I am upgraded to Firefox 6.0.2. i am still seeing the old version when i am logged in as an ordinary user the help ta says apply update(verrsion is 6.0.2) but if i press that it just restarts but the problem remains.

when i log into adminstrator account on my computer the browser is new.
the upgraded version 6.0.2 works well only when logged in the adminstrator mode.

Try to run the Firefox program once as Administrator (right-click: Run as Administrator) for that user.
If files already have been downloaded then you need to remove the files in the updates and updates\0 folder.<br />
You can delete active-update.xml and maybe updates.xml as well if present.

After all you've tried, Dah*veed is probably right about needing warranty assistance.
But first check to be sure Settings-Airplane Mode is set to OFF, and Settings-WiFi-WiFi is set to ON.
Try unplugging your WiFi router for a few seconds. Then reset the iPad's network. Go to Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings. You will need to reconnect to your WiFi.

Deleted cookies and chain but still no action.

If you have not already done so, read the router's user manual troubleshooting section and/or contact its customer service department/forums.
If still having problems, post back w/details of all you have tried to resolve the problems along w/the troubleshooting solutions that the "local techies" had you try.

If the clips are not actually missing, you could try to refresh the timeline by using cmd-0 and then going to the timeline options tab. Then select name only where it says "thumbnail display". Press ok to accept the change, then repeat the process to add thumbnails back to your timeline.

When I drag the item off of the trifold that I am creating, it just disappears but I still want to use it. I just need to move it out of the way to modify other portions of the document.

Add another page below the current one to use as a storage area. You can't use the grey area around the page for storing items you want to use later.
Go to the Pages Menu>Provide Pages Feedback if you would like to request this feature be added in future versions.

DC-in board replaced but charging problem remains

Hi,
I have a 1.67 15" G4 PowerBook that spent long periods plugged into the AC mains with the battery in (I didn't know the G4 PB would work attached to AC with battery removed!)
There was some heat generated; the battery gave increasingly poor performance whenever it was unplugged and then finally stopped charging altogether.
I have a friend with the same model and using his good charged battery the PB works fine but even his battery will not charge when plugged into AC mains.
I thought the DC-in board sounded like the problem so replaced it with a used one stripped from a working PB unit from a large parts vendor.
However the problem remains ie: AC adaptor lights amber; no charging shown on screen battery icon; System Profile says Charger Connected: No, Charging: No
I have tried the PRAM reset and got the 'Date Change' warning box on reboot but still no charging.
Any thoughts?
Do Apple do a remote battery charger if the problem is in the logic board?

Yeah, they must originate from different points, but I would definitely guess that they merge somewhere of course to power the rest of the machine. It just makes sense logistically and monetarily for that to happen. I would bet more on the electronics on the logic board in regards to the power being bad. But it would have to be before the DC-In / Battery juncture because it boots from battery. I would doubt it's the cables. Most of those connector cables are ribbon cables, which are pretty sturdy. Also from the fact that those cables pretty much never move after they were placed inside the case. I just don't see how a short could be created in them. All I can guess maybe is that one of the components on the actual logic board side connecting to the DC-In board is bad somehow. No way for me to know how to test that directly though. I haven't had a chance to poke around with it much right now as I had to take my car in to the shop. Might have time this week-end to investigate some more. I'll definitely let you know if I come up with a solution / cause of problem.

Here som other steps you can try;
Make sure that you have an internet connection
Make sure that you have a valid Apple ID (check here: myinfo.apple.com). Note that your Apple ID to register FaceTime on iPad 2, iPod touch, or FaceTime for Mac must be an email address. You can create a new Apple ID or make changes by visiting myinfo.apple.com and using the “Manage your Account” part.
Tap Settings > FaceTime to see that your email address is verified. If your status is saying “verifying,”; then try toggling FaceTime off and on (Settings > FaceTime OR FaceTime for Mac: FaceTime > Preferences)
Try turning FaceTime off and on again using the following (iOS: Settings > Phone OR FaceTime for Mac: FaceTime > Preferences)
Make sure that FaceTime is enabled (Settings > FaceTime.)
Make sure that the camera for FaceTime is not restricted (Settings > General > Restrictions.)

Even after update and several boots, my icon on desktop still leads to old version on Firefox. I use Mac OS 10.6.8.

I have updated Firefox in Mac os 10.6.8. severa times now. But in desktop and dock the icon still leads to old version, 3.6.24. Only if I select Firefox from programs-folder, the newest version appears. How can make the shortcuts use the updated version?

my itune keep showing message that i tune is downloading software for my phone. but downloading for several minutes it displays message that i tune cannot connect to my phone because it is locked with a passcode. first entre the pass code.

Are you sure? I have other devices at home. The only way I can make them disappear on the tracking list is by turning off location or resetting to factory settings.
I just want to make sure I'm not tracking a phantom that I will never recover :-(
