Hello Expert,
as written in the object i need to import Advance payments (not against any invoice) via DTW.
Can i import only the template Payments as a stand alone?
the error i get is: no matching records found and here is an example of the template:

0     S000082     100.40.000     492.30     GBP          0.0000     rSupplier     20110218          tYES
1     C000470     100.30.000     247.59     EUR          1.0961     rCustomer     20110218          tYES

Hi,
It is possible. Are you looking for payment on account  . You have to use two templates,
1. Payments
2. Payments accounts
and customer and supplier cannot be imported in one template the Incoming payments for Customer and Outgoign payments for suppliers.

  • How to import Incoming Payments via DTW

    Hello all,
I am importing opening balances for Customers via DTW.  My client wants to import all the open Invoices at their original amount, and then import the incoming payments against them to have them net out to the correct remaining balance.  I already know how to import the invoices.  I'm looking at using the PaymentDrafts template in DTW for the Incoming payments but I could use some guidance.  Can anyone provide and example of the data required to both import the incoming payments and apply them to the appropriate AR Invoice?
    Thanks,

The invoice value is 100.00 and it is divided in 10 parts. The parts are paid monthly and 7 ones were already paid.
How can i import the remain parts?
    Value --- DueDate
    10.00     02/27/2008
    10.00     03/27/2008
    10.00     04/27/2008
I ve made a import test:

    1          2     001          1121410          125          10          20080427
When i check the import process result in B1:
       - All the invoice payment parts are joined into a single part, resulting in a line with amount value iquals - 30.00.(negative number) and the line is blue...
I would like to import these parts divided in three lines(not joined) with his respective Duedate and the amount value positive.

  • Import Invoice via DTW - DocDate

    Dear Experts,
I tried to import Invoice via DTW. I filled the 'DocDate' column in the oInvoice template with '20080102'. But when I checked the invoice from the A/R Invoice module the result was 20080504. Why DTW uses my system date instead of the date I put in 'docdate'? How to import this date correctly?
    Thank you in advance.

  • How to set default bill to/ship to flag for addresses imported via DTW?

    Hi experts,
I'm currently preparing the initial import of Business Partner Master Data but I'm struggeling a bit with the logic behind the dtw templates.
From my perspective the best way should be to import first the Business Partners general information and then import all addresses with the seperate address template. But how is it possible to define the default bill to and ship to addresses in this template!?
As alternative way I thought about importing the default ship to and bill to addresses with the general master data and import all additional addresses with the address template. But the geneal BP template seems lacking some fields like street no for example!? What means these addresses will miss this information.
What is your recommened way in this case?
Thanks in advance for any hints!

    Hi,

  • Import Chart of Account via DTW - field ReconciledAccount doesn't work

    Hi all,
I'm importing Chart of Accounts (segmented) via DTW.
I want to set the SAP LocManTran field to YES
so in the Excel file, I populate the  ReconciledAccount field with tYES
The importation works fine but the SAP LocManTran field is not ticked after the import
    Someone could help?

    Hi Christian,
ReconciledAccount is the field RealAccount.  There is LockManualTransaction in the template you should set tYES.

    Boa tarde.
A importação via dtw tanto contas a pagar como contas a receber é feito utilizando a importação de lançamentos contábeis manual.
No caso do contas a receber, você deverá debitar cliente e creditar saldo inicial de sistema.
Utilizar as planilhas de importação chamadas JournalEntry.
Qualquer coisa me da um toque.

  • Import Warehouses via DTW

I am trying to import the Warehouses via the DTW, but I am getting the following error.
Update Failed Transaction Created by document was not found, 'Revenue Account'Application defined or object defined error 65171
Ive got the Revenue account number entered onto the template (segmented chart of accounts) without the dashes. When i empty the cell of the revenue account for the particular warehouse in the DTW template it gives the same error for 'Sales Credit Account'
    I am using 2007 PL30.
    Hope someone can help me.

Suda, here is a few of them.
    RevenuesAccount     SalesCreditAcc     SalesCreditEUAcc     ShippedGoodsAccount
    100100101CNL     100200101CNL                          300404201CNL
All these accounts already exists in the database.
The first 7 digsts is the account number, the next two (01) is the company code and then CNL is the Warehouse code.

  • DTW Error when importing Incoming Payments-Invoices (RCT2).

    Hi Experts,
I have imported invoices through DTW and they currently have the status 'Open'. I have tried importing Incoming Payment records but DTW gives me the following error: 'Base document card and target document card do not match'.
After importing the invoices i ran the query for OINV and used the Internal Number / DocEntry for these invoices, in the RCT 2 table. (I read some where that its this DocEntry that will link Invoices and Incoming Payments). I have filled the DocEntry field in both ORCT and RCT 2 templates but am still getting the same error.
    Kindly assist.
    David.

Hi, any luck fixing this issue?
Im dealing with the same problem here.

  • OVendor Payments using DTW

    Hello,
Can anyone please help me with the templates for importing Outgoing Payments using the DTW. What are the mandatory fields and files? i keep getting an "I/O overlapping error"
    Confused.
    Thanks !
    Greeshma

    Hi Jimmy,
I am using SAP B1 Patch level 20 and DTW patch level 13. I am trying to fill in teh template for oVendorPayments. There are a few tmeplates for outgoing payments:
    Payments.xlt
    Payments_Accounts.xlt
    Payments_Checks.xlt
    Payments_CreditCards.xlt
    Payments_Invoices.xlt
I assume for normal Vendor Payments i would only fill in the Payments.xlt but that doesnt seem to work. For all the other kinds of outgoing payments i would fill in Payments and one of the others Accounts/Checks/CreditCards.
The fields i am filling in on the Payments template are:
    RecordKey
    BankAccount (e.g. _SYS00000000869)
    CardCode
    CashSum
    DocDate
    DocObjectCode (e.g. bopot_OutgoingPayments)
    DocTypte (e.g. rSupplier)
    PaymentPriority (e.g. bopp_Priority_6)
    JournalRemarks
    Does this look ok?
    Kind regards,
    Greeshma

  • Advance Payment to Vendor

    HI Gurus,
My client is giving advance payment to Vendors. These are the two scenarios
    i) 10 to 75% advance payment for domestic Vendor
ii) 50 to 100%  advance payment to Import Vendor.
My question is how I'll map these in SAP???
Give me the process flow for this
    Pranaya
    *******Points will be rewarded**********

    Hi,
Advance payment to Vendors can be paid and you have to do few customisation.
In F-47 and F-48 t.code , advance payments to vendors paid WRT to PO.
    Follow the following steps:
    1.Check the Vendor reconciliation A/C,
2.Go to FS00, and check Filed Status Group,
3.Go to OBC4, check the Filed Status Group, what u have mentioned for the Vendor reconciliation account.
    4. Go To material management segment and put optional entry for the field of Purchase Order and save.
5.Now come to F-48, enter the date, vendor, assign the sp.G/L transaction(A),bank sub account, amount,
then enter, it will take to next screen
Here you enter amount & your purcahse order number with reference to your are going to make the payment. Now simulate and save.

  • Updating Warehouse Infor via DTW

    Hi,
I'm having some diffuclties in updating my warehouse info particularly the warehouses average price per item.
    Example:
    Item.txt has
    RecordKey         ItemCode
    1                          A1
    2                          B1
    3                          C1
    WhseInfo.txt has
    RecordKey   WhseCode   LineNum   ToAvgPrc   FrmAvgPrc
    1                    1                    0           1.00              2.00
    1                    2                    1           1.00              2.00
    1                    3                    2           1.00              2.00
    1                    4                    3           1.00              2.00
    2                    1                    0           3.00              2.00
    2                    2                    1           3.00              2.00
    2                    3                    2           3.00              2.00
    2                    4                    3           3.00              2.00
    3                    1                    0           2.00              2.00
    3                    2                    1           2.00              2.00
    3                    3                    2           2.00              2.00
    3                    4                    3           2.00              2.00
Whenever the uploads begins, I always ended-up with this kind of error 'Field cannot be updated (ODBC -1029)Application-defined or object-defined error65171' and this error occurs only for some item. With the data shown above, only Item C1 would have that kind of problem.
And the reason why I wanted to do the update via DTW is I don't want to have an accounting entry for this update.
Is there anybody could explain or help me on this.
    Thanks in advance.

I got your point and I'm aware that. I actually assumed that it would be the next subject, but apparently (based from the actual data that I have) for some items even if FrmAvgPrc and ToAvgPrc is the same, DTW upload is ok and for some items that have difference, upload was unsuccessful. And when I chose to eliminate/delete the item that causes the error, upload was successful.
    Here is the actual data;
    Item.txt
    RecordKey     ItemCode
    RecordKey     ItemCode
    1     000000200T
    2     000100000P
    3     000100000T
    4     000100200T
    WhseInfo.txt
    RecordKey     LineNum     StandardAveragePrice     WarehouseCode
    RecordKey     LineNum     StandardAveragePrice     WarehouseCode
    1     0     899.05     ACE01
    1     1     899.05     ACE02
    1     2     899.05     ACE03
    1     3     899.05     ACE04
    2     0     200.89     ACE01
    2     1     200.89     ACE02
    2     2     200.89     ACE03
    2     3     200.89     ACE04
    3     0     0     ACE01
    3     1     0     ACE02
    3     2     0     ACE03
    3     3     0     ACE04
    4     0     25.33     ACE01
    4     1     25.33     ACE02
    4     2     25.33     ACE03
    4     3     25.33     ACE04
item 000100200T cause the problem and the rest are not, aside from that, item 000100000P and 000100000T doesn't have any changes with the item cost while 000000200T and 000100200T do have. and all item has history of transaction. and leaving LineNum column as blank doesn't made any effect at all.

  • Create AP payment via Cash Management

    Hi all,
In EBS 12.1.3 i try to create an AP Payment via Cash Management Responsibility. But when the forms redirects me where i should create the payment - one of the field/BANK_ACCOUNT_NAME/ is populated by default with strange value. I suppose it should take the value from bank_account_name in the cash header. Instead of this it takes value for another bank/i'm unable to find the logic of taking exactly this bank account.../
    For example :
    In Cash - Bank acc name = A in Payables - B,
In Cash Bank acc name = C in Payables - D
    and so on...
Any ideas? Maybe some settings for creating AP Payments via the Cash Management responsibility?
    Thanks in advance,
