Mc.9 Multiple storage location issues

Hi,
I am fetching data from mc.9 in my program but if the use enter multiple storage  in selection only 1st value is printed following is code and how will i come to know which material is for which storage location since mc.9 data is not getting stored anywhere

                    WITH SL_SPMON-HIGH = FPERIOD EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY AND RETURN.
while append to internal table  even if i specify both high and low value it prints low and high incorrectly how will this problem will solved
itab-lgort = sloc-low.
Help required for same.

Hi Shruti,
I simulated the code given by you and all the storage locations are being populated in the backed.
You can check this by putting a breakpoint at the below code in RMCB0300 and checking the value of sl_lgort[]. You will receive the number of SLOC inputs provided.
AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT.
  FLG_FOUND = FALSE.
  PERFORM SPEZIAL_AT_SELECTION_SCREEN_O IN PROGRAM (LIS_PROGNAME)
                                        CHANGING FLG_FOUND
                                        IF FOUND.
This is a data issue and you may not have any records for the selected input.

    Hi Mahesh,
    I have tried that already but I faced the following problems:
    1) If there is a storage location assigned to the Material then when I run MF60 it only checks for the Material in the specified storage location even though I might have defined the stock determination strategy and defined the sequence for two storage locations in it.
    2) if I dont assign any storage location to the material (in the marerial master, BOM or routing) then when I run MF60 it doesn't come up with anything even though I have defined the stock determination strategy and defined the sequence for two storage locations in it. My production order doesn't show an issue storage location for the components but in this case if I do a order confirmation, then it uses the stock determination strategy to issue the component using the sequence defined
    I hope I have explained these problems clearly but please let me know if you need any further information. I really appreciate your help.

  • Inspected stock posting to multiple storage location without batch

    At the time of Usage Decision, I want to post the inspected stock to multiple storage location i.e., Rejected Stock to Scrap Storage Location, Qualified Stock to Unrestricted Use Storage Location.

    The scrap line has no storage location since that stock is typically written off and scrap cost center is defined in configuration.
    A possible alternative is to set up VMENGE08 and VMENGE09 with the same material movements you want to use.  You obviously aren't using the 553 movement type as that writes off the material.  That could give you two lines to use for your scraping.  I can't remember if these stock posting lines give you the storage location option or not and I don't have a sandbox available to test today.  If you need to post more then two grades in one inspection lot, you'll have to do the first two postings, save the UD, then come back in and do a second posting for the next two grades.
    Read the configuration help file you'll find in confg for "Define Inventory Postings" under the QM config.
    You can also change the displayed names of the stock posting lines.  That's explained in the config file as well.

  • HU in multiple storage location

    Can HU resided in multiple storage location?? I'd like to know if it's possible to transfer partial qty of an HU into multiple storage location with the same plant/whse. Here is the scenario:
    HU1234 has 100pcs in plant ABC 0001 whse 011 bin aa-001-c
    Is the below possible or would I need to have unique HU ids for the other three HUs.
    HU1234 25pc in plant plant ABC 0001 whse 011 bin aa-001-c
    HU1234 25pc in plant plant ABC 0002 whse 011 bin aa-001-c
    HU1234 25pc in plant plant ABC 0003 whse 011 bin aa-001-c
    HU1234 25pc in plant plant ABC 0004 whse 011 bin aa-001-c

    I also think I need to separte HUs but I just making sure I'm not missing something.
    The business scenario is that we want to create a plant w/ mulitple storage location to move inventory in and out for specific key customers "Geo Hub" we are trying to avoid having to handle the HU and limit physical movement until we actually need to ship it out on an Outbound DN.
    I know in our current enviroment we can only transfer a full HU via HUMO and if we want to transfer a partial HU we move it to repack and split it.

  • Storage location issue in case of BOM

    Hi All,
    I have a issue related to storage location determination. There are three materials X,Y and Z. Material X is main item and Y, Z are components of X. While creating sales order when we enter X it explodes BOM. Now in customizing for material X and Z storage location has been determined as SL1 but for material Y SL2 is determined. When we create delivery system automatically proposes storage location for all materials as-
    Material X- SL1
    Material Y- SL1
    Material Z- SL1
    For material X and Z it should be SL1 (which is coming right) but for Material Y it should be SL2 (but its coming as SL1 automatically)
    I've checked every area right from the combination of plant, shipping point and storage condition (storage condition is different in case of Material Y). There are also no stock determination rules defined in item category and material master. SL req. and determine SL is marked for item category of each line item.
    Please help me with this issue

    <b>If you set indicator 1 Only components, the system checks to see whether the issue storage location has been maintained in the material master record of the</b> components and uses this storage location. This storage location is then used as the withdrawal storage location and is displayed in the component list of the planned order.
    <b>If you set indicator 2 Only assembly, the system checks to see whether the proposal withdrawal location has been maintained in the production version of the assembly or finished product</b>. If this has been maintained, the system uses this withdrawal storage location for all components and displays it in the components list in the planned order. If no proposal withdrawal location has been maintained, the system uses the assembly’s receiving storage location as the withdrawal storage location for the components.
    <b>If you set indicator 3,</b> the system first proceeds as for indicator 1 described above. If it cannot find a storage location using indicator 1, it then proceeds as described above for indicator 2.
    <b>If you set indicator 4,</b> the system first proceeds as for indicator 2 described above. If it cannot find a storage location using indicator 2, it then proceeds as described above for indicator 1.

    Tick Create storage locations automatically. System will extend the material to the storage location maintained in the transaction.

    Hello All,
    I have a senereo where more than one project is going on. In my case there are 200 common materials
    which are required for all the project. Every project is having their own storage locations.
    I am creating PO for material containing the common reqt of all the project but at the time of good receipt
    as usual it is going to only one storage location casue every material has only one storage location in material master.
    Now please guide me is it possible to do the good receipt with multiple storgae location at one time itself?

    Well one more ques. i have .Can we create PO ( with out Acct assignment ) where we can put 2 diff. storage location for a single material. I mean insted of distributing the qty in migo level can we distribute this qty at PO level ?
    2) Is there any thing provision in MM where we could delivery any notes against any PO to the good receipent at the time of MIGO. I require this as per the last case that at the time of migo , good recceptant can distribute the qty to differnt storage location but how can he come to know unless we inform him by means of any text notes in PO or is ther any other methode from which good receptient can know how much qty to be distribute?

  • Purchase Order storage Location Issue

    Hello All,
    I am trying to create a PO
    The problem I am having is that the Storage location is defaulting in when I give a Plant, no matter what I do it changes back to that St location.
    It is only doing that for a few material. So i am assuming its the material thats doing it
    1) I check the default St location in the MRP 2 view. Made it blank
    2) The material is Maintained in many st locations.
    What else can cause this??

    Check the personal settings in PO document (ME21N).
    Check the Personal setting in header level.
    There you can find defalut values for PO.

  • Stock determination with multiple storage locations

    Dear Friends,
    Kindly suggest how to do the following configuration in Stock
    Determination.
    The scenario is
    For example Unrestricted Stock existing for material " X":
    Plant 4000: 10 Qty
    Sloc1 -- 6 qty
    Sloc2 -- 4 qty
    There is sales order (only plant is specified in Sales Order, No sloc) for 7 Pcs when the stock determination process is carried out it is showing the stock available is 10 qty. But when they make the PGI it is picking only 6, ie., from SLOC1, but it is not picking the balance 1 qty from SLOC2 even
    though the material is available.
    The same problem exists for Production order also.

    Hi Hari...
    Make sure you have maintained the priority for sorting & the item table for the same.
    Also in the No.Splits ( number of splits ) give a maximum possible value like 999.
    The problem happening in ur case is, i think this fiels in blank in configuration . So system is stoping the quantity spliting, which will look for the series of S.Locns till the target quantity is reached.

  • Split shopping cart into multiple PO depending storage location

    In our implemenation (Extended classic-SRM 5.0) , have requiement to  have mutiple Local POs from a shopping cart where there are multiple storage locations for same plant ,same vendor,same purchasing group,same purchasing organization,same delivery date.
      In SRM standard Shopping cart can be splitted into mutiple POs if there are mutiple vendors or multiple purchasing group or mutiple purchaisng orgnization or mutiple delivery date or combination of them but not for mutiple storage location location. As storage location in line item level of PO, SC can't be splitted into mutiple POs in SRM standard.
    Is there any way we can fulfill this requirement. ?

  • SAP AFS - VL10B delivery from specified storage location

    Dear all,
    I have created STO for an AFS material.
    As this material is available in various storage locations of the supplying plant.
    Now I am trying to create delivery through VL10B, entered the Purchase Order, Plant and specific location in the material tab, but system is not generating any outbound delivery in the background.
    again, in VL10B, if I have not specified any storage location in the material tab, system is generating the Outbound delivery for multiple storage locations with reference to batch split.
    How come system is not picking the specified storage location in VL10B transaction.
    Can I specify the issuing storage location while creating the STO, so that during VL10B, automatically the system will pickup the same storage location.

    Dear Urendra,
    If you creating a delivery for an AFS material, system picks the stocks based on the allocation rule defined in the system. Hence first efine the allocation rule in the system.
    To achieve the functionality of issuing stock in case of a STO from a
    particular storage location kindly maintain the below customizing.
    1) Go to transaction J3AS -> arun detail -> define allocation logic ->
    stock sorting
    3) Here maintain a stock sort rule .
    5) To this sort rule you can assign fields in this case it would be
    LGONR with field values EW and QA
    6)Once that is done, give the priority to the storage location in
    accordance to your requirement.
    7) Assign this sort rule to the main Arun type following the
    path J3AS-> ARun type-> here select Arun type and then under allocation tab
    go to the allocation rule maintained , out here there is the option
    stock sorting.
    Once this is done the storage location picked would be in the order
    of the above mentioned priority.
    Only if there is no stock in storage location of higher priority
    will the stock be then picked from storage location of lower priority.

    Any idea how to perform the following using a BAPI or function call with regards to updating a Delivery (VL02/VL02N)?
    1) Enter or update a storage location on a delivery item?
    2) Batch split a delivery item to give multiple batch    numbers. For example if delivery item is '101' then    after batch split additional delivery items with batch number assigned will appear as '900001', '900002', '900003', etc Entering a single batch number is straight forward and can be done using WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE/_2
    Do not wish to use BDC or call transaction. Any help appreciated.

    how can i solve this issue bcoz in the VL01N screen i can pass only one storage location.

  • Replenishment between Storage Location with MRP Planning

    I need you expertise on the below question.
    I have a plant with multiple Storage Locations. One Storage Location is Main Warehouse and another ilocation s External Warehouse (3PL) where excess stock are kept due to storage capacity in the Main Warehouse.
    Now the requirement is replenish the stock to Main Warehouse from the External Warehouse with Stock Transfer using MRP trigger the Stock Transfer.
    I know the setting in MRP 4 View in the material master, the Indicator to set to 2, maintain a reoder point in the Sloc: 1200 and Replenishment Qty: 1500 and Special Procurement Type: (what should be the setting)
    My question is where to set the target Sloc and source Sloc, then only system will trigger the replenishment Stock Transfer?
    The storage location which is plan separately, will have a different segment. Therefore, in terms of the availability check for the Sales Order it will consider as normal based on the scope of check.

    1.You need  to set up the MRP for Plant with group of storage location  and run MRP-MD01 .You can try SCOPE of planning -OM0E.
    As an information : In standard MRP I, f you have several storage location for your plant, you cannot plan for them separately unless you assign them to a separate MRP area.If a storage location (alone) is assigned to an MRP area, it means you wan to plan for it separately. If several storage locations are assigned to an MRP area (or let's say to a plant), it means you want to plan using all of them - and you cannot choose only one and plan for it (you can exclude a SLoc from planning w/o assigning it to MRP area).
    2.Find steps for config for activating Sloc to Sloc transfer within plant using STO : -
    follow path: SPRO--> Materials Management -->Purchasing -->Purchase Order -->Set up Stock Transport Order -->Set Up Stock Transfer Between Storage Locations
    1. Activate Stock Transfer Between Storage Locations
    2. Assign Delivery Type and Checking Rule According to Storage Location
    purchase document category 'F' , here use PO type UB, supplying plant, issue sloc and delivery type , (prefer to create new delivery type by copying delivery type 'NL' replenish delivery
    3. Define Shipping Data for Stock Transfers Between Storage Locations
    for plant defind sales org and distribution chenal and devision
    select the pline and go to sloc
    assign there customer (created for sloc)
    4. Define Rule for Determination of Shipping Point
    for newly created delivery type set L storage location specific shiping poing determination
    5. Assign Shipping Points According to Storage Location, assign her sloc based shiping poing determination
    at last when you will create PO put issue storage location, system will determine shiping data based on config done.
    after this process will be same as STO plant to plant using shiping.
    You will need to mention the issuing storage location during posting the delivery,
    ie, ME21N - Create STO
    VL10B - Create Delivery
    VL02N - Post Goods issue - here you will need to mention the issuing storage location
    Refer : STO process -Std in SAP

    You qerry is not clear, but the below may help you.
    If your query is about the two storage locations in Material Master MRP 2 view then :
    1. Issue storage location : If you mention any storage location here that will be defaulted for the goods movement transactions you perform, even it is copied to production order also.
    2. Storage loc for EP : It is to used for external procurement.
    If your query is about the storage locations in BOM then :
    In BOM item details field you can mention storage location which is used for goods issue. The same is copied to Production Order. This will be given the first preference over the Material Master MRP2 issue storage location.
    If your query is about maintaining two storage locations for a Material then :
    You can use Tcode : MMSC to extend the material to multiple storage locations.
