How to get content item out of work flow automatically

hi experts,
my requirement is that Contributor will contribute the Content , and provide the content publish Date.
When contributor contribute content, content goes in workflow. I want auto approval of workflow so that when Publish Date actually comes, Content is out of workflow and published on site.
Is there any way to achieve this ??
Or is there any way that when publish date comes, meta-data of the content item changed....?
Thanks

try putting your date comparitor and wfExit() code in the update event of the step the content item is in.
You may need to wait up to an hour after the time/date elapses before the comparitor evaluates to true and kicks content out of the workflow.
However, you should really evaluate the reason you're using workflow in the first place. It looks like you're using it as a holding ground.
I recommend using the dReleaseDate field to prevent the item from being indexed and released to the search results.
Then use subscriptions (e.g. push subscriptions) to handle the notification.
If you need more advanced subscription and notification capability take a look at our Subscription Notifier product: http://bit.ly/ENRwq
Hope this helps
Warmly,

  • Cannot get the optical out to work

    I have a new Apple TV 3rd gen and mainly lovin it. Bit, I Canon get the optical out to work with my reciever. I have trind severeal cables, i have connected correctly and configured the reciever to play correct optical in bit still no sound. I have a Onkyo TX-SR 500e. Amy hints would be appreciated but i would prefer not to buy a new reciever...

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    Have you tried adjusting the "Audio Out" and the "Dolby Digital" settings in settings > audio and video? It may be worth trying several combinations of these settings, although typically it is the "Dolby Digital" setting that causes most problems for users.
    Also make sure that you have correctly mapped the input port on your sound system to the output, if you are unsure about how to do this, refer to the manual that came with your sound system.
    Have you tried playing various content sources (i.e. podcasts, music, iTunes Store video, other video etc), do you have the same problem with all types of comments? You might also check that you can see a red light at the end of your optical audio cable. Is your optical audio cable plugged straight into your sound system, or does it go through a switch or other device?

  • How to get imac 27 inch to work with asus triple mionitors to work through matro triple head 2 go

    how to get imac 27 inch to work with asus triple mionitors to work through matro triple head 2 go

    I think I got a little ahead of myself explaining my problem, so let me clarify...
    Only the one iMac is having the network file deletion problem, but it is included in the network user logon problem.  So 4 out of 5 of the iMacs have had or are having logon problems with network users accounts using mobile accounts on the systems.  2 of the 4 I have wiped and started over on and the other 2 have different network accounts being used by the primary system users.  The 5th iMac has not caused any problems except I forgot to mention that the USB on it seems flaky.
    So we are apparently full of problems.

  • How to get List Item attachments name without write any custom code or any database query?

    Hi,
    How to get List Items attachments name without write any custom code or any database query?

    You can get it from Rest,
    There are 2 options,
    1) create a 'Result Source' which has a search query for that List which has attachments
     - Use rest query to get the 'Filename' , it will have the attachment file name
    For example, if the result source id is : 73e6b573-abf8-4407-9e5f-8a85a4a95159 , then the query will be
    http://[site URL]/_api/search/query?querytext='*'&selectproperties='Title,Path,FileExtension,SecondaryFileExtension,Filename'&sourceid='73e6b573-abf8-4407-9e5f-8a85a4a95159'&startrow=0&rowLimit=100
    You can refine the query, be giving proper 'querytext'
    2) Use the List rest api
    For example if your list guid is :38d524a1-e95c-439f-befd-9ede6ecd242e
    You can get he attachments for 1st item using this
    http://[Site URL]/_api/lists(guid'38d524a1-e95c-439f-befd-9ede6ecd242e')/items(1)/AttachmentFiles

  • How to get po item condition type according schema group

    hi experts,
    i want to get po item condition type according schema group.
    for example, in xk03, if the "schema group, vendor"in purchasing data view is set to 'Z3', in the purchase order which is made for this vendor, the po item's gross price condition type is hwxx.
    if the "schema group, vendor" is set to 'Z2', the po item's gross price condition type is pbxx.
    my question is : how to get po item condition type according schema group?
    hunger for ur advice and thanks a lot!

    several steps you need to go
    1. you need to get the purcahsing group schema against your purchasing group from table T024E.
    2. get the vendor group schema from vendor master data table LFxxxxxx
    3. get the pricing schema from table TMKS via the selection criteria purchasing group schema and vendor group schema
    4. go to the table T683S via inputing Usage, application and pricing determination procedure.
    5. now you got it.

  • How to get all kind of GP work items for all users

    Dear all:
       Basing GP implementation,we can only get the single user's work item. Is that possible to get all of the users' work items,and can filter the work item via time field?
      thanks a lot.

    ISearchResult result=UMFactory.getUserFactory().getUniqueIDs();
                   IUser iuser;
                   while(result.hasNext())
                        iuser=UMFactory.getUserFactory().getUser(result.next().toString());
    The above code retrives all the users from the UME
    IGPUserContext context = GPContextFactory.getContextManager().createUserContext(iuser);
    IGPWorkItem[] workitems = GPProcessFactory.getRuntimeManager().getWorkItems(GPWorkItemStatus.getTypeForCode("1"), context);
    You will get the WorkListItems in the workitems array. The type for code which is 1 currently, must be changed according to the requirement. It is different for Completed, Inprogress Tasks, etc.
    Hope this will help you!

  • How to get first item of hashMap w/out knowing the key

    Hi
    can someone tell me if there is a way to get first item from a hashMap when you dont know what the key is. as the get method expects a defined 'key'
    reason I am asking this:
    I am using struts 2 UI <s:radio> tag. this tag takes a hashmap and creates radio maps. it has a 'value' attribute and if something is passed to this attribute then that radio button is checked by default. the list that contains radio buttons is created dynamically so i dont know what is actually in the hashMap key's. but i do know that key's are string.
    so just wondering if there is a way to get first item from a hashmap without knowing the key...

    thanks for the quick reply.
    posted in java forums because thought it was a java API/workaround question. gave a little history because i didnt want people to start questioning my use of HashMap for this purpose..
    anywhose..i've found a workaround.
    If someone has a similar problem:
    as the hashmap is being populated dynamically....set a String member of class to contain the first key thats being put in the hashmap. then have struts tag pick up that value.
    also, through your post and reading hashMap api...its usefull to know that hasMaps do not gurantee the order of elements in it. So now I am using a TreeMap.
    Thanks

  • How to get murrine dust theme to work? (new concept theme for ubuntu)

    Hrm, I'm not quite sure what you mean.  I don't see "profile" anywhere in the gtkrc - everything seems to be labeled as "style" already.

  • How to get content assist for Facelets with ICEFaces 1.8,RAD 7.5,+WAS6.1

    We use RAD 7.5 and WAS 6 to run ICEFaces 1.8.
    I added Facelets by following the instructions in ICEFaces "TimeZone Getting Started."
    When I installed Facelets, I found I was missing el-ri-1.0.jar. So I googled the jar, found one from lord-knows-where, and stuck it in. It did the trick.
    Facelets works great, but I don't have content assist for ui.
    My jsp:root is:
    <jsp:root version="1.2" xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page"
    xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"
    xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html"

    How do I get content assist for ui?
    Thanks,

    Hi Soma,
    that will not work. The measure is related to Activity id. The measure value per row is not value for LastActivityid.
    I want to show the measure value for last activity id and not this activity id. So there is an indirect relationshipid. Ideally the path would be :
    Activity id --> Figure out the last activity id for this activity id --> Get the measure value for last activity id..
