New field data not passed from BupaSearch to BupaCreate

Hi,
We have 2 new fields on BupaSearch. When we hit the create button to create a new BP, any data entered in the 2 new fields is not then passed through to the BupaCreate view. I've debugged in method 'CREATE_ACCOUNT' in BupaSearch, where it sets up parameters but the fields are not available to use at this point for some reason. So, for example, the following will fail:
lv_nickname = lv_query->get_property_as_string( 'NICKNAME' ).
Can anyone point me in the right direction ?

I need your help. Im trying to create a new field "identification type" in a view. This field is existing as a attribute of "BuilIdNumber" object. Im able to add this as context node. But when i include this field in view, and launch webclient, this field is disabled, Can you help me on this. I have used the wizard for creating a context node.
Can you plz tell all the steps in detail that are to be carried to add new field to a view.

Added new field to cube but data not passed from DSO

(BI 7.0) We added new fields into a cube. The fields already existed in the DSO. When we ran the process chain in development for the first time after making this change, we notice that the 'historical' data for these fields is populated in the cube. When we do this in our quality system only new data passed to the cube is updated. In development in the sub-chain DTP request we see all previous requests listed under selections. In quality it is only the latest request. The only difference is that the DeltaInit flag in the DTP request in development is ticked (extraction mode) - but not in quality. Does anyone know whyb this is?

Adding fields to cube doesn't affect delta status...The delta DTP should be able to handle delta requests automatically.
I guess in you quality system, the cube already got all requests updated from ODS before you importing the change request. And in develop system none of the requests in ODS were updated before the change.

Field Value not passed from IDOC (orders01) to File Generated

Hi All,
I have added a custom field to a PO at item level (ekpo-Ztest)and Passing it to OUTBOUND IDOC.
In process of passing to IDOC(ORDERS01) i mapped the field to segment E2EDP19001-MFRPN and i see the value in the IDOC when i view it in WE02.
The problem is when i generate a file i don't see the value of E2EDP19001-MFRPN
We are already using QUALF,IDTNR,KTEXT of E2EDP19001 and i see all the values of these fields being passed from IDOC to file generated .
Let me know as i'm missing anything in here

1)The version 000 and 001 are released but not 002 Version
2)May be i 'm using version 000 and its out put length is only 108 and these fields(QUALF,IDTNR,KTEXT) together occupy 108 and there is no room for my new field but My IDOC dispalys E2EDP19001 and E2EDP19002 and also it displays my new field but its the output file generated that doesn't show the value

If both have Firewire ports then you can accomplish your goal by using Target Disk Mode. If this is not possible then you can do using an external drive or if you have a local network connect both to your network and use filesharing between the two computers.

Data not passing between two Views in FPM-GAF

Hello All
I have first screen (view) configured with Initial screen and second view with main step using FPM GAF. But data is not passing from first screen to second screen. All views/Windows contains in the one component.
Example: In First Screen contains Employee Data in table , selecting the row clicks on button it is navigating to other screen (Mainstep) BUT selected data is not passing.

I'm bit surprised to hear that this is working in other screens. As per the FPM concepts (my understanding), for the parent component that is used in child component, it will create a new instance and it wont re-use the instance of the Parent Component that is already embedded in the Initial Screen.
In your case, you have embeded the parent component in Initial Screen. So FPM framework will create a new instance at runtime. while navigating to the Main Step, since child component is using parent component, the FPM wont re-use the instance of parent component. Rather it will create a new instancs of parent component. Since new instance is created, the data entered in the previous step/screen wont be available. this behavior is same for all the steps.
anyway comming to your question and solution for the same.
1. In the child component, create another window (say PARENT_WINDOW) and embed the view that was exposed by the parent component (basically interface view of the parent component)
2. in the GAF component configuration, for the initial screen, embed the child component and view as PARENT_WINDOW
3. for the main step, embed the child component and view as acutal view of the child component.
Here same component is used in both the places. Now the FPM will try to reuse the instance of the child component. As a result, the data entered in the Initial screen will be available in the Main Step as well.
Other approach would be to use the singleton class and share the data between these two components.

Assignment field is not picking from GL

Dear All,
We are posting one real estate document with reference of the contract number. But when we see the FI document assignment field is not updating from GL which we maintained in sort key.
In that FI document we have 4 line items but one line has got updated assignment which we maintained in GL as a sort key.
Anyone have a idea please replay.

It should pick the field value based on the sort key maintained.
What is the sort key maintained in the GL in which line item the assignment field is empty.
You can check your self as below:
Goto TCODE : OB16
Goto the Sort key for which the data is missing.
Select that and check the field maintained in that.
Check the data of that field in the BSEG/BKPF.
It should pick based on the data in that field.
OTHER POSSIBILITES:
Check the Substitution using the TCODE : GGB4 for the field BSEG-ZUONR
OR
any user exit.

Hi Jeff. Yes, I was prompted to enter my Adobe ID, after that the program did not continue. It only show a little circle spinning on the lower right. But after 5 minutes it still was spinning.

There is start routine from DSO1 TO DSO2 and as per the start routine some records should come but they are getting missed.

Header data not coming from vendor master when creating SA using BAPI

Hello,
I am creating SA using BAPI_SA_CREATE. I am passing the vendor code and other header related data in the header table of the BAPI.
SA is created successfully with all the data that is passed to the BAPI. Now if the payment term and inco terms data is passed initial to BAPI then this data is not taken from vendor master. This data appears blank in SA.
Shouldn't this data be picked up from vendor master as they are maintained properly in vendor master?
I just need confirmation whether BAPI picks or not from vendor master if the data (payment term and inco terms) passed is initial.

New field does not reflect in Table control

Dear Experts,
There is a requirement to add a new field in a table and gets it displayed in already created table control (with wizard). I have added a new field, I can see that in the final internal table (debugger). But the field is not getting reflected in the table control. Why? Should I delete the whole table control and create again (which I do not want to do) or is there any other way?
As you can see in the below screenshot that there is already enough space but the last zzfield is not yet added.

Hi,
Either you use table control wizard and delete and create new table or try to understand how table control works and add the field on your own.
Open the screen layout. Press F6 or click on Dictionary/Program fields window. Type field name here. It should be work area field in which table data is loaded by looping on the table. Click on Get from program button. Your field will be listed there. Select the line and click on OK button. Place the field at appropriate location in the table. You can change the attributes of the field by clicking on the attribute window F2.

Values not passing from form to context attributes (value attributes)

I have bound the properties of theadobe interactive form (WD-Java) to the context attributes but the values are not passing to the value attributes at runtime.
For your information I have not bound the pdfsource binary attribute of the view to the custom controller pdfsource binary attribute.

Is it allright to have the Data Source as a ModelNode (mapped to the controller context node) and then have Value Attributes under the ModelNode which are then bound to the adobe form input fields.
I know its frustrating to advise on such questions without looking at the code actually. But I would definitely need your support.
If possible could you mail me a project of yours where you have the form being PREFILLED with some values coming from a RFC FM and then the same form gets posted to SAP though another RFC FM.

OK. When I create a Fresh Adobe Interactive Form application, it works fine.
The problem Im facing is in the case, when Im using an existing PDF file created in the ABAP stack (TCode SFP). I am importing this PDF file into the WebDynpro Java Application and then binding the fields. So in this case the context binding does not work.
You guyz are right, I need to check if there is any other script which exists. But still what are views after this update?
