I thought the document contained an explanation of remote key mapping. Obviously it doesn't, sorry.
Setting up remote key mapping is a bit complicated.
First of all go to the MDM console and check your product category field in the main table (catalog items). Is key mapping set to "yes"?
then go to the data manager and switch to the table containing the product categories in record mode. Right click on any entry and check the remote key data. Are remote keys available for your product categories. I assume that there are no remote keys available - this is the reason the system behaves as you describe it.
Setting up remote keys for existing product categories AFAIK can only be done manually in Data Manager. Alternatively you can delete your hierarchy and create it once more, creating remote keys for every entry in the table. You can chose any remote system, it just has to be the same all the time.
In import manager you have to clode the code field of your product category (basically the material group number) and assign it once to the product category in MDM and once to the remote key.
Be sure to check your configuration in MDM Import Manager, the entry "Do not update record matching field value" needs to be set to no. Otherwise no remote keys are created.
Now you can import your categories creating your hierarchy, as usual. The remote keys are created automatically.
You should assign remote keys to all fields that should be matched in a similar way, UOM, currency etc.

ShivHi all, this may be too late based on the posted dates, but this is a current issue for me that I have found solution for now and I will post up anyways same thing. There is very little documentation so hopefully this is helpful for whoever else has unique requirements to use this delivered functionality.
Finally I am able to find a solution to this problem and now my system is tracking all status changes and providing me detail conveniantely on duration and time between status changes.
There are some table entries that need to be created plus a couple notes that will help. This applies to people who are not getting any data whatsoever in their CRMD_TSS_DTRACK table or 0CRM_TSS_DTRACK extractor.
Goto transaction --> SMW3FDCUST and make the following entries:
BDoc Type BUS_TRANS_MSG
Context mBDoc Notification (additional calls)
Sequence 50
Service Function CRM_UPLOAD_BW_TSS_DTRACK_SRV
and

To also ensure your statuses are being captured after all your configurations have been made, be sure that for these 2 key notes you have the approriate corrections existing in your system:
1024652 - This ensures your custom statuses groups are captured in table and extractor (once you have enhanced it of course)
1239530 - Ensures that all status changes are captured according to your configurations

Hi All,
In CRM Web UI, there is no multi selection option for product group id f4 help for Custmer event creation or edit screen under “Product” tab=> Product Group ID field.
Web UI Component Details -
UI component : TPMOE
View : TPMOE/ProductEOL
Context: PRODUCT Attribute : -PRODUCT_GRUOP
Click on Product Group ID field then below F4 Help screen appears.
In the product group results list, user can select only one row and Then all the product will be queried for selected product group, transferred to product list tab.
Current technical design for Product Group F4:
a) SE11 Data Dictionary search help “CRM_MKTPL_PGRP1” is used and data is fetched displayed based it( Refer method GET_V_PRODUCT_GROUP of context node class CL_TPMOE_PRODUCTEOL_CN00)
b) In UI, F4 pop up is handled by UI Framework in SAP generic manner so no multi selection is allowed.
c) A round trip event is triggered after selection of row from results which reload view with queried product result based group selected.
Requirement :-
In the product group F4 results list View, user should be able to select multiple row .As SAP GUI has the option of multiple entry selection from search help window with the help of field called MULTISEL.
System should query for products with all selected product group, transferred to product list tab.
Note: - The multi select options works fine for GUI, but for UI standard SAP code ignores this or never is this structure taken into consideration. Standard class to display F4 help on UI is CL_THTMLB_F4HELP.
Can we enforce same behavior like DDIC search help in Web UI too Or suggest how we can achieve this requirement?

Hi experts,
I have a problem transferring planed Sales quantities by product groups to SOP.
I did steps:
1. Planned sales quantities by material, KEPM.
2. Created product group with members material, MC84
3. Transferred planned sales quantities to SOP into inactive version, KE1E
I can see or change SOP for material (MC88, MC89), but plan for product group is empty (MC82, MC83)!!!! Iu2019ve tried to create sales plan for product group transferring it from COPA (MC82), but it doesnu2019t work. Accordingly Break down PG plan (MC76) doesnu2019t work because plan for product group is empty and there is nothing to distribute.
4. Iu2019ve checked planning type SOPKAPA for info structure S076. Structure row Sales has Aggregation method Total created. Iu2019ve tried to change planning type SOPKAPA, e.g. inserted new structure row. But for product group plan I see the same view, I mean there is no new structure row. Is it possible, that plan for product group used another planning type not SOPKAPA?
The main question is u2013 how to aggregate/ sum planned sales quantities for product group?

I guess,you know the limitations while transferring COPA plan data to SOP in PP module.
however,let me repeat 1.Unit of measure maintained in COPA module and PP module should be same.
further,2.You can transfer planning data to SOP at the product level or the product group level. If you want to plan and transfer data at the product group level, you need to create a characteristic (or characteristics) to represent the product group levels in SOP when you maintain your operating concern. Since in SOP product groups are stored as products in the database, make sure the characteristic you create for the product group has the same type and length as the characteristic "Product" (CHAR 18).
Kindly check these two limitations.

Data import from ECC to MDG via MDMGX tool for CC group and CC hierarchy

We currently in process of importing data from ECC to MDG (co-deployed).
The MDMGX guide we follow mention about Accout (ACCA), Cost Center(CCTR) and Profit Center (PCTR).
While doing DIF, it shows above 3 domains but didnt mention about how cost center group(CCTRG), Cost center hierarchy (CCTRH) and same with profit center group (PCTRG) and profit center hierarchy (PCTRH) will be imported to MDG?
is there seperate process to bring hierarchy data from ECC to MDG?

With MDMGX you can load individual master data but for group and hierarchies, you have to use the old procedure. If you ask me, then the MDMGX takes longer time rather that downloading the data in file from tables directly and upload it in MDG.

I have a internal table where employee name and employee group are maintained.
Next, i have other tables where employee name is there and his salary. now I want to add all the salaries of the employees with same groups, how can I do this.
for Example, I have employee group as ENG, DOC, NUR Etc. (Also I wanted to use some kind of dynamic conditions as emplyee groups might added latter in custom table.

Configuration for 0CO_PC_10 (new EHP4 content extractor for Product Costing
Has anyone tried to use new Prod Costing extractor 0CO_PC_10 that comes with ECC EHP4 upgrade?
THere seems to be some configuration or activation to be done in ECC via Transaction SFW5 .
SFW5 seems to be for activating business function sets, which seems to be a new ECC activity with EHP4 content.
When trying to use extractor 0CO_PC_10 in RSA3, we get an error "Errors occured during the extraction"
which implies something is not yet configured or activated ECC to support this extractor.
Likely a COPA configuration activity?
Appreciate any hints from anyone who has used extractor 0CO_PC_10 already?

Product Group capacity can not be seen in MF50 output
Dear All,
I can not see the product group in 'total capacity' subscreen in output of planning table MF50.
In MF50 the input parameter i am entering is product group and plant.
In the scheduling tab of input parameters detailed scheduling and capacity planning is tick.
For some product groups i can see in output as "Product Groups / Total Capacity" and also in the rows below it shows "Prod.Grp XYZ" then requirement and available quantity rows. After which the production line rows follows.
For some product groups when enter in initial selection screen of MF50 with same input parameters in output i do not see Product group but i can see "Total Capacity Data" and then the rows starts with production lines. But no information on capacity of product group.
The setup of all product group is same and are created with MM01.

In 'Control Tab' i am not selecting any parameter. So in output i can see all materials in 'Material Data' section which are included in product group irrespective of requirements.
I have issue in upper half section of 'Total Capacity Data'. I can see the different production line rows with Requirement / Available rows with capacity values in each period. Unit is %.
But i do not see 1st row for Product group row with 2 subsequent rows (requirement / available) with unit KG.
I can see these rows only for some product groups but not for all.
For the product groups for which i do not see these rows have capacity requirement in selected periods which can be seen in same output in production lines rows. (where selection in input screen is product group and plant)

System Response
A material typically has an MRP-relevant indicator if it is a member of more than one product group. You set this indicator in the product group from which you want the material to be transferred to Demand Management. This prevents planning data for the same material from being transferred to Demand Management multiple times from different product groups.
Procedure
Transfer materials to Demand Management from their MRP-relevant product groups.

AD query -- trouble with group.member list
Hello,
I'm attempting to create an AD query that filters for certain groups and all the members of those groups. I start with the groups table and filter to get the groups of interest. No problems so far.
When I expand the group column to pick up the "member" column, I get group.member and the cell values have changed from "Record" to "List." When I expand "List" I can tell I'm at the right level of granularity,
because the number of rows has increased, and the group names are repeated for the number of members in a group. The problem is that the group.member field now shows "Record" again. I can't expand on it. And when I click on any of the "Record"
links, I can see the individual's name.
Any ideas on how I'm to get the name to show up in the full result set rather than needing to click on the "Record" link? Searching for "Power Query" with "record" has been...unhelpful (expectedly so).

The second stage (1st screenshot) is immediately after I expand the group column and select "member." I show the bottom view, too, which shows the three records associated with this list (the correct number of users in that AD group).
When I "expand" group.member, it changes from List to Record and there is now one row for each user in a group. However, when I go to pick the displayName column from group.member, it gives me the message "No columns were found." Yet,
when I select the group.member value, I can see in the view below that there is a displayName. (See 2nd screenshot.) Note that I filtered the records in the third screenshot to just a single group -- 3 records.
Does this additional information help isolate what I might be experiencing?

I think for some particular versions you can create a product group directly using T code MC84, and if u have got a material type say PROD-Product group,then use mm01 for creating a product group. And then you can do the change in MC86 for product group.

Look into table, JEST, JSTO, AFPO & AFKO. CAUFV filed OBJNR, TJ02T filed ISTAT.
But, it is very difficult to combine the details like Order and System status.
Take the help of your ABAPer to generate Report for you.

WSUS Manage Approval for different Groups
We have different products the the company hosts and they require that servers be patched on Test servers prior to a code release. Once the the servers are tested then the same set of patches should be deployed to the production servers during a scheduled
time when the code is released to the production servers. And that is the case for other products but the cycle between the product is always different. So we always want test group be product match the production group by product. What is the best solution
to implement for this type of environment to be able to approve any missing update to the test group for a product and when time comes how to push the same updates to production groups.
The way I have it seems messy because i have bunch of nested groups by datacenter > product name > purpose of the server "wether it is QA webserver, prod webserver, dev webserver, other servers,
etc... and what i do is from Update Reports, run "Update Status Summary" report on the test group that has a status of "Needed, Failed, No Status" and from there approve the updates to that test group. Install the updates, etc... and then
when I want to deploy the updates to certain groups, I run the "Updated Tabular Status for Approved Updates", select the same test group that was deployed to and the option "Installed/NotApplicable, Needed" and approve to the Production
group. Seems like I am doing this all wrong. Appreciate the help. Thanks.Hi,
I’m not sure if I have got your idea correctly. After you approved for test group, and there is any problem. You need approve for production group or all computer group.
