Extend customer to multiple company codes and mutliple sales organisations
Hi,
Customers with only general info. are getting created from CRM system to SAP ECC. Now we extend the same customer to differnt company codes and different sales organisations.
When I checked the BADI, CUSTOMER ADDDATA, in this S_KNA1, S_KNB1, S_KNVV structures are there only. So is it possible to extend it to mutiple company codes at the same time.
It is mostly appreciated for early response.
Thanks,
Hi,
You can use fm SD_CUSTOMER_MAINTAIN_ALL to extend customer to sales are and company code.
Using this fm you can maintain all customer master data.

STO-Within same company code and same sales organisation
hi freinds
i need steps for STO Within same company code and same sales organisation "xyz" with different plant "X " and " Y"
with regards
dineshHi,
Sales organization is linked to sending plant. It does not matter if receiving plant is using the same or different sales organization. The setup from sending plant is independent from that.
As for the STO standard setup, I suggest you search SDN first. Below example link.

Collection strategy: one customer in multiple company codes
Hi,
we look into CM at the moment and have the following requirement:
There is one customer who has business with different companies (company codes).
the collection for these kind of customer should be based on the customer across all companies and not within each.
If customer ZZZ is in company code 1000, 2000 and 3000 and it would be necessary to have only one collection specialist on this customer across all companies.
How would you do this?
Thanks + Regards
HeinHi,
You can create a new collection segment containing all the required company codes and assign that segment to the customer profile to be used for this customer. This would enable you to assign the same specialist and same collection strategy. In your process receivables you will get the consolidated data for this customer. However when you process it, you will get individual detailed receivable due for individual company codes.

Automatic creation of Company Code and Sales Area Data for Customer Master
Hi,
We have a organisation structure setup with multiple company codes and sales areas.
A customer will be created using VD01 via the Sales Order VA01. Because the customers are created using VD01 we need to automatically extend the customer for the various company codes and sales areas. The data on these views will be populated using reference customers.
Any recommendations on the best approach (technically) to auto extend the customer master would be appreciated.
I'm reluctant to use BDC's because of performance. We are in a Retail environment.
Thanks in advance
CraigThe sample code has been taken from the SAP notes - in which have the affected as outlined in the example.
The codes does not do what my requirements are, which is to identify the next available number in isolation of the BP type. -
SEPA file – how to create one file for multiple company codes
Dear experts,
My company has multiple company codes and they process automatic payments (F110) for multiple company codes in the same run.
The company wants to generate one SEPA file for all company codes.
In OBPM1 for SEPA format in the section ``Payment medium output devided by level of detail`` I unchecked everything (attached).
OBPM4 for SEPA format is showing `` No separation of payment medium output``.
Unfortunately, when I run automatic payments (F110) for multiple codes, multiple files for each company code are created.
Can anyone let me know how it is possible to create one SEPA file that will contain payments for multiple company codes?
Thank youHi Zara,
Please check in transaction DMEE your format tree (eg. SEPA_CT), 'DMEE tree: properties' - tab 'Sort/key field'. Is the Sort/key field 'ZBUKR' defined there with Level 1?
Please follow the recommendation of note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1742584

Company code and Sales Org.
Hi, this is one of the certification questions.
Can you create a sales organization without setting up a company code?
I am almost certain we can't but I want to get a second opinion.
Thank you.You can definitely create a sales organization without company code, but you won't be able to post any entries to the accounting department if you don't assign it to company code.
You can even create a customer without the Company code, using the sales area in T.Code: VD51.

Creating Asset in one Company Code and transferring it into multiple ccodes
Hi ,
We want to create a asset in one company code and then want to transfer it to multiple company codes based on %.
eg: Asset XYZ in Ccode 100 for $10000
transferring it to multiple company codes 100 20%
200 50%
300 30%
At present we are using AS01 and then using ABT1N multiple times. Is there an alternative way for doing it.
Best Regards,
VenkatramYou can also create a custom program which takes your excel file with all the new asset numbers in new company code and the partial amount and process t-code ABT1N in batch.. if your partial transfer list is huge. If you have few assets than manual approach is better.

Merits and Demerits of Multiple company codes
Hi SAP Gurus,
Could you please let me know the Merits and Demerits of multiple company codes in ECC 6.0. Actually client asking for separate company codes for each production plant. Client having 20 plants (Client registered as one legal entity as per companies Act having 20 plants in different regions with in India) and wants to have separate company codes in SAP to have decentralized control of operations and period closing. Could you please let me know the merits and demerits of Multiple company codes with respect to Load on system, Extra activities/ load on man power on consolidation, complexities ect..
Thanks in Advance
Best Regards
RajRay,
From the background explained by you, I feel that you should go for a single company code as they have one singel legal entity. The purpose of comapny code is to generate external reporting(mainly balance sheet & Pand L statement) as per the legal requirements.
As far as decentarlized control is concerned you can opt for configuring each plant as a separate profit center which will not only allow decentralized operations and accountability but also a flexibility from internal maangement point of view.
As far as configuration of multiple comapny codes is concerned, it will make the system too cumbersome and will have undesired complexity.
Hope this helps.

One Rebate Agrement linked to multiple company codes
Hi ,
I have a question. Can you let me know on the rebate enhancements if any .I have a scenario where in have to create one Agreement type it can be any rebate agreement ...Customer Rebate ,material Rebate , Heirarchy rebate ..... which can be linked to multiple compnay codes. As per my understanding at the time of creating Rebate agreement it requires sales area data .If we supress that we can make a common Rebate agreement type. Can any one explain on this scenario...How can we go ahead
Kindly let me know if more information is required
Regards
AKI think that in fact you could create one rebate agreement across payers and company codes (different company codes = different sales organizations), but probably this would only make sense if you you used Extended Rebate Processing.
After activating Extended Rebate you customize the VAKEY construction for S469 structure update so that the system knows, what are the actual values to settle. If you make sure that the rebate conditions in your agreement do not have the sales organization in the access sequence, then there should be no problem to determine those conditions in invoices across company codes. In fact what is important for rebate settlement is that the rebate condition assigned to the agreement is determined in the invoice, not that the sales organization or payer are the same.
Once the rebate conditions are determined in invoices, you must somehow settle the agreement. If you settle in one company code and to one payer only, then this is all you have to do - once the invoices have the conditions determined, settlement will see the values.
If you have to settle across company codes, you will have to introduce the sales organization in the variable key and assign it to sales organization field in the header of the credit memo (VBAK-VKORG). This should work.
I have never tested this particular scenarion, but I have done so many really strange things with extended rebate that I really think it should work. Just remember - the key is that your rebate conditions are determined in the relevant invoices (easiest to achieve by eliminating sales organization from access sequence). If the value is there, you should always find a way to settle (if standard customizing of extended rebates cannot do it, you always have the last option - RBT_ENH_BADI_SETTLE).
If you are successful, let me know - I would really like to know if this scenario is possible as well.

Entry Channel setup for multiple company codes
Hello,
I have a question regarding the entry channel setup (for external requirements in the Plan-Driven Procurement scenario)
In previous implementations, I 've created an entry channel below each company code (as the documentation says it should be). Now, for each entry channel, there was a EBP user assigned, which corresponded to an RFC entry in the backend system (I was connecting EBP to multiple backend systems)
Now, what should I do in the following scenario?:
1. SRM is only connected to one backend system
2. There are 50 company codes
Does that mean I have to create 50 users (for each channel) plus 50 RFC connections in the R/3 system (each with a different user in the backend system), pointing to the same SRM system?
I was thinking of creating an Org iD in the SRM structure at the top (which would be the entry channel), assign only ONE user to it and then fill attribute BUK with all the company codes. However, I don't know if this will work, because the external requirement process might need the company code defined in the "Function" tab... =/
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Gilberto.Hi Proyecto Genesis,
I am also configuring the Entry channel (org unit) for multiple company codes.
I tried your logic of defining the entry channel outside company code level. Assigned the BUK attribute and extended attribute for plants and storage locations.
Also in my case the local Pur org and Pur group is defined outside the company code. Is it correct?
However the system fails to transfer the external requisition to SRM.
SLG1 displays following error message.
"No address found for partner function type Ship-To Address"
So if I move the Entry channel (org unit) under any one company code level then the external requisitions are transferred correctly to SRM.
But then the issue is the requirements are not transferred with the backend Pur Org and Pur grp. Instead they are transferred to the Pur Org and Pur grp of the company code under which the entry channel is defined.
Can you please share how do we need to define the entry channel, local pur org and pur grp for multiple company codes scenario, so that the ECC requisitions are transferred with the correct company code, pur org and pur grp to SRM?
Or do we need to define Entry channel for each company code and RFC user actually mapping the same backend system?
Please guide.

Company code and Purchase Org during vendor registration
Hi,
I have one enterprise context, with many company codes and purchasing org.
I am aware that vendor master data is at enterprise level in ESO. However while integrating to backend i need to capture the relevant co code and Purchasing org.
When the Purchaser wants to create a vendor, there does not seem anyway to enter which Purchasing org and company code the vendor should be created for.
Need your suggestions for the following options
1) capture co code and Purchasing org on bespoke fields and then in PI, pass these values to Co code and Purch org resp
2) create company contexts - would this resolve this? what are the implications if one vendor needs to be extended to multiple co codes
regards
SubroteHi,
Have you imported integration config workbook.
As part of ECC integartion guide we have couple of workbook and XML needs to integrated, which will create all the required extension for vendor master and vendor registration.
Once you imported the integration workbook, you will able to see the company code and purchasing org screens in vendor master.
Thank you,
Mani
