I forgot my security answers and apple support sent me an email to fix the issue but only allowed me to change my password. I still cannot change security questions.

I forgot my security questions and went threw Apple Support to change the answers. I was sent an email to change my password but still cannot change my security questions, how can I change my security questions?

Alternatives for Help Resetting Security Questions and/or Rescue Mail

     2. Fill out and submit this form. Select the topic, Account Security. You must
         have a Rescue Email to use this option.
     3. This is the only option if you do not already have a valid Rescue Email.

         the appropriate country and call. Ask to speak to the Account Security Team.

    Where did you put the LR catalog?
    Did you install the same version of LR, which one?
    OS and version?
    Open the folder where the catalog (*.lrcat) is located. If you see a file with lock in it while LR is not running, delete it.
    Now try to start LR again.

    They will not send you an e-mail. They send you an SMS, with the code to activate Whatsapp.
    If you don't get the sms, wait 5 minutes with WhatsApp open. The timer will go from 5.00 to 0.00. If it is at 0.00 you can click it. You get the code via Phone. (Automatic)

    I signed up for an "Apple ID" and an "Apple Support Communities username" separately using the same e-mail address.  Is there any way to merge the two accounts?
    I signed up for "Apple Support Communities" several years ago to get help with Apple products. I then signed up for an "Apple ID" later on to buy stuff at the iTunes Store.
    I was trying to access "Apple Support Communities" using my Apple ID and I get prompted to choose a username. But when I type my current username, it says the username is already taken. Alternatively, if I try to choose a new username to go along with my Apple ID, I get a message saying that there is a username already assigned to my e-mail address.
    For some reason, "Apple Support Communities" is not intuitively syncing the two accounts together despite the fact that they are linked to the same e-mail address.
    I don't want to cancel either of these accounts since I have activities using one/the other that I do want to preserve.
    Can anyone help me merge these two accounts together?

    I will do it for you.   I can't say they will take any action, they operate in their own way, but if they feel there may be a threat to your security they will normally take it seriously.   My guess is they would eMail their actions to you, though not to me of course.

  • I have desktop running Vista and Windows Mail and iPhone 4S.  I receive email fine on the iPhone but when I read or reply or delete email on iPhone it does not "register" on the desktop that I have done so.

    It seems like once the messages are received on each device they no longer talk to each other.  They do not "synch" after intital receipt of message.
    Please help.

    If this is a POP email account that is normal as they don't sync but merely allow devices to retrieve messages from the server.  You have to use an IMAP or exchange account to have changes on one device reflected on the other.

    How have you been contacting them ?
    If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account then you can reset them yourself : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6170
    If you don't have a rescue email address then you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699 - is the number/link for your country on that page how you've been contacting them ?
