Missing 100 Bonus Points Maleficent/How to Train your Dragon 2

I have not yet received the 100 bonus points for my Maleficent and How to Train Your Dragon 2 preorders.  The 20 day waiting period has passed and I was wondering why these points have not yet appeared in my account.  Thank you.

  • Why is the movie "How to train your dragon" not available in the US itunes store?

    I am about to travel out of the USA for a extended period of time, and what I can pack is limited. I felt it would be a better choice to buy a digital version of my favorite movie "How to train your dragon" which when I search for it on the web I can find it (https://ssl.apple.com/itunes/charts/movies/how-to-train-your-dragon/). But when I go to open it up or search for the movie in itunes... it does not exist. In fact, it says as part of the error that it doesn't exist in the USA store.
    This confuses me because it was produced by a USA company and you can get the movie in Blueray and normal DVD at any store in the USA, yet iTunes seems to have blocked all sales of it.
    So I would just like to know why it is currently unavailable, and when I can hope to be able to purchase it. Thank you.

    Except it was on itunes, otherwise that link wouldn't exist, and it wouldn't state that the movie was in the top ten retals. So the company had to have given the rights to sell to itunes before now, and since it is still showing up on the apple main site as being accessable, despite not exisiting in iTunes, the movie must have already been on itunes.
    I'm not "waiting" for the initial release of this movie and being impatient, I'm frustrated because apple says its available but iTunes says it isn't. I just want the movie in a digital form. Thats all I'm asking.
    I'm asking here because there is no way I have found to get my question into the fortknox that is the Apple/itunes customer service.

  • Missing 25% bonus points

    Looking back at all my previous purchases, it seems I haven't been getting the 25% bonus points on any of my purchases. I've also noticed that sometimes my purchase history says reward zone card and sometimes it says reward zone elite plus.

    As an Elite Plus member, you can earn 1.25 points for every $1 spent on qualifying Best Buy purchases.  Those bonus points may not post to your My Best Buy™ account though until after a full 20 days.  I looked over your account history using the email address you registered with the forum, and from what I can see, all of your recent purchases have been awarded the 25% bonus.  Do you see any specific purchase where it looks like the bonus points were not awarded?  If so, please send that information to me in a private message, by clicking on the blue button in my signature, and I will take a closer look.

  • Missing preorder bonus points

    I preordered Far Cry 4 before the release date for in-store pickup. Picked it up on release and the bonus preorder purchase points has not shown up yet. Please help. Thank you.

  • Lied to at Willowbrook TX store and lost out on points... Train your staff

    Decided to take advantage of the 5x bonus point offered at the beginning of January and make a big purchase to cash in on the bonus points so I went to the Willowbrook store in Northwest Houston and bought a new game console and games when checking out I asked specifically if the bonus points would count if I got the financing option as I wasn't sure and the cashier told me yes. I had her check with her manager and he too repeated yes that they always have so I took the financing. I then called this morning looking to see where the points were and was told that the policy changed last year and I'm out on 3000+ points lucky I'm still in my return window so I'll be taking the items back for a refund and buying the system off Amazon but you really should pass word along to do better training with your employees and MANAGERS. When your company is in the shape that's it's in you need to cater toward the consumer not away from them other wise your just basically a showroom for Amazon. Judging from other posts and responses on here it looks like there's nothing that's going to happen to correct the situation outside of the normal company line it counts toward your tier response. Hopefully BB take notice before it's too late as I've always liked the store but my wallet is headed to Amazon for the foreseeable future.

    What is the Lightroom Library?

    Similar happened to me when i moved my iTunes library from XP to Win 8.1. Apps were in iTunes but would not sync to iPhone - could not find oritinal file. Win Xp and 8.1 have different file paths for My Documents and My Music. Locate the folder within iTunes called Mobile Applications. It should have a file with an IPA extension for each application. Add that folder to library. That will refresh the iTunes database so that it knows where to find the apps. I had to do that to my entire library (music, podcasts, etc)

    Anything besides reconnecting all the files, such as switching the drive letter  (if that is even possible)?
    The easiest way to fix this is to change the drive letter. Here are instructions for Windows 7: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windows7/ht/change-drive-letters-windows-7.htm
    To prevent this from happening again, you can change the drive to some very high letter, like X:, and then it should remain constant. In Lightroom, right-click on the top level folder ,and select Find Missing Folder, and then point it to your X: drive.
    I know I can "Import---Add to catalog"  all the photos from my external hard drive back into the catalog but I do have a question:
    I won't address your question specifically, since re-importing is a very bad idea. A very bad idea. You will lose information that is not in the sidecar files, such as collection members, edit history, flags, virtual copies, stacks and a few other things. Just don't go there. Change the drive letters, as I explained.

  • Missing Pre-order Points

    I have two issues. 
    First, I pre-ordred Big Hero 6 when there were 2 separate 100 point bonuses being offered.  If I recall, one was for the normal pre-order 100 points and the other was because it was nominated for awards.  Anyway, I checked my MyBestBuy account, but only one of the 100 points was posted.  I would obviously like to get the other as well.  I tried posting the picture here, so I hope it made it.
    Second, I bought a movie in-store on January 27th and then did a price adjustment in-store on after the price was lowered on February 10th.  That went fine, but the issue is something that has happened to me before, and has apparently never been fixed.  Since the price went down, there is obviously going to be some MyBestBuy points taken off.  That happened, but there was a "bonus" negative 3 in there as well.  The promotion for 3x points on movies was in effect during the price adjusment but NOT during the original purchase, and therefore too many points were deducted.  It is only a very small amount, so I'm really mentioning this just to help fix the problem (and if I can get those few points back, great).  It's just annoying that the system wasn't fixed since last time I mentiond this problem and this could be a huge problem for somebody doing a return of let's say two $20 movies.  That's minus 40 points normally and then minus an additional 120.  That stuff can add up over time.

    I am really excited to see Big Hero 6!  It won an Oscar during the Academy Awards last night, so it must be pretty good.  I love animated movies and can never watch Toy Story too many times.  That is one of my favorite movies.  
    We did have a promotion that was offering 100 bonus points between 1/11/2015 - 1/17/2015 with the pre-order of certain movies, but I am only aware of one actual promotional offer.  I partnered with our My Best Buy program team and confirmed that there was only one promotion offering bonus points back in January when you placed your pre-order.  I can understand how it may have appeared as if there were two promotions offering 100 bonus points; however, if you clicked on each offer it should have directed you to the same offer details.  With that being said, the 100 bonus points that have posted to your account would fulfill the offer.
    A return/exchange or price match will usually result in some points being deducted, but points for a promotion that were never originally awarded should not have been deducted.  If the movie you purchased on 1/27/2015 was not awarded 3X points, then 3X points should not have been deducted from your account following the price match.  To ensure that your My Best Buy account is up-to-date and to see if you have any other questions, I will be sending you a private message.  You can check your private messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the little yellow envelope located at the top of the page.

  • Two great questions, bonus points for solving.

    The most important first, I cannot change any info on any of my songs. This is a real problem, since the volume balancer also does not work, and had to balance manually. Related issue, I cannot check the button to "not play while shuffling." Very important if I have audiobooks mixed into my music.
    The other problem is annoying, and actually may be a Windows issue. Every time I let the screensaver start, when I wiggle the mouse, all open applications close. I mention this here because it used to be limited to iTunes being affected. Since I re-did Windows, all applications are affected. Odd.
    Oh, while I'm at it, a bonus problem; the visualizer does not work.
    I have re-installed iTunes enough times to make me dizzy. That has never fixed any of these issues.

  • Bonus points for pre-ordering X-Men: Days of Future Past

    Hello,
    I ordered this blu-ray the same day as I did for Captain America: The Winter's Soldier.  I received my 100 bonus points for Captain America a few weeks ago.  However, when I checked my account this morning for the bonus points on X-Men, it only showed 1 point (instead of 100).  I was wondering what happened to it.  Thanks for any info you can offer.

    We did have a promotion between 8/31/2014 and 9/6/2014 that was offering 100 bonus points with select pre-orders.  This offer was only available on BestBuy.com, there was a limit of 100 bonus points per title, and a maximum of 600 bonus points per member.  If your pre-order of X-Men: Days of Future Past was placed while the offer was valid, then 100 bonus points should post to your My Best Buy account within about 20 days.  You may not see those bonus points emerge as pending or post until after your pre-order is fulfilled.

    The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes pre-order that you placed on BestBuy.com should qualify for 100 bonus points, as part of our Black Friday offers.  It can generally take up to 20 days for points to officially post to a member's My Best Buy™ account, and it is fairly common for bonus points not to appear as pending.

  • 500 Pre-Order Bonus Points Missing

    I have several games I've pre-ordered and picked up this year but I can't seem to find the bonus points and I can't look back more than 90 days.  The most recent is COD: MW but there have been others.  I have GCU and have followed the rules.  Can somebody look into this?

    Like enuf mentioned, it typically takes 15-20 days from the time of shipment or pickup for pre-order bonus certificates to post. We also recently changed how My Best Buy account details appear on BestBuy.com in order to streamline user experience for the Thanksgiving shopping season, as Derek-BBY explained here.   • Missing pre-order bonus points

    Hello,
    I picked up pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 5 and Far Cry 4 on 11/18, but the 500 bonus points per game do not show as pending on my purchase history.From browsing this forum, it looks like the reason is that the initial $5 deposits were not properly applied to the final sale. Can this be corrected?

    Thanks too for being a My Best Buy member.  As enuf mentioned, points can take up to 20 days to post to your account, and as long as you have both the pre-order and the purchase associated to your membership then the points should appear within that time frame.

  • Bonus points from first credit card purchase.

    I was wondering if I needed to do anything special to get my extra 5% bonus points  from the first purchase on credit card.  We are expecting an additional 8,099 points.   We purchased an "open box" tv, but had to return and purchase a new tv as most of parts were missing on first tv.  The saleman said both receipts would be used, since the return was a store issue.

    Welcome to the Best Buy forum, and thank you for posting.
    As long as the offer terms were met, the additional 5% back in points should have posted to your My Best Buy™ account within about 20 days.  A return and repurchase could potentially prevent those points from posting because the repurchase is obviously not the first purchase, which is what is required to qualify for the full 10% back in points.  While the store associate may have said both receipts should work, the store has absolutely no say in how points are awarded.
    After looking over your account, it looks like the store processed the second transaction as an exchange and not a repurchase.  That would leave me to believe that your original purchase should still be eligible for the full 10%, but you have two My Best Buy™ accounts.  Anytime that a new Best Buy credit card or MasterCard account is opened a new My Best Buy™ account is opened, and the TV you purchased was applied to an existing account rather than the new account that is tied to your new credit card.
    I would suggest that we look into potentially merging the two accounts, which should not be an issue if they share the same information (name, phone #, mailing address).  To gather some additional information from you and further discuss a potential merge, I will be sending you a private message.  You can check your private messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the little yellow envelope icon located at the top of the page.
