I notice multiple charges from itunes on my credit card that do not correlate with any recent app purchase, help, it is a lot of money at stake!

I need help trying to figure out why I have multiple charges on my credit card from itunes that do not correlate with any recent app purchase. There is no record of the transaction but i have more than 15 charges on my cc starting at the end of may.

You can check the purchase history on your account via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, though I'm not sure if that shows auto-renewing subscriptions. Have you added or changed your credit card details on your account (when you do then a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the details are correct and valid, which should disappear within a few days) ? Unauthorized charge from itune to my credit card

An unouthorized charge by itune was made yesterday to my credit card the receipt number is 149031050967 and is with $9.99. The seller is mini clip.cpm and the item is Fragger unlock all world. The type is in app purchase. Could you please provide me with
              A. Who ordered this purchase
              B. His name and his address,
              C. How did he got my account number with iTunes and who authorized with this purchase
              D. The name of the owner of the iPad who download this Fragger....etc the name to whom the iPad is registered
In the mean time, Cancel this charge and Return the charge to my credit card.

This is a user forum. If you believe the charge is fraudulent, contact your credit card company and dispute the charge. Also change your iTunes password immediately.

Music is designed to sync in one way only, and that is from iTunes to the phone. There is the expectation that you would backup the computer to save this data. There are 3rd party solutions to try and recover music from the phone to put back into a blank iTunes library.

I found out the hard way on this one. All you need is to use the drop down and put mr, mrs etc and then be sure to select none for the billing if you do not want to use a credit card. Apple does not explain this little step when it asking for your billing information.

like i said its not the credit card that is attached to my itunes account. so looking at purchase history doesnt tell me anything.

I don't think you need to do anything. What I mean is, you can and sounds like you have checked your own AppleID/account history and nothing untoward shows up there. So, if the fradulent charges were simply a result of your credit card number being compromised and had nothing to do with iTunes or Apple, then your credit card company will be in touch shortly with an investigation summary. Really, all you need do for that is write down that the card was in your possession at the time, that it has never been associated with your iTunes account, and that your iTunes account checks out with your known purchase history. End of your involvment.
When someone charged an airline ticket to my card a few years ago, I did nothing but let the credit Bank run their investigation, wrote out my little statement (similar to what I mentioned above) on the report when I got it, sent it back in, end of story.
I just think from what you've posted, you've done your bit by calling Visa. As long as you are sure your iTunes account is not itself compromised, you need not do anything further yourself.
And from what you say, I don't think this has anything to do with iTunes - your credit card was compromised somehow (like the several million or so compromised just this past few weeks). It may have been used to purchase stuff from iTunes, but that was use of the stolen credit card info, not a hack of an Apple iTunes account. People buy weird stuff with stolen card numbers - I've known people who suddenly have seen gas purchases for a few tens of dollars on their cards, but made in States many removed from the one they live in.
