Missing Parts on the laptop I received.

I am very very upset with Lenovo customer support line. I placed a T400 laptop order around mid November, and received the order 2 weeks later. Not until early this week, that I noticed that the laptop is missing a part that I was ordered (42X1263) Express 7 in 1 Media card reader.
I made several phone calls to your hotline, from 877-338-4465, 866-42-844665, 8004267378, 87742844665, 866-45844665, and talked to reps in Service Dept, Tech Support, Sales Depart, from both Lenovo and IBM... but just nobody can get the issue addressed and send me the replacement part. It is a $8.50 little part!!, and I paid for with my order placed. One guy even rudly question that why it take me so long to request the replacement part!!
I got tech support case no. 30TTF5H... can anybody here  help me?

Enable sound:
1. Right click speaker icon (right hand corner)
2. Select Playback devices
3. Right click Speakers
4. Enable it and set as Default
5. Click Apply/Ok
Enable microphone:
1. Right click speaker icon (right hand corner)
2. Select Microphone devices
3. Right click Microphone
4. Enable it
5. Click Apply/Ok

  • Commited date for missing parts in the production order

    when i generate a prodution order and there are some missing parts for that material. its showing the list of all the missing parts but the commited date is coming out as 12/31/9999.
    I maintained the the planned delivery time for all those components.but still its giving me this date

    Check in OPJJ for your checking group and checking rule combination what's the scope of check
    defined --->under this you must have included the check box for Check availability without
    replenishment lead time. It Indicates whether, during the availability check, the system checks the
    replenishment lead time.
    Use
    Items for which the delivery date falls within the replenishment lead time, but for which there is no inventory, are confirmed for delivery after the replenishment lead time. In the case of items for which the delivery date falls after the end of the replenishment lead time, the system assumes that everything can be confirmed.
    Procedure
    In the standard version, leave this field blank if you want the system to check the replenishment lead time.
    Dependencies
    If you want the system to check the replenishment lead time, you should make sure that you have entered a value in at least one of the following three fields in the material master:
    GR (goods receipt) processing time (Purchasing view)
    Planned delivery time (MRP I view)
    GR processing time (MRP II view)
    Otherwise, the system confirms every requirement.
    If that check box is included then system proposes the date as 31.12.9999.
    Just remove the check box setting and check once again in CO01 for material availability check.
    Even If the check box is not included and if the End lead time (replenishment lead time)of that raw
    material  is before the order start date then you will not get any mssing part's list.
    Suppose if the replenishment lead time is after the order start date means then you will get this raw
    material under mssing parts list.
    Replenishment lead time = Planned delivery start time + GR processing time of that raw material (this
    starts from today).
    Say let your finished product finish date be 30.03.2009 and order start date be 28.03.2009,and let the
    planned delivery time be 15 days and GR processing time of the raw material be 5 days.
    So in this case End lead time = 15+ 5 = 20 = 01.04.2009 starting from today ,so in this case you will
    be getting this raw material under missing parts because its end lead time time is after the order start
    date.Suppose if its  before order start date you will not get in missing parts.(Even if the check box is not
    included under RLT).
    So check with this and revert back.

  • Static Electricity coming from all parts of the laptop

    I plugged my laptop to my usb printer and i noticed there was occasional static electricity emitting from all parts of the laptop except the touchpad and the keyboards. Its freaky. And it was strong enough for me to feel through my bare hands. My MBP was on battery and not charging at that moment. What should I do? Is it a malfunction? PS: I live in Singapore where it is humid and I dont have carpeting so it is not rubbed static.

    Does it happen if you connect your computer to a three prong outlet with the three prong plug that comes with it?
    Do you have a surge protector or UPS you can connect it to?

  • Photoshop Elements 11 will not open. It gives an error message about a missing part of the program.

    I purchased a new HP Envy running Windows 8, with Photoshop Elements 11 preinstalled.  When I clicked on the icon the program would not open. It gave an error message stating part of the program was missing. The error message was in code and stated some parts of the program needed to run togeth, or side by side. Am I able to download a repair patch from Adobe customer support?

    Could you please attach a snapshot showing the error dialog?

  • Problem of Missing parts during the Process Order release

    Hi
    For a Make to Order strategy, I have run MRP for a sales order which resulted in planned order for the material. But when I try to convert the Planned Order to Process Order, I am getting error Parts are missing during the availabilty check even though the components are available in the stock.
    But when I create a Process Order manually, I am not facing the problem of missing parts as stock for components are available in stock.
    Please advice why I am facing the problem with Planned Orders which are created via MRP.

    Dear all,
    If we set the Individual requirement (1) in MRP4 view of the material master for the component, the system will not consider the plant stock and it will give the message like Parts are missing during the Process Order process even though the plant stock is exists for the component.
    So I would like to where in customization you define this?
    --> To not consider the plant stock if individual req is set (1)
    --> To consider the plant stock if collective req is set (2)

    my psc 1315xi wont print all of a document. Everything I try to print is missing sections of the document. It will print a lot of the document with missing words or letters. Office Depot had no trouble printing the documents. The color seems to be off as well. It prints gray and not black. It will not copy or print a test page. When I try to run a diagnosis it says that it is not in my hp software(?).

    Upon moving to Tiger, I've wanted to be able to use the Mac's own fax capability (I always used old reliable FaxSTF). But everytime someone tries to send me a fax, only the upper quarter, or third, is received (it's the same from all different senders). Does anyone know if I'm missing a setting for getting full (and all) pages of an incoming fax?

  • I need a new Top and Bottom Shell (Underside and Top of the main part of the laptop)

    I can't find the parts I need in partsurfer, though I may have messed up. Any help would be appreciated. On a related note, HP Really needs to improve their issues with the left heinge.

    I've tried the procedure you referenced. I still believe I need to clear all earlier syncing history before I can sync my phone with my laptop. When I tried the procedure you've recommended I couldn't find/recall my old sync key. I went through the process of resetting and creating a new sync key, but that didn't help...

  • Canon MG5350 printing problem: missing parts of the image

    I am trying to print a DVD sleeve which includes text and image and only the text is printing correctly. I have done a nozzle check and a print head realignment, this hasn't solved the problem.
    Here is a screenshot of the original .doc and below it, a scan of the image as it prints.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    UPDATE: I also deleted and re-installed the printer driver from the Canon site.
    Then I tried to print something else and the FONT came out incorrectly.

    I works ! Thanks for the tip.  What I did is install the FS-800 driver (since there is no FS-820) and it works (with the ljet4 version).  I was using the FS-850 version ... maybe my problem was from there !  Anyway ! Thanks, you pointed me in the good direction !

    I open a pro.order before released ,then I do the availability check get a missing parts list, this list including less parts than the missing parts after pro.order released ,why does it caused?which configuration caused?

    You can do Material Availability check at the two stage of Production / Process Orders.
    - First is to control (Check Missing Part) at the time of Order Creation.
      T.code is OPJK - Select order type and Business Transaction -1 at the time of Order Creation
    - Second is to control(Check Missing Part) at the of Order Relase.
      T.code is OPJK - Select order type and Business Transaction - 2 at the time of Order release.
    So it may possible that you have assign different checking group or checks to the above both stages , that's why you got different result regarding missing parts during above both stages.

    I purchased a new Samsung refirgerator last October. I also paid for professional installation. The installation crew found one of the screws holding the door handle on was missing. They said that they would be back the next day. Here it is Aguust and not once did they try to come back. I aslo contacted the store appliance manager. He was going to get the screws and install them.  He never showed either. He wanted me to exchange the refrigerator like I would exchange a laptop computer. Have you ever tried to transport a refrigerator with it fully stocked?
    What is wrong with this story? How can you do business like this!

    Installing a fridge can be deceptively tricky sometimes, so it can be a nice comfort to have someone professionally do it on your behalf. I can imagine this wasn't the case for you though if we installed your fridge without all of its parts, especially since the missing part is the screw for the door handle! I know I certainly wouldn't be happy with how long this part order was taking, and I'm sorry for any frustration you've endured trying to get this resolved on your own.
    Using the email address attached to your forum account, I pulled up your installation service order from December last year. I do see an indication that your fridge's screw was ordered, but if your local store was asking you to exchange it, it makes me think the part may not be available for purchase. Please know though that I'm partnering with store leadership to provide you some concrete answers, and I hope to have an update for you within the next day or so.

    Hello Friends,
    Need your help regarding this issue. For a missing part in production order, we receive an email at the time of goods receipt of the missing part. The output type here is MLFH.
    For few parts we are receiving an email message and for few we are not receiving.
    Please advise where the issue could be

  • Missing parts for Process orders

    Hi Experts,
    We are trying to find out the Transaction to faciltate the Missing parts list for the process order even after the order has been completed having the Status TECO, CLSD. This is to understand whether proper enough materials are consumed for the order or not. Based on that Production incharge can ensure the component consumption is made as per the Process order requirement.
    We are trying with CO24, this is showing the missing parts list if order does not contain TECO and CLSD status.
    Also we are checking with COOISPI, COID, but could find the correct feature out of them.
    Do we need to develop any customized report with the help ABAPers.If yes please guide us the method.
    Please help us in acheiving the list of components which are not consumed as per the Process order requirement.
    Also guide us to identify the list of materials which are excess consumed for the Process order.

    So we need to develop the program to flag the missing parts and its qty even after the Order has the status TECO or CLSD.
    Can you please provide logic to develop the Program.
    I am thinking to take the inputs from process order required qty Vs withdrwan qty. if the Qty difference is positve, which should come under missing parts. if the difference is still negative means excess qty consumed.

    Even in OPJH I have maintained no creation of order in case of missing parts, when i create a production order from planned order and I know the Bom components are not avialable in stock then also system allows to create. Pls guide on how to pevent creation of order.

    If my understanding is correct then the settings in OPJK for business function 1 - availability check during order creation even if
    the value is set as 3 for collective conversion,this works during partial conversion of planned order into production/process
    order or during collective conversion of planned orders into production orders.
    But however the setting in OPJK for business functionality 2 - during order release checks and if
    there are any missing parts means the order cant be released for the value 3 set for release material.

    Thanks for your quick reply. But this is not what I am looking out for. I am sorry, I think my question was not clear.
    There is one functionality in Production Planning area that we can find out the missing parts for the production order. We have to send the information to our warehouse asking for the missing parts to fulfill the production order. Our warehouse is not on SAP so we want to send the information through an ALE/IDOC. In order to do this I wanted to know that is there any standard IDOC type which can be used or we have to create a custom IDOC.
