    Hello,
    I noticed that for interaction records or follow up business activities the dates are not displayed at all in the IC. Is there a way make the configured dates (in date profile) visible in the IC?

    Hi Raghavendran,
    I am facing the same problem. Other than Appointments,Tasks,Email and Interaction record I cannot create any other Activities.
    I defined a new Transaction type assigned the category Misc but cannot create the Activity on WEBUI. As Raja suggested I have also assigned the Channel as WEBUI and ICWEBCLIENT but still does not work. Is there any Role specific customization that needs to be performed?
    Please let me know if your issue is resolved and how you resolved it.

  • Transaction type for interaction record

    Hi All,
       I created Z transaction for interaction record(transaction type 0010).But on UI instead of Z transaction,standard transaction is coming.Channel for Z transaction is maintained.
      All settings given in best practice have been maintained.
      Please let me know what can be the issue?

    have you assigned your business transaction profile to your business role?
    transaction CRMC_UI_PROFILE.
    Select your IC-businessrole --> Assign function profile:
    Function profile ID = IC_BT
    Maintain here your Z-Profile.

    The header data of the interaction record (incl. description) is saved in table CRMD_ORDERADM_H.
    The reason code can be found in table CRMD_SRV_SUBJECT.
    The connection between CRMD_ORDERADM_H and the CRMD_SRV_SUBJECT is rather complex:
    CRMD_ORDERADM_H --> CRMD_LINK --> CRMD_SRV_OSSET --> CRMD_SRV_SUBJECT
    get transaction guid from crmd_orderadm_h.
    get guid_set from crmd_link where crmd_link-guid_hi = transaction guid and objtype_set = 29.
    select guid from crmd_srv_osset where guid_set = guid_set found above in crmd_link table.
    select * from crmd_srv_subject where guid_ref is in all guid's found above.
    The text can be found in table STXH. I guess you need a function module (READ_TEXT) to
    retrieve the text.

  • Cancel button for interaction records ICWC

    Hi experts.
    I want to add the standard button "CANCEL" for interaction records in ICWC interface. This button is enabled for the resto of transactions but not for the interaction record one. Do you have any idea?

    For CRM versions before CRM7.0, the only way to avoid Interaction record creation is to implement BADI
    CRM_IC_IARECORD. But be aware that it may have some negative impacts depending on the scenario you are using...

  • Object for interaction records, service tickets and follow-up activities

    I need business objects or Function modules(anything) that contains the data realted to interaction records, service tickets, and follow-up.Please help me by mailing to my mail [email protected]

    My question was answered by Experts.
    1.I tried with the code to retirve GUID,HEADER/ITEM Guid's related to the BPnumber from CRMF_ORDER_INDEX table.
    2.I have stored header/item GUID's in different internal tables and append all the values that fetched above with in the loop.
    3. Clear header/item guid's,that they can have next value in the loop.(Important)
    4.Next step call the FM CRM_ORDER_READ with in the loop and assign import/export parameters.
    4.Display the records.

  • Change log for Interaction record

    Hi,
    While creating the interaction record  , i am entering some text in the "Notes" textbox  and other required details .
    In the change log it is maintaining all the entries except for Notes .
    My requirement is to compare the old & the new Notes text.
    So anyone please let me know whether this Notes text is stored in the change log and from where we can get its old value .

    I want to know one thing that when i am reading that text data in the component ICCMP_BTTEXT , view TextView , Contextnode bttext method get_tdline .
    I have to modify the text before displaying it . But when i am using the method get_property_as_value , it is returning me only the first 255 lines  .Please let me know how to get the full text

  • Follow Up and task for Interaction Record

    we have IC Web and need to create Follow up and Task as follow up task  from the interaction record.

    I was maybe a little bit too fast:-)
    Goto spro->CRM->interaction center webclient->business transaction profiles.
    There you find some entries, select the business transaction profile that is attachted to your ICweb main profile.
    Here you have an entry trans. type where you can select your interaction record transaction type, this is considered your 'leading' transaction type. A leading transaction type is the transaction that always will be created when an interaction occurs in the webclient. If you created some entries in the copy-control customizing action for your interaction record (let's say trans type= ZINT) like I explained in earlier post, you should check that the same transaction type is used here, the ZINT.
    When you select your business transaction profile you see some options on the left ('Dependent bus trans', 'assign price type and price type list' and 'content management templates').
    Select 'Dependent business transactions'. Here you can enter your transaction types that are applicable for your scenarios, you see four radiobutton options 'Sales', 'Service', 'Lead' and 'complaint'. Here you can choose which transaction type to be used in what scenario. If you enter here your sales order transaction and flag 'Sales' as scenario it should appear in the follow-up dropdownlistbox in the interaction record view. (And is also used as trans type when you select 'sales order' in the navigation bar in the webclient) The same counts for complaints.

  • Responsible Group Assignment for Interaction Record

    The Functional configuration team is trying to determine how to assign an interaction record to Responsible Group and not to an individual User.   If anyone has any suggestions or experience with how the responsible group can work, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Currently you have the parner function Interaction center agent in you Interaction record i.e why it is assigning it to the user.
    Interaction Record of ICWC is nothing but a business activity in the CRM online system ,if you want the responsible group to be attached to the Interaction record ,please assign the partner function Responsible Group to the Partner determination procedure assigned to your business activity as stated by sridhar..

  • Interaction Record and Multi Level Categorization

    Hello Forum,
    I would like to know if any one has implemented Multi level categorization for Interaction record in SAP CRM Web IC 7.0.
    If so how did you acheive this.
    I have done the following
    -     Create Catalogs, Codes and Code groups
    -     Create Subject profile
    -     Create Categorization schema with default subject profile.
    I could not assign Subject Profile to Transaction Type and also in the only default Subject Profile  is displayed .
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I tried to create customized catalog with Category "F" which is Activity -Reason and the system did not allow me.
    So i used A1 (SAP delivered)  which has category "F" and used it  to assign Code Group Profile and Code Groups.
    I created Subject Profile with Subject Category "F" and assigned the Code Group Profile.
    I have not usedc the Transaction for assigning subject profile and Status to Transaction Type as i do not need it.
    There is not provision to directly assign subj profile to Transaction type as like service request.
    I went through the route of assigning Subj profile to Transaction Type header and another place of assigning them in the category schema.
    This is where i do not see the Customized subject profile which i have created.
    Can you tell me where exactly i can Determine of categorization schema based on transaction type/catalog category combination.

  • Multi Level Categorization in Interaction Record

    Hello Gurus!
    We are implementing CRM 7.0 and setting up multi level categorization for interaction records and service ticket. I have managed to set up all the required config and the categorization schema in Web IC. It is working in service ticket. However, for interaction record in web IC, the problem is that in the Categorization Tab, there are no fields showing up. I tried adding the fields but there seems to be none similar to service ticket where the fields for Level 1, Level 2, etc... can be seen.
    Have you got any idea on how to make the Level fields show up in the interaction records so we can test the multi level categorization for IR?

    I have gone into IC manager role and used categorization schema and i cannot see my customized Catalog for Business activity.
    I have checked Category of the catalog which i have manually created and it is "Activity-reason" .
    I have tried using the default catalog and added my Codes into it and created Scema but i do not see the categorization in Web IC and more over the Subject feild is in active. I have added the code groups and code feilds and they are displaying a error message.

  • Attaching e-mails to the interaction record(Activity) via ERMS set up

    Hi Experts,
                     1. Activity (Interaction record) to be created  automatically on receiving an email.
                     2. Once the acitivity is created then it must be routed to employee responsible based on certain rules.
               For the above requirement we are trying to config ERMS.
    During the creation of an activity it should be possible attach ( link ) the e-mail or documents to the interaction record via ERMS set up. Do we need to do any configuration to attach the e-mails to the interaction record (Activity) . Please provide inputs on this requirement.

    Hello Lakshmana.P,
    Typically you would not actually route an Interaction Record (IR). If some follow up action is required, it is a best practice to create a service ticket. The IR creation is more appropriate for situations in which ERMS can auto-respond with a solution to an easy question about e.g., shipping rates, return policies, retail locations, or whatever. There are default actions for routing service tickets, but not for interaction record.

  • Set default result in interaction record

    Hello gurus,
    Could you  please share any idea how it is possible to set default Interaction Record result? By default it is blank and user needs to select the value from the list on the IR page, but it is not convinient. Unfortunately I can't find the way how to do that.

    Hello,
    I suppose you're talking about the "Goal" field of the Interaction Record?
    This can be done quite easily, first you need to know the transaction type of the interaction record you use. (the SAP standard transaction type for interaction record is '0010')
    In SPRO>CRM>Transaction-->Define Transaction Types.
    Look for your transaction type for IR (SAP std 0010) and select it, then select 'Assignment of business transaction categories'  and select 'BUS2000126 Business Activity'. Then select 'Customizing header' and there you can default the header values including the default value for 'Goal'.

  • Webclient Interaction record for R/3 sales order

    Hi,
    we need to capture the interaction record for each and every call related to order. we don't want to use the webclient or pcui sales order becuase of their limitations... we want all the feature of R/3 sales order like extended material search, purchase order type.... kind of fields and search help on them.
    so what is the best way to approach if we want the order to be created in R/3 and capture the interaction record? would a regular BOR call from webclient for R/3 Sales Order would do it?

    I would suggest we still use the Interaction Record Functionality in IC Web . So thi is what I am suggesting :
    1.  Customer calls in for placing a Order
    2. CSR receives the call ( CTI  ) and Confirms the Account . Once Clicked on Confirm , you can auto navigate to Interaction Record View
    3. CSR can capture whatever details , INtereaction Record Specific ( Like IR Type -> Order etc )  ,  and Save to create the IR .
    4. Once Saved , You can dynamically make available , Button or Navigational Link 'Create Order' ( Will Only appear if IR Type is 'Order' etc )  . 
    Now Clickin on Create Order , you have different options
    i) Launch into ECC ( VA01 ) using Transaction launcher to Create the Order
    ii) If you are on CRM 5.0 , make use of the new CRM Sales Order Creation ( This Basically provides a very Intuitive BSP View , however the Orders are getting created in ECC Itself , No Replication required )

  • How to see results for surveys in CIC Interaction record under script prfl?

    Dear Experts,
    In Interaction Record>Under Script tab> I have filled a survey-> upon entering all answers and saving->System showing a message, that survey has been sucessfully saved.
    But I dont know where these surveys are getting stored. and I could not find the created survey or results next time when I opened the same Interaction record.
    Kindly tell me where can we find the survey results, which is created under Script tab in Interaction Record.
