How to remove approval templates in approval procedures

Dear sir,
How to remove approval templates in approval procedures. I have remove some approval templates but some one are not removed. that time i got one error that is "Cannot remove. There are existing authorization processes based on the current template. [Message 3621-8]" , If it is not removed any solution is there to remove that approval template
Plz tell me how to solve this problem with step by step procedure in sap business one 2007B.

Perhaps this may help you. We have had a similar problem regarding making changes to an existing Approval Stage process since we updated to 8.81 PL07.
We used to be able to make changes to the authoriser for an approval stage (i.e. change the authoriser to a different person), but in PL07 onwards I believe SAP have put in place checks to ensure better consistency of data. Basically, if there are pending approvals based on an approval stage, then you cannot make changes to that Approval Stage until those approval requests have all been processed, i.e. either APPROVED or REJECTED. You have to make sure that there are no outstanding approvals, before the system will let you change the Approval Stage.
This was our scenario:
We had an Approval Template using an Approval Stage. The approval was for Sales Orders. We had to make sure that there were no Pending Approvals for Sales Orders. You can check for these by Administration->Approval Procedures->Approval Status Report.
After this, we also had to make sure that any Sales Orders (drafts) that have already been APPROVED, but have not yet been ADDED were either then ADDED, CLOSED or REMOVED. We used the DOCUMENT DRAFTS REPORT in SALES REPORTS to find any still OPEN draft orders that had an approval status of APPROVED. Use the Forms Setting to display the STATUS and APPROVAL STATUS columns in this report.

i need to write a user query for approval template terms that chek for any price zero in invoice items .
i tried the true query

however the invoice executed without asking for approval procedurs.
any help will be appreciated!!

Its not possible on row level Price.
Try to Document total procedure, it will work.
SELECT Distinct 'True' FROM OINV T0 WHERE $[OINV.DocTotal]='0.00'

1) Find the templates :

How to remove a template report or save one in another file

I saved a basic report form I'd made in "My Templates" in Numbers. Now, I've used it to make a monthly report for my organization and want to save that report in the organization's file, not in "My Templates". How do I do this"? Also, I'd like to remove monthly reports from "My Templates". How do I do that? I couldn't find any help in HELP.

This response applies to Numbers '09, operating under Mac OS X version 10.8.x (Mountain Lion). It may not be accurate for the same version operating under OS X v10.7.x (Lion).
If your original report form was saved using File > Save as Template, Number will have automatically placed it into your My Templates folder, and it will appear in the My Templates section of the Templates Chooser.
When you choose that template to open a new document, the new document will open as "Untitled"
Click Save at this point to open the Save dialogue.
Change the Name of the document in the Save As: box. (hilited)
IF the dialogue shows only the Save AS: box, the Where: popup and two buttons (Save and Cancel), as seen above, click the disclosure triangle to the right of the Save AS box to get the display below (plus a list of the files and folders in the folder indicated in the pop-up)
Change the destination folder by navigating to the one in which you want it saved. (Pop-up below the title box, and file/folder list in window)
When the pop-up shows the name of the folder in which you want to save the document, Click Save.
Now begin working on the document you have created, named, and shown Numbers where you want saved.
Numbers will now automatically save that document in that folder when you press command-S or choose Save from the File menu.
You need to go through the steps above for each new document.

By accident I have saved some documents under My Templates in Pages. Is there any way to remove them?

I found the answer. You have to use finder and go to the Library, then to iWork, then to Pages, then My Templates. You then send them to the trash or drag and drop them somewhere else.

How to remove .dwt templates from Creative Cloud Business Catalyst site?

Hi,
I've created a site in Dreamweaver using one of my free creative cloud sites. There is a site structure automatically in place that is using the .dwt Dreamweaver templates with editable regions. I've found this is really impairing my workflow and I would like to convert the site to just using regular .html templates without editable regions.
When I try to upload a template file with a .html extension via SFTP I get a permissions error. I haven't found any other way around this either.
Can someone help me convert the site from using .dwt templates to using .html templates without editable regions?

Hi Jeff,
All files including templates on BC are .html based. IF you have .dwt files on there it is because you did not go through the DW BC tool or extension(older DW) and just uploaded them. Delete them - BC does not use them if you have those on the host.
In terms of just directly uploading you need to ensure two things with templates.
1. The folder locally is EXACTLY the same spelling and capitalisation as the host.
2. The html file template HAS TO HAVE {tag_pagecontent} there to be classed as a template.
I think 2 may be your issue?

How to remove iDVD Template Drop Zones?

Hi! I'm looking to remove all drop zones from iDVD to have a simple black background that could be replaced with a .mov file.
Essentially, I'd like to remove the 3 drop zones from the "Modern" 7.0 theme.

This is from iDVD Help: _Adding or hiding drop zones_
The drop zones in a theme are a permanent part of the graphics or animations included in that theme. Therefore, you can’t add drop zones, delete individual drop zones, or change the location of drop zones on a menu. You can, however, hide all the drop zones on a menu so that they don’t appear in your final project. This is particularly helpful when you want to create a simple custom theme.
To hide all drop zones on a menu screen:
Make sure the menu whose drop zones you want to hide is showing in the iDVD window.
With your pointer over the menu, press Command-I to open the Menu Info window.
Deselect the “Show drop zones and related graphics” checkbox.
The drop zones immediately disappear from the menu, and they do not appear in your final burned project. Some other graphical elements may also be hidden.
You can always show the drop zones and ornaments again after you’ve hidden them. Simply open the Menu Info window and select the “Show drop zones and related graphics” checkbox.
To replace the background, open the menu info window. For full directions, go to iDVD Help, and look up _Changing the background image of a DVD menu_.

Probelm is OBIEE on your machine.Some one might have deleted pdf option.

Try to find out tag that is to be removed from controlmessages.xl so that you have only HTML.

Approval Templates: Inventory Transfer - based on Query (help)

This is a newbie question but I don't have time to read or dig thru forum sorry.
We have an Approval Template setup to alert/approve Inventory Transfers but it is set to Always on the Terms tab.
We would like to modify it for only transfers into a certain set of warehouses). How do i create a query that will determine the Warehouse Code (if warehouse code is:'WHL','ITL','RTL','WEB','CTO-WHL','CTO-ITL') on transfer and send the alert/approval notification.
I know this has been done 1000 times over but please enlighten me.

Approval Templates Error Message

Hello Expert,
I am a new user of SAP B1:
I need a user to be able to create A/P Invoice Draft instead of posting the A/P Invoice to G\L...
When I go to Administration>Approval Procedures>Approval Templates, I have a list of users who usually create A/P Invoice Draft for Approval..., I notice that the user who have to create draft is not listed.
When I insert the user in the list, sap return this error message after clicking on 'Update Button' :
*Fixed terms cannot be selected when the 'use terms flag' is false Message 3621-12*
How can I resolve this issue?...

Approval Templates' terms - help needed

Greetings, all!
           I'm having troubles understanding the approval template terms (Modules->Administration->Approval Procedures->Approval templates:: Approval Templates setup form->Terms tab->Terms grid).
           I think I know what the 'Total Document' and "Discount %" terms are but the rest are a haze to me.
           Could anyone tell me how these are evaluated against a sales order for example.
           Any help will be appreciated

Generally as the terms are worded..
Deviation from Credit Limit - If you have the Credit limit defined in the BP Master, it would validate against it
Deviation from Commitment - same as above about against Commitment limit
Gross Profit % - Document level Gross Profit would be validated
Discount % - Document level Discount would be validated
Deviation from Budget - This is when you use Budgets and if the Document causes an deviation from budget for that period...

Approval template for line item price variation

Any recommendation on how to managed price variations at a line item level with using approval templates? The approval templates currently only allow for TOTAL document differences.
A senario as follows
1. Purchase order with line item price created
2. GRNI created (and unit price changed)
3. AP invoice created - AP approval template kicks in advising that there is a price discrepancy at a line item level between the Base and target documents.

Approval Procedure will not work for Row Level.

How do we control who can approve items in a list?

We are building a referral bonus list that needs to go through 4 levels of approval before being paid out. I've created the workflow, but I can't figure out how to control who is allowed to approve it. For example, it would be bad if an employee
can enter the item, and then approve it as the Manager, Director and VP so that Finance gets notified and puts it on his check.
How can I set it so that only management-level personnel are able to approve/reject specific items within the list?

If you are using a custom list as referral bonus list, you can use the PowerShell to enable the option "Create items and edit items that were created by the user" (you
can check if you need to set "Read items that were created by the user" ), then all users could only edit his own created items, then you grant "Manage lists" permission
to Manager,Director and VP on this custom list and they will be able to view and edit all items.

If you want only Manager, Director and VP to be able to approve/reject the Approval Workflow task items, you need to grant them Contribute permissions or higher on Workflow Tasks list, and remove all others' Contribute permissions.
