I am be Blocked by a scand place call Trend Micro Titanium Internet Secuity. I can't even get in to Microsft with a notes comes up saying DANGEROUS BLOCKED this was install by a place in LA I think. The sofware was install by a place call P C SPEEDY I had it was hook with Microsft but it NOT. there controling ever thing that I am doing. So that why I came in by useing SKYPE but I don't know how lone it going to take be for they just stop my computer. Can you HELP ME this is not right in then control my computer. I cannot install ITunes 10.6, my computer keeps blocking on it. At first I had problems with the upgrade, then I couldn't start iTunes anymore, so I had to uninstall it in orde to reinstall it again. However that doesn't work.
Everytime I run the installation process, it blocks my whole computer when I'm in about 3/4 of the install procedure; The only thing I can do is push the on/off button to turn my PC off...

It will work with Windows 7 32 bit. On a 64 bit you will have to install Windows XP Mode. You can download it from the Microsoft Website. The XP Mode will run Windows XP in 32 bit. Microsoft has easy instructions on the download. One download at a time. Install the first download then the second download. You will have to copy your icon from all program and paste to the desktop if you are going to use it often.

about 2 weeks ago my itunes started to work very bad and about 1 week ago ,when i was trying to use itunes my computer blocked.i restarted it but it kept like this.now my computer is blocking even if itunes is not opened.the problem is getting very serious because i restarted the computer today about 15 times in a row till it started.it keeped on blocking

I wish I could adequately describe my frustration with apple. Anyway, my iphone 3gs gets nothing but an apple symbol, never getting to a red slider. On a different computer, it tells me I must overcome the passcode, Ingenious!!! I'm painstakingly extracting photos from it a few at a time. I thought it was backed up before but it wasn't so. My phone cycles off and on every few minutes making backup and restore impossible or so I thought. Though it didn't restore, it does say there's a backup. I'd like to know if it's a full backup of all the data on my phone and how do I determine that? I tried to change a contacts file to a file that could be used outside of Itunes (csv) but no luck. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. I'm sure my iphone is not repairable as I've tried it all. Sigh

Check with the manufacturer for updated drivers for your tablet.

Why does find my iphone show my computer 2 blocks away

So Find My iPhone shows my iphone very close to where it really is, but at the same time it shows my computer 2 blocks away? Is it showing me the internet providers site/tower?

Your computer doesn't have GPS, so it's location is based on the known location of nearby WiFi networks and therefore will not be anywhere near as accurate as the iPhone location.

Messages from my computer being blocked by my router

I keep seeing the following messages in my routers log. They are only coming from my powerbook's IP:
[INFO] Sat Apr 01 22:56:44 2006 Blocked outgoing TCP packet from <my ip:port> to <an outside ip:port> as RST:ACK received but there is no active connection

They aren't occasional. Last night i show almost 70 in a row to only two ips over ten minutes. I wasn't able to trace these 2. I've been noticing this for a couple days, but I am sure thats just because I have been looking. A few i have been able to use the network utility and find out the domain and some of those have been sites I had been looking at in Safari. Others were not.
What is my computer doing? Mine seems to be the only ip registering this kind of activity in my router's log.

but anyway, have you tried running tcpdump to see the
traffic? It might provide a clue. If you're not
familiar with it, you will have to open a Terminal
window and type:
sudo tcpdump -v
and enter the administrative password when prompted.
To get more detail, add more "v"s, e.g.
sudo tcpdump -vvv
will give you lots of information.

I have a number of suggestions.
1) When posting questions to forums do post your code here and if it's a too long that's a sign you should be posting less of it. You should have started by posting the computerMove method here. Make it easy for us to help you.
2) There are a few suggestions I have about the code in general and improvements you should look to make. Many of the things you are doing are fine for beginners but as code grows in length and programs in complexity it's time to learn better styles. And you're at that point here (the use of recursion for example is a sign). The program could use a serious OO overhaul, you will learn to be a better programmer and it will make your code easier to follow and understand for you. On that note for example there is too much static here. A properly written version of this program will have exactly one static method (main) and none of the static variables. That would be a good place to start improving. If you're not sure what this means see [http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/java/javaOO/classvars.html]
3) In the same line as above, think about using a class (or enum) to represent each "square" rather than the Strings. Strings are fine for display but you don't want to abuse them by using them to hold game (object) state as well. The code would really be helped by using an enum like

4) And also as above don't declare and initialize variables you may or may not need in areas removed from where you may or may not need them. Aka that random should be created the line before you need it, when you need it. Putting it at the start of the method just makes for needless confusion in reading your code and also has a negative performance impact (probably very small but it's there). You should strive to always create and use variables in the smallest scope that they need, tis good practice.
5) I suspect your actual problem is here (inside computerMove)

}It took me a bit to understand that you are looping with recursion here (and a bunch of these if/else statements) but that ending zero (aka computerMove(horz+1, 5, 0); ) looks wrong to me. Shouldn't that also be 1 there?

Driver not compatible with a policy on your computer that blocks NT 4.0 drivers

I've recently upgraded from WinXP SP3 to Vista Business and upgraded to SP2. At first my CP1215 seemed OK. But after shutting down and restarting, I had to re-install the printer. Since then, I've been getting the captioned error. I've downloaded and re-downloaded the most recent PNP software/driver package. I keep getting the same error. This is NOT a shared printer but one connected directly via USB.
All searches and solutions seem to relate to shared network printers with older drivers and mine is not the case.

I have provided some steps to go through to see if this will resolve the issue.
Sorry for having to repeat a lot of the steps.
Disconnect the USB cable.
Uninstall the printer software again from the CD.
I would like you to create a new administrator user account, just in case there is some hidden corruption based off of your current user account. Please follow these specific steps, since I am providing instructions on unlocking a specific user account:
Run Command Prompt as Administrator. To do that, go to the start menu, type “CMD” in the search bar. Now, you should see a shortcut for CMD above. Right click on it, and click “run as administrator”. If it asks you for administrative permission, please allow permission. In your Command Prompt window (as administrator), type the following and hit Enter: net user administrator /active:yes
You should see a message saying "the command completed successfully". After troubleshooting is done, you can disable this account by typing the following command into Command Prompt (as administrator): net user administrator /active:no. Restart the computer, and utilize the new account that is available, which should be named "Administrator". In this user account, proceed with the following:
(Note, ensure these changes are completed in the Administrator account that was just created.)
After this account is created, I would like you to perform a clean boot on the computer. This will prevent most third-party programs from interfering with the software installation, since some third-party programs can provoke this issue. The next step is performing a System File Check. Go to start, select run type in cmd, run Command Prompt as administrator again. Type in this command and hit Enter afterward: sfc /scannow.
SFC stands for System File Checker, and it scans and attempts to restore corrupted Windows files. Running this might find a corrupted file or service and repair it. After it completes it will basically say either no corrupted files were found, corrupted files were found and repaired, or corrupted files were found but were unable to be repaired. Restart after this completes and record your results.

Before you install the printer again, I would like you to re-register the Windows Installer service.
Go to start, select run type in msiexec /unregister then click OK, then type in msiexec /regserver then click OK.
(make sure you are typing it in exactly there is a space in between)
Do a msconfig to turn off any startup programs.
Temporarily turn off the Antivirus softare.
Click on start, select run, enter, then type in msconfig, click OK.
Click the Services tab.
Click to select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box.
Click Disable All, and then click OK.
Then click on the start up tab at the top.
Click on disable all.
Reboot the computer.
Download and install the Full Feature Drivers.
HP Color LaserJet Full Feature Software and Drivers.
Then go back into msconfig and enable the All Microsoft Services and enable all on the start up tab. Turn the Antivirus software back on again.

I'm so glad I stumbled on your dialogue here - I am having the EXACT same problem. Mine started about 1 week ago AND I have the same router as you, Comcast gave me the exact same response, etc... Still can't get my MacBook Pro on the network, though I can take the computer ANYWHERE else and it connects to any other network. Very strange. I can't get any support from Comcast and this is clearly their issue and not Apples. Did you ever resolve?
Even stranger is that I can get on Comcast's webpage no problem so they keep telling me nothing is wrong but I can't visit any other web pages as I am told "no connection to the internet". Even when I plug into my modem with DSL cable...no internet even though Comcast keeps telling me there is service and I'm online...I'm not!
I don't know what to do next. I haven't been able to use my computer in over a week. I'm typing this on somone else's laptop, who is connected to my netowrk (LOL). Any advice? Thanks!

Itunes v.6.0.3 consistantly crashes my computer and blocks my anti-virus

I've been having issues with iTunes v.6 for a while now. I had trouble immediately after downloading the new version. I had to use the "Lorraine" fix to get the thing to even open! Now, I've found that Norton won't scan or update, none of my Office applications will open, and my computer crashes on a regular basis.
At this point, I'm quite tempted to just uninstall itunes completely and start over with the version in the box.
Does anyone else have any suggestions or ways to make the rest of my computer work with iTunes? I saw that there is an update for iTunes, but didn't try it as my luck has been really poor with the updates lateley. Will that one fix the issues with iTunes/Windows?
Any help would be appreciated. Also, does anyone happen to know what the support email address is for iTunes? When you call the apple help line, they tell you to email iTunes support, but I can't find an email address anywhere.

Mis-typed the version number? Apple's iTunes download page indicates latest version is still 6.0.2.
Anyhow, it sounds like your computer could use a fresh start (backup your data and rebuild.) Especially since you mention that your recent update history hasn't been all that successful. iTunes is a major resource hog (CPU and RAM) but you might have some other underlying issues.
I administer 600+ WindowsXP machines, all with Office and anti-virus, many with iTunes. iTunes runs just fine.

First of all, why did you say yes to Nero Back up before researching what it does with files already on the HDD? When I install Nero, the Back Up is the first thing I disable, it is a nagging pain, there are much better backup programs available. There are several file recovery programs out there to recover deleted files, that is, if that is what happened. Also, if you haven't overwritten the files, so you should be able to find them.

Synching computer's 'block mail' setting to iphone mail

I have blocked a particular email address from my mail inbox on my MacBook Pro; however, that block mail setting doesn't sync to my iPhone. The blocked mail gets through. Help.....

I should add that this problem happenes between iMessage users. If the person sending the message has iMessage turned off, then there isn't a problem.

My computer is blocking firefox from loading from the logo shortcut it prompts me to choose a program to open it!

1.I click on logo.
2.a window opens that says I must choose from

Hi, I just bought a new iPod, I tried with a Mac and a Windows system and any of them recognized the iPod, once the iPod is connected, the computer is "blocked", if i disconnect it, it works again, what should i do?

Unable to send fax from computer

Hi,
I'm unable to send faxes from my computer (e.g, from Word). I get a message: "The device is disconnected or powered off", which is not true.
The printer is an HP LaserJet 1536dnf MFP.
The OS is Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit, with 8 GB RAM.
I have updated to the latest firmware from the HP site, and have downloaded the latest appropriate driver package for this printer from there as well (hp_M1530_MFP_full_Solution_usb_n_w.exe)
The installation goes normally, and there are no error messages.
The printer is working fine. I am able to print and scan from the computer without problems. I am also able to fax directly from the printer without problems. The only problem is not being able to send a fax directly from the computer.
For instance, in Word (the latest version), when I print to the HP fax printer (which has indeed been installed correctly on the computer), I get a message that the doc has been send to the printer. But no screen pops up letting me type a phone number, and after about 1 minute I get this error:
Have been on the phone for several hours to HP support, and although they did a complete uninstall, and reinstall, the problem persists.
I also downloaded and ran this file from HP: HPLJ_M1530_Fax_IE_11_utility.exe, which is meant to resolve a very similar issue for people who have this Microsoft KB installed (KB2898785), which somehow interferes with the fax exactly as I have described. I do indeed have that Windows update installed. However, running the file did not solve the problem, and there seems to be no way of uninstalling that KB.
So I am at a loss, and would appreciate any help, if anybody can think of anything.

I see by your post that you are unable to send a fax from the computer. I would like to help.
Since you are able to print and scan from the computer, you don't have a communication issue. The printer will also send a fax, so it isn't a hardware issue. It sounds more like something possibly on the computer is blocking the fax communication.
The Toolbox doesn't support Windows 7 64 bit, but you should still be able to fax through Third Party Software. (Word) Which you have already tried and it didn't work.
I would disable all the start up programs and temporarily turn off the Antivirus Software to see if there is a program interfering in the back ground. How to use MSCONFIG . Click on the start up tab and click disable all.
Try sending a fax again.
Then you will have to go back and enable the startup programs and turn the Antivirus Software back on again.
