Can anyone tell me what is the steps to create nodes in NUMAP feature?

GOTO PB04 and create Number range
GOTO PE03 type NUMKR Expand the nodes.
Based on your options for example MOLGA 10 right click on it. give the return value what you create in number range.

Feature NUMAP - Applicant Number Range is not working

Dear Experts,
I have set number range from xx to xx with number 25 (for Applicant Number), and set the NUMAP feature as follow:
Molga:
>>25 Singapore
     >> PERSG (Applicant Group)
          >> Z Outsource Employee
               >> 25 (number range that i have set up earlier)
The problem is whenever i perform initial data entry the applicant always took other number range ( i already choose the Z as the applicant Group and personnel area that correspondence to Singapore). Do I miss something here? Thank you.

First maintain the number range through Transaction code - PB04. Like
No            From Number             To Number                    Current Number        External Number Range
01            000000001                  00001000                                                      Tick th emark if you want external number
Then Maintain your Feature NUMAP.
Country grping- like (25)
Return Value (01) As we have defined in PB04.

& in the table -T526
APPL     P01     Pers Officer - HO
Pl. check it properly as this is the way to maintain the fetuare & table for Personnel officer in Recruitment module.

Applicant number range-NUMAP

We have configured the recruitment and the NUMAP feature is internal starting from 1.
We have performed the initial entry of basic data action, applicant number is generated with 1. but the current number showing as 5 in the number ranges
Again we have performed the same action, then the applicant number generated as 6 and the current number status showing as 10
But it should be generated sequence wise like 1, 2 3 etc why system creating in such a way

Recruitment Question

Hi Friends.....
In my project, we are going to implement som functionality of recruitment for the client.
1. creating applicant numbers by doing initial data entry action
2. Issuance and printing of appointment letters from SAP
3. Linking the vacancy created in OM to the applicant in recruitment.
4. Transferring the applicant data to Personnel administration.
Also, at the time of initial data entry action, we want to capture the proposed joining date which can be edited later at the time of "Hire Applicant" action in PA40.
Also, can anyone please give me the step - by step configuration that needs to be done for the above process to materialize.
Please help...Its really urgent...

In that case, First I will check the table T77S0 and check PPVAC value as 1 for the vacancy created in OM to reflect in Recruitment.
2. Then according to the client requirement i will define the number range for the applicant in PB04 and then in NUMAP feature.
3. Also simultaneoulsy I will define applicant groups and ranges in the system.
(Here, can I delete the existing applicant groups and ranges and define new ones in the following IMG path :
SPRO - Personnel Management - Recruitment - Applicant administration - Applicant structure - Create applicant groups and create applicant ranges.? )
4. After That I will come to initial data entry action. Now first of all , here I want to know that can i change the infogroup for initial data entry action by following this IMG path:
SPRO - PM - Recruitment- Applicant Selection - Applicant actions - change infogroup and select the action as 47 (Initial data entry).
Also, at the time of initial data entry, if I want to store the proposed joining date, as u mentioned i have to get it done through an ABAP development.
But here wat i want to know is that will that proposed joining date reflect in PA40 in editable mode whicle running that action, after applicant data being transferred from Recruitment to PA).
Please answer my queries.

Problem in applicant no range

Hi
I have assigned internal no range for applicants in NUMAP feature.
But in PB10-Initial data entry, SAP system does not assign a no from no. range automatically rather says no range is external, enter a personnel no.
Please help me. It's urgent.

check once again in PB04 NO for ur number range and see if it is marked external or internal and also check yet again if u have assigned correct return value in NUMAP.
Although very basic...sometimes if u forget to generate the feature in which case the changes u made may not have taken affect..

Runtime error while creating applicent initial data in PB10

       in initial data entry in reruitment in PB10 once i complete the entry of data in organization assignment.it is going into ABAP runtime error.

    With reference to your responce i have checked pb04. all that i found is it is not taking the number range that i have assigned in NUMAP feature it is taking other number range.
How should i go further with this.

this might be occur in case there is mismatch of the fields of decision being used in feature maintenance.
check the feature and the return value , wether the return value is correct or not
goto PE03->NUMAP check the return value and check wether the return was configured in number ranges
eg: if the return value is 01 go to your config and check the number range has been set for "01"
you gave return value as "01" and the number range has not been set in configuaration for "01" this kind of error s may occur.

Feature NUMAP - MOLGA as decision field

I need use MOLGA as decision field for the feature NUMAP, but it always goes to the other node of this feature. Any idea why this is happening? How is the value of Molga determined for an applicant?

To get Molga as decision field,
Go to tcode pe03. Enter NUMAP in the feature field.
Click on "Change" icon.
Now in the screen "Process feature NUMAp: decision tree" click on "go to" -> Structure. You will get info "care when changing structure". Press enter. Now select MOLGA and save.
Noe check feature NUMAP to add MOLGA.

NUMAP Problem in PB10

hi all,
while going for recruitment action in R/3 release 4.7, I am facing an error in PB10(initial entry of applicant data), where it is showing: "NUMAP was called with incorrect parameter value PME15" and Runtime error is showing. I have checked everything from vacancy creation, advertisement done, number range assignment done, features done. In NUMAP my decision tree is showing activated and error free. So, I am in a fix as to what to do? Can anyone suggest a solution to this?? PLEASE do this ASAP, as it is very urgent.......

Then assigned value of my number range (created earlier), then checked for error: result is error free and then activated.
Pls let me know the solutions. I have done all kinds of R&D also, like adding the BUKRS in the decision tree to localize my number range.

when i created an organisation and when i try to make initial entry in the case of recruitment PB10 that time an error message iscominglike " Feature NUMAP was called with incorrect parameter value PME15"
what to do with this and what it is for

i created PERSG (1 active external) my applicant group node under the country node then PERSK applicant range and assign return value of (the range number ) is it the way to do it na?
i checked for error no error is showing

Softphone feature for Cisco Jabber Client

Hello everyone,
I have a CUCM cluster v.8.6.2 and a CUPS v.8.6.4. I've installed my full CUWL licenses as well as my CUP Licenses AND the Jabber for Everyone COP file. I've managed to install Jabber on Mac and on Windows and have all the features such as Chat, Desktop phone integration and Visual Voicemail with Cisco Unity Connection working as well. The only feature I'm having a huge hassle getting to work is the Softphone feature. I've tried adding a CUPC device with the user (btw everything is integrated and uses LDAP for authentication) as the digest account for it as well as the Owner ID. I've tried adding a CSF device as well (I remember reading it somewhere) but the Jabber client never discovers a Softphone device and all of the options on the client are grayed out for me to put in the device settings. I thought I saw it once looking for a device name CSFACILLI (ACILLI being my username) in the System Diagnostics for the Jabber for Mac client but now it just shows:

It looks like it's trying to get CTLFile.tlv from my TFTP servers (which are my subscribers). I went under TFTP File Management under OS Administration on the Subscribers and no such file exists. Is this something I have to download from Cisco? It does look like it's trying for the correct device, just can't get the Configuration File it needs... Your thoughts?

HT1925 I get a message saying The feature I am trying to use is on a network resource that is unavalable when I try to open iTunes.

When I try to open iTunes a widow appears called Windows Installer. It tells me that the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavalable. It tell me to Click OK or try again or enter an alternative path to a folder containing the intallation package iTunes.msi. I suggests I should find this in a drop down box in the window. There is a box but no folder iTunes.msi. If I click the cancel button iTunes will open and work. I wish to uninstall iTunes and then reinstall it. I am finding that I can play music on iTunes OK through my sound card but if I try to play streamed music from the web in YouTube and fom My Space the music is a poor quality with crackles and distortion. Other forums suggest uninstalling iTunes and then re-installing it. I ahve tried to uninstall iTunes but it comes up with the Window noted above and then stops. I need to stop the crackle when streaming music. Please help.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

SmartWebPrinting.msi feature I am trying to use is on a network that is unavailable how do i fix it?

I have bee having problems with SmartWebPrinting.msi it keeps loading up everytime i try to get on the internet or open one of my programs on my computer these are the mesges I am recieving from it: 1. the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. 2. Enter an alternate path to a folder containing the instalation package 'SmartWebPrinting.msi in the box below. 3. An installation package for the product SmartWebPrinting.msi cannot be found try the installation again using a valid copy of the installation package SmartWebPrinting. msi. I am unable to load a web page correct and pages are missing and I cannot view web pages. and it wont go away and i put in the cd and it still keeps saying the same thing What do I do?

Try uninstalling Smart Web Printing using the instructions in this document:

1. Expand the + sign next to: How do I upgrade from HP Smart Web Printing to HP Smart Print
2. Follow the steps under: Step one: Uninstall HP Smart Web Printing software (and then expand the + sign next to the operating system you are using)
You can then install HP Smart Print (which has the same features as Smart Web Printing) if you have a need for this software (following the instructions in this document).

Ok, I used to be able to open links up in a new Tab using my middle mouse button. However, I updated firefox with the automatic Updates on the 26th of October and now I no longer can open links with my middle mouse button. Why? I use this feature just about every time I go searching on the internet so I really would like it back. I couldn't find anything that it was related to in the options so I turn this over to you guys.
