Inspn Lot picking Routing & not Insp Plan

Fellas,
I'm doing in-process Insp on my matl. For an Insp lot created for a Prdn Order, the system is picking up the routing (task list type N) even when there is a valid Insp plan avlbl for that matl. Further, on "change" insp lot, the Task list button has been disabled, i.e cannot manually select a diff task list (insp plan) either..
I'm new @ QM, pls help me with ur expert opinions
cheers

Dear,
1. First check for ur material type, task list type is assigned or not. Go SPRO - QM -Quality Planning - Inspection Planning - General -Assign task list types to material types.
2. Check the validity dates of ur inspection plan.
3. In routing characteristics overview you have button on application tool bar to make consistency check. Check the same.
4. If you still have the problem delete the old routing and create new one with inspection plan with correct validity dates and check.

  • ROUTE NOT GETTING DETERMINED in order

    Dear SAP EXPERTS !
    1. The route is not been able to be determined in the sytem for the Order.
I have maintained the Transporation zone in the Customer Master.
    And Route Determination :
Country Dep. Zone and Country Destination Zone
Without Weight group: Transporation zone and weight group in CMR & MMR.
Also assigned shipping point with Trp. Zone.
    2.  Shipment Documents :
In Route : When We define the transporation connection points do we have always have to specify the
    Reference Customers?
How will I assign all Customers to different Tranp. Connec . Point.
In the Shipment Documents Creation: VT01n
I am unable to find the deliveries Craeted.
After Searching for the deliveries in the Same : I can see the Transp. connection Points  and Customer
But there is no delivery .
    How to Resolve the issues.
    regards,
    A S
    regards,
    A S

    Dear AS,
Check the IMG settings for the route determination.
    IMG path to Route determination
    IMG>Logistics Execution>Shipping>Basic shipping functions-->Routes
    -->Define Transportation Zones
-->Maintain Country And Transportation Zone For Shipping Point
    -->Define Transportation Groups
    -->Define Weight Groups
    -->Maintain Route Determination
-->Define New Route Determination By Delivery Type
Route will get determine through this combination
    Depature country Zone(From Shipping point)Destination country Zone(From Ship to party master data)Shipping conditions(From ship to party)+Transportation Group(From Material master)-->Route
    or
Depature country ZoneDestination country ZoneShipping conditionsTransportation ZoneWeight group-->Route
As per the standard process Route will get determine in the sales order it self based on the above cobination,This route will copied to the delivery or you have new route determination while creation of delivery.
You check the Customer master  data -->shipping tab shipping conditions are maintained or not.
How will I assign all Customers to different Tranp. Connec . Point.
In Route : When We define the transporation connection points do we have always have to specify the
    Reference Customers?
Yes you need to give refernce Customer or reference shipping point then only system will pick route properly because Route gets determine based Customer and shipping point only(Transportation Zone).
Normally Transportation connection points will be used when the route have different stages.
Fro Example route from Coimbatore to Channai in this route we have 4 stages 1.Thiruppur 2.Salem 3.Erode 4.Villupuram.
Here you can define 5 transportation connection points 1.Coimbatore 2.Thiruppur 3.Salem 4.Erode 5.Villupuram. Based on these Transportation connection points Route stages will be defined.
In Coimbatore transportation connection point you need to assign Coimbatore Shipping point
In Thiruppur transportation connection point you need to assign Thrippur Customer.
In Salem transportation connection point you need to assign Salem Customer.
In Erode transportation connection point you need to assign Erode Customer.
In Villupuram transportation connection point you need to assign Villupuram Customer. Based on this system will now all the stages comes under single route.
In the Shipment Documents Creation: VT01n
I am unable to find the deliveries Craeted.
While creating shipment document you need to select the deliveries Through the delivery selction screen by clicking on Deliveries push button or press F6 deliveries will not come directly in to the shipment document.
Before going to select deliveries that deliveries should relavent for the transportation and should not complete the PGI.
I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • Route not determing automatically at sales order level for some sales order

    Dear All ,
Route not determing automatically at sales order level  for some sales orders. We are using automatic route determination without wt group, eventhough we have configured the required settings
I have checked all the forums but didn't find any solution for the same.
    Looking for your inputs .
    Thanks inadvance
    Regards
    Venkat

    Hi
    1. Copare the Routes which are Automatically determined and which are not automatically determined
    2. Have you mainted this route to be RELEVANT FOR TRANSPORTATION without this check route will not get picked up.
SPRO > Logistic General > Shipping > Basic Shipping Function > Routes > Define Routes > Define Routes and stages > Select the Route and check for it's settings > CHECK MARK Relevant for Transport. Without this check the route will not get picked up as of my understanding.
    Thanks

  • CK11N , bom and routing not copied

    Dear all,
At time of costing run through CK11N , bom and routing not copied I have checked all validity/ status /uses / lot size of bom and routing also . but when i will run costing for next month system has copied bom and routing .
    plz guide me

    Dear Surendra Patil,
Check the costing variant that you use for executing CK11N, is it PPC1?
If this is correct means check in T code OKKN and choose PPC1 and check for the quantity structure
control and check the BOM apllication and the routing selection ID.
This should match with your BOM that you have created and also the routing that you have created.
    1. Check the BOM status in CS03---> header.
2.Check the status & usage of routing in CA03,generally it will be
    Usage                1    Production
    Status               4    Released (general)
    3. If you are using Production version check whether have you assigned proper routing group & counter
and along with the BOM.Also check whether is the production version locked?
    Check & Revert back.

  • WRT54GS "Router Not Supported".

Hello.  I have a WRT54GS V.6.  I have had it for quite a long time, but just yesterday it stopped giving internet to its wired connection.  The wireless connection was working fine.  I reset the router (holding the button in for thirty seconds and planned on making a new network). Everytime now it tells me: "Router Not Supported".  I looked around the support here, and ended up downloading the firmware upgrade and upgraded the router, reset it once again, and tried once more.  Same problem.  "Router Not Supported".  The power light is on.  The WLAN light is on, the Ethernet Port 1 light is on, and the Internet light is blinking.  So it IS recieving the signals.  I don't understand what's wrong.  I have no internet connectivity through the router, either.
    Can someone help me?

Further browsing of the forums, and I came across this:
Step 1 : You should just connect the router to main wired computer from ( port 1,2,3,4). No need to connect the dsl modem in this step .
Step 2 : hard reset the router It seems that we will have to reset the device back to the factory defaults. Kindly follow these steps to reset the device:- - While the device is 'ON', press the reset button on the back panel of the device using a pointed object and keep it held for about 60 seconds. - You will notice that the power light on the device would start blinking, indicating that it is being reset. - After 60 seconds release the reset button and switch 'OFF' the Linksys device and wait for 10 seconds and then switch it 'ON' again. - Let the power light on the device stabilize.
Step 3 : wireless settings. Please access the setup page of the router by launching an Internet Explorer and type on the address bar, 192.168.1.1 and press enter. When it prompts for the username and password, leave the username field empty and provide password as admin all in lower cases and then click on ok. Click on the Wireless tab - Here Wireless Network mode should be mixed - Provide any new name in the Wireless Network Name (SSID) box, all in lower cases without any spaces in between. Do not use any old name - Set wireless channel to 11 - And wireless SSID broadcast should be Enabled and then click on save settings.
    Step 4 : wireless security
    1. When the router's setup page appears, please click on the Wireless tab.
    2. When the Wireless area appears, click on the Wireless Security sub tab.
    3. When the Wireless Security area appears, select WEP under Security Mode dropdown.
    4. Encryption should be set to 64 bits 10 hex digits.
    5. Skip the Passphrase box.
    6. In the WEP Key1 box, type in a phone number (just the numbers no spaces or dashes) that you can remember in the box.
    7. Make a note of these 10 numbers; this would be your wireless network's key.
    8. Leave the key 2, key 3 and key 4 boxes blank, and then click on the Save Settings button.
Step 5 : On the 192.168.1.1 set up page of the router , please click on the set up tab . In that you will find an option as local ip address 192.168.1.1 . Please change that to 10.10.10.1 and then hit save settings at the bottom. Once setting's are saved close that page.
Step 6 : confirmation of the physical connection. You should connected the modem router ( internet port ) to main wired computer ( port 1,2,3,4). Now switch OFF both your modem and the router. Switch ON the modem first and wait for about 40 seconds and only then switch on router. At the end of the step 6 try going online from the wired computer . If you are not able to go online from the wired computer than do the step 7
Step 7 : Please access the setup page of the router by launching an Internet Explorer and type on the address bar, 10.10.10.1 and press enter. When it prompts for the username and password, leave the username field empty and provide password as admin all in lower cases and then click on ok. On the main setup page select the Internet Connection Type as PPPoE. - Then provide the username and password provided by your ISP (Internet service provider) for your connection. (Example: [email protected]) - For MTU select Manual from the drop down box and set the MTU size to 1250. - Select the Keep Alive option and choose the redial period as 30 sec
    (Originally in BTB's post)
And it worked for me. :]  So my problem is solved.

  • Error QP 146 : Inspection Characteristic used several times in Insp Plan

    Hi Experts,
I am getting error message while saving Insp plan which uses same qualitative master inspection characteristics more than twice.
I observed that, it doesnt happen for certain inspections characteristics used mulitple times, but for some it does.
There is no difference between the control indicator of both. I have been debugging to find the reason and have not got any success.
I know that there is an unanswered post already on the same topic. Still posting this in search of luck
    Can anybody help ?
    Thanks,
    Nandi

Yes.. if you are loading via a BDC I have heard other people complain about the issue.  It is only a "hard" error when running via  BDC.
To the best of my knowledge there is no work around for this with regard to the MIC's.  It always has been a warning and there is no way to get rid of the warning.  As I said, it has been a pain in the @ss for me over the years.
As far as the BDC I suggest  you post this in an ABAP forum and see if there is a way to progammatically trap for this error and recover from it.  SAP does provide their own program for loading inspection plans.  I don't know if you have looked at this or not.  I don't know if their program allows for this type of situation or not.  Most places have opt'ed to write their own ABAP for loading since the one SAP provides can be somewhat tedious and frustrating to get running and to set up the files for.

  • Route not found on nokia maps

    Hi can anybody help.
I updated my firmware on my N95 recently and now when I try to plan a route a keep getting 'route not found' message.
I can see the local area map when I get a gps connection but if I type in an address , which is not in surrounding area I get the message above. If I move the map pointer in maps around I can move to an area where roads etc disappear.
For example I have my home address in landmarks and my work (approx 10 miles apart) and even though I'm able to see surrounding maps when I'm at either place it will not calculate a route from one to the other.
    Help

We found that the N95 needed to be "on line" before it would calcualte a route.

  • Routing not found

    Hi friends,
i have created routing for finish product  .in MTO  senario i went for MRP RUN after sales order is entered. .the corresponding planned order is created . but when itry to convert the planned order to production order  a message is coming like  <b>routing not found</b>.
so please syuggest what to do?its urgent
    feasible answer will be awarded
    THANKS & REGARDS
    OM

    OM,
Check whether the routing is having valid status and Usage 1 or 3 - Status - 2 or 4.  This you can check in the routing header.
Also check the validity based on Lotsize , whether the sale order quantity is within lotsize mentioned in the header of the routing.
Also check the Validity start date of the routing in the header, the Plannned order start date should be latter than the routing valid start date.

  • Re Read insp Plan

    Dear All,
there is an insp plan. and a lot is created automatically with that insp plan and lot status is REL.
Now i have changed that insp plan i.e, added two more MICs in that plan.  How can i re read that insp plan to the lot. is it possible.
Lot should be updated with the ammended insp plan

    Dear Siva
You can attach the new specification, if there has been no result recording or any activity confirmation done for the lot. Here is the steps for assigning the inspection plan again
    1) Go to QA02 >Input the lot number
    2) Menu > INspection lot > Reset Sample
    3) Enter & Save
    4) QA02
    5) Inspection specification > Assign task list by click on Task/ specification
    6) Go to Sample, do the SAmple calculation
    7) Save
    8) Check whehter lot status is Rel

  • Updated Firmware WRT54GS V7...Now Router "Not Supported"

Hello all. Just bought a new WRT54GS V7. Set up per instructions and it worked flawlessly. Detected both wireless rigs without a problem, and wired rigs worked. Decided (as I always do) to upgrade the firmware to the latest update. Got the latest .bin file for version 7, etc. Followed update instructions to the letter, including pressing the reset button for 30 seconds. Now, when trying to set up the network again, I get to the point of EasyLink trying to find the router, and I get the message "Router not supported. Easylink Advisor is designed to set up Linksys networking products.....". I re-downloaded the file in case of corruption...three times actually. Repeated the entire process with each. Still same problem. Now, I know that pretty much everything, including this router, says not to update the firmware or bios unless you are having a problem. No, I wasn't having a problem, and I guess for the first time I should have paid attention. Any suggestions/solutions? Thanks in advance.

Disable all firewall first on the computer ..... again download the .bin file from the website ....
Save it on your computer .... access routers setup page & try to upgrade the firmware again ..... make sure that you are picking up the correct file ....
After upgrade reset & reconfigure the router ....

  • Pass on lot size" function not supported in costing runs

hi when i am doing cost estimate through ck40n i am getting following error.
Pass on lot size" function not supported in costing runs
    Message no. CK463
    Diagnosis
You have selected costing variant PPC1 for the costing run. The Pass on lot size indicator is set in this costing variant. Costing variants in which this indicator is set cannot be used by the costing run.
    System Response
The costing run is not created.
    Procedure
    You have the following options:
Reset the Pass on lot size indicator in costing variant PPC1 so that the lot size is not passed on.
Use a different costing variant in which the Pass on lot size indicator is not set.
if any one had found any same king of error please help me in fix it.
    thanks
    kareem

Probably this might be the cause
    Sales order by Costing
    Check out the below
    Pass On Lot Size
    Definition
If this indicator is selected, the system determines the costing lot size using the lot size of the highest material in the BOM and the input quantities of the components.
    Use
    1) Do not pass on lot size
If this indicator is not selected, the materials further down in the structure are costed in accordance with the lot size in the costing view of the material master record. When the materials in the next-highest costing level are costed, the costing results of the semifinished materials are converted to the lot size of the finished material to calculate the material costs for the finished product.
    2) Pass on lot size only with individual requirement
In the MRP view of the material master record, you can specify that a material is planned as an individual requirement. If such a material is added to another material, costing uses the lot size of the highest material.
    3) Always pass on lot size
Here, the costs for all the materials in a multi-level BOM are calculated using the costing lot size of the highest material. This function is used principally in sales order costing.
If you are costing sales orders using product costing for a material with a multilevel BOM that is produced in-house, choose 2) or 3) . For those individual requirements materials, from a business management point of view it is recommended that the order lot size be used when costing the material components going into the finished product. On the other hand, materials subject to collective requirements are generally costed using the costing lot size in the material master record.
    Thanks

  • Not getting planned order in MD04.........

    Hi SAP GURUS,
I have a HALB metl and after runnung mrp in MD03, system is not displaying planned order.
I maintained all relevant parameters also .
Please help me ,not getting further solution.
    Regards,
    Imran

    Hi,
Before further discuusing your issue, can you tell us that is this the first time you are facing this issue, while running the MRP, or is it the first time the material is undergoing MRP run??
    a) Has this material underwent any MRP run before?
    b) what is procurement type? (though this is silly question to ask but...)
    c) can you check the stock of the material for which you are doing MRP run. (coz MD03 is single item, single level)
    d) MRP Type and lot size?
Rest all is already being suggested to you, like checking the planning file, if entry not maintained then please maintain the entry in planning file.

  • Insp.plan(very urgent)

    hi experts,
plz give reply for this thread it  is  very urgent
    My scenario:
I am using 02 insp type.initially i want to post the material (w/o purchase order).
I want to inspect the material(ROH) while issuing the production.for this what type of settings to do.in which stock type i have to post the roh.
i  have created  insp.plan with 06  type for ROH.insp lots  are forming but without results recording and       ud i am able              to  do everything to that prodn.order.i need it should restrict .
    regards.
plz clarify this i will reward u and close this thread

    Hi Prasad,
I think you`ve done all the things needed. But one thing you need to remember is that 02 inspection is non-stock relevent similar to in-process inspection. It means you can do record results  and take ud, but you cannot do any stock posting. Hope you got it cleared.

  • System is not considering Planned Delivery time

    Dear Gurus,
As iam planning for the month of January and running the MRP,schedulelines are getting generated but system is not condering Planned Delivery time maintained in the material master ie. 7days.Following is the example:
I have a FERT-X with a component A-1PC in its BOM and its planned delvery time from vendor is 7 Days.If iam running the MRP on 13/12/2010 for FERT-X  100 PCS for January1,2011 then the schedule lines are getting generated for for component A is on 01/01/2011.But PDT is maintianed in material master is 7 days and same has been maintianed in vendor inforecord. But system is not considering it.
Kindly help to resolve the issue.
    With Regards.

I have one ROH which has two different vendors.
Two scheduling Agreemnt with target qty 100000 kg each.
Two different Vendor info record with Min. order qty maintained.V1-1000Kg,V2-6000Kg.
One source list with two vendors and with respective scheduling agreement.
Quota arrangement is there in which SOB is maintiained 50:50.
I hv the requirement of 3084 kg of ROH.
I run the MRP and two diiferent schedule lines are getting generated with 50:50 qty as mentioned in Quota arrangement.
Not considering the minimum order qty maintiained in vendor info record.
    The above process is correct
Only One doubt In Quota Arrangement?
IS two schedule line is created after MRP run?
Generally System will  select a vendor Whose Quota value is less
quota rating   = quota base quantity + quota-allocated quantity/ quota
