Airport Card finds network and says connected but won't let me on internet!

My airport is on and finds a network, shows full strength of signal (like it's done for the past 8 months). But it has stopped letting me onto the internet. Safari and Mail hang and say they are not connected. If I go ahead and plug the ethernet cable in (from same network) it starts up fine. I live in a hotel and have done the same thing for 8 months, why today would it start doing this? Can anyone help. This is my first mac and I haven't the foggiest how to deal with this. I've turned airport off, restarted, turned it back on etc. It always finds a signal and says it's ready, but won't let me onto the internet. Thanks for any help you have.

Is the internet service also password protected? (As in, do you need a password for both the wireless and for the internet connection?) If so, then when you run the "assist me" option you should set up a PPP connection. That's my situation but I still have problems with it remembering my settings after rebooting or disconnecting...

Brought album on preorder, Itunes saying I have purchased it, but won't let me download or buy again!

I preordered AM by the Arctic Monkeys, it was released on the 9th September. It still has not downloaded or gives me any options to download or even rebuy it. I had to change my card details which may have stopped the transation, this has now been sorted but it is still in the same 'purchased' stage and won't let me do anything. I can only listen to the preview of each song.

That is true. you purchase one download only of music/vids/etc.
You can redownload apps only.
Did you update without making sure that you had transferred all purchases from the ipod to itunes? not good.
From the itunes store terms of service:
"PRODUCTS CAN BE DOWNLOADED ONLY ONCE; AFTER BEING DOWNLOADED, THEY CANNOT BE REPLACED IF LOST FOR ANY REASON. YOU SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BACKING UP YOUR OWN SYSTEM, INCLUDING ANY PRODUCTS PURCHASED OR RENTED FROM THE ITUNES STORE THAT ARE STORED IN YOUR SYSTEM."
You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception. They are under no obligation to allow.

Aiport is connected but won't let me online

We decided yesterday to move some furniture and when we went to plug the internet stuff back in, it all of a sudden didn't work after working fine all morning. We were very careful so no, nothing was dropped or bumped or anything like that.
I can connect to the internet when I have my MackBook directly connected to the modem via ethernet but I can't wirelessly connect to the internet with my Airport. I can wirelessly print through my Airport and that's about it. It says that it's connected and when I run the diagnostic test through the Network System Preferences, it says I'm connected and everything is working. I even have an IP address.
I've reset and reset and reset. I've talked to Comcast 5 times. They say it's the Airport but I don't understand how if it was working fine earlier in the day and all we did was unplug it and plug it back in. We did just downgrade our internet (because Comcast is so expensive) and it might have taken them a few days to do the change, so could that be the problem? Does the AirPort have to have a certain speed internet to work? Comcast told us that might be the problem... so I'm trying to find out what speed we need for it to work and on top of that, if that could be the problem at all.

Just to be sure, let's double-check your AirPort Extreme Base Station's (AEBS) connection with the modem.
Modem > (Ethernet cable) > \[WAN port "circle-of-dots"] AEBS >>> (wireless) >>> wireless client(s)
Does this match your setup? If so, then I suggest that you perform a complete power recycle of your network components in the following order:
Power Down
o Computer(s)
o AEBS
o Modem
Power Up
o Modem; wait 15 minutes.
o AEBS; wait 10 minutes.
o Computer(s)

Bonjour sees my printer but won't let me connect to it.

We've got a canon mp460 hooked up via USB to our mac mini which runs 10.5. I installed bonjour on my new laptop, which runs vista. The printer wizard SEES the printer, but when I try to connect to it I get a message that says "You do not have sufficient access to your computer to connect to the selected printer"
I've turned off all the firewalls, enabled printer sharing, and everything else I can think of. Any thoughts?

*I got it to work after the Bonjour Printer Wizard proved ineffective.*
Here is what I did:
1. Installed the iP4500 printer driver from CD (v 2.11) while the printer was connected to my WinXP machine with a USB cable.
2. Reconnected printer to AEBS and restarted AEBS.
3. Select 'Add a new printer' in Windows
4. Select 'Local Printer' in the dialog box (auto detect and install
should be off), click next.
5. Choose 'Create a new port' and "Standard TCP/IP Port'. Click next.
6. For the printer IP address, enter the address of the base station 10.0.1.1.
*7. Set Port Number: 9103*
- The one time the Bonjour Print Wizard saw my iP4500 and set it up, it append '9103' to the location name. I assumed it selected port 9103. After trying ports 9100, 9101, and 9102 (which all failed to work), I successfully connected with port 9103. Oddly, the Bonjour port still does not work.
8. Click next.
9. For the device type, choose 'Canon iP4500 series', then click Finish.
10. Choose your printer from the list and follow the rest of the prompts to install and configure the driver.
*It now prints color duplex from my WinXP machine across the wireless network.*

In your case I would check the router and WLan configuration again.
I mean you could try to disable the encryption in WLan router and could try to connect to open wireless lan.
You should update the WLan driver too:

My search media bar brings up the stuff I want when I search for it but won't let me click on the results for anything.

Hi guys, I've been having troubles with my search bar for searching media in itunes. It worked a while ago but now when I search it brings up results and the results I want but it won't let me click them for anything. I can't go to the song, album or artist or add it to the song queue. It's really annoying to go through my library and search for a specific song without using the search. Please Help!

you said you turned your phone off. was it a reboot, or an off? Ive noticed that if the memory is low and you have
a lot of apps or processes running, it really causes the system lag. Try holding down the top button and home button at the same time. Then wait until it has powered down. In 60 sec or so, restart it the same way. Should fix your issue. There is an app I use called Lite Scan. It allows me to see what is running and it will free up 30mg at a time. Not much granted but enuf to keep the system from going to a crawl.
as far as your device in itunes goes, open itunes, without your phone connected. look in the advance settings and make sure everything is as it should be. Back up your data and try again. good luck

This appears to be a normal cable modem. Suggest that you try the steps in this User Tip posted by forum expert Tesserax:
AirPort - Complete Power Recycle
To allow the modem to fully reset, be sure to leave it powered off at least 15-20 minutes. Longer will not hurt. I sometimes had to leave my modem powered off up to 90 minutes when I was using a different Internet Service Provider for it to completely reset.
If the AirPort still will not allow multiple devices to connect to the network, it would be a good idea to take the AirPort to an Apple Store....if you have one near you....to let them take a look.

Quit iPhoto.
Launch the Mac App Store. Select Account under Quick Links.
Click the Edit button to the right of Payment Information
Make sure your billing information is correct including the expiration date and security code then click Done.

It depends on what iPhone you have.
If it's an iPhone 4S or earlier, click here.
If it's an iPhone 5, you need to buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD, and that requires an Intel Mac with at least 1GB RAM.

What do you mean it won't let you? What exactly does it say? (Sorry to sound so exasperated but this is like the 6th post in a row where people have made vague statements which do little to help us find solutions without a game of 20 questions.) I'm going to guess and say you can only deauthorize a computer to which you have physical access or VPN login. The alternative is to deauthorize all which you can only do once a year.

Until you get a UK bank account and credit card, buy and redeem UK iTunes gift cards for use in the iTunes and Mac App Stores. But you need to switch your region/country to the UK store in your account information, as you can't use UK iTunes gift cards in the Irish stores, the gift cards are country specific.
