HT4108 I just bought a composite a/v cable for my iPhone 4S and I can hear sound but no video on my JVC tv what can I do to fix it?
I would like to no how I can see my iPhone 4S screen on my JVC TV any ideas I bought a composite A/V Cable for it but nothing?

If you don't have Applecare you can usually get a refurbished unit from an Apple Retail Store cut price - though they may not have any 3 models in stock and you may be 'forced' to upgrade to a 3GS.

Hi all,
I just connected my iPhone to iTunes on the computer, and it prompted me to update my iOS. I did so, and it is now updated - however, I cannot connect to my 3G.
(I can't connect to WiFi networks, either, but this has been a problem for a long time and I am not asking a question about this )
Anyway - the "3G" icon is at the top of the screen, but whenever I try to connect to the internet/use whatsapp/agree to terms and conditions for iCloud, it says there is no working internet available.
I have reset network settings, toggled airplane mode on/off, rebooted the phone, manually restarted the phone...all to no avail.
Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!I think I may have fixed this problem - I am on the giffgaff network, and updating my iOS meant that my network settings were reset to O2.
To fix this, I went to Settings > Mobile > Mobile Data Network, and then re-entered giffgaff's mobile data settings.

The fact that cleaning worked once still suggests a dirty lens. Try this alternate cleaning method: Use a credit card, or something similar, and wrap it with an LCD cleaning cloth type product (basically a thin micro-fiber type cloth). Gently slide the "cleaner" in and out a few times in the left side of the optical drive opening. Make sure you can hold onto the cloth so it doesn't get stuck inside the drive. This cleans the lens, which may be all you need. -
I bought this iphone. It was locked and the owner could not remember their password so i restored it via my computer. Now I can not access it at all because they still have it linked with thier apple id. What can I do if I can not contact them? The number I had for them isnt active. What can I do?

I just bought a new Macbook Pro 15" with SSD 256 Gb and its almost a brand-new (the 4th time to use the device) a while ago i was trying to connect to my home wireless network it said that the connection is timed out so i clicked the airport sign on the top it said that your airport is not configured then I restarted the system but it didn't restarted it showed the grey screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel for more than 10min so I tried the force shutdown by pressing the power button till it switched off I waited for 5min then pressed the power button to start or boot the system and again the grey screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel, I waited for more than 20min nothing changed, any solution please?
Your help is really appreciated"Thanks a lot i followed the instructions for safe mode (i found out that i was pressing the C button after restarting) i did whats written there but the repair couldn't be performed so in addition i needed to re-formate the HD so i erased the volume and then repaired the disk--> quite disk utilities --> start the installation from the installation DVD.

I have 160gb of music on my Classic, 6th Gen (I think) I've just bought it. Is it possible for it to play my songs in a random order, one or two from different albums?
To add to what Stonerock has mentioned, you can either create Playlists in your iTunes Library, containing exactly what you want, and then Sync them to your iPod, or you can use the iPod Classic's On-The-Go feature.
Reading between the lines, I'm going to assume for now that you want to be able to create your preferred listening list while "out and about" - so not near your iTunes library. (You have posted in iPod Classic, after all.) You can do this with the On-The-Go Playlist.
Look in the Playlists menu on the iPod. It probably contains the Recently Added, Recently Played and other pre-made Playlists that you see in your iTunes Library. At the bottom of the Playlists list, is the On-The-Go showing 0 Songs. Scroll down to it and press the Select (centre) button. The screen will give you instruction on adding songs to the On-The-Go Playlist.
Basically, if you press-and-hold the Select (centre) button, while highlighting a song, the song title will blink as it is added to the On-The-Go Playlist. Try it, then go back to Playlists/On-The-Go and notice that it will now say 1 Song. (Note, you cannot add a "now playing" song to the On-The-Go Playlist.) Repeat this for every song you want to have in the list. You can also look in the Albums menu, highlight the album title and press-and-hold that to add the complete album to your On-The-Go Playlists with one press. So if you add the two albums to your On-The-Go Playlist, you can then listen to just those two albums.
To shuffle the songs, turn on Shuffle on your iPod. Either, go into Settings/Shuffle and press the Select button to toggle between Off/Songs/Albums, or on the Now Playing screen, press the Select button three times to reach the Shuffle option, where you use the scroll wheel to move between Off/Songs/Albums, press the Select button to activate it.
Having added songs to the On-The-Go Playlist, go into it and notice the list of songs and options to Save Playlist (New Playlist 1) or Clear Playlist. If you use Sync to manage your iPod (and that really is the best way by the way), the next Sync will transfer any unsaved On-The-Go and any New Playlist Xs that you have, back to your iTunes Library. You can even remove any song from the current On-The-Go Playlist by highlighting it (in the On-The-Go, obviously) and press-and-holding the Select button.

Just bought a new iMac, with Lion, for my wife. When is was wifi with her old iMac on line with it's printer, HP C6200, no problems printing. Now that it is by itself it does not recognize the C6200...It recognizes my laser hp 1012 and laser hp 6300 but will not print to them wanting an autenication
How is the C6200 connected to the iMac, is it via USB or Wi-Fi? If it's via Wi-Fi please make sure it's connected to the router using the printer's Network Wizard. Then click System Preferences - Print & Scan and assuming the iMac is on the same network as the printer, if it is the printer should be seen. If it's not then click the + sign and add the printer. If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. I sell phones for a living and this happens a lot
