Error replicating materials from R/3 to SRM

I had to delete all materials from SRM master record to replicate agaim the materials object MATERIAL.
I have for my country one table CRMM_PR_TAX that contaim tax datas that comes with object MATERIAL during replication, after deletion I started the new replication and an error occurr:
Data cannot be maintained for set type CRMM_PR_TAX
Diagnosis
The data for a set can be maintained only if the product is assigned to a category to which the set type is assigned
Procedure
Check whether the product is assigned to a category that allows the set
Please someone knows can I chect it and configur agaim.

Errors while replicating Materials from ECC to SRM

Hi All,
I am trying to replicate materials from R/3 to SRM, in SMQ2 of SRM, the status of MATERIAL is still in yellow colour. when i checked in SMW01 tcode, the error is "Category for material group 013 does not exist" where as in R/3 also we dont have any material group as 013.
All the Prod type & Prod category have been replicated into SRM from R/3.
And no materials have copied in SRM.
how to resolve this ?

Hi,
DNL_CUST_PROD0 & DNL_CUST_PROD1 were in green colour now,
DNL_CUST_BASIS3 is in yellow colour & i saw in some doc that DNL_CUST_BASIS3 is not reqd from SRM7.0 onwards.
when i try to replicate MATERIAL, in SMQ2 i am getting status as SYSFAIL & after double clicking on that i got a pop up as "Error in Mapping (Details: transaction SMW01)"
Upon checking in SMW01 i got the above errors as
" Category for material group 013 does not exist
Message no. COM_PRODUCT_API002
Diagnosis
If material groups are used in the SAP system, they must exist as categories in CRM/EBP before you import materials. When Customizing object DNL_CUST_PROD1 is imported, the material groups are imported automatically and created in the category hierarchy R3MATCLASS (material group).
Procedure
Check whether the material groups have been imported successfully and exist as categories.
Proceed
If necessary, import the Customizing object DNL_CUST_PROD1"
Like this its showing 19 material groups and all these 19 mat groups were not present in ECC.

Replicating material from R/3 to SRM problem

Hi experts I have done all configurations for material replication from R/3 to SRM but an error still occuring When I start the initiao load I can see inSMQ1 of backen 2 entries R3AD_MATERIA* and MASS_SRM_MATERIA*
in status STOP, and some materials are replicated but some materials are not replicated even if a request is created, I could see that some problems could occur if I have set language for user remote or RFC, but im my case it`s in blank, IF I change the RFC to unicode this problem could be solved?

Yes. Unicode RFC is recommended when you are using diff languages.
also check in SMW01 about the BDOC status.

Unable to transfer direct materials from R/3 to SRM (PDP)

Hi,
We have de coupled scnerio. Through MRP (ECS- Prd category) PR created in R/3 and transfered to SRM system. Once its transfered to SRM from thier find a vendor and create the PO.
Issue is unable to create a PO for direct materials ( its working fine for indirect materials), while creating PO in SRM system promting us to enter Cost center and G/L account.
It means : Eventhough it is a Direct materials system considering as a Indirect material.
Is there any setting is missing ? could you please advise me

There are two options
1) Hit the button order as direct material
2) use the badi BBP_EXTLOCALPO_BADI. Convert as Classic scenario.

Error with replicating materials from ERP to CRM 7.0

Hi experts!
After dump (No PXA storage space available at the moment) materials are not replicated from ERP to CRM.
In transaction R3AC1 there are no filters for object MATERIAL.
Replication is managed by transactions R3AR2-R3AR4 with parameters MARA-MATNR.
In transaction SMW01 the status of incoming for material BDOC is green.
But in the bottom of status bar there are some messages appears when clicking the buttons u201CShow BDOC message classic datau201D and u201CShow BDOC message extended datau201D correspondingly:
u2022 No classic data for BDoc message ХХХХХХХ found.
u2022 No extended data for BDoc message ХХХХХХХ found.
The table COMM_PRODUCT is empty.
Can anyone help me ?

Error replicating customizing data to the repository (SRM MDM Catalog)

I am currently configuring SRM MDM catalog, and one of the initial steps is to replicate data from SRM to the repository.
After defining repositories and FTP servers, I am running step "start extraction".
Well, the result page prompts me for errors in the 3 different files it is trying to replicate:

For accessing the catalog, you have to define the external webservice with the config parameters in SRM System under transaction "SPRO"

I write to pull the master data from ECC as per the guide line given in the link. But there some problem. No master data is being transferred to SRM server from the ECC.
I am stuck in the process R3AS. When I am running the transaction and seeing the status in R3AM1, the indicator shows, the program is running.
But when I see the report through SMQ1, the staus is SYS Failure. on further drill down, The error is " The current application triggered a termination "
Can you help me in sorting out the problem and when I have gone wrong. If you have any documents for step by step procedure for the same, can you forward to my id, darpan2k6 in gmail.

Issue of Hierarchy when Replicating Materials ECC- CRM

Hello,
We are replicating materials from SAP ECC to SAP CRM, the material got replicated successfully however when I check the material in SAP CRM, the wrong hierarchy is getting assigned to the same(screen shot attached the hierarchy R3PRODSTYP gets assigned however the hierarchy R3PRODHIER needs to get assigned
Please advice, Product Hierarchies have been downloaded in SAP CRM using the relevant middle ware objects

Exclude materials from update

Hi,
we replicated materials from ECC to CRM. Now we want to exclude some materials from being updated in central data (basic data 1 & 2). Reason is, the sales people who are working with CRM do have a better understanding of the current description and the basic data 1 short description will shortly be updated with a more engineering based technical description. So we want to avoid that the current description for a specific set of materials is changed.
I tried excluding these (200) materials in R3AC1, synchronized the filter and still a change in ECC would change the material in CRM.
Any ideas?

In particular, it is not possible to specify two "Not Equal" interlinks in the same field. For example:
              Table Field Operator Value
              KNA1 KUNNR NE 12345
              KNA1 KUNNR NE 23456
              Everything is selected here, since 12345 does not equal 23456 and vice versa. As a result, there may only be a maximum of one negative condition for a field.
So instead of describing wat is NOT possible I need to describe what is.
I'm testing that now and if I do not add any comments to this thread it was the solution for me.

Replication of Materials and services from R/3 to SRM

Hello,
I would like to get some advice about replicating materials and services from R/3 46C to SRM 5.0.
I replicated the objects succesfully in Development and the Test environment but now i have to do it in a Productive environment.
We use about 40.000 material and 5000 services in R/3.
Im concerned about the timing of the process.
How long will this aproximately take to replicate this amount of data?
What will be the best time to start replicating?
Is there any inconvenience in replicating during the normal working hours?
What happens if a user is currently using a material during the replication process? Is the material replicated anyway?

This depends on the Production System Resources and the processes available. But for the number you have projected here should not take more than 2 - 3 hours at the max.
What will be the best time to start replicating?
Is there any inconvenience in replicating during the normal working hours?
What happens if a user is currently using a material during the replication process? Is the material replicated anyway?
It better to perform the activity during the night / production outtage time. Ideally users should be allowed to use them after the replication process. So, please do not perform this during business hours or when there are end users in the system. You can just trigger the replciation in the night and it should be completed in few hours. Besides, if there are any background activities the workprocesses will be occupied (very common in business hours) and hence there will not be enough processes for the replication job. This will increase the time for replication by many folds.

Transfer of non-valuated materials from ECC to SRM

I kindly request your help with an issue that I am facing.
The scenario is as follows :
1. There is a non valuated material X (material type UNBW).
2. MRP run happens and generates a PR with account assignment U.
3. Transfer report BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER is executed in order to transfer the PR to SRM.
4. The PR reaches SRM, but the SC is not created instead in SLG1 there is an error thrown, "No account assignment exist. Enter an account assignment".
5. In the backend now If I try to change the PR i get the error " 6Q204 (Procurement profile 36 cannot be changed).
Is this scenario supported ?? i,e, transfer of non-valuated materials from ECC to SRM.
Kindly let me know if you have any idea on this.

Error when replicating materials

Hi,
We are on SRM_SERVER 500 (SRM 5.0), Support pack SAPKIBKT06.
When replicating materials - we faced the following error.
In SMQ2 we get an error message - SYSFAIL - Error in Mapping (Details: transaction SMW01)
In SMW01 I am able to see some error messages -
No product ID determined for material number P2P SUPPLIES of logical system P2PCLNT100
But we have created the product P2P SUPPLIES in the R/3 system.
Can someone explain what needs to be done?

While replicating objects from R/3 to CRM (Tcode :R3AS), the status of the object is still running. When I checked in Outbound queue (Tcode:SMQ1) the status is 'SYSFAIL', when I double clicked it says "Password logon no longer possible - too many attempts". So what is the solution to it...

Sorry not sure then...
Sometimes the RFC connection is refused and use to give that particular error messgae due to:
The old RFC library having version 6.20 automatically converted the
password into uppercase with a size limit of 8 characters before sending it to the SAP system.
The RFC library version 6.40 does not perform this conversion any more, because mixed case passwords upto 40 characters are now supported by SAP Basis version 7.00 (eg. NW2004s) and above.
So need to use upper case passwords when connecting to an SAP system having version less than 7.00.
But this is not valid in this scenario.

I tried to replicate some vendors from r/3 to srm and when i used the t-code bbpgetvd i got a message that it has already been replicated but wheni am trying to create a Shopping Cart and assigning vendor to the cart it is giving me a message that no supplier is assign and no possible source of suply found in the system?PLS answer my question its urgent.

Hi Pooja,
I understand that you have moved your partner information from R/3 to SRM. In SRM, all the Partner(vendor) information is stored in BUT000 master table. The type of partner = 02.
Go to transaction BP in SRM and check for the partner data. If found, go to master table BUT000 and check there. If you dont find your data overthere track the msg flow.
Else you should be able to create the cart.

Replicating BPs from ECC to CRM- Error IN SMQ2 as Stop.

I am facing problem in replicating BPs from ECC to CRM. After initial load , when monitoring the In bound Q in transaction SMQ2 it is showing status as Stop.

Hi,
If you double-click on the queue that is in stop status (so, step one when you have your list of queues, double-click on the one that is in error state, this will give you a one-line entry, then double-click this one line again, and it will give you a detailed view of what is held within that queue), it will give you more information and may have a line in it that is causing the error. This tends to give you more info on why it is in stop status (we have had wide, varied and some weird ones in here!) - most of the time you fix it by just deleting that line that has the error associated with it. then you just go back one level to the queue 'header' and click on the unlock queue button and it should process.
