KM document workflow

Hi,
I have enabled approval process for a folder in CM repository . When I submitted a document for approval process, it is sending both the task and notification to UWL. I want the notification to be sent to approver's MS- Outlook express inbox instead of UWL.
I am getting notifications to my MS-Outlook inbox when I subscribed for the documents but not for the above case. I also checked couple of threads with similar issue, but they were not answered. Can any body please give me some valuable pointers?

  • Not able to edit the words "chapter" and "section" in the document workflow

    Hi all,
    I would like to point out something that could be a bug. The 2 words "chapter" and "section" are not editable in the document workflow: I can just change the title for each chapter and the title for each section, but I am not able to change the words "chapter" and "section".
    The problem is, iBooks Author is using the words "chapter" and "section" (heading 1) to build the TOC: if I am using iBooks Author in English, but I am writing a text in French, I am not able to change "Chapter" into "Chapitre". The only way to go, what I found out, is to close the app, change the OSX Lion system language, log out, re-open iBooks Author and start a new book: opening an English book  in the French version of iBooks Author will not change automatically the language in the workflow.
    Does anybody has a trick to edit the words "chapter" and "section"?

    Thank you, but it's still in english.
    I changed to "only number", then wrote the word "chapter" in french or italian or german before the number, then deleted the preview on the iPad and made a new preview, I still have the same result: the word "chapter" is still in the language of the app. 
    To be clear: I am writing a text using iBooks Author in italian. I have to translate the same text in french, the fastest way would be to rework the italian version (I already have all the multimedia stuff inside). I changed the italian word "Capitolo" (chapter) to the french one "Chapitre" (using the advices of AodhFFXI and K T). And for the first slide of the chapter that's fine.
    But if I "close down" the first chapter slide or if I click on the top left botton to go to the chapter TOC, there I still have the word in italian, even if the word has been deleted in the layout:

  • FIDCC2 parking document workflow

    Hi All
    I have one requirement regarding parking document workflow:
    We're using FIDCC2 Inbound IDoc to post the vendor invoices. As per our requirement, the incoming document should not be posted. Instead it should park. Upto this point we are successful.
    But, after parking, a workflow should start and create an workitem in the user's inbox saying that parking document is ready for approval.
    In FBV3, if we select the radio button Release necessary then it should create the workflow. But, even after checked that button it doesn't create the workflow.
    Your help is highly appreciated on this. Please..

  • Make a document workflow in portal

    Hello,
    We have a requirement which we need to have a documents workflow such contains steps,
    1. document author submit the documnet
    2. each next step can edit/add content to the document and continue to next step.
    3. after last step the ducument is realese
    I know that the KM workflow allow only to approve/reject in each step. and that every change in the documnet (for authorize users) force to start the flow form the first step.
    Is there any soloution I can use for this requirenent within portal/netweaver ?

    Hi Ami, since it's not possible doing it by standards I think you could
    either do:
    A small portal application (WebDynpro/java)
    or
    Use Collaboration services, where you'd have a room with the authors
    and aproovers as members, whenever an author have a new document,
    he would create a new task for the first aproover with the document attached,
    the 1st aproover makes his work and create another task for the next
    aproover, finally for last aproover his task would include uploading the
    document into KM.
    That's kinda big workaround but it's a way it could be done, tasks in collaboration
    rooms are friendly and it's possible to set date priority, notify by email, etc

  • Post budget document from approved pre-posted budget document workflow

    Hi,
    We are using budget version "0" for AVC Check and "1" for provision budget used for sending further approvals.
    I am uploading provisional budget i.e Pre-posted budget with version "1"  and sending  two levels for approvals by using SAP Standard workflow.
    If pre-posted budget document approved by 2 levels, what is impact on budget posted document?
                       a) Will Pre-posted approved document be convert into Actual budget document with Version "0" (or)
                       b) Will Pre-posted document remain same by updating status with "approved", there by User again needs to post actual budget document with Version "0" by using "FMBB"

    The Pre-posted document will remain the same i.e.approved version 1. In order to create version 0 you can copy from version to version.

  • Parked document workflow(urgent)

    Hello all,
    I have modified the std wf for parked documents(ws00400004).I hav e to implement the subworklfow (ws10000052) fro 2 level release for the main workflow.i.e.I have three steps in my main workflow(Complete,release and post).At the 2nd step I want to implement the Subworkflows(For release based on amount).
    For this ,What settings I have to make so that the corresponding release level workflow gets triggered (as per the customization settings n SPRO for amount).How do i define the exact point where the subworkflow shud get triggered and in order to do so,do i need to make any settings at the workflow level or this can be entirely done through Customization settings?
    Please help.

  • Office document workflow.

    Dear all,
               The requirement is when an office document is created , workflow should trigger and the workitem should go to the approver who may edit and approve or reject.
               Is there any standard transaction for office document creation?If not,please suggest me how accomplish this scenario for which I will be grateful.
               Standard bus objects like SOFM and MESSAGE has methods like EDIT to serve the purpose.I suppose, the events given in these bus objects can also the purpose.But to how to make these events to raise?

                   First let me clarify your points :
                   1) What kind of document you want to create - related to which module.
                      The word document which I want to create do not belong to any module.
                      The content of document could be like a circular letter say the body is about code for employees in office premise.
                   2)Can it be done like Create a word document offline and upload the same document.
                      Creating a word document and uploading to SAP is O.K.But how to do this?
                   I thought to create the word document in SAP system itself if there could be any standard transaction for the same.Once the document is created workflow should get triggered and carry the document for approval.
                 You have stated "for more information check this program....",may I know that program name?So that I can check whether it will be suitable for my requirement.

  • Question about creating Contract Document workflow

    Hi experts,
         I have started to create the first workflow for the Contract Document. I have a lot of questions in mind and i think you guys can help me to clarify those question. Please see the following question.
       1. When i created a new Phase Defination for Contract Document, i have seen 2 phases which can not be remove ('Draft' and 'Excuted'). I understand that those phases are the madatory phase for Contract Document, when a contract is created and saved for 1st time it will be automatically moved to 'Draft' or i need to write the script to change the phase to 'Draft'. When everythings done('approved') it should be moved to 'Excecuted'.  Am i correct?
       2. I'd like to add the approver in the Collaborators collection. for example  i'd like to add 'noppong.j' (user id) as approver in the Collaborators,. which api do i have to use to look up the user object and add it to Collaborators collection.
       3. I'm using TWE 2.2-1 to create XPDL. Does the participant in the TWE tool have to be the same as the approver in the script.In other word the participant in TWE is 'Approver', but i add 'noppong.j' as the approver in the preScript. Is in work?

    I can think of two approval scenarios that I am explaining below.
    1. Approver automatically added based on certain predefined condition once contract is moved to approval phase: This scenario could be achieved using workflows wherein using addApprover() method approver would be added dynamically.
    2. Adding Approver manually to collaborator list in master agreement: You can add approver manually or using scripts by getting access to collaborators list using functions getCollaborators() and create() and set collaborator role using function setCollaboratorRole() however in this case there is no dynamic identification of collaborators taking place.Again here also you would need to use workflows to carry out approval process.
    I would suggest using the first option as it would provide more flexibility. Hope this would clarify things

  • Re-assign user or agent in Parked document workflow

    Dear Sir,
    We have a situation where we are required to change the user for posting/releasing the parked document.
    The situation is currently we have only one user assigned to releasing the parked document. Now that person has gone on leave for one month. There are certain already parked documents and are lying in his inbox for release. We want to re-assign these document to another user.
    How to achieve this.

  • FI - Parked Documents Workflow problem

         In my organization we are using the following 2 Subworkflows...
        WS     10000052     FIPP_SUBWF01     Single-level amount release
        WS     10000053     FIPP_SUBWF02     Two-Level Amount Release
        There are some documents which already  posted but still appearing in the workflow Inbox.
        how to clear this documents from the workflow.

    These all setiing are already configured. And parked document also posted.
    Even these documens posted still appearing in Workflow inbox. If i double click on this documents system gives the error " Document XXXXXXXX doest not exist. (Because its already posted)
    Can we remove these kind of documents from inbox.

  • Change document  - Workflow Event Container value not passed

    Hi Iam working on a customer create notification scenario where in we are sending a notification to SAP Inbox whenever a customer is created.We are checking industry key(KNA1-BRSCH) value through a check function module.When the customer is created in the system the system triggers the corresponding even it gets in to check module and an exception is raised saying Industry key does not have any value.
    Problem is Industry key value is not passed on to the container.
    Where might be the problem...?
    Is anything missing in SWEC(Events for change document)
    -but the event is trigerred...container value for industry key not passed...
    Please advice...

    User 1 Park the Invoice , Then he will forward to another user 2. User 2 must  have three  option ( Forward, Revert and  Reject )
    after forwarding to User 3, He must have only one option to post the invoice.

    Parking Document: Its is for longer period generally used for internal purpose.  eg: Advance made for employes.
    Parking documents is used when we need to get any clarification regarding some account.
    We can temporarily park or store this document till we get it cleared or approved.
    Then we can post it.
    Remember.... parking does not update the accounts....... it just stores the document..... whereas posting will update the accounts....( for example.... the reducing/increasing of the account balances).
    The TC for Parking Documents is F-02 -> enter the required details ->go to the menu (at top )  ->Document-> Park.
    To post a parked document : FBV0-> go to the menu Document-> Post.
    Other TCs used pertaining to Parking of Documents are :
    FV50 : Post / Delete : Single Screen Transaction
    FBV2 : Change
    FBV3 : Display
    FBV4 : Change Header
    FBV5 : Display Changes
    FBV6 : Refuse

  • Accounts Payable Parking document Workflow

    Dear Experts,
    I am having a requirement that, in the release procedure the following options should be available:
    1 Release
    2. Reject
    3. Change
    As per the workflow template WS10000052, Release and Reject is available but if I want to do the changes, it's not allowed. Our user wants change option as well.
    Can anyone help me how to bring the change option along with Release and Reject.

    The tuple specified (object type, event) is not defined as a triggering event for the specified task.
    System Response
    The action was cancelled, the task was not started.
    Procedure
    Check the task definition. Make sure the entries in the task definition conform to the entries in the type linkage table of the events.

    Im working in FI workflows. My Business object is FIPP. But clients wants to use custom class's instead of FIPP Business object. Now im having doubt in triggering part of the work flow. If I use class, then Is i need to make a entry in SWEC and SWE2? Or Can i use business transaction event to trigger workflow?

    If you are working on the an FI workflow then i would first of all use the object BUS2081 and not FIPP if applicable at all (BUS2081 can cover both FI and MM invoices).
    If you are going to use an ABAP OO class instead, you need to make sure the an event is raised on this class. This can be done in an event receiver functionmodule.  The trick here is to listen for the relevant event to be raised on your FIPP oject (or your BUS2081 object). You can do that in a event receiver FM, you here need to link the FI event in SWE2. From within the Event Receiver FM you can the raise the relevant event on your class.
    After that you just have to link the ABAP OO event to your WF in SWE2. No need for SWEC

  • Workflow not returning document details after update

    Hi,
    I have implemented a custom BPEL workflow process which is triggered upon a document being created or updated in Content Services. The BPEL process uses embedded java to obtain the filename of the document which triggered the workflow (much in the same way as done in the Content Services Web Services Development Kit). This works fine in the GUI version of content services, and using Oracle Drive works when a file is created, however the filename is not retrieved when updating a file using Oracle Drive (even though the workflow is initiated). As far as I can make out the Java Content Services API Workflow Manager is not returning any items when the file is updated, does anyone know why this might be?

    Please ignore the above as the problem is not actually what I originally thought was happening. It turns out that any file which is updated through Oracle Drive does not trigger the BPEL workflow for the Upload Document workflow operation. The workflow that was being triggered for which I could not get details for was a temp file that was being created when browsing Oracle Drive before overwriting a file, the workflow could not get the temp files document details as the file was deleted before it could do so. Does anyone know a way of getting the workflow to be triggered upon the update of a file in Oracle Drive?
