and I get an error message telling me that my password is incorrect. It tells me to enter my correct password or if I have forgotten my password to click here and it will send password to email that was used to  open account. So I try to have password sent. When I enter my email address and hit submit it tells me to use the email address that was used to set up account. I have checked over and over again and the email address is correct. I can sign into my HP account without a problem, I can't get into ePrint. So I figure I will try as if I did not have an account in ePrint. I enter my name, email address and password and it tells me that the email address is not available as it is in use, no kidding, it is mine, but it will not permit me to sign in. It seems like there is a problem with the software for this program. Any ideas. I really like the print jobs that come off this printer.  I have no problem printing within my home, but when I go out, that is where the problems start. I was able to send a picture to printer and I received an email telling me to go to ePrint to check on the status, well here we go again, I can't get sign into ePrint. I can't even find on HP website where I can go to get help. Please help

    Hello rrs110,
It may be that you have a SnapFish.com account. Alot of long time customers of HP have SnapFish.com accounts and do not realize it. One of the printer software releases signed customers up automatically, and most people did not know, or forgot, because they never used it. Try going to SnapFish.com and using the forgot password link at the log in screen there. Once you have the password reset, go to ePrintCenter.com and use the SnapFish.com log in information to log in. If that does not help you may need to contact SnapFish.com directly to have them delete the account, or use a different email to register with.

  • Eprint - Problem with ePrint Mobile and Windows Phone

    Good morning,
I purchased a printer Officejet Pro 8600 and I have the following problem:
When we try to print from mobile Nokia Lumia 920 with Windows Phone 8, works fine if I print via  attached text files (. DOC,. Txt) or. PDF or text in the message body. But when attachment is, image files (. JPG) does not work and,at the history ePrintCenter,  shows an DISCARDED or  ERROR message (attached copy of the screen). The same image files, sending mail from a PC, print correctly.
    I need help. Thank you.

    Hi kbdseattle,
Thank you for being an active member of the HP Support community.
The only way to ePrint from a Windows-based mobile phone is to email the printer.  You can find the printer's email address by pressing the 'ePrint' icon on the front panel of your printer.  When you press this icon it should display the printer's email address.  If it's not and asking you to accept the terms of service you haven't activated the web services and set up the ePrint functionality of the printer.

  • HP m1536dnf mfp: ePrint Problems

The instructions to find the eprint email address don't work as they appear on this Help Page:
    https://h30495.www3.hp.com/help#print_apps
My Laser Jet has the 2-line display and when I print the Information Sheet as advised, there is no email addresss listed.
Just more instructions that don't make sense.
Can someone help me find my printer's email address?

Is the printer connected to your local network when you print the information sheet?
Also: If available, I would recommend checking for any updates available for the firmware of your printer when it is connected to that internet-accessing network. It would be good to know it is up to date in case that may have something to do with the issue.

  • IPad to eprint problem

why does a document sent from my iPad print with the word "Confidential" in bright blue across it? Using HPphotosmart7510 C311a

    No problem again,
You are you using inside the same the network and is disconnecting after you print once.
    On your IPAD
Go to Settings > WiFi and touch the ">" next to your network name.
This brings up the connection details one of which is the DNS server IP address.
always use the same DNS settings, use 8.8.8.8 and as alternative 8.8.4.4
    Set static IP Address
Refer to the network configuration page or the wireless network test report that you printed in Step one, and locate the IP address of the HP product.
Open a new Internet browser window, and type the IP address of the HP product in the browser's address bar, and then press Enter . A web page displays, showing the internal settings of the HP product.
Click the Networking tab, click the Wireless tab, and then click the IPv4 tab (your menu path might be slightly different, depending on your HP product model. A new settings page displays.
On the page that displays, make the following changes:
Set a Manual IP : Your wireless router automatically sets an IP address within a specific range (called the DHCP range). If you know what the DHCP range is, set an IP address in which the last set of numbers is outside that range, but no higher than 254. Keep the first three sets of numbers the same. If you do not know the DHCP range, select a fairly high IP address, like 250 (again, for the last set of numbers). To learn about your router's DHCP range, contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or wireless router manufacturer.
Set subnet address : Use 255.255.255.0, unless you know that it is different, in which case you should use that number.
Set the gateway address and the DNS : Enter your router's IP (can be found on the network configuration page or the wireless network test report).
     Hope this helps;

  • Low memory Message on new Laserjet M201DW

Low memory Message on Laserjet M201dw printer when printing from a chromebook.
It happens no matter what you print and on all Chromebooks throught our school district.

    Hello @Rlavere,
    Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand that your laserjet M201dw is giving you a low memory message when you are using Google Cloud Print.
    I would like to help.
I would start with the basics.
Make sure the laserjet is plugged directly to a wall outlet.
No surge protectors or power bars.
Then I would test the printers ePrint functionality.
    This is really easy.
Send an email to the printers ePrint address.
If the ePrint comes through without any error messages, the issue is with the Google Cloud Print.
I would remove the printer from Google Cloud Print, then add the printer back on.
If the ePrint job does not come through, then there is an ePrint problem or a problem with the printer.
Please let me know the results, so that I can proceed in the right direction.
Thank you and best of luck.

  • Problem with connection for ePrint

    Hello,
today I brought a new printer - all in one, HP Deskjet INK Advantage 3520. All functions are OK, but i've a problem with ePrint.
Concretely, printer is connecting to my home wifi and I can print without USB cable without any problems. But when I want setup ePrint function, I get a error, that the printer haven't any internet connection and I can't finish configuration of service.
Does anyone know, how I can eliminate the problem?
    Thank you,

    Hi DenyKr,
I see that you're having problems with your printer connecting to web services.  I would try the steps below.
    1. Open an internet browser type printer's IP address.
    2. Should bring you to the printer's status page.
    3. Select network tab at the top.
    4. Left hand side select IPv4 under wireless.
    5. Under DNS address Configuration select Manual DNS Server.
    6. For Preferred enter 8.8.8.8
    7. For Alternate enter 8.8.4.4
    8. Select apply. You might get a warning saying this could interrupt connection that's fine.
    9. Turn printer off for about 30 seconds then try again.
Let me know how it goes.

  • Can't re-add printer after removing from eprint center - 'Web Services Problem'

I have an HP Photosmart Premium C310 series printer (Model Number CN503B) which I have been using with ePrint for about 18 months. Aside from intermittent issues it has worked, I use a chromebook most of the time so rely on the ePrint option via Google Cloud Print.
Last week it stopped working, with every job in the list showing as cancelled. Following advice on the forum I removed the email address of the printer from the eprint center. I thought it would then be simple to add the printer back. However, I have been unable to connect the printer to the web service so I cannot create the code I need to add the printer back.
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Factory reset printer settings
    2. Factory reset network settings
    3. Restart printer and Reboot router
    3. Settings -> Network -> Wireless Setup Wizard
    4. Choose correct SSID, enter password for WPA
    5. ‘Connected to Network’
    6. Settings -> Web -> Enable Web Services
    7. ‘Accept terms’ screen -> Accept
    8. ‘Checking for product updates’ screen shows briefly then returns to 'accept terms' screen
    9. Next it makes a ping sound and shows ‘Web Services Problem’ ‘Problem connecting to Web Services Server’, it then pings again a few seconds later (which ties in with what I see in the network logs as a second attempt)
    10. Log on to printer via web interface and set IP address of printer to manual IP outside DHCP range (as advice on other threads in this forum). Check DNS setting valid (same as gateway server which all other devices on network are also using successfully as DNS)
    11. Repeat steps 6 and 7 - still same error message
I consider myself technically savvy and have followed all advice I can find on this forum including the following:
    1. reverting to printer and network defaults
    2. rebooting router
    3. assigning static IP address to printer outside of DHCP range of router
    4. connecting to printer via web interface and setting DNS to variously: same as gateway, google DNS (8.8.8.8), ISP DNS
    5. adjusting firewall settings on router to explicitly allow and log outbound connection on the HP ports (already had a rule allowing all outbound connections)
As mentioned, the printer worked fine with ePrint previously so I suspect the ePrint server is rejecting a request from my printer for some reason, maybe because there is old / corrupt  data on the server regarding my specific printer.
I’m logging outbound traffic from the printer and here are what the router logs show me (printer IP replaced with 192.168.x.x below, even though it is not public )
    Thu, 2013-04-11 09:13:42 - TCP Packet - Source:192.168.x.x, 36475 Destination:15.201.202.81,80 - [HTTP rule match]

Looks like both are HP sites: first is 'g4t2674.houston.hp.com' and the second secure one is ‘registration-pro-site2eprint.houston.hp.com’ which sound likely to be correct. That suggests the DNS is working but that the registration server doesn’t like the request for some reason.
I had the printer registered for Google Cloud Print but I have now deleted that also and it doesn’t seem to have made any difference (assume it just formats and forwards to the HP ePrint email anyway).
One hack that sheds some further light is to switch off wifi on the printer and then switch on ePrint. Eprint gives an error but stays set as 'on'. When I then switch wifi back on I can then at least check for product updates (it tells me I have the latest product updates). However, web services are still a 'no go'. Network traffic for that product update exchange looks like this:

So clearly the printer can communicate to those servers well enough to find it has the latest firmware.
I realise this is a lot of information but hopefully some of it is helpful for troubleshooting.
Thank you in advance for any help!

The issue disappeared this weekend. I didn't change anything so it must have been something server side. I notice others with the same issue have also seen it resolved.
Thanks to all those who contributed and tried to help out. Although disappointed I went for a long time without ePrint I'm glad that action was apparently taken to resolve in the end.

  • I have HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf Multifunction Printer and my problem with eprint "Not Connected"

but same problem after some hour  show not connected
how can printer connected all time ?

    Hey sfareg,
One thing you need to check is if your internet connection is intermittent. If it is not, you can follow these steps to give the printer a better connection.
    1. Find your printer's IP address by printing a network configuration page.
    2. Type you IP address into the address bar of your web browser.
    3. Click on the network tab at the top of the page.
    4. Look at the left hand side and click IPv4 under wireless.
    5. Change the IP settings to Manual.
    6. Enter the printer's IP address, your subnet mask, and your routers IP address or default gateway in the spaces.
    7. Set the Preferred DNS to 8.8.8.8.
    8. Set the Alternate DNS to 8.8.4.4.
    9. Click apply.(You may need to refresh the page if it says processing for longer than a min and click apply again.)
The printer should have a better connection now.
Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
If I have resolved your issue, feel free to provide Kudos and make sure you mark this thread as solution provided.

Log into ePrintCenter and choose the ePrint Settings button. There should be a "Print options" tab which also has a Color/Grayscale option. Make sure that is set to Color to see if that makes a difference (even though pictures should default to color).

  • Problem creating an ePrint account (for Photosmart 5510)

    Hi
Looking for guidance on email addresses and ePrint accounts
I tried to create an ePrint account for my new Photosmart 5510, using the link supplied by the setup software.  This took me to an account creation form, where I duly entered my real name, screen name, personal email address, password and notification options, then clicked on the big blue button ... up popped a red square with a white cross by the email address, and a notification box saying "Email already exists" and an invitation to sign in to that account.
Oh well, I did have an HP printer 12 years ago, so perhaps the registration was retained.  I tried logging in to that account with the email address that ePrint reckoned already existed, and clicked 'Forgot Password'.  This brought up the 'Forgot your password' dialogue box, asking for the email address associated with the account.  I entered the email address again, and this brought up an alert box, telling me to 'Enter the email address associated with your account', apparently not liking what I'd just entered.  So I'm stuck.
After looking on the forum for login problems, I tried using Safari (rather than Firefox) and also submitting my email at snapfish and asking for a password reminder.  Also unsuccessful - same results in Safari as Firefox, and snapfish gave a java resource error.
I got round the problem by using someone else's email address in the ePrint account creation - this then let me enter the email address of the printer, which it had correctly auto-populated with the alphanumeric code provided by the printer.
Now I can log in to my ePrint account, and ePrint works, but I would like to switch the account email address to be my own address.  Although I can access the ePrint account settings page, I'm wary of changing the account email address in case it rejects the change and possibly leaves me unable to revert to the initial email account.
    Any suggestions?
(Windows XP SP3, Firefox / Safari browsers, Photosmart 5510)

    Hi alan;
This is a 404 error which means that the server recieved could not find the requested file, which I dought to be accurate, because not everybody will be having this issue, I will change the DNS of your network to the Google public DNS server becuase DNS resolution issue can be confuse with this errors by the system. and this can the case this time.
Try using Google DNS servers have proven to be accurate.
    To do so in Windows;
Open Network Connections by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Network and Internet, clicking Network and Sharing Center, and then clicking Manage network connections.
Right-click the connection that you want to change, and then click Properties.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Click the Networking tab. Under This connection uses the following items, click either Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6), and then click Properties.
To specify an IP address, click Use the following IP address, and then, in the IP address, Subnet mask, and Default gateway boxes, type the IP address settings.
    Google DNS servers are
    8.8.8.8 Primary
    8.8.4.4 Secondary.
Try that and le tme know the outcome I will keep looking on my end. I have been trying to find out if there an issue I have not be able to find anything useful but I will keep digging
