Materials consumption per Planned order in Repetitve manufacturing

Hi all
I would like to know if there is a standard way of knowing the quantities that have been consumed for a particular  component in planned orders when working with Repetitive manufacturing.
Thanks a lot

Dear Area Operaciones,
It is not possible to fetch the planned order number either in MF12 or else in MCRP report.
It is the standard SAP behaviour and you can only get the component's consumption details along with quantity alone in
MCRP/MCRO report and not with respect to planned order no.

planned order only. so i want know what is order type  for repetitive manufacturing
In configuration order type for  reptitive is required or not   if  yes  then how will define order type ,where
In Discrete order type will define to control  prodution order
like that i want know details about order type in repetive manufature

    HI
Planned order in REM is of PE type thar s non convertible in PO and also these planned orders are assigned to PVs thru Planning table and the Confirmation is done agianst these planned orders.

  • Pick List - Planned Orders in Repetitive Manufacturing

    Hi All,
Business Process: Cut Planned orders ( No production line, No Routing, No Work Centers). Production done and then these Planned Orders are backflushed.
Any of you have any idea on how to generate pick list to stage material for these planned orders?
I know that Production orders can easily be configured to print automatic pick lists but not planned orders. I have been working my heart out to find a solution but couldnot.
    Thanks in advance!
    Siva

    Hi Siva,
I think action control should work good for your scenario,
In customizing SPRO->Production->MRP->Planning->Procurement Proposals->Planned orders->Action for Planned orders--->Define action control.
    <b>Define Action Control</b>
In this workstep, you define the actions that are allowed for the action control function and the sequence in which the system is to carry out the actions. An action can be followed by several other actions and it can also be preceded by several actions.
    <b>Activities</b>
Define the action control. To do this, define a key and the actions that are allowed and which subsequent actions can follow certain actions.
    <b>Example</b>
The key 01 is defined. The following actions are to be allowed for this key
    BOME (explode BOM)
NEMA (check material availability without BOM explosion)
    PRNT (print component list)
The BOM must always be exploded first. The material availability can only be carried out once the BOM has been exploded. Once the availability check has been carried out, the system should print the component list. The table is then mainatained as follows:
    <b>Control Action Target action</b>
    01  BOME
    01 BOME NEMA
    01 NEMA PRNT
The action control what is defined needs to be assigned in Material Master MRP4 View under REM section.
    Hope this helps...Reward your points,

  • Repetitive manufacturing - Planned order

    Hello,
I have got a list of 'firmed' planned orders of repetitve manufacturing. How to unfirm those planned orders in mass?
    Regards.

    Dear Mangal,
I re-checked in the system & MD19 does not have option to go by planned orders. Further the options which exist are for single entry.
However I wont say that the BAPI is the only solution, as the need in the initial query just states there are many firmed planned orders. It does not provide further details, so if its just for a single material or MRP cont. etc then MD19 should suffice.
But if the planned orders are for different materials, then user has to do multiple MD19's or if the effort justifies the business need, then develop a Z program.

    Vivek

  • MRP - Create Planned Orders only for Externally Procured Materials

    Dear All,
We have a scenario that our client gives us the daily requirement schedule for the current month and a monthly forecast for future months so that we can plan our externally procured materials based on the forecast.
Now I only want the MRP run to create Planned Orders for HALB and FERT based on my current months daily schedule and planned orders for ROH (Externally Procured) based on the next months forecast (monthly).
I dont want the system to create planned orders for HALB and FERT from the forecast. The requirement for the ROH are however derived from the Finished Good BOM and the forecast is also given for the FERT material. I know its a long shot but is there a possibility in the system to do such a thing or a work around?

Your business case is not clear; MRP will create planned orders for inhouse produced materials, and either planned orders or purchase requisitions for external procurement.
You can choose to convert or release external procurement for a long time ahead (eventhough taht if you have proper lead times defined you can release by lead time), but convert inhouse planned orders to production orders only for next period (week, month). Actually this is common practice.
So I fail to understand your problem.

  • After MRP planned orders are not getting generated?

    HI,
Our bussiness is make to stock and repetetive manufacturing.
We have a prob in running MRP, i enter the demand in MD61 on day basis and after running MRP for some materials all planned orders getting generated wrt to demand but for some materials only some planned orders getting generated means it's not taking full demand ex i have material A and paln is 1000 for 10days i entered demand in MD61 for 10days 100 each and if B material is having same 1000 demand so i enter 100 each then i run MRP and the out put is im getting 10planned orders with 100 each qty for A material where as for material B im not getting  full 10 orders only 2 or 3 with 100 each what could be the reason ?
    Thanks

As your saying it is Make to Stock, system will consider Availble stock in Net Req. Calculation
what is startegy mainatined for A & B
if you go with Strategy 11 then system will not consider the stock & Creates the requirements

  • Planned order scheduling mass update

    Hello all,
Is there a way I can change the scheduling dates for the planned orders collectively. (not MD16) ?
    Thankyou

    Hi,
    check the following
Mass Changes of Planned Orders (Action Control)
    Use
You can use this function to execute one or more actions for a large number of planned orders simultaneously. This is possible both within the SAP System and over an interface from an external assembly control system.
    Features
SAP supplies the function module MD_SET_ACTION_PLAF for action control.
This function module includes the following actions:
    Explode BOM
    Explode BOM, check availability
Check availability, only explode BOM in the case of a requirement
Check availability, do not explode BOM
    Reset availability
    Change planned order data
    Schedule planned order
    Delete planned order
Confirm planned order (in repetitive manufacturing)
    Firm planned order data
    Firm planned order components
    Print component overview
In connection with an action, you can always change planned order data, for example; order quantity, dates or production version.
The function module also enables you to program further customer-specific actions.
You can execute the actions for several planned orders simultaneously.
You can create action chains, that means, have the system execute several actions in a single operation.
    Activities
Define your own actions and program a report that includes these actions. As an example of this, the transaction MDAC Execute action for planned order (MRP ® Planned order ® Execute action) is available.
In this example action, you can use actions only for individual planned orders. Nor can you form action chains, only simple action transitions are possible.
Determine an action key and action controls in Customizing for MRP in the IMG activities Define action key and Define action control. An action key describes the actions that can be executed for a planned order. Action controls determine which actions are allowed and in which sequence they are to be executed.
Assign the key for the respective action control to the materials in the material master (MRP 4 view).

    nandha

  • Manual creation of planned order in REM

    Hi,
Can we manually create a planned order in repetitive manufacturing? I know that in case we run MRP , then planned order for finished is created with order type 'PE' due to which it cannot be converted to production order.
I dont want to run MRP , still can i create a planned order manually with the same order type 'PE' ? I tried in MD11, but not getting option to chose PE as it is not available  in F4 of planned order profile.
    Please help..
    Regards.

    Dear,
You cannot create a planned order with PE order type manually, because a planned order of REM related material gets order type "PE" only when it is assigned with a Production Version.
So achieve manual creation of REM Planned order with PE type with the following options,
I - Using MD11 transaction create a planned order with LA type and assign a suitable REM related Production version to the planned order during creation itself, now this order would automatically become "PE" order type on saving the order.
    2. In the planning table using MF50, you can directly create a planned order for a production line using F7 key.

  • Planned orders created at APO side are not coming to the ECC

    Hi All,
I am not getting the planned orders generated in the APO in to the ECC side after running the Product Heuristic. Many times I refreshed the stock requirements at ECC side and also APO side but still the planned orders generate has not come to the ECC. I am just new to APO. It would be great help if somebody can help me can guide/advice me on this.
    Thanks & Regards
    psamp1

As well as Sajeev's reply, you also need to ensure that the Products and Plants you are planning are in an active integration model and that the transactional data you are expecting is also in an active integration model
You can check this by using the transaction CFM5 in ECC, enter your products and plants in the general selection options then tick the checkboxes for Materials, Plants and Planned Orders. On execution the system will tell you if they are in an active model or not.

    Hi,
I am facing problem to see a load as per planned order wise in CM 02 & CM 07. But I can see the load in md12 after rescheduling .I have done the following settings
    1. While running MRP I have selected Lead time scheduling & capacity planning.
2.In Control key capacity tick is there
    3. In work center relevant to finite scheduling
4 For scheduling & .Cpacity formula in IMG relevant for capacity tick is there.

    Hi,
For capacity =MACHINE * Operation quantity / Base quantity
For Scheduling =MACHINE * Operation quantity / Base quantity
    I am using those formulae.

  • Fixed lot size key has no effect on planned orders generated for VC PIRu2019s

    Hello gurus,
does anyone have an idea why the fixed lot size key is not having an effect on the planned orders that are generated for the Planned Independent Requirements (PIR) for MTO configurable materials. My client is using planning strategy 56.
I have copied & customized the Fixed lot size key FX to suit the MTO production (u201CLot size as in short-term periodu201D activated) that works nicely even with configurable materials when a planned order is generated for a sales order. But the planned orders in the preplanning segment, i.e. that were generated for PIR's, are still created equally to the PIR quantity.
Is this behavior an error or an SAP feature? Though, I have reviewed the OSS Note 437098 that might be related to this. Can anyone tell me if it is related to this issue?
    Regards,
    Mikko

    Got the answer fro SAP:
Please consider the following note, which provides the explanation about this behavior of the lot-size, when VSE requirements are used:
    125498 - MRP/Docu: Planning segment and lot-for-lot order quantity
The following section of the note describes your scenario in detail:
"The planned independent requirements for a material are in a separate
planning segment (planning strategy planning without final assembly,
    requirements type VSE, VSEV).
You enter a rounding value or a rounding profile or an lot size that is
not exact in the material master.
    Material Requirements Planning:
In Material Requirements Planning, planned orders are generated for the
planned independent requirements. The lot size settings (such as fixed
lot size or minimum lot size) are also not taken into account."

  • Conversion of Planned order to PR and Dependent Requirements

    Hello Everyone,
I had two issues to be dealt with..
    1. When i run my MRP run for a specific plant i do not want the system to automatically convert planned orders to Purchase requisitions for specific material in specific plant. How do i Configure the same?
    2. I use planning strategy 40 for the header material. During MRP run dependent requirements are automatically  raised for lower level components. But how does the user know which planned order is generated for which higher level order?
Moreover, since the same raw material is used in multiple  finished  materials, a single planned order is raised for the same raw material. This makes it all the more complex.
I think Individual/ Collective requirement does not help in this case because i am using stategy group 40 which is a MTS strategy.
Any help in both these cases would be greatly appreciated..
    Sincerely,
    Aji

    1) Select the indicator "3"- Planned Orders in the MRP Screen or in a Variant you use to schedule the MRP
    2) Under a make to stock scenario, requirements are summarized in a planned order (or many, according to the lot size key). But in general as the stock is generic and not customer-specific, there is no assignment of planned order to a given customer.
