It occurs when attempting to consume an external web service over HTTP. This issue is not reproducible on our local environments nor did it occur with our previous shared hosting provider. On Azure, the same web service call can result in this error or will
return a response successfully. There doesn't appear to be any pattern as to why the same call would work one time but not another.

1. Check the master data settings of process 300900 in CP02. In the "Allocation" tab. all the necessory settings are maintained such as process diriver and defalut values like cost element, actvity allocation (should be "1" i.e. manual entry in your case)
2. Maintain the planning data for this business process through CP26 for year 2008.

ECatalog for SRM - Planned Maintenance
Hi all,
Currently, I have a requirement to develop an eCatalog for Planned Maintenance (PM) Order. For each PM order, there will be list of components need to be purchased from Vendor. When user click on 'Catalog' button (toolbar below of Component tab), it will prompt up a dialog box for user to key-in Catalog ID based on Plant and Maintenance Type, and direct the user to a vendor's catalog page (Internet browser like), where user can select the desired components for maintenance usage.
Also, I notice that SAP version 4.7 only cater one Catalog as a standard, is there anyway to cater multiple catalogs instead (any BADI or user exits to achieve this)?
The major challege for this development will be:
- Multiple Catalogs
- UoM Mapping (from Vendor's UoM to SAP UoM)
- Product Category (from Vendor's Product Category to SAP Material Group)
- Log file of each transaction (for trouble-shooting purpose, so that user can identify which part of the error occurs)
I understand the above can be configured and development of BADI will be involved, however, I'm totally new to this eCatalog development. Hence, I would appreciate if someone can shed some light based on the requirement.

Query , logical DB or report about plan maintenance and functional location
Hi,
I've to do a report about a list of plan maintenance. I've to show the functional location affected by the plans but in the table MPOS the field TPLNR doesn't exist.
But I have maintenance plans that affects to functional location only. I've not found any useful logical database or report to show this information.
Could anybody help to me?

First take the ILOAN from ILOA table by object reference is 2 (Field: OWNER) in output.
Then put the Loc/acct assignment value at input of the MPOS table which is u received from ILOA table -

I am using a Printer shared by a Windows Server. I used it successfully for a long time. But now it doesn't work anymore. May be it doesn't work anymore after I installed the updates. I am using mac os x 10.5.2 and this is the report from cupsd log (debug modus)

1. sys prefs
2. print & fax
3. click add button
4. right (ctrl) click toolbar and choose Customize
5. add Advanced icon to toolbar
6. recommend removing more printers
--> Add printer (Selecting Windows)
Enter url: smb://username:password@workgroup/servername/printer
Ps: If your password contains spaces, replace them with "%20" to espace the string

Planned maintenance notifications to MEB
Good Morning Guys
I have been having problems processing planned maintenance notifications when creating revisiom and creating orders from revised revisions.
Am getting two errors
1.Task list A ENG 01: no conversion rule found for work center MA00/1000
2.Error creating order for task list 02000038 4000290 A ENG 01 in revisions
This is what i got from perfomace assistance

The system tried to create an order for main work center MA00/1000 from task

I assume you mean "Plant Maintenance" module.
"Actual Process" Is also a bit misleading. There are many distinct processes within the PM module, just as in any SAP module.
Start with online help.

"Value cannot be null" error when trying to edit or create Maintenance Plan in SQL Server 2008
I have SQL Server 2008 installed on Windows Server 2008 64bit, every time I try to open or create a new Maintenance Plan I receive the error:
Value cannot be null.

I have searched for a possible solution and have tried some suggestions of registering the msxml6.dll but and have installed VS2008 SP1 but I'm not in a position where I can do a full reinstall of SQL Server right now. Any help is appreciated. My SQL server

Operating System 6.0.6002I digged a little deeper and figured out it was a missing directory/file in %TEMP%. Seems some CleaningTool removes all files/directories in %Temp% and after that SSMS was not working any longer. The missing file is actually not needed, but the
missing directory causes the "Value cannot be null" error.
My missing file name was:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\2\6vvdaozf.tmp
But the file name changes on every startup.
So my missing directory name was:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\2
After creating a empty directory with the name "2" in %TEMP% all went back to work fine for me.
I'm not sure the directory name is every time the same, but you can discover your missing file with the process monitor from Sysinternal Tools and filters to "Process Name is ssms.exe" and "Path contains AppData\Local\Temp"
Hope this helps other people to solve their issues too.
Thank you!! When I run %temp% it takes me to "C:\Users\Admin ...~\AppData\Local\Temp\some random number". At first the random number was 3, after I logged off and back on it was 2. My temp variable in enviromental variables is correct. I looked on another machine
running SQL2008 and temp is correct there. If I try to rename the numbered folder SSMS stops working. Any idea? -

The maintenance is to "trim" floated
threads and boards (not subscriptions) for all users in the community. This means that if
you floated a thread more than 3 months
ago, we would remove the float for you. In
long-standing communities like ours, users can build up many floats that can affect the performance of the entire
community.
In order to keep the floats that are important
to you, you just need to unfloat:

I must stress that there is no guarantee that this will have a noticeable benefit for performance, but Lithium has recommended that we try this because it has helped other communities in the past.
This maintenance will be performed on January 15, 2008.

Wrong user ID appearing in entered by field of planned Maintenance Orders

Only few planned orders those are generating from maintenance plan (Having order types PM02 and PM05 for QM Inspection plan), Instead of user ID system is being taken a code in entered by field as {IP1020100416 It looks like the combination of IP10 scheduling T-code of Maintenance plan and 020100416 = 16042010 is the created on date of Maintenance order}
Please advise, what should I do to bring user ID instead of above shown code?This is the Batch input : Group name (contains the session name). It is not specific to any user. This is helpful in listing down all the maintenance call objects that the system generated during deadline monitoring.
In the field Entered by, enter the group name that the system proposes on the initial screen of the date monitoring session.
IP1019950101 --> All maintenance orders from January 1, 1995
IP10199501 --> All maintenance orders in January 1995
This is helpful when background scheduling is activated for Maintenance Plan.
To View which User was responsible for the Scheduling of the maintenance Plans, View the Transaction IBIPA, give the user name it would list all of the Sessions run by this user and the Group Names for the correponding sessions.
