Logo Is Pixelated HELP!

I imported a logo into Motion it's an Illustrator EPS and I made it down to 22% in Motion, it seems to have broken up and become all pixelated, any ideas? Should I import this in at 100% and not change the size from within Motion? If anyone has any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I'm desperate

Wow! How have you done that? I would like to do that, too
As far as I know Motion does not support EPS files...
and I made it down to 22% in Motion, it seems to have

First of all, go to the media tab and find your imported file.
Make sure "Fixed resoultion" is turned off. This should provide
crisp rescaling of vector based media.
And also - you want to scale down. I found a trick that provides
best quality when scaling down.

  • Red logo is pixelated and the color is different

Ive been trying to render a video for a while and cant seem to solve my problem. Im working with a very special filesize: 300x250. On my timeline,I have my video (which I edited in Premiere and then Imported in AfterEffects) and a top layer which is a red logo (png file made in Photoshop). On my timeline it looks fine even when it plays, but when I rendered it, the color red is off (in the original its more red-orange and comes out blood red) and the logo is pixelated. My finished video needs to be in a flv format. I think Ive tried anything that I know and still cant find a solution. There must be someone somewhere with a solution.
Im working on a pc with AfterEffects CC.
    Thank you

The brand Im working for needs to remain confidential, but heres the reds inside my logo. Its like a gradient red.

  • I have an original iphone I'm trying to use as an ipod.  Today when after I updated it, it is stuck with a picture of a plug, an arrow, and itunes logo. Please help.

I'm trying to use as an ipod.  Today when after I updated it, it is stuck with a picture of a plug, an arrow, and itunes logo. Please help. I've tried resetting.  Thanks

Did you try to restore it with itunes it should work then.Or try and reset it by going to settings/general/reset. If it doesn't work than go to apple some time and tell them about the error if they don't fix it than I am confused and have no clue what to do.

  • I restarted my iPad but it is just stuck on the apple logo. Please help

I restarted my iPad, but it is stuck on the apple logo. Please help.

If a reset doesn't work, you will have to try and force the iPad into Recovery Mode (data will be lost)
    1. Turn off iPad
    2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
    3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
    5. Release the Home button
    6. Open iTune
    7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
    8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad

    Hi,
My Iphone got wet and now when I turn it on it will not go past the apple logo.  Please help.

Take it in for service or most likely out of warranty replacement. Water damage voids your warranty so you will need to pay towards the replacement.
    Cheers

  • Exported logo pixelated - help!

    Hello,
I am new to illustrator, I am trying to make an indesign logo display better on the web. I have worked out how to convert an indesign file into a illustrator, I made the file the correct pixels and then exported it for 72 resoution but it is pixelated? I thought indesign was vector based? I would be so grateful if someone could let me know what I am doing wrong?
    Thanks,
    Kristina

Regarding DPI, that is a term which is only relevant for print. If you create an image in Adobe Photoshop 9" X 6" in size at 72 pixels per inch (or "DPI") it will print out on paper at that size and resolution. On a normal letter sized sheet of paper that 9" X 6" X 72ppi image might look a little coarse. At 72 pixels per inch it's only 648 pixels across by 432 pixels tall. If the same graphic is created at 150 pixels per inch it's going to look quite a bit sharper when printed on paper. It's still the same 9" X 6" printed size, but at 150ppi it has 1350 X 900 pixels. That's how "DPI" and resolution works in print.
DPI really doesn't mean anything for graphics that will be shown on computer screens, mobile phone screens, tablets, HDTV sets or even LED-based "jumbotron" signs. They all have fixed pixel grids and a raster-based graphic is going to map to them pixel for pixel regardless of any DPI setting that was applied to it. If you have a 1920 X 1080 resolution computer screen, a raster based graphic 648 X 432 pixels in size is going to occupy that amount of pixels on a HD resolution monitor regardless of whether it was saved at 72 DPI, 150 DPI or even 2000 DPI. The DPI setting makes no difference.
I work with customers helping them create artwork to either show on a LED-based electronic variable message center sign they just purchased or working with them on creating digital billboard ads. The DPI concept comes up frequently. It's difficult to get them to understand the importance of the pixel dimensions of their graphics and assets and the pixel dimensions of the LED sign or monitor where the ad will be displayed.
Regarding SVG, all of the new web browsers support SVG natively. Even the past couple versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer have built in support for SVG. Old Windows XP based PCs running Internet Explorer 8 (which lacked SVG support) are disappearing fast. In the mobile space most new phone models support SVG with their "stock" web browsers. I frequently visit https://html5test.com/ for feature comparisons with a variety of web browsers on different devices. SVG support is far better than it used to be. IMHO, SVG support is widespread enough now to use it without all sorts of browser fall-back hacks. User interfaces on web sites created in SVG will be able to scale up or down across the extreme size and pixel count differences of many displays, be it a small mobile phone display or a 5K resolution 27" iMac screen.

  • Added logos look pixelated and how to add a watermark?

    Hey guys,
I'm having a bit of trouble. i'm trying to add a watermark with one half of the logo covering the footage and the other half the black bar. Because I need to crop the video the logo (ofcourse) gets cut in half. When I try importing the entire file as a .MOV file and then add the logo I have alot of loss in quality. Trying it in After Effects didn't help either.
Also, adding the logos and text in Premiere as a .PNG file looks pixelated even though the file is of a very high resolution. How can I fix this/

    Jim,
    Picture this...
You have 16:9 footage with really good stuff at the extreme right and the extreme left. SO you want to keep it that way. You also have 4:3 that you don't want to scale up. SO you use a 4:3 project. Now you have two choices. You can crop all of the 4:3 footage, or, when you get all done editing with both 16:9 and 4:3 you export the entire mixed clip as a 4:3 clip. Import that into Premiere Pro and crop the entire clip to look letterboxed. Now add a logo that happens to sit near the bottom right and some of it is over video, and some is over black letterbox.
Only none of this is relevant other than to explain that he has a problem with his logo in that it looks pixelated.
Solve the pixelation and the other explanation is not relevant.

  • Logo looks pixelated

pixelated logo. I have done something wrong and need help. this is how it looks

    deegee,
It looks like something saved/exported at a small size to a raster format.
What happens if you Save for Web at a larger size in pixels x pixels (set it in the Image Size window where the Text/Art Optimized option is) or Export at a higher resolution?

  • Freezing iMac G5 with random red and black pixels, HELP!

Hello all, and thanks in advance for helping. Here's my dilemma: I have a 20" iMac G5 that I have been using for 2-3 years or so. I recently started doing less work on it, as I replaced it with a new 24" iMac, so now it is used for one or two programs as well as occasional internet use. The system began to become slower, then finally started freezing between minimal tasks, even something as simple as pressing TAB in Safari, to trying to make a new folder in iPhoto. We restarted a bunch of times, and even tried clearing the PRAM. Now, it freezes during the start-up and there's little red and black boxes (small, maybe 4x4 or 6x6 worth of pixels) appearing randomly on the screen. When we are able to get the system to start, after one or two small tasks (opening the Address Book, or starting Safari) the program freezes, the pinwheel starts spinning, and I lose any chance to do anything more on the computer without powering down. Any advice or suggestions is appreciated! Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.

    Hi PPRI and Miriam,
Same deal going on here. It's been a while since I last posted - meaning no problems (which is goooood). So here is the issue:
Would stop at blue screen before loading to main screen. Minor repair on HD volume, and now freezes on main screen very quickly, after booting past blue screen. A few wierd pixels are seen, which lets me know that it has frozen.
    Here's what I did:
Hardware check with utility - no problems found, including logic board. From the manual, it seems like it is a software issue.
As before, I repaired a few permissions and minor repair on HD volume. Still not working.
Also opened up my vents and carefully vacuumed the dust - fans were spinning hard. Still, not working.
My next step is to do an archive & install. I'm not sure how to backup my files, so this will have to suffice. This leads me to my questions:
Q1 - How do you burn a backup, without an external HD and without being able to get past my main screen?
Q2 - I noticed a post before this one, concerning the same issue, with Miriam posting on it. Is it overkill to post the same problem/question in another thread in order to maximize the chances for a good response? Any suggestions Miriam?
Thank you for being so helpful. Apple community rocks!
(PS - will let you know how the archive/install goes. If it doesn't work, I may pay to back my files on disc, and then I'll try reformatting HD altogether. Again, will let you know how it goes).
(PS2 - Not sure if this matters, but my imac was one the ones that needed the free extended warranty for the capacitor issues - identified by the serial numbers. Doubt that's the problem since it was working fine after repairs).

  • Boot camp restart gets stuck on apple logo/prohibited logo/? folder help

    Hello,
I'm currently running OS X (lion) and I'm trying to install windows 7 via boot camp assistant. After creating a Win7 install disk via a bootable USB flash drive and creating my partition via the assistant. The computer restarts and goes into the load screen instead of the windows install process. It then flips between the Apple logo, Prohibited logo, and ? file not found folder. Could some one help me out and let me know whats going on. Thanks in advance!  (I would try to install it via CD/DVD but the drive doesn't work.)

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
First of all, you can't install Windows from an USB drive on a Mac with the SuperDrive. To start on OS X, press Option key while the Mac is starting and select Macintosh HD. Finally, open Boot Camp Assistant to delete the Boot Camp volume and take the Mac to an Apple Store to get the SuperDrive repaired

  • Illustrator CS4 Text & Shape logo is pixelated when placing as smart object in PS

I made a Logo in Illustrator CS4 containing text & shape. The lines are crisp and clear at 100% & 200%+. I save my file as an ai and also another version as outlined. But when I copy & paste it into Photoshop CS4 as a smart object it becomes pixelated when I zoom in more than 100%. Is there a way to fix this?
When I use to do this in CS3 it worked fine, but now it doesn't work. The Photoshop file, placed as a smart object is the one on the left at 200%. You can already tell the pixels are distorted. The one on the right side is Illustrator file at 800% and is still crisp & clean. I've saved as eps, tiff, jpeg from illustrator and when opening it in photoshop and zooming in it's pixelated....and yes AA is turned on in Illustrator and nothing happens when I view as overprint either.
First, I'd like the logo in jpeg crisp and clear when zoomed in.
Second, I'd like to resolve the smart object issue in PS. I know a smart object will hold it's quality no matter the resize of the image in PS, but I can't get it to work... Can someone offer any suggestions

What is the ppi of the Photoshop file?
And for what it's worth, any raster image will never be as crisp and clear as a vector image, smart object or otherwise. Photoshop shows raster previews even if the actual object is vector. If you zoom in on any raster iamge, you'll see pixelation.

  • Illustrator CS2 Newbie-logo is pixelated

    Hello,
I am so happy to find this discussion forum to hopefully resolve my question!
I created a 6in x2in logo in Illustrator and when I save it to my desktop and try to insert it into a word doc the image comes up super pixelated and looks awful.  I tried saving it with a transparent background and an opaque background with the same result.  I am attaching my logo for you to see...
Thanks in advance for your time and assistance!

    shunith,
    >I definitely did... if you see the time of my reply to Metalgirl
When a post is replied to, the editing option disappears; that seems as inevitable as death.
Jamie has answered you once, and no one else has (this is a non destructive answer to the OP), so either your post #5 (probably) or your post #11 is unanswered and therefore editable while the other is not.
This is one of the traps in these new forums: if you want to suggest a change to a post you will have to post an answer to another post (normally most conveniently the OP), or your suggestion is stillborn.
I believe you answered the OP; that is what I normally do, unless I wish to quote a message; in this case it might be destructive because Jamie, although unlikely, could have replied to #5 instead of #11; so I had to copy and paste as in the days of the fair forums.
