HELP!!! my boy friend did a system update on my iphone 4 tonight and it changed my password to unlock my screen at first it was saying to try back in so many minutes disabled well now its disabled saying connect to itunes but i have never been on itunes before on anything other then my phone so im lost someone please help
LOST PASSCODE
You should be able to remove the passcode by restoring the device. Do the following:
Connect the device to the computer to which you normally sync;
Open iTunes (Note: If iTunes prompts you to enter the passcode, try another computer that you have synced with. Otherwise, go to "If you have never synced your device with iTunes" in http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212 )
Right-click the device in the left column of iTunes and select Back up (read this article on how to restore http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766 )
When the backup is complete, select Restore
When finished, restore from your most recent backup
To restore read the restore section in this article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
If that doesn’t work you will need to perform a factory restore to remove it.

Hmmm, no, no drivers needed, now it sounds like a bad install... unless you might have some old Mouse software installed???

Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
If that doesn't help Reinstall the OS. -

RoboForm password manager stopped working when I updated to the latest version of Firefox. I will contact them as well but I am using rf version 6 and would have to pay (again) to update that program to version 7. This is a vital program because I use a lot of different sites and really would like to continue to use with the Firefox browser.
Thanks for your help. I had already done the "forget this device" but had forgotten about the part of entering the passcode with the keyboard in order to pair. I found my instruction sheet after I posted my cry for help and when I did the pairing procedure right, it worked. It's weird that it decided to unpair itself. Both my husband and our daughter have the same keyboard and neither of them have had this happen. At least now I know what to do if it happens in the future.

I really need help I just got my iPhone 5 yesterday and its telling me "sim failure" and then "invalid sim" shows up on the top left corner. I had an android before so I didn't need a SIM card so I went to apple and they gave me one and them went to sprint to activate my iPhone to my number but it still shows those annoying messages!!!

Just downloaded the new OS onto my iMAC and now the "swipe" feature on my mouse does not work, i.e. I can't go back and forth between web pages. Is this a function of the new OS?
What kind of mouse do you have? USB? Have you tried to plug it in - try all the USB ports (maybe there is a problem with one). It should automatically detect it.

Have you tried a soft-reset to see if that fixes it ? You might be able to get warranty service in Egypt for your iPad, but the warranty includes :

If your iPhone screen is broken or damaged so that it is not possible to enter anything, then you will not be able to unlock it if you have set a passcode and you will not be able to communicate with it in any way.
At this point you need to take it to an Apple store genius bar and have the technicians check it out and see what can be done. If you are in the US, some Apple stores here are now able to replace the screen on an iPhone 5-series device. To turn off auto sync - launch iTunes and go to Edit>Preferences>Devices - check the box at the bottom that says - Prevent iPod, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically. Click OK and then quit iTunes.
Connect your iDevice to your PC.
Launch iTunes,
Click on the device name on the left side of the iTunes Window.
Click on the Photos Tab in the iTunes window on the right.
Untick all of the photos or albums that you want to remove.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
If you untick or uncheck the Sync Photos heading and then click Apply it will remove all of the photos from the device when it syncs. In this screenshot - I have only certain albums and events selected to sync. -
hii, on my iphone 4s, i tried upgrading my OS and i was asked if i needed back up and i said yes, after upgrading i couldnt find any of my files, document, pictures, music and all. please i need help please.
Hi,
usually when you upgrade, it should not delete your files, but if it happens, than you should have a backup.
Unfortunately it is very common, that people don't know, what exactly is in the backup.
The question is, what files exactly you are missing? Own pictures, or taken with the device? Purchased music form the iTunes Store, or own? ....
Documents and files are mostly up to the developer of the app, if they are part of the backup, usually not and you need to transfer them before.
In the backup you will find just pictures from the Camera Rolle folder, everything else you should have on the PC, if you had it on the device.
Same then for music, you can transfer purchased music from the device, but your own works just one direction, from PC to device, from device to PC it doesn't work.
In future I recomand you to be sure how the backup works or use a 3rd party app (iExplorer) where you have a little bit more "freedome" than with iTunes.
Or you maybe just restored from the worng backup
