Homepage (1 only) set as Google. Everytime I open Firefox, aside from the Google homepage, another tab opens to explain how to set a home page. How do I stop this nuisance?

By the way, what is the getplusadobe16287 plug-in for?
Solved it. Turns out that when I set my homepage, I inadvertently set myself 2 home pages. By going into "Options", on the General tab, I simply deleted the second home page. Figure I'll work out what the plugin is as well.

I see that when you use ePrint, via Google Cloud printing, the documents are printed two-sided. Are you using a computer, mobile device, Chromebook, etc, to access the printer?
If you print from a computer, for example, not using Google Cloud print or ePrint, does it print two-sided on its own?
You can check the Eco setting on the printer's front panel to ensure that the two-sided options are set to "Off".
Check to make sure the printer has the most recent updates installed on the printer, Getting the Latest Firmware and Product Updates.

Everytime I plug my phone into to sync, Itunes starts downloading the same rented movie over and over. I go in and delte it from my library but it does it again. How can I stop this from happening?
The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

ITunes 10.6 quit unexpectedly, everytime I open it. How can I fix this?
I have iTunes 10.6. , Today, iTunes starting shutting down with a pop up saying that the application quit unexpectedly. Does anyone know how to fix it?
I have the same problem. It opens, a window message appears saying it has to shut down and bääm its gone.
I already deleted i tunes and put a new one on my laptop (Windows Vista) and it still wont work.

I am trying to use tab groups. My problem is that everytime I restart Firefox, any tab groups I made in the previous session are no longer there. How do I stop this from happening?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).
Make sure that you use the location bar and not the (Google) search bar.

My old version of Firefox had the option for me to set multiple home pages. My hard drive recently failed and had to be replaced, so I had to install the newest version of Firefox. The only option I see when I go to tools, options, general is to set the one home page. (and maybe tabs) I would like to open several of the same pages every time I open my Firefox. Does anyone know how to get this back, or which version had this feature so I can downgrade to that particular version?
Also, I was wondering if there is a way to get the bookmarks I had on the old version back. I think they are lost forever, but if anyone knows, I would be thankful. I do still have the old hard drive, but the way it failed was actually when you tried to open any browser, the hard drive would go and blue screen, this is why the old hard drive had to be replaced. As for recovering your bookmarks, you can try to plug that hard drive into a working computer, and then read [[Recovering important data from an old profile]] to copy your bookmarks from it. However, if it is failing you may not be able to do that. -
Up to about a month ago, I never had any problems setting my Home Page to Using Current Pages. Then, all of a sudden, I am unable to make any changes to my Home Page no matter what I change the settings to. I work for the US Forest Service and I don't know if some program was loaded that prohibits any changes from being made. Any help would be most appreciated.

Firefox android opens to about.config as home page. unable to set new home page
firefox android always opens new tab or browser session on about:config page.
I've restarted browser and tablet(Samsung Galaxy Tab 3), and this behavior still persists.
All google searches suggest that the firefox android browser home page cannot be changed but this is obviously not true.
I've tried solutions that suggest navigating to about:home and modifying bookmarks and these paths do not work.
The awesome bar is far from awesome!!!!!!
How do I stop the browser from starting at about:config and how can I make the home page be what I want?In the about:config page entry on the desktop there is a homepage entry, but does not show up on my android, odd.
Try this > Settings > Customize > Home
Change setting here and open a new tab to see if changes are made.
Also check the about:addons page to see if you have any homepage add ons that has saved the about:config page as the home page.

Why is that when I am composing a new message do I end up with multiple versions of my message I am composing up in my Google Trash mailbox? How can I stop this from happening?
It was very hard to see what the box says because the message displays for less than one second. However, I was able to record it with my iphone and pause it until I got a shot of the message. The box says the following:
"Do you want the application “java” to accept incoming network connections?
Clicking deny may limit the application’s behavior. This setting can be changed in the Firewall pane of Security preferences."
I did make some changes. I will see if it works.
