Local SRM PO intead of Extended Classic

Hello,
Does anyone have any idea how best to resolve the following problem.
We are using SRM 5.0. We have managed to create a Local SRM PO instead of the Extended Classic scenario and so the PO will not transfer to R/3 (where the invoices are entered). The confirmation has also been created in SRM.
Please could someone advise on the best way to sort this out (we have fixed what caused the problem so it will not happen again).
Thank you.
Regards,
Jackie

Hi Jackie
Best option is to delete the PO and confirmation and create a new one in SRM as per extended classic scenario.
Sending a local PO to ECC may not be possible in this case.

  • Auto printing PO from SRM thru ECC in Extended Classic 5.0

We are trying to print our PO's and sent then thru Smartforms ZNEU from SRM thru the back end(ECC). This was working OK until we installed new patches on the ECC side.
The ZNEU would print the Po and sent the EDI transfer from the back end with out manual intervention. Can some one tell me how we can set this backup to sent the PO print over to the back end to print.
    Thanks,
    Sam

    Hi Sam,
Generally PO Messages will be created in SRM only in ECS.
Did you do any development for this specail request to create a message in ECC ? check it up.

  • Extended classic scenario in SRM 7.1

    Hi colleagues,
we want top use SRM 7.1 with extended classic scenario and we want to create POs in SRM and reflect them in ERP backend. The question is it possible somehow to change those POs aftewards (e.q. add confirmations, transportation costs, etc...) in ERP? Or is there any way to trasnfer POs in hold status from SRM to ERP and then change them in ERP?
    Thanks and regards, Anton

    Hi Anton,
PO is created a in SRM as local and a copy( copy does not contain the entire PO info, only the useful for the backend) is being sent to R3.
DO NOT try to search a workaround for modification in the backend..sooner or later you will be incurring in incosisnten data and misalignmentes.
SRM is the PO golden source.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Extended Classic: Only local Purchase Order Creating

We are using SRM 7.0 SP5 extended classic scenario.  The local purchase order is creating but the ERP PO is not creating.  There are no errors in RZ20, ST22 or SLG1.
I can't even tell if it is trying to  create a backend document.  I set a break in the CREATE_DOCUMENT method where the BAP_PO_CREATE1 FM is called but the break never gets hit.

    Azad,
Thanks for your answer.  I did not realize that in exteneded classic the local PO is created first and that the backend po only gets created once PO has been sent out.
For anyone else having this problem this is what I found:
When I edit the local PO and order the PO after fixing an output problem, (PO is setup for no approval) , I was then able to see the backend errors appear on the PO infoming me of what when wrong when the sytem attempted to create the ERP PO.
Also, you can debug from program B46B_DPO_TRANSFER...set a break on line 393, just before the BBP_PO_INBOUND function module is called.  Also that function module in the ERP system calls the BBP_PO_CREATE1 BAPI.
All this information has helped me answer my question....thanks for everyones help!

  • PO text transfer to Back-end in case of Extended Classic Scenario in SRM 4.

    Dear experts,
My system is in SRM 4.0 in Extended Classic Scenario. We use in the PO internal note text and vendor But thses texts are not transfered to Back-end.
    Is it normal?
Do I need to customize something?
Can it be achieved by BADi? How then?
OR is it only possible from SRM 5.0?
    Thanks in advance
    RD

Yes you can do this. Implement BADI BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW, Refer parameter IS_SC_DOCUMENT>LONGTEXT,  and CS_PO_DOCUMENT>IT_PO_ITEM_TEXT. Map the exact text-id of the R/3.
Note: if this BADI is not present, use BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK

  • Use of Purchase info records in SRM SC in Extended Classic scenario

    Hi All,
We have implemented SRM 7.13 with Extended classic scenario. If we have Purchase info record in SAP ECC for the material, it gets populated in SRM SC in Source of supply Tab but the price of Purchase info record does not get updated in the SC line item.
Can anyone let me know which configurations is required to fetch the Purchase info record price or we need to have a customization to achieve this.
    Thanks,
    Ankur

    HI Ankur
when you say the price did not get updated did you check the sequence which is used for price determination ?
    1. User entry
    2. Contracts
    3.  Info record
If still you think it is an issue please check the report  EBP_GET_BACKEND_PRICES and let me know if your problem gets fixed?

  • SRM-SUS - Extended Classic - Purchase Order Response

    Hi folks,
We are using SRM-SUS in an Extended Classic scenario in SRM 5.0.  When the Vendor creates a Purchase Order Response (POR) we want the Requisitioner of the Shopping Cart (not the Purchaser from the Purchase Order) to process the POR in EBP.
We will add the transaction Process Purchase Reponse to the Requisitioner role.  We want to ensure that the Requisitioner can only see PORs related to Purchase Orders created from the Requisitioner's individual Shopping Carts.
Has anybody any suggestions and/or see obstacles in our way?
    Cheers,
    Pat

    Hi Pat,
This is certainly not standard. I see the following challenges:
    a. From the system perspective, your Shoppers will need to be assigned to purchasing group(s) in Org Structure to see the related PORs. That's very unusual, and consequences can be unpredictable.
    b. From the internal controls / business process / security perspective, you may be creating some SOD (segregation of duties) issues.
IMHO, your business requirement needs to be re-visited. My two cents...
    Cheers,
    Serguei

  • Archive Purchase Order in SRM 5.0@ extended classic senario

    Dear SRM Guru,
I use SRM 5.0 in extended classic senario, how can i archive purchase order with limit order using standard SAP?
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Kim

    Hi Kim,
your question is a quite open one. So I try to answer with different flavours - hope there a right one for you.
In case you'd like to archive over system boundaries, i.e. since to ECC PO is a copy of a leading PO in SRM, you might expect that you somehow can archive both at once. This is not happening - i.e. you have to archive both separately.
When you look up notes 726509 SRM archiving: Archiving of R/3 documents with SRM, 723685 SRM: History after the archiving of R/3 documents you might figure out more.
There was an issue in archiving that the workitems were not archived with reference to the SRM document - but this is resolved via note as well. Search for related notes with 'Archiving' + 'SRM' in the service portal.
When you want to figure out more regarding the archiving dependencies you can look up the archiving trx. SARA resp. the archiving programs in SE38:   BBP_DP_ARCH_* (CHECK, DELETE, WRITE, SET_STATUS).

  • SRM PO Pricing condition from SRM to ECC -Extended Classic Sceanrio

    Dear SRM experts,
We have created couple of conditions in SRM7.0 and ECC 6.0 as per requirement. When we create PO in SRM and If we add any condition in SRM PO, PO is getting transferred with netprice(including condition amount).
We would like to see conditions also in ECC which are there in SRM.
    For ex:
I have created SRM PO with net price 30 and having freight amount(15) in that PO with Fregiht condition type but when it comes to ECC PO net price is changing from 30 to 45.
We would like to see net price as 30 and 15 as Fregiht condition.
Overall I can say that Is it possible to pass conditions from SRM to ECC in Extended classic scenario.
    Thanks
    Ravi

    Hi,
the challenge lies in synchnizing the conditions and ensuring that price returned by IPC in SRM matches the price in the backend.

  • PO output for Extended classic Scenario from the R/3 backend

    Hi,
    1) Does the PO output (ignoring the config maintained in SRM server 5.5 for the output) through R/3 backend is standard or it is mandatory to give local outputs from SRM only incase of Extended classic scenario?

  • Payment term key with limit days in Extended Classic Scenario

    Hello,
We have an SRM 4.0 implementation (SRM Server 5.0 with Support Package
    9) using the Extended Classic Scenario.
When a shopping cart is created, it must be approved, and then a
purchase order is generated (first locally at SRM, and then is
    replicated to the backend).
The problem is that the payment term key (field at header level EKKO-
ZTERM) of the backend purchase order is empty, only in cases when we use a payment term key which have several different values for the
field "limit days" (T052-ZTAGG in backend, BBP_PAYTERM-ZTAGG in SRM).
    Example:
         ZTERM     ZTAGG
          K180           09
          K180           19
          K180           31
If the payment term key selected has no several values for the field "limit
days" (one single entry), the payment term key arrives correctly at the backend purchase order.
    Example:
         ZTERM     ZTAGG
          E000           00
In SRM table BBP_PAYTERM we have upload the backend payment terms
(using report BBP_UPLOAD_PAYMENT_TERMS). In other threads it is said that you must copy the entries generated by the report with the logical system of the SRM system, but in extended classic scenario it seems to be not necessary.
We have already implemented note 846009, in order to use always the backend payment term, but the error didn’t get resolved.
We have our vendor business partners mapped to the local and backend
purchasing organizations, but it is only necessary indicate the Payment term key for the Backend Purchasing Organization.

    hi,

can you recreate the same issue you can fix it.
it could only one incident so you should thoroghly check what piece of data is wrong.

  • Cost distribution in Extended classic scenario

    Hi All,
We are in SRM 4.0 using extended classic scenario.
When we create a purchase order with cost distribution, it gets copied to backend system. But the partial invoice field in backend PO is always having the value "Distribution in sequence".
In configuration for account assignment category, it has been defaulted to "Distribute proportionately".
When we checked with SAP they told that for SRM POs it will always be distribute in sequence. It has to be distributed while posting MIRO. This value is hardcoded in SRM PO transfer program. It is very strange and moreover this is a essential functionality which needs to be in SRM.
Any one using extended classic scenario, could you please tell me how you are handling multiple account assignments?
    Please help me.
    Thanks,
    Arun

    Friends,
If you are using cost distributions in extended classic scenario, then could you please check and let me know the value that you are getting in the "Partial Invoice" field in Account assignment tab of backend PO.
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Arun

  • Extended Classic Scenario - PO Update issue

    Hello experts.
We are working with SRM 5 in the extended classic scenario and we have a serious problem in a productive environment for the following case.
    (01) We create a purchase requisition (PR) in R/3 with several items;
    (02) We send PR to the SRM generating a shopping cart;
    (03) The buyer creates a PO for all items from the shopping cart;
    (04) The PO is transmitted to R/3;
    (05) For some cases buyer changes the PO wich is sent back (updated) to R/3;
So far so good. The problem happens when some item in the request already has GR or Invoice. In those cases when the PO is updated on SRM, its transmission to R/3 does not occur, generating an error log that can be seen in transaction RZ20 of SRM.
I understand that if any GR or Invoice exists for the item it can no longer be modified, but is it expected that no other item can also be modified from SRM? What is the expected behavior for this case?
Moreover, even if the GR and Invoice have been canceled, we are still unable to update the PO in R/3 from SRM. Is this a expected behavior? It was our understanding that the PO should be updated if all incoming documents (GR, Invoice, SES ..) were completely canceled.
We appreciate any help on this matter.
    Thanks and Regards,
