Material discounts has to be calculated from existing accruals not cleared

Dear all,
we need to implement next scenario:
We have customer agreements where all sales done during a determined period (for example one month) of a determined material will have a discount (for example 20 %) that will not be discounted directly in the document and will not be credited to the customer later as a credit memo (like a normal rebate) but it has to be accrued (or can be stadistically saved in a special account) in every sales done during that month and later, in the sales orders created the next month, this material will be given as a free good (100% discount based on gross value) until all amount accrued (or saved in a special acount) during previous month has been cleared.
Have you implemented such scenario in your company? Do you know an easy way to implement it without doing a big development?

Hi,
If u dont want to use Rebate agreements because u dont want to settle them by credit note then u can add one more condition type in ur pricing procedure and make it statstical and maintain the proper access sequence and condition record (like 20 % discount as u want).
At the end of the month u can draw a report according to customer that how much value is accumaulated in particular condition type and with refrence to that amount u can give the free goods to them.

    When we create a billing document then an accounting document gets created automatically in the background and then when we cancel the billing document then another accounting document gets generated and the entries in the previous accounting document are offset and the status of both the document becomes cleared. But in my case after the cancel billing document has been generated only the accounting document of the invoice is getting cleared but the accounting document of the cancel billing document is NOT CLEARED. Can anybody please help me find out a solution to the issue.
    Flow chart:
    Sales order = completed
    Delivery = completed
    Goods Issue = complete
    Invoice = completed
    Accounting Document = cleared
    Cancel Invoice (S1) = Completed
    Accounting Document = Not Cleared
    In customer line item still showing the cancel accounting document.
    When I go to VFX3 and try to release the cancel invoice i get the message-" no documents found for these selection criteria."
    Please help me  to find a solution.

  • YTD calculation from BEx is not working in Advance Analysis for OLAP/OR Office

    I have AA for OLAP based on BEx. There are YTD calculation in BEx Designer: User enters Period in variable, and in user exits, the Period Range is populated as "1 ~ UserEnteredValue" in second variable. In BEx, YTD is calculated based on the Restrictive KF for the period range, calculated in User Exit. This is working fine in BEx Analyzer, however in Advance Analysis (for OLAP OR in Ofice), the YTD value is not coming up they way it is in BEx Analyzer...
    Anybody has any clue, why??

    If something is working for BEx Analyzer but not for Analysis OLAP or Analysis Office then this typically (but not always) indicates an issue with the BICS (BI Consumer Services) component.
    I would suggest you contact support about this so the appropriate logs can be captured and the issue investigated by the BICS team.

  • PFCG issue - removing transaction codes from menu and not clearing up the authorization tab

    I’m using SAP ERP version ECC6 and EHP5 and also we have updated our system with the PSCD FI module.
    I’m having the following issue in PFCG transaction code - I have created a new single role by copied other or from scratch and added few  transaction codes into the menu.  After that, I went in the authorization tab using the "Change Authorization Data" and I felled all the missing information until the role was green out.  I generated the role then I totally went out.  I come back to the same role that I created earlier and I did removed all the transaction codes from the menu and I did find the following:
    - the Authorization tab light didn't change from green to red
    - I went into the Authorization tab by "Change Authorization Data" and a part of the objects were still in.
    Normally behave should be:
    - when we remove one transaction code from the menu the light from Authorization tab should change from green to red.  When you empty the menu then the light color should change also, but the authorization tab should be also empty.
    Could please give me some idea how to do it next?

    Hi Gabriela,
    Most of the times standard roles contains manually added authorization objects. When ever you are creating a new role by copying the existing standard role so by default, these objects will come in to new role.
    Now, coming to your role. After removing t code from role if nothing has changed in Authorization tab means.
    Here are the possible reasons.
    1.  The t code which you have removed might not have any checked and maintained authorization objects, that's why your Authorization tab still in unchanged.
    2. Rememeber, when ever you are adding or removing t code from menu always use expert mode for profile generation option along with "Read old status and merge with new data" Option.
    This will bring the all checked and maintained data for each t code.
    3. After removing the t codes from menu and if you generate the Authorization tab by using expert mode option still if you find authorization objects means, those are manually added authorization objects that's why those were not removed.
    I hope this will give some clue to your issue.

  • Errors from DB are not cleared

    Hi, I'm Using jdev11.1.1.2
    If for some reason a db error gets displayed, e.g "Constraint "PLIST_NOM_IDX" is violated during post operation "Insert" using SQL statement ..." even if i change the wrong data with a correct one, the error still shows up. The rollback button doesn't help either.
    I know I must create some business validation rules to cover the database ones, but is there a way this db errors do be cleared ?

    Would you please give the forum a bit more to go on...background...what technology stack you are using...under what circustances EXACTLY are you getting these errors.
    I think you will receive many more responses if you give this information. It may seem intuitively obvious to you what you have to do to make these errors happen, but to me, you could be doing ANYTHING AT ALL.

  • Rebate calculation from Basic Price PR00

    Hi,
    This query is related to rebate conditions. At present the rebate base is calculated from the subtotal, that is Basic price - discount(The subtotal 7 is assigend to the step 300).
    As per the requirement from the business, the rebate should be calculated from the 'Basic Price'. They don't want the discount value should be considered in the rebate calculation. I explained them regarding the burden which company has to bear, but the business still want to go with the changes.
    My plan is to create another step in the pricicng procedure right after the basic price and assign subtotal 7 to it and delete the exting reabte subtotal step, and assign the new step number to rebate conditions, so the reabte will be calculated based on this.
    My questions are:-
    1. Can I edit the existing pricing procedure to make these changes?
    2) Will there be any impact on the existing rebate agreements (open) and its settlements on a later date?
    3) Will there be any impact on the process of billing of open sales orders/deliveries (not billed) after the change in pricing procedure?
    Please guide me.

    As the note says, the best way is to copy the existing pricing procedure and create another and assign it in OVKK.
    Will there be any effect for partially billed delivery items? (at the time of creation of billing document for the unbilled items in the delivery)
                                                                        OR
    when we create a billing document from the delivery (in the case of sales order and delivery created with old pricing procedure and the billing document is getting created after the assignment of new pricing procedure)

  • Replication of Material Sales status (with user values) from ECC to CRM

    Hi all,
    I 'm trying to find out how to replicate the  sales statuses of the material master data in ECC (in view "sales", field DChain spec. status, MKVE-VMSTA)  to the Material SAles statuses in CRM.
    The sales statuses in ECC have been maintained (via menu SPRO/logistics general/master data/basic settings/settings for key fields/DAta relevant to sales and distribution)) : new specific values have been added to the standard ones.
    Then, this customizing has been replicated to CRM via the DNL_CUST_PROD3 repliction object ( table TVMS).
    I have also created a user status profile with values in CRM with the same values, and assigned with the configurator the status profile to the screen, so the values are selectable in the sales status in CRM (in header).
    But, now, how can i replicate the sales statuses of the ECC materials to either :
    -the product status (header) in CRM, or
    -the sales status (distribution chain specific) in the assignment block of the Distribution-chain specific data  ?
    Is a specific development needed?
    there are some existing notes (623026, 428989, 495764), but not clear about what is possible in terms of replication of statuses

    It seems that there is no mapping between ECC and CRM sales area.
    If u want to download customer from ECC for that u have to mention the customer sales area in to the filter and then u have to start  down load from ECC.

    I am trying to configure a test scenarion for my client.
    He has a scenario where the demnad for the FG will calculated from the previous consumption figures.
    To map this I have tried to use the forecast view of the material master where I have entered some dummy figures & executed the forecast for constant model.
    Please advice if I am following the right method.
    So whenever the month is over the user will run the forecast again so that the system will calculate the new requirment.
    this is for the fast moving material. for the slow moving fg product I have used the same concept But also I have used the automatic reorder point + safety . so the system calculate  the new requirment

    Easiest way to solve this is to check the mara table in R/3. try and find your material there. If its not there, then it either has been manually created or loaded from a different source system. Check all the source systems if anyone has loaded them. Then check your cubes and ODSs if you can find any transactional data for these materials. If yes, then there is a possiblity that maybe it was created  to correct  a failed load. You should then identify the document and compare the same on in R/3.
    If this material is used in any transaction data, then you can simply delete it. RSA1-> Find the infoobject(characteristic)-> Maintain master data-> Give the material nos-> select the row and press the delete button.

  • Material scale price in cost calculation

    Hi Experts,
    could any of You pls advice me with an 'inforecord scale price' - based calculation?
    My calculation - material cost - based on inforecord price, but it is not correct when I want to make a calculation for ex. pilot products. During cost calculation for different costing lot size, I have different material qty requirement. Scale price is exist in inforecord. In the calculation the system always check the scale price of the material - based on the costing lot size in the material master, and do not care about how much the actual raw material need in the calcuation.
    Ex. the scale price is 1-100 pcs X USD, 101-1000 pcs Y USD -mat.master lot size: 1000; I have a calculation for 600 pcs - which requires 60 pcs of the raw material. In this case I want the system to have the 1-100 pcs X USD - as actual need on calculation, but the system takes the 101-1000 PCS Y USD - as material lot size. So I really can not check how much the pilot will cost: 100 pcs, 400 pcs etc to produce, but I always have to maintain the component material masters with changing the calc. lot size in material master (first I have to check how much will be the consumption in the following calculation...)
    I want to have a calculation, when the real raw material consumption in the calculation is checked and the scale price is match with it.
    Do You have any good idea, how to handle?

    thank You for answering and investigating into this issue, You get a good point, but my setting is actually different form standard:
    In my calculation through costing variant and valuation variant - the inforecord has higher priority than the planned price - we only use planned price form mat. master if no relevant inforecord exist, but in my case there are inforecords with scale price.
    Issuing production order is not enought for me for checking all costs - some additonal cost components are exist - through overhead determination such as duty, freight,  etc. which has been defined using overhead group and overhead key, and assigned to material in material master (costing view).
    I know it is a bit more complex than a normal quantity structure calculation - but this is the one, I have to deal with. Available CO-consultant told me, this scale -price handling is MM-issue, that is why I ask MM  guys first.
    Anyone pls, have some idea about inforecord scale price in cost calculation based on component requirement in actual calculation. I would appreciate a lot.

    No such standard report available..you need to create a z-report for the requirement. Alternatively just check with yr CO team member whether he is pulling these value fields than you can get it prom CO-PA

    1 - no  --  iPhoto only manages fiel within the iPhoto library - it does not ever do anything with files outside the library
    2 - No idea what you are asking - by default (and strongly recommended) iPhoto copies the original to the iPhoto library and you delete the source file outside the iPhoto library - iPhoto alwasy has at least two versions of every photo and some times three - it always have the original, a thumbnail and once a photo is modified a preview - this is not optional - if it is not what you want then iPhoto is not the correct progrtam to be using for phopto management

    Has someone a hint?

    Hi Andre - I just tested this with a parent-child file against the Market dimension of Sample.Basic in 11.1.2.3.505, and it worked for me leaving it blank. Structure of the file was:  Parent     Child     UDA
    In the global Dimension Build Properties I selected Market then checked 'Allow Property Changes' and 'Allow UDA Changes'.
    In the UDA field's Dimension Build Properties I set the dimension to 'Market', field to type UDA, and I also checked 'Delete when the field is empty' (it's all the way at the bottom of the field properties list, below 'Ignore Field for Dimension Build').
    Since you don't mention it, I wonder if you missed that last step?
