I have a query concerning the Creation of Businees Partner

Hi Group,
I tried to create a Business Partner using the Function Module "BAPI_BUPA_FS_CREATE_FROM_DATA" and I got the return value of the Business Partner also. And this FM I was using to create BP for the Organization.
But the thing is that, I got the return value of the Business Partner Number, and when I happened to look for the details of this Business Partner, I could not see
him and I was getting the message like "BP does not exist".
Please let me know what could have been the reason for this and let me know what needs to be done in this context.

But, now I have another issue like, I was able to create the BPs and created the relationship also, but I was not able to see any other info like address, phone #,
street, email and etc., things in the BP details.

You can use 'BAPI_BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA' to create BP's in CRM .

I want my pictures and videos to be sorted by the time and date they were taken. I have Lilghtroom sorting by the creation date, but the videos are sorting separately from the pictures even when the creation dates indicate they are out of order.

I have set the sort order to be by the creation date of the pictures and media I have in the catalog. But the pictures appear first, in chronological order, then some of the videos follow, in their chronological order, but the videos and pictures don't mix amongst each other in straight chronological order. How can I fix this?

I think it’s only possible to see raw and jpeg stills side by side e.g. in true chronological order after setting LR prefs. Your video files will automatically show up in the Video smart collection. So you can view them in one place regardless of which folders they are stored in. Otherwise move your images and videos into a new collection and drag them into the order you want, where they will remain fixed. Or use the library filter to define a date range.

Updating Template Details During the Creation of Business Partner

I am working in SAP CRM 5.0.I am creating the Business partner Using the Transaction code
'BUP1'.My Requirement is at the time of saving the Business Partner i want to update the
Template Details.I tried with the BAdI 'BUPA_TEMPL_UPDATE' .But this BAdI does not contain the Template Parameters.How to do this it is very Urgent Requirement.Please help me to solve this problem.

In CRM5.0 IC webclient, I used FM 'BUPA_TEMPLATE_SAVE_TABS' to save information regarding Business Partner Template.

Ecatt: how to test the creation of a purchase requisistion (ME51N)

Hello ecatt-experts,
I have some questions concerning the creation of a purchase requisition with ecatt:
- is it possible to use TCD recording instead of sapgui recording for ME51N ?
(as far as I've seen it's not possible with TCD as I didn't get back the field-values)
- Is it possible to record the creation of a PR with 1 item and to write a script which can be used for the creation of a PR with n items ?
For this I would need to cread GUIElement- Parameters dynamically.
Or is the only solution to this problem to register a sapgui with n items and to define n parameters ?

HI Monika,
It is difficult to use TCD for creating a Purchase Requisition (I am not telling you that it is impossible, you can do it, but its really hard to manipulate screen elements and to pass values to them).
One thumb rule is to use SAPGUI for all Enjoy transactions(ME21N, ME51N, MIGO....)
Answer to your second question is YES. You can use the single recording for N number of items without creating multiple parameters.
You have to create a parameter with the parameter reference as the table/structure mentioned in the transaction grid(Press F1 on the TA screen and then go to technical help and copy the table/structure name and paste it in the parameter reference area of the eCATT parameter ending with [] like <b><I_MARA> <Description> <MARA[]></b> ).
Then create another local parameter of type numeric(may be V_COUNT )
In the eCATT, use a GETLENGTH (I_MARA, V_COUNT).
Then loop the grid values like
DO (V_COUNT).
SAPGUI RECORDING <b>ONLY</b> FOR THE ITEMS..
Here map the values with the values of the St. Parameter
like I_MARA[&LPC]-MATNR.
ENDDO.
This way, you can pass multiple values to the grid to the parameter I_MARA in the runtime and also use a single line recording for passing multiple values.

How to limit the creation of the selection screen variant

I have a question concerning the selection screen variants. Is it possible to limit the number of variant created by users (in customizing, authorization..) ?
If, yes, can you please tell me the procedure to follow.

Cannot be restricted during creation but you can do a program that reads the report's existing variants, delete some, or modify the variant's content, you can put that in the program itself so when executed, apply your validation, or a background job depending on your requirements.
You can do it with this function modules:
RS_ALL_VARIANTS_4_1_REPORT
RS_CHANGE_CREATED_VARIANT
RS_VARIANT_DELETE

If they are standard controls, probably it'll mean to change the standard program: if your SAP release is ECC 6.00 u can try to use the Implicit Enhancement in order to change the standard else u need to register the standard to OSS in order to get the access key for modification.

I have see in the nwa if there are some applications or services that are stopped but all the necessary it's started, just one question : in the pdf for upgrade from 7.0 to 7.1 no one speaks about ejBean or about a creation of it ... it's necessary an ejBean ?? Problem regarding the creation of Table using CSS.

Hi ,
Here I have a Problem regarding the creation of Table using CSS.
In My Application i have a table with multiple rows(Rows are Dynamically added to the table).First i am setting the table with the following properties:
width:900px;
height : auto,
Overflow : visible,
Max-height: : 200px.
If I use above properties,I'm getting a table with 5 or 6 rows(height upto 200px).After that i am getting the Vertical ScrollBar.
The problem is when a table has many columns, Vertical and Horizontal Scrolls are coming at the time of setting the table. The table height is not Increasing dynamically.
How can i use "height" property in CSS? (I want the table height to be increased when the columns are more.)

Query regarding the conversion of DME file in MT940 format.

Hello Experts,
I have a query regarding the generation of MT940 file after generating the payment file from other DME tree.
After completion of payment run, my payment file is generated in the DME format which is according to the DME tree.
I want to convert the DME file (which is generated via F110) from existing format to the standard MT940 format.
Is there any standard program which converts the DME file to MT940. If so, please inform me as early.
I have tried to upload the DME file in FF.5 transaction, but it is not allowing me to convert the file in MT940 structure.
Or please inform the steps how i can convert the file .

i have a query regarding the data type for fetcing records from multiple ODS tables.
if i have 2 table with a same column name then in the datatype under parent row node i cant add 2 nodes with the same name.
can any one help with some suggestion.

Hi Mudit,
One option would be to go as mentioned by Padamja , prefxing the table name to the column name or another would be to use the AS keyoword in your SQL statement.
AS is used to rename the column name when data is being selected from your DB.
So, the query Select ename as empname from emptable will return the data with column name as empname.

Dear All,
I have one query regarding the fields details in particular form for all the users in company.
Let take an exapmle if i had created Purchase Order having fields in content tab as 1.Item No. 2.Quantity 3.Unit Proce 4.Total 5. Location.
While Login in User manager i set these fields only for Purchase order , but when i login from other user and open the similar purchase order the defaults fields are also seen including above 4 fieds .
Now my question is how to set the User choice fiels for the particular form that are common to all users.
Means whenever i login in any user and opens the same document the same fields should be seen....Thanksssss.........

You have to login with each and every user and do the Form Settings of every forms, so that all the forms look same for all the users.
This is a manual job and you have do do it with every user login.

Query regarding the Position Hierarchy.

Client Version:R12.1.3
We are setting up Position Hierarchy.
Have a query in the setup.
We have a position called Clerk--Number of Holders---2
Clerk --Holder 1 is reporting to Manager 1
Clerk Holder2 is reporting to Manager 2.
When we are trying to set the Hierarchy.
It is taking both the holders in consideration.
Request to assist.

That is what we have the requirment..
I tried changing the existing hierarchy..but it is not working..
For 2 clerks here..we created say 100.Purchase Clerk as Job and position as 200.Purchase clerk
for the second clerk it has same job as 100.Purchase Clerk as Job and position as 200.Purchase clerk1
(we changed a bit)
one clerk reports to one manager..and the manager reports to dept head.
one clerk reports to dept head..
so while in hierarchy dept has total 3 sub ordinates and when we drill down manager has 1 sub ordinates..
which makes sense...
i created approval groups also...and assignments too..
but when the newly created clerk logins and when he forwards documents..he is not seeing the default heiarchy..we have set this up in documents types..
and the second old clerk he is seeing this when he is forwading documents for approval..
where did i miss the setup?

Quantity of 3 is rejected so you blocked it? why you want to bring it again to Quality? Use of putting in block is as follows:
Since quantity of 3 is rejected and need to be kept aside you are blocking the stock, the purchase person will send back this material to vendor directly from block stock (MBRL or MIGO). This is best practice.
There can be other situation that your vendor came to your place and done rework om that 3 blocked items and you are satisfied with the quality then you can use respective movement for transferring from block to unrestricted, if you want lot to be generated then assign 08 insp type and do inspection.
