Prior to this Increase Capacity for Outbound Network Calls update, my Azure websites experienced occasional connection attempt failed errors as posted
here. Since this update the errors stopped but starting on 12/30/14, these errors started up again"
"A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond [IP]:80"
It occurs when attempting to consume an external web service over HTTP. This issue is not reproducible on our local environments nor did it occur with our previous shared hosting provider. On Azure, the same web service call can result in this error or will
return a response successfully. There doesn't appear to be any pattern as to why the same call would work one time but not another.
Please review and resolve as before. Thanks.

next saturday, 19th january 2008, SDN will be down for maintenance starting at 9:00 CET, estimated duration: 2-4 hours.
We will change the central fileserver and need to shutdown all SDN scenarios. Reason for the change is to stabilize the most critical component of the SDN landscape, which was responsible for some outages you might have noticed in the near past.

The Systems are back and upgraded to SPS3. We have released a new cloudshare image - when you logon to cloudshare, you will be prompted to "revert to current snapshot" by a red page header. Please revert to the latest snapshot if you want to use the new Studio and Client, but be aware that reverting to a new snapshot will invalidate all local changes you have applied to your desktop. This includes installations of frontend tools, files you saved to the cloudshare desktop and your system connections in HANA. So please backup your data before reverting and have your HANA credentials handy
Here's the new features:
- HANA DB, Studio and Client drivers upgraded to 1.00.20.355749 (SPS3)
- Installed SBOP Analysis MS Office (aka AAO) 1.2
- We've added an FTP server to our environment to make it easier and faster for you to upload data to the server. Upload your CSV/CTL files to ftp.sapdevcenter.com - please create a subdirectory for your username to avoid name clashes. Once data is uploaded to the ftp server, you can LOAD FROM '/dropbox/<your subdirectory>/<your file>'

ECatalog for SRM - Planned Maintenance

Hi all,
Currently, I have a requirement to develop an eCatalog for Planned Maintenance (PM) Order. For each PM order, there will be list of components need to be purchased from Vendor. When user click on 'Catalog' button (toolbar below of Component tab), it will prompt up a dialog box for user to key-in Catalog ID based on Plant and Maintenance Type, and direct the user to a vendor's catalog page (Internet browser like), where user can select the desired components for maintenance usage.
Also, I notice that SAP version 4.7 only cater one Catalog as a standard, is there anyway to cater multiple catalogs instead (any BADI or user exits to achieve this)?
The major challege for this development will be:
- Multiple Catalogs
- UoM Mapping (from Vendor's UoM to SAP UoM)
- Product Category (from Vendor's Product Category to SAP Material Group)
- Log file of each transaction (for trouble-shooting purpose, so that user can identify which part of the error occurs)
I understand the above can be configured and development of BADI will be involved, however, I'm totally new to this eCatalog development. Hence, I would appreciate if someone can shed some light based on the requirement.

I'm able to create multiple catalog for Planned Maintenance (TCODE IW32) in R/3 (4.6c), and it has working fine.

When you say that the "search bar for my iTunes library no longer works" can you be more specific? The operation of the search function has changed in iTunes 12, essentially having two very distinct modes:
when Search Entire Library is checked, entering a search string will generate a dropdown of all matching items within your whole library, from which multiple operations are available via context menus
when Search Entire Library is unchecked, entering a search string creates a filtered view of whatever your current focus is (e.g., if you're looking at a playlist the filter applies only to items in that playlist) with none of the dropdown options as in the first case

Query , logical DB or report about plan maintenance and functional location

Hi,
I've to do a report about a list of plan maintenance. I've to show the functional location affected by the plans but in the table MPOS the field TPLNR doesn't exist.
But I have maintenance plans that affects to functional location only. I've not found any useful logical database or report to show this information.
Could anybody help to me?

Table MPOS- Field ILOAN
First take the ILOAN from ILOA table by object reference is 2 (Field: OWNER) in output.
Then put the Loc/acct assignment value at input of the MPOS table which is u received from ILOA table

Authentication and Debugging not working -- since Saturday, July 12

Hi everyone,
Since Saturday (July 12), the iTunes U launcher that my institution uses (a Moodle block) has ceased successfully authenticating users. From all the looking I've done, nothing has changed from our side, although I am having to do the investigation remotely, and can only be about 95% certain of that so far.
I'm also not able to use the debug string to see what credentials are being sent to iTunes U, because there appears to be no difference in the launcher process, whether debugging is enabled or not.
Is anyone aware of any changes or glitches in the system in the last few days? Any information at all will be very greatly appreciated.

Woolamaloo is an application specifically designed to access your iTunes U site without any CGI, BlackBoard or Moodle building blocks, etc. It accesses your site directly ... using any credential you supply. In effect, you can use it to "be" any user at your site. It can even show you Apple's debug webpage (if you want to see it). You can use Woolamaloo to verify that your site is not working ... or that it is and you have a local problem. You can find out and download the app here:

I have an external drive hooked up to a ruby red iMac year 2001 (Tiger 10.4.11) that's online via Aiport (using Wifi "b" flavor, neither "g" nor "n").
I am on an iMac (lamp style, year 2003 with Tiger 10.4.11) connected with Ethernet to the router. The external drive from the ruby red iMac is mounted.
I want to save/open a file to/from that mounted drive (I'm in the open/save dialog). In list view I see as modification date for all files and folders (except on root level) the following:
Saturday, July -2147483642, 41221, 17:00
I then ran Diskwarrior and Techtool on that external drive without errors but the "problem" persists.
The strange thing is, that if I try to reproduce this error, the dates sometimes are showing up normally. However it seems that the system shows first above mentioned weird date, then changes quickly to the normal date. It seems as if the system tries to "translate" a technical date into a human readable date...
Could somebody shed some light on this phenomenon? Is there reason for concern?

I think there is cause, not ever seeing it myself.

My first guess is a RAM issue, but none of the RAM testers can be trusted UNLESS they find a problem, not if they don't find it.

Planned maintenance notifications to MEB

Good Morning Guys
I have been having problems processing planned maintenance notifications when creating revisiom and creating orders from revised revisions.
Am getting two errors
1.Task list A ENG 01: no conversion rule found for work center MA00/1000
2.Error creating order for task list 02000038 4000290 A ENG 01 in revisions
This is what i got from perfomace assistance

The system tried to create an order for main work center MA00/1000 from task

Seems like issue of validity date of Maint. Work Center . If it is, correct it in IR02. and retry.

Ram,
I assume you mean "Plant Maintenance" module.
"Actual Process" Is also a bit misleading. There are many distinct processes within the PM module, just as in any SAP module.
Start with online help.

Wrong user ID appearing in entered by field of planned Maintenance Orders

Hi,
Only few planned orders those are generating from maintenance plan (Having order types PM02 and PM05 for QM Inspection plan), Instead of user ID system is being taken a code in entered by field as {IP1020100416 It looks like the combination of IP10 scheduling T-code of Maintenance plan and 020100416 = 16042010 is the created on date of Maintenance order}
Please advise, what should I do to bring user ID instead of above shown code?

This is the Batch input : Group name (contains the session name). It is not specific to any user. This is helpful in listing down all the maintenance call objects that the system generated during deadline monitoring.
In the field Entered by, enter the group name that the system proposes on the initial screen of the date monitoring session.
IP1019950101 --> All maintenance orders from January 1, 1995
IP10199501 --> All maintenance orders in January 1995
This is helpful when background scheduling is activated for Maintenance Plan.
To View which User was responsible for the Scheduling of the maintenance Plans, View the Transaction IBIPA, give the user name it would list all of the Sessions run by this user and the Group Names for the correponding sessions.
