EWT- Follow up

Hi,
I have a query regardin follow up for Ext.Web based trainings ,i have copeid Del method 0003 to custom one with the back end follow up control option.
When ever participant take the online courses we need to do the follow up in the back end , my question is how to track the particpants who had passed the course so that we can do the follow up in the back end.
We can get the booking date in hrpad614 but i want to know how to track the participant participation in the portal, we get the completion status as 100% where this will be stored in the backend. so, that i can track the participants and schdule a batch job for the same.
Please share your ideas.
Thanks
Kumar

3 different ways and displays for pinning a program for Start!
Please consider merging Start (on the Start), Start Screen and the task bar - with pins extending the Task Bar and using the Metro UI icons overall including on the desktop. It would be a nice move on the look and feel - while the task bar would be
the same. Add virtualization for pins as well on the task bar. Make shortscuts and docs on the virtual desktop actual as well - binding dynamically to a virtual desktop - instead of formal and static.
Just observed the Start Screen can be turned back on using properties on the Task Bar.
Many ambigious concepts now for Starting programs instead of just using a Consolidated Start concept for Start Screen, Start on the Start Menu and Task bar.

  • Wuc-15 form must contain the following bean

    hi
i am trying to use the client_text_io api's in a form but i keep getting the wuc-15 error (your form must contain the following bean for this function to be available - oracle.forms.webutil.file.FileFunctions). i do have the webutil object group in the form, i added it after attaching the library but i did go back and recompile all the pl/sql code just in case. forms90_path does include webutil/forms.
the only thing that i can see that might be a problem is that because of utf8 issues i have to use the sun jdk. i have the following block in my formsweb.cfg file to force the form to use the sun jdk instead of jinitiator
    [jdk_plugin]
    basehtmljinitiator=basejpi.htm
    basehtmlie=basejpi.htm
    baseHTMLjpi=basejpi.htm
    jpi_download_page=http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html
    jpi_classid=clsid:CAFEEFAC-0014-0002-0004-ABCDEFFEDCBA
    jpi_codebase=http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/autodl/jinstall-142-windows-i586.cab#Version=1,4,2,0
    jpi_mimetype=application/x-java-applet;version=1.4.2
i have left it this way since when i change the basehtml entries to use the webutil templates i get thrown back into jinitiator. is this causing the wuc-15 error? if it is how do i use the webutil templates with the sun jdk?
    thanks
    penny svetlik

the forms90_path variable contains less than 100 characters.
i ran the form with increased trace level but did not get anything additional in the way of errors (just the usual 'unable to attach library' error in the alert box). here is the trace information. by the way why do the findlocalhost and getipaddress calles repeat 8 times?

  • WEBUTIL  Error WUC-15: "Your Form must contain the following Bean ...

    Dear Colleague,
Up until now, I have installed WebUtil in my DEV environment (Designer Suite) and successfully used it to develop and run a form called DOCU_MGMT.fmx that performs various document management tasks like:
    1. File Upload into a DB BLOB column
    2. File Download and display
    3. Full text search (via Oracle Text) etc.
In the meantime, I installed WebUtil in my TEST environment (Application Server) and successfully started the DOCU_MGMT.fmx form. However, when I press the button that executes the webutil_file_transfer.DB_To_Client function, I get the "WUC-15" error message, namely:
"WUC-15 Your Form must contain the following Bean for this function to be available.
    oracle.forms.webutil.file.FileFunctions"
According to the error message guide:
"WUC-15 Your Form must contain the following Bean for this function to be available."
Description: WebUtil uses Bean areas to carry out client side functionality and these must be present.
Resolution: Drag the WEBUTIL object group into your Form.
But this form was compiled with the WEBUTIL pll attached and the WEBUTIL object group subclassed into it.
Any ideas or tips on the problem and how I should proceed? Any support would be appreciated.
    Thanks and best regards,
    Randy

  • CDR-17066 RON cannot find java EWT graphics classes

    Hello,
I am evaluating Oracle SCM. Everything's going great, except I am unable to use the Version History or Version Events. When I try, I get an error:
"CDR-17066: RON cannot find java EWT graphics classes"
The action it recommends is to check the registry or environment variable JVM_CLASSPATH_RON, and make sure it points to the ewt jar.
I found a jar called ewt3.jar in my oracle/jlib directory. There was no environmental variable called JVM_CLASSPATH_RON, so I created one and set it to that jar. But I'm still getting the same error.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi,
this error message is rather strange: I checked in our knwoledge base, but you seem to be the first one having this issue!
I had a look to my registry and indeed I couldn't find the variable JVM_CLASSPATH_RON.
I suspect that this variable was superseded by another one (JVM_CLASSPATH_DEFAULT_THIN_JDBC ?).
I checked for all variables including ewt and found the following:
    . FORMS90_CLASSPATH (<Home>\jlib\ewt3.jar)
    . FORMS90_BUILDER_CLASSPATH (<Home>\jlib\ewt3.jar)
    . JVM_CLASSPATH_DEFAULT_THIN_JDBC (<Home>\jlib\ewt4.jar)
FORMS90_... variables are not used by the Version History and Version Event Viewers, but JVM_CLASSPATH_DEFAULT_THIN_JDBC is.
I removed the entry <Home>\jlib\ewt4.jar from JVM_CLASSPATH_DEFAULT_THIN_JDBC, and then I could reproduce your issue.
So could you check the content of this variable JVM_CLASSPATH_DEFAULT_THIN_JDBC?
    It's located in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Oracle\HOMEx\REPADM61\DEFAULT_JVM_PARAMS_THIN_JDBC
Could you also check that file <Home>\jlib\ewt4.jar does exist on your machine?
    Regards,
    Didier.

    Hi Bhaskar
Pretty much impossible to work out from a posting of the internals of the error log. This type of issue is one for Oracle Support as there are so many different things that could prevent an install from working.

  • EWT confing - Difference FI & A/R - A/P

    Dear All,
We just want to know what is the difference between EWT,which comes under Financial Accounting  Basic Setting(New) and the EWT which falls under the head of A/R & A/P > business Transaction > Incoming Invoice and Cr memos > Carry out and check setting for WITHHOLDING TAX.
Also let me know exactly in place the A/P EWR is useful or what is the purpose of the EWT in A/R &A/P.
Actualy we want to calculate TDS on interest from Customer deposited received by us.
But when we assigned the tax code(which was created in FA EWT) to customer master, the system does not calculated the TDS.We used the formula (in the above mentioned tax code),as we want to calculate TDS only if the payable amount is more than Rs.5000.
Do suggest how to acheive our requirement.
    Regards,

    Hi ,
Looking at the issue that you have raised there are 2 parts in to it :
    - what is the diffrence between the two nodes of wihthoding tax that you have mentioned .
    - you want to create a tax code for interest on deposit from consumers .
First of all the the diffrence between the two nodes is that the node that you have referred that is accounts receivable and payable - business tras. - withholding tax . that is for classic withholding tax that was applicable to prior verion now SAP has come up with Extended withhholding tax functionality which is having better functionalities as compared to classic witholding tax .
secondly the TDS code that you have created for the consumer , you are saying that it is not deducting the amount in that case pl. check the following :
while assigning the with holding tax to co code you have put a tick on the agent as consumer .
for calculating the tax on TDS to be payable if the amount is more than 5000 in that case you can make user of the formula function provided by SAP for the same .
Hope now the things are clear for you , do revert back in case you are stuck up somewhere or are unable to find the right configuration node for the same .
    Cheers ,

  • Ipod touch can no longer connect to XP following Apple upgrade, HELP !

This is a nightmare. My son has an ipod touch (8gb)purchased a couple of months, and it's been fine until a couple of days ago. I downloaded some music for him, and just about to synch when Apple informed me on itunes of a software upgrade, so naturally I did this. However, it could not complete it saying there was a problem installing the hardware. The ipod then had a permanent picture of a usb cable pointing towards the itunes logo. Itunes no longer recognises this ipod or my own ipod as a device.
I'm not a techhie expert, but I generally know my way around computers, however I could not resolve this.
I called the Apple technical support desk, where I spent 1 hour 45 minutes with 2 different advisors who could not resolve this. We installed and re-installed various components from drivers to itunes to anti virus software, however nothing could change. There was simply no recognition of the ipod at all when connected. It does give a pop up message to restore the ipod, however you can't actually click on the restore button because to have to get rid of the pop up message first, then the screen with the restore facility disappears.
Windows xp is continually popping up a message saying " FOUND NEW HARDWARE WIZARD There was a problem installing this hardware. Apple Mobile USB driver. An error occured during the installation of the device. The system cannot find the file specified."
You then have to click on finish, however the message keeps coming back. We kept going round and round in circles with the technical support people, where it was left that I should start removing programmes on my computer to see if any of those are causing a problem. I have had the same spyware for the last 12 months now and never had a problem before, nor any other programmes.
I booked a genius appointment at my local Apple store today where the assistant reset the ipod to factory settings so it could at least work. I explained the situation, however 15 minutes was never going to be long enough to look into it, and a restore was all they did. Obviously all of my programmes were lost, however when I got home and plugged it back into the computer again, it could not be recognised by itunes and i got the same pop up message. Luckily we have not spent alot on downloads, however my son has lost his music now and it cannot be connected or upgraded. It's under guarantee however a software upgrade by Apple has totally messed my computer up. I really don't know who to turn to now as both the service support and store has not rectified this, something I feel has been caused by Apple.
    Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Does the iOS device connect to other networks?
Does the iOS device see the network?
    Any error messages?
    Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

    Hi,
Have you tried Cancelling the release before adding the version?
Select the active version of the IDOC Segment and cancel its release first. Only then you will be able to add a version.
Please let me know if it worked!

A movie I purchased in the iTunes store is missing. It isn't hidden and doesn't show up in search. I've followed support steps.  Where is it and how do I find it?  I believe I originally purchased the film on my 1st Gen AppleTV...other movies show up. Help.

It was Love Actually. It's been in my library a few years but is now missing. It's odd...it isn't even in the iTunes Store anymore. I think there is a rights issue because a message appeared in the store saying it wasn't available at this time in the U. S. store. Still, if I bought it years ago it should be in my library or I should get a refund....

  • Follow-up action : please help - Inspection Lot related

    Hi,
I am having the following trouble:
Through MB02, a printout is generated to the local printer (LOCL).
However, through QA11, when we save, we have a custom follow-up action attached that pops-up a
    dialog screen.
The follow up action is triggered when a usage decision is changed for the inspection lot.
The follow-up action (configured in IMG) calls a Function Module and a screen, which in turn populates
a value into a custom DB table (based on the buttons, on the screen, sending either to LOCL or to a
    zebra printer).
Now, what has to happen is that after inserting the value into a custom table, it should also open a sapscript and output.
The Sapscript and print program are there, with the print program being created 3-4 years ago by someone
else. However, even though we have code in the print program to update nast, in turn creating a message
for output (1st the custom DB table is checked to see if the values match, MATNRCHARG), It does not update
NAST. When we go through MB02, it does, but this should happen automatically after selecting one of the radio
buttons on the original pop-up & selecting print.
Please help. I don't know what to do and can't enable a debugger from the pop-up and if going though QA11,
I can't get it to stop inside the print program (only inside the custom FM).
    Cheers,
    John

  • Follow up functionality in Sharepoint

    Hello,
Is it possible to assign a follow up date or an expiration date to a document in Sharepoint? And receive an email or notification directly from Sharepoint when the document expires.
For example when a vendor agreement needs to be updated because is has a validity period of six month. Or a report has to be updated each month.
    Best regards,
    Sara

Yes. You can use Information Management Policies to peform various actions after a set period of time has elapsed.
