Well yes. You can update and make purchases only for apps made using your own AppleID. To make a purchase you must have the AppleID and password for the account.

    Check out the article on how to resume the download. If you are still having issues with getting your In-App Purchase, then report the issue to the iTunes Store.

    I bought an in app purchase, it had a cost and there was plenty of money in my iTunes account to cover. It went through as free so it won't download, I have reinstalled the original app but no go. Any ideas.

    I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with a purchase in the iTunes Store.
    Please refer to the information below to report this:
      How to report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBookstore purchase
    Find the email receipt for your purchase.
    Click Report a Problem under the app that is having the issue.
    When prompted, enter the Apple ID and password you used to purchase the item, then click Report a Problem.
    Click Report a Problem next to the item you are having an issue with.
    From the Choose Problem dropdown menu, choose the appropriate issue.
    Follow the onscreen instructions and—if prompted—type a description of the problem into the text field.
    Click Submit to have your issue reviewed.

    It charges me 60.00 for a in app purchase with out giving me anything..... Says " tap ok to download" but doesn't work... This is for Global war app from machine zone...

    You need to contact the app developer. Are you connected to WiFi when you attempt to download the update? If it is too large it cannot be sent over cellular data.

    if I have $30 dollars of credit from an itunes card already shown on my phone as credit... why does the in-app purchase only give me the option to use my CC on record?  I dont want to use my CC, I want to use my credit...

    iTunes cards gift balance are used bevore youyr CC is charged for such purchases. If you give an app you must have a cc.

  • HT201304 What happens if you are disputing an in-app purchase with a vendor that is in CHina and is not understanding your issue and refuses to add the disputed purchase or refund the purchase?

    I made an in app purchase and the game (Happy Farm) crashed but I completed the purchase on my iPad's Home screen because the Confirm purchase window popped up before I could relaunch the game.  When I launched the game the purchase (which was Gems) was not showing so I took a screen shot of the game window showing 211 diamonds, which was the amount I started with, (the purchase was for 258 gems so my total should be 499).  I then took a screenshot of myhome screen showing the time of day.  I went back to the game repurchased the same amount, the app did not crash this time and I was credited with correct about of gems 211 +258  = 499... Took a snapshot of that screen.  went back to my home screen and took a screen shot to show the time again.  Well after sending Happy Farm all of this evidence, they responded that they gave me all the gems and I just used them all.  I don't believe that they understand that my app crashed and during the 1st transaction and I clicked the Buy button (in the Confirm purchase window) on my Home screen not in the App, got charged but did NOT recieve the gems when I relaunched the app.  I have more proof than most people and they are still calling me a liar... I need intervention from iTunes App store and I don't know how to get them to mediate this dispute. Do you know how I can get in touch with the App store?

    I can't get the in app purchase to work. Says see iTunes support.  I can do music no problem. Verified payment information and still no go. Thought it might be some kind of money cap but did one yesterday for same amt and it cleared no problem

I was having issue also with making in-app purchases, I email Floyd ( Apple Customer Support ) and they were able to adjust my account within 4 to 5hrs ( I know this may seem a long wait by hey when all fails....patience is the virtue to success!)
