I've downloaded Firefox 3.6 in order to upgrade to prevent online attacks as advised but when I try to drag teh new icon into the applications folder it says I do not have sufficient priviledges??

I've had an 'urgent' message telling me to upgrade Firefox to 3.6.6 in order to prevent online attacks but when I try to drag the newly downloaded icon into the applications folder a message comes up saying I do not have sufficient priviledges. Can you explain why and what I have to do?

I was asked to update my Foxfire which I did but at one point it said I would be prompted to move the Foxfire icon into the applications folder and I was never prompted to do so, therefore I do not know what to do next.

When I try to put the icon in the applications folder, it says it can't install it because this file is in use: libsoftokn3.dylib. Ihave closed all apps and I have no idea what this is.

When I try to put the updated Firefox icon into my applications folder, I see this message:

I have closed all apps and don't understand what this refers to.

When I try to load ABC news I get the error message that says Firefox stopped this page from loading. Do you want to allow it? Of course I do, or I would not have gone there. It does not do this onother pages. How do I make it stop?

It consistently does this when I try to read ABC news and when I try to go to my bank's web site. I am getting real tired of this. This message will pop up over and over even after clicking allow. How do I shut this off it is really annoying.
