HTTP.HTTP_STATUS_CODE_NEQ_OK in Proxy

Hey,
Please Help!!
I am sending an asynchronous Proxy from a WAS6.20 box(with XI2.0 addin APPINT) to XI3.0. When the message hits the integration server I get the message below. I read the note about the error in CSS, however we are already on SP9. Plus, the message header looks correct. When I debug the unit of work, the error is caught  during the following call lv_xms_main_ref->CALL_PIPELINE_SYNC().
  <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>

Hey,
Thanks for catching the typo. I met up with our basis guy and he corrected the entry on the systems. It was right in the XI box, wrong on the R/3 and SRM systems. This has opened a can of worms however, because it is apparent some of config steps aren't complete. I checked the documentation in the check list on SXMB_admin and passed the steps to config the ICF service in XI and the SM59 RFC destination dest://... along to the basis team. we are kind of stuck and I really would like to help get this issue resolved. So here
Are there any other steps that are involved? Also, when we tested the icf service sap/xi/engine in XI, it says that the pipeline Id is missing. Any info that you could provide regarding the  remaining steps would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Chris

  • HTTP to ABAP Proxy - Problem with "Current User" parameter

    Hi experts,
    We have a HTTP to ABAP proxy sceario, where I used an HTTP Destination to connect to the proxy.
    We're trying to use the option "Current User" in that destination in order to login to ECC with the same user that in PI adapter plain.
    The user exists i both systems, PI and ECC, with the same password.
    Checking that parameter we get the following error:
    <SAP:Error><SAP:Category>XIServer</SAP:Category><SAP:Code>INTERNAL.UNAUTHORIZED</SAP:Code><SAP:P1>401 </SAP:P1><SAP:P2>Unauthorized</SAP:P2><SAP:P3>(See attachment HTMLError for details)</SAP:P3></SAP:Error>
    We think that PI is not getting the password.
    Does aybody know how to do this?
    Thanks and regards,
    LUIS B.

    Hi Chirumamilla,
    If we put user and password in SM59 (unchecking "Current User") the commuication works without problems.
    We don't want to leave a user set there, beacuse we are looking to access to PI with different users and login to ECC with the same user.
    Thanks,

  • Http to abap proxy

    Hi ;
    Can somebody help me by sending screenshots for a http to abp proxy scenario.
    I am new to sap xi .
    i need a http cleint also,
    Thnx

    Hi
    Here in this case it is a http client to abap proxy. For http client (sender CC) u wud not req sender agreement. Follow the below link for http client config:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/66dadc6e-0a01-0010-9ea9-bb6d8ca48cc8
    And u shud have the DT,MT, MI, Mapping in place. U wud do the req confir in ID and recv agreement will be for proxy. For that follow this link.
    /people/prateek.shah/blog/2005/06/14/file-to-r3-via-abap-proxy
    Combine these two and u will get ur thread anwsered for sure. In this post the file will be replaced by http client. remeber no need to sender agreement.

    Hi,
    1.If you have any xsl code or java code please share .
    You need Java (or ABAP), not parsing the input, creating xml.
    2. my client is  using dual stack abap/java.
    Your desicion to use Java or ABAP. From my point of view ABAP is easier, but it depends or your experience.
    3.please share the any udf for map the string to the target side?
    An UDF is part of a Message Mapping. Does not work here.
    4. i already  developed the proxy code.
    That s a good start

    Hi,
    It works very well. I have experienced this model for a distant Forte client
    calling a Forte Server service Object for instance without any environment
    and without TCP access (passing through firewall for instance).
    It has also worked very well to make an injectot to improve Web Enterprise

    You can also use the HTTP-DC project.... You don't
    need Web Enterprise for this. From what I can tell,
    this is available in L.x on....
    There is api documentation in M.2 (with scant
    examples.)
    There's a special process to put the project in your
    repository (it isn't installed in the repository in
    the standard install,) the documentation in M.2
    (probably in M.0 too, AFAIK) that tells you how to do
    this (look for HTTP-DC in the online help.)
    I haven't done much with it yet, I've just installed
    it. If anybody out there has examples, that'd be
    great. I'll try to contribute more the moment I get a
    chance to explore it....

  • HTTPS and a Proxy server?

    Does the plugin-in still not work with HTTPS and a proxy server?
    From plug-in docs -
    "Java Plug-in supports http, ftp, gopher and SOCKS v4 protocols through the proxy server. Currently, Java Plug-in does not support https (SSL). "

    Hello
    I am making HTTPS calls from within my applet code and this works fine using the basic Java Plug-in support for HTTPS.
    This means my code basically does:
    URL url = new URL("https://myhost.com/servlet/Test");
    URLConnection conn = url.openConnection();
    etc..
    We are using Java 1.4.2. I've read in the "How HTTPS Works in Java Plug-in" for 1.3, that the plugin uses the browsers API for making HTTPS connections. Is this still the case for 1.4?
    My basic problem is that it all works fine if the browser is NOT configured to use a proxy server. If a proxy server is configured we get the following Exception in the client:
    java.io.IOException: Unable to tunnel through proxy. Proxy returns "HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request ( The data is invalid. )"
    I have read that "Sun's Java Secure Socket Extension (JSSE) library allows you to access a secure Web server from behind a firewall via proxy tunnelling. However, JSSE expects the proxy's reply to the tunnelling request to begin with "HTTP 1.0"; otherwise, it throws an IOException" (http://www.javaworld.com/javatips/jw-javatip111_p.html)
    The article talks about using the JSSE library but it seems to be assuming the client is an application not an applet.
    How do I use JSSE from within an applet if all the proxy information I seem to need to set in the JSSE code is held by the browser?
    Will JSSE support proxies returning responses beginning HTTP 1.1 in the future?
    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
    Many thanks
    mark

  • Can use the Mac App Store behind a HTTP/1.1 proxy

    We have an HTTP/1.1 proxy at work, and when doing a download from the Mac Apps Store, the downloaded data comes through as "Transfer-Encoding: chunked".
    According to the HTTP 1.1 specification (the request is made as HTTP/1.1), the client MUST be able to decode the chunked transfer encoding (see the end of section 3.6.1 in rfc2616).
    Am I missing something? Or is there a way to make the Mac App Store use HTTP/1.0, or support the standard?
    Thanks.

    No. Only apps bought through the MAS can be updated by the MAS.

  • HTTPS Recording through proxy

    Hi all
    I'm trying to record through a proxy using OpenScript 9.0.1. When the site is an HTTP site, all is fine and I'm asked for my proxy password and then passed on to the site. OpenScript records as expected. But when the site is HTTPS, I don't get the proxy authorisation box and eventually the following is returned. Content-length: 0 Connection: Keep-Alive
    Has anyone got experience of recording HTTPS through a proxy. I'm trying to work out if it's OpenScript, the proxy or some network security issue.
    I've tried both to use the IE settings or manually specify proxy settings in OpenScript.
    Another interesting issue is that the 'ignore' list in IE does not seem to be used by OpenScript and there is no way in the OpenScript prefs to set a proxy ignore list?
    many thanks
    Wilbo.

    I am receiving the messages from sender to PI on http posting, from PI  I am sending the message to SAP system using receiver xi communication channel ( receiver is abap proxy).
    Sender will send the messages in QOS=EOIO, QUEueID=XXXt_100 etc  parameters, when large volumes cases, it is getting delayed to process it using a single queue.
    We are thinking to dynamically  generate multiple queues in PI and send the same queue ids to receiver SAP system to process all the messages quickly in SAP System also.
    Help /Clarifications needed:
    1. XI receiver communication channel in  pi  does not provide any options to generate dynamic queue id based on payload content (using dynamic configuration) and sent it to SAP.
    2. Module Tab in receiver communication channel also got disabled to add  custom adapter modules, can we add custome adapter module on xi receiver channel to generate dynamic queue id ?
    Really appreciate your immediate help and suggestions.
    Thanks.
    Suraj.

    Dear Praveen,
    Thanks lot for the immediate reply, we need to use EOIO, as the messages need to be processed in the same order we send and receive, there is no flexibility in QOS=EOIO, Appreciate if there is any other thoughts?
    Thanks In Advance.
    Suraj.

  • How  to create and test HTTP connection for proxy

    HI
    Can anybody help me by providing step by step guide for how to create a HTTP connection for inbound abap proxy?
    How i will get sure that connection is working properly?
    Thanks
    Debraj

    Hi Debraj,
       You should be able to do that in SM59 of the XI Box.
    Create the connection under "HTTP Connections to R/3 System".
    Provide the Target Host IP Address.Service Number and Path Prefix.
    Select the logon procedure as SAP Standard.
    SSL Inactive.
    Provide Logon details.

  • Dont think RMi is HTTP tunneling through proxy firewall

    Hi Guys,
    Does anyone know how to monitor if RMI is using the option toHTTP tunnel through a proxy ???
    Many of clients sit behind firewalls/proxies that enable HTTP only. I thought RMI would, as a default, use HTTP tunneling POST, RESPONSe methods to get through, but it does not.
    Would that case be insted of using Naming.lokup("RMIServer"); that i should use
    Registry reg = LocateRegistry.getResgistry(serverAddress, serverPort);
    reg.lookup("RMIServer");
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    RMI doesn't have an option like that. Sockets do, and you get it for any socket including RMI by setting socksProxyHost and socksProxyPort.
    The RMI HTTP tunnelling thing happens when there is an HTTP server at the server side. which redirects the request to an RMI server via rmi-cgi.cgi or the RMI servlet. It's automatic, as a fallback, and you can enforce its use via a system property which you can find in the Javadoc Guide to Features/Remote Method Invocation/Useful java.rmi system properties.

  • HTTPS over a Proxy!! Set up of username/password

    I am transferring over https to a receving servlet over a Proxy.
    How do I specify the username and password for the Proxy in my
    application ,if the proxy server supports this.
    I have configured my application to send it over a Proxy with:
    https.proxyHost = <Proxy Host>
    https.proxyPort = 0000
    or
    System.setProperty("https.proxyHost","Proxy Host");
    System.setProperty("https.proxyPort","8080");
    How can I set the Property for Username and Password too?
    Please does any one know this?

    Or you could use the Authenticator class
    in JDK.
    class MyAuth extends Authenticator {
        protected PasswordAuthentication getPasswordAuthentication() {
            System.out.println("The realm '" + getRequestingPrompt() +
                "' at '" + getRequestingHost() + ":" + getRequestingPort() +
                "'\n" + "using " + getRequestingProtocol() + " is requesting " +
                getRequestingScheme().toUpperCase() + " authentication.");
            System.out.println("");
            System.out.println("What should we send them?  Let's send them ...");
            System.out.println("");
            return new PasswordAuthentication("username", "password".toCharArray());
            // set to the authenticator you want to use.
            Authenticator.setDefault(new myAuth());
            URL url =
                new URL("http://www.some.com/something_protected/index.htm");

  • HTTP(S) and PROXY MAX message?

    Hi All
    If the h/w configuration is optimal - what is the maximum message size PI 7.1 can process as PROXY (SENDER) and HTTPS (RECEIVER). Are there any limitations or rules of thumbs?
    Cheers

    That's the SAP tested size. It could be increased upto 2 GB which is the parameter.
    You can check the ICM parameter value for your system icm/HTTP/max_request_size_KB. Another place to be checked is sxmb_adm -> Integration Engine Parameter -> Specific Configuration -> Value of Tuning parameter EO_MSG_SIZE_LIMIT.
    What is your message size requirement?

  • Https via upstream proxy fails

    Something has changed at an upstream proxy that we use.
    now in chrome we try any https sites we get:
    Error 111 (net::ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED)
    In IE we just get page not found http 400 bad request.
    What should I be saying to the upstream proxy folk to get them to fix this.
