Link Tracking Number

Hello Everyone,
I was searching through the forums and found a thread about UPS Order history page, but not sure this is quite what I was looking for. I wanted to know if it is possible to link the Tracking number that is sent out in the email so when you click on it the UPS site will open with your details. Thanks for the help!

Yep, if you edit the mail template "ordershipped" you'll see that its just HTML with some %% variables included that are in the Netpoint.API.Fulfillment.NPShipment class of the API.
You can edit or add a link to the UPS website that includes the tracking number, provided you are inputting this tracking number into the delivery when creating it in B1.
The link could be something like this: http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/processRequest?HTMLVersion=5.0&Requester=NES&AgreeToTermsAndConditions=yes&loc=en_US&tracknum=

Linking the tracking number

What would be the best way to link the tracking number from Webtools order history to UPS, FexEx or USPS site.
We would like our customer to click on the tracking number and go to appropriate website to track the shipment.

I've never done this but one method I though about was to create a new page in the webtools site that takes a tracking number in the querystring and then based on the format it redirects to the appropriate tracking site. That way the mail template only needs one url surrounding the tracking number but it will eventually sent the customer to the correct site.
Obviously this assumes you can determine correct shipping type based on the tracking number.
I guess instead of passing the tracking number you could just pass the order number and the page looks up the ship method from teh WebTools database.

Suitable Exit/BADI for populating Requirement Tracking Number in PO and PR

Hi all,
I need help from you all. I need a single exit or badi which will trigger before saving any PO or PR while creating.
For PO, it should handle 3 possible cases.
1. Tcode : ME21
2. Tcode : ME21N
3. BAPI function module (Ex: BAPI_PO_CREATE1)
For PR, it should also handle 3 possible cases
1. Tcode : ME51
2. Tcode : ME51N
3. BAPI function module (Ex: BAPI_PR_CREATE)
I need to populate Requirement Tracking Number (BEDNR) field in the line item from a custom number range object and also have to update a custom table.

At runtime, you will get the GUID in the BADI Interface.
Incase this BADI does not help, go for another BADI
1) BBP_SEND_MEDIUM_MODE
(Determines the Default Settings for the Send Medium)
2) 'BBP_OUTPUT_CHANGE_SF'.

IPhoto Book not recived no tracking number

Dear Forum,
I ordered an iphoto book on the 22nd of August got the confirmation email and the shipment email on the 27th of August. I have not received yet my book or have any tracking number. I've contacted apple support and have given me no answers, sent several emails with no answer...

and shipping method: Standard (the only option they gave me), Tracking number: Service with no tracking number.
2- I've contacted twice apple support by mail, by the link you give me, and called them 3 times. On mail and with the link, i have not gotten any response yet, on the phone, they don't look for any solutions or give me any other options.
This was supposed to be a gift for a very important person, who was leaving, today to the USA, I'm in spain and because of everything in life, we are not going to see each other for at least a year now. So this error figures...

To cactus94: I'm probably going to cancel my order and move on to another printing service company, cheaper, same results, and better timing, for this order, and the many next ones to come. I would recommend you to do the same. Hope this issue is solved soon.

Upgraded Online - Can't track without a tracking number

Hi there. I upgraded my phone online yesterday. I received a confirmation email from Verizon and was able to check on the status of my order by following the link in my email. The link said that my new phone has shipped and that I can track my order through the Fedex website. The problem is that the tracking number field is blank. How can I find out when my phone will arrive? Seems I have to sign for it, I want to make sure I'm home.

I'm kind of frustrated about that too. When I ordered my phone through the store, the man specifically told me that the credit card would not be charged until the phone had been shipped. Well the date the phone was expected to ship was 12/27/2011. The money was charged onto the card on Monday, 12/26/2011 which means my phone should have shipped yesterday like it was supposed to and be here today. I have no received my phone and I already saw the FedEx man drive through my business area. I'm not a very happy camper! I never did receive an email with a tracking number though telling me the phone had been shipped. But I'm still very angry!

for everyone that says your order has been shiped, but has no tracking information...... Do me a favor.. at the top of the screen right under the My Verizon link (you can do this on any website no need to leave this page) there is a button that says Check My Order Status
the link is in blue... click on that link, then type in your order information there..... dont go to the iphone splash page and type it there, if you type it where I am telling you to type it... this should give you a tracking number....

Iphone 5s tracking number

I just received a tracking number for my new iphone 5s but when I click on the link from my ipad it tabes me right to fedex website and tells me it's an invalid tracking number. So I went into my email on my phone and tried to pull it up on there about 2 hours later and that one pulled up the ups website but also says that tracking number doesn't exist. Does anyone know who this phone could be shipping through and how long it will take to get to me.It says it was shipped on 10/18, but my guess would be it actually shipped out today 10/21.

I have worked with companies in the past that use Fed Ex and UPS. In fact I helped to set up some of the shipping a few times. What will happen is that a tracking number is issued when a label is printed. Depending on the set up that the company uses with their shipping provider the tracking number will be forwarded on to the customer. It can take 24-48 hours for the tracking information to become available on the Fed Ex/UPS websites once the item is picked up by Fed Ex/UPS. Until then you may see "invalid tracking number" or some variation of "in process" in the system. Hope that helps.

Tracking Number Issue

I placed an order on March 16th and received confirmation of my order on the same day and saw that my estimated delivery is March 27th (I used free shipping from BestBuy). I later received an email on March 18th informing me that my package had been shipped. Along with that email I received a tracking number for that order. I signed up for automatic cell phone text notifications for shipping as well as email notifications for shipping. I've used the UPS tracking number link and manually input the tracking number provided on the UPS website everyday since then. Every time I use the tracking link provided in the shipping confirmation email or input the tracking number on the UPS website I receive the following message "UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later." Now I am aware that it can take up to 48 hours for a tracking number to activate but as of now it has been 3 business days since it shipped and still the number is not active nor have I received any notifications of shipping in form of text or email since shipping confirmation. There are still several days left until ETA/ETD but I would like to sort this situation out now so that we have time to deal with any problems should they arise. I would greatly appreciate a helpful reply!

Placing an order online with us should be a simple and worry free experience. I'm sorry to hear that your tracking number may not be showing an update, and is reflecting as invalid. You are correct that this occasionally occurs within the first 48 hours of the tracking number being generated while the system updates.
Using the email address you registered with the forum, I see that the item shipped on 3/18/15 but that the tracking information appears to be invalid. With that said, if the item doesn't arrive by its current estimated arrival date (3/27/15), please let me know so that I may look further into this to see what options we may have for you.

Track your iPhone 5 OREDER with out TRACKING NUMBER! READ THIS

See a lot of people asking and learned this from the other discussion about it.
If you cant see a tracking number on Apple's site, go to the UPS tracking page at THIS LINK:
http://www.ups.com/tracking/tracking.html
Then go to "Track by Reference" then enter your phone number that is related to Apple information in the Shipment Reference then click enter or click track. You should then get true tracking information. Most people that order early on the 14th will see that their phone is sitting at some UPS wharehouse and waiting for the 21st. This doesnt SEEM TO WORK for everyone but works for MOST.

Got no Tracking Number for my sent back iPhone

Hey guys,
I just visited this site and I`m not sure if I'm right in this place.
I just sent my defect iPhone to the support, and now i got the notification, that my repaired
phone was sent back.
The problem is, that there's no UPS Tracking Number linked to this, so I can't follow the progress
of shipping.
How can I receive the Tracking Number? Would be great to get some feedback from the
community

Call Apple Support and discuss the issue with them. That's the only way you're going to be able to get a tracking number, assuming they can provide one.

Song and Artist Info missing under itunes but not in the original file, and putting track number next to certian songs. Help

i recently updated my itunes...today i opened it up and moticed abuout 100 songs missing...they are now at the bottom of itunes song list with a number next to them with information mission such as this the example below
01 human                                                                 (this song should have the killers name as artist and cd title, etc)
01 hosanna     hillsong united                                 (this song should have the cd title to it)
02 lay me down                                          burning light
02 leave out all the rest
02 let it be                       the beatles
03 papercut
when i go under the original folders and files in the itunes folder everything is normal no missing info, etc. but under itunes orgnising its picking and choosing the same songs and putting the track number next to it and others songs in the same cd not. plus info missing. under the infor when i click right button all info missing there...but not under original file.
please help

A response on this subject from another post:
It could be that you have inadvertently imported these CDs into iTunes as part of a compilation. If so, the artists won't show in the artists menu on the iPod.
To check, highlight the tracks on one of the offending artists CDs in iTunes, right click and select "get info". This brings up a multiple song info window, and from there you can check if you have 'yes' in the box marked "part of a compilation".
If you have, select 'no' instead and click 'ok'. Do this with any CD that has this issue. This will alter the info in iTunes, and you should then connect your iPod and synchronize the changes.
The problem arises because the information contained on the Gracenote CD Data Base (where iTunes gets all it's album/artist/track info from), is sometimes incorrect. It can show CDs as compilations when in fact they are not.

Importing CD to Artist folder\Album folder\file with track number and name:

I have a problem then importing my cd’s to my harddisk using iTunes.
On my previous pc I got what I want, Artist folder, Album folder and file with track number and name:
e.g.
D:\My Music\B.B. King\Blues On The Bayou\01 Blues Boys Tune.mp3
D:\My Music\B.B. King\Blues On The Bayou\02 Bad Case Of Love.mp3
D:\My Music\B.B. King\Blues On The Bayou\03 I'll Survive.mp3
But now I get:
D:\My Music\Compilations\Blues On The Bayou\01 Blues Boys Tune.mp3
D:\My Music\ Compilations \02 Bad Case Of Love.mp3
D:\My Music\ Compilations \03 I'll Survive.mp3
In iTunes my settings are Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced: iTunes Music folder: D:\My Music and checkmark in both: “Keep iTunes Music folder organized” and “Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library”.
My version of iTunes is 8.0.1.11

It will depend on the album. Gracenote considers anthologies, a collection of tracks by the same artist taken from different albums, as a compilation. In iTunes the compliation setting should really only be applied to a collection of tracks by different artists.

Artist info, track number, album title won't show up in iTunes

When I view the songs in explorer, I am able to see the info, but not in iTunes. When I am in iTunes and click on "get info" the ID3 tags are showing as v2.3 and only the track title is showing. When I "add folder to library" and the little progress window appears, it never shows "converting ID3..."
The same files opened in WMP all have complete info including track title, track number, album title.
The same folder is doing this on 2 different computers. We are talking about a huge amount of songs to have to update manually (total of 2.6G from this artist).
How can I get iTunes to show this info?
Troubleshooting info...I deleted a different album from iTunes, then re-added it to my library with no problems, so I am reluctant to blame the program. I'm thinking it is the files/folder. I kind of eliminated that with the attempt on the other computer.

Bump.

Two phones ordered, only one shipped. The iPhone 6 has shipped with tracking number and charge to my card. iPhone 6 Plus has no information available, no one at CS can tell me if this is normal, if it is delayed, any info appreciated.

I placed an upgrade order for two phones, an iPhone 6 and 6plus.
I was in the Verizon shopping cart at 11:55 and checked out by 12:01 AM pacific time.
I do have my email confirmation for both phones with ship date 9/19
The iPhone 6 has shipped with tracking number and the charge to my card came through for the price of this phone.
There is no other information available - nothing on the status of the 6 Plus. Customer service doesn't know if this is normal or if my order went through, its really bad.
Any further information would be much appreciated.

I was just told by a Verizon sales rep that, when her team got in, when she checked the system at 3:03 (midnight+ 3 minutes) all 6Plus had a back order date of October, and now its going into November even though the pre-order system was showing 9/19 - that all verizon iphone 6 plus had an instant sell out.
She had no additional information on my iPhone 6 plus, not even if there was a chance for it to ship out, when the back order date would be - no further information.
(A different rep I talked to said all iphone 6 plus pre orders had a ship date of October, all of them - I asked what Verizon is going to do when they advertised iphone 6 plus for 9/19 delivery and your telling me they never had any available - at this point he transferred me... *****)
