  • Can't close old production order

    Hello,
First, yes, I know this question has been posted many times.  I have checked to make sure the order is in TECO status.  I have checked COGI, CO1P and COFC.  Please read my comments and let me know if you can help.
We are trying to clean up old production orders that, for whatever reason, weren't closed when they should have been.  We have many examples like this one.  We run CO44 at the end of the month to close open production orders.  When we run this on certain orders we get the error "unprocessed future change recs for order XXXXXX prevent del. flag/completion.
The order is in TECO status.
We have checked COGI, no errors.
We have checked CO1P, no errors.
When we run COFC we get an error from 2004:
The dummy profit center was available in 2004 and we can't find any log or reason that it might have been "locked" on that date, but I suppose it is possible.
I revoked the TECO on the order and entered a profit center that has been valid for the entire period of the order and still is today.  I saved and re-TECO'd the order.
I then tried to set the order to closed and got the very same error message.
All of my searches come back with the same answers, check COGI, CO1P and COFC and make sure the order is in TECO status.
How do I clear the issue with the profit center so that this order can be closed?
    Thanks in advance,
    Andrea

    Hi Andrea
The error is still comming because there were confirmations posted with this incorrect profit center.
Technically, the error must be cleared directly on COFC before closing the order. However, since this is a very old order I believe that this record is not relevant anymore.
There is no standard tool to delete COFC records, as it may lead to errors on CO, however, for such particular cases where the record is very old and it is not possible to process it anymore, SAP provides a report to delete the entry. This report, however, is not available on any note and it is provided on request, through an OSS.
Therefore, you must open an OSS incident to SAP and request a report to delete COFC entries.

  • Reprocessing old production orders

I've been working with transaction CP01 to fix old production orders that contained components that were not properly backflushed or posted. How can I remove items from the CP01 log that have already been posted? There are items on the list from the past 3 years that are out of the current fiscal/posting period. How can I remove those errors?
In other words, how can I remove errors in CP01 without reprocessing them?

CP01 refers to creating Business Processes that comes under Activity Based Costing. Probably you are refering to COGI errors. Please refer to [documentation here|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/EN/b1/c04d1b439a11d189410000e829fbbd/content.htm] for dealing with such errors. The treatment for individual errors depends on each case.

  • Production order confirmation date & time not matching with MB51.

    Hi All,
We are facing a problem when we confirm production order in a local time zone but when we go and check the material document MB51 , we find the posting date and time is showing System date and time and not the local date and time - in the month end we are facing the problems in reports preperation.
Please find the example as below-
    Step-1
I do confirmation of Production order 101939015 for the Plant 2041
on 03/12/2007 at 11:39:33 ( USER TIME ZONE),
    Step-2
Now go to the MB51 (Material document list)and check the posting time
    - here the posting date and time is 03/11/2007 & 23:39:37. ( SYSTEM TIME ZONE.)
    Material Document Number : 4909412794
From the above example we can see that the production order was confirmed in USER TIME ZONE ,but the document was posted in SYSTEM TIME ZONE, which is not acceptable to the USER, as in the month-end he is not getting the correct Reports. User wants a harmonized date & time.
Can anybody give some solution its very urgent.
    Nitin.

    Hi Nitin,
Can you check the confirmation time in the system by displaying confirmation and then there look for "Admin" data.
Also let us know whether Confirmation/Goods Movment is online update or run in background as job?
Please let us know your findings,

  • How to restrict the GR for Production Order when Goods Issue is not done

    Hi Gurus
How to restrict the GR for Production Order when all the required components for production order are not issued with all required quantity. Even for partial issue system should not allow GR with 101. The user status with RMWA, RMWF & CGFB is not working.
    Pls suggest best solution.
    Abhijit.

    Hi,
You can club together the GI nad GR at the time of confirmation..
I.e Backflush for the components and auto GR for the Product.
So that you can stream line the Process.
The best Option would be to use the User Exit:
    Enhancement - MBCF0002
    Functional Module - EXIT_SAPMM07M_001
    Include - ZXMBCU02
Refer below link for further details..

  • Production order creation - posting period is not open

    Dear All,
Could you please explain me what the impact on CO/FI is when I create a production oder? Indeed, the posting period is not open in OB52 but I am wondering why the System issues this message when I use CO01 or CO40.
    Thanks
    D.

    Hi d,
Whenever a production order is created or converted to planned orders, each of these orders carries some activities
which are linked to cost elements in CO and GL accounts in FI.  The system gives you an alert that if posting periods
are not open you cannot settle the production order.  If production order is pending that results in Work in progress
which carries gl accounts relevant to be posted in the particular period.

  • Old Purchase orders and template - Price Information not taken into account

    Hi experts,
In MDM catalog, I have a product with 'Price Information' and with 'Contract price'. I create a shopping cart with the 'Price Information'.
Then, I create another shopping cart using the anterior througth the functionality 'Old Purchase orders and template'.
The price taken into account is the 'Contract Price'
    Is this the standard procedure?
    Thanks in advance,
    R Silva

as far as i know the price preference is in this order
    1. Contract price
    2. Purchase Info record
    3. list price
so in that case - this is standard procedure
you can confirm - by doing the same process for an item that  has ONLY price information (list price) and see if that price is copied from old to new SC

  • In the Production Order, Sales Quotation is displayed not the Sales Order

    Hello to All,
I need a kind help from you.
    My scenario is as follows
There is a Configurable Material (Finished Product)
Sales quotation (VA21/2/3) were made for this material.
Sales Order (VA01/2/3) with reference from the Sales Quotation were made for this same material.
Now when I run the MRP (MD02) for this material, Planned Orders were created.
Planned orders were converted to the Production Order.
In the Production Order (say in Display mode), under the 'General' tab, there is a segment called 'Sales order'. In this segment, the sales order is being displayed if the Production Order is created for a sales order (MTO scenario).
But, in my case, the Sales Quotation number is being displayed instead of the Sales order.
My Issue which need your answers:
Is it a standard SAP scenario?? I mean, if the production order is created for a sales order and again if the sales order is created earlier with reference to a sales quotation, then in the production order, the Sales quotation is displayed. Is it a standard?? Or it is showing wrongly? I mean, is it like that, always the sales order should be displayed in the Production order and not the sales quotation??
Please suggest so that I can overcome this problem, if at all it is a problem.
Some More Inputs (For your analysis/research):
    1. After the MRP run of the material the Planned Order is created. I have checked the planned order, and found tha the assignment of sales document (in this case Quotation) is done in the Planned order itslef. It is visible wthin the "Assigmnet" tab of the Planned Order.
    2. For the analysis purpose, I created one stand-alone Sales Order for the same material. I mean, without reference from any Sales Quotation. Then, when I run the MRP (md02), the Planned Order and then production order were created normally, with reference to the Sales order. This just for your kind information.
    3. I have checked the pegged requirement of the Production order in the MD04. It is showing the Sales order itself. But, if I see the production order (CO02/O03), it shows sales quotation.
    User Requirement:
Evenif, the sales order is created with reference to a Sales Quotation, after MRP run, in the Planned and thereby subsequent production order, the Sales Order should display and not the Sales quotation.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Supriyo

    Hi
Since your scenario is configurable material,  the system takes the reference of sales quotation only. Because the in case of configurable materials the sales quotation is the base and based on the sales quotation the sales order is created and subsequent production order.
This is std SAP and for configurable materials the sales quotation is deciding factor

  • Report of List of all status changes for various production orders at a tim

    Hi,
Can I have a standard report which shows the dates of each and every status (user & system) of a production order.
I need to have a report for a list of productio orders at a time.
If we go to CO03, header menu, status changes option is there, but it only caters for single production order.
Table JCDS is available to know the dates but I need a standard one rather than a Z development.
Or you can guide me any function module.
    Thanks,
    Kumar

    Hello,
You will get the details of status in following table.
    JEST - for object status
    JSTO - Status Profile
TJ02T - to Decode the status Number
as the status data you will get from JEST is in very typical form you have to use TJ02T to find the exact status

  • Missing part list is incomplete while creating Production Order and 2 components are not shown in the list.

    Hi Team,
We are facing issue for availability check. During creation of Production order, the missing part list is not complete and it should show componenet A in the Missing part list. Below is the details:
    Production Order quantity: 100 kg
Componenet A required quantity: 100 kg
    MMBE Unrestricted qty: 1000 kg
    MMBE Reserved Quantity: 2000 kg
So as per above figures component A should come as missing part during availability check. But it is not coming as missing part. Please check and give your inputs.

    Hello
The results of availability check should NEVER be compared with MMBE. As already mentioned, transaction CO09 is more appropriate.
Also, this issue has been already discussed on hundreds of threads in the past. See some examples below:
Problem with missing parts list during production order creation
issue in committing material for production order
Material Availibility check in Production orders
    availability check
    order is not released
As it is stated on the The SCN Rules of Engagement you should do some research before opening a thread. Therefore, please use the search tool or even google to search for similar problems before opening a thread.

  • Actual production order final confirmation time

    Dear all,
Could you please let me know who i can get the actual time a production order was finally confirmed? I know we have the production order statuses history chnage but were is it stored?
    BR and many thanks

    Hi Mikel,
Pass order number AUFNR to AUFK and fetch OBJNR.
Pass the AUFK-OBJNR to table JCDS to fetch the status STAT, changed date UDATE and
changed time UTIME where INACT = blank.
Pass the JCDS-STAT to table TJ02 and fetch TXT30 status text.
Filter the data with respective to TXT30 = CNF and accordingly get UTIME from JCDS.
    Pre-requisite config:
Date related data in table JCDS will be updated only upon selecting the Status change
documents in OPL8/COR4 under implementation tab.
Revert if you have any issues.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • What is the residence time?

    I all,
I need to delete and archive a production order, but when I run the program PPARCHP1 for setting the delection flag inddicator the log given by the system is:  "Residence time 1 not exceeded"
How can I change the residence time?!
    Thanks,
    Valentina

    Hi,
Reorganizing an object (e.g. order, project) normally requires three steps:
    1. Setting the delete flag (can be reset)
    2. Setting the final deletion indicator (cannot be reset)
    3. Reorganizing (writing the object to a sequential dataset and physically deleting it from the system)
Residence time 1 determines the time interval (in calendar months) that must elapse between setting the delete flag (step 1) and setting the deletion indicator (step 2).
Residence time 2 determines the time (in calendar months) that must elapse between setting the deletion indicator (step 2) and reorganizing the object (step 3).
Tcode to change the residence time is OPJH.

  • In Production Order Old Raw Material Batch No. not being picked (FIFO)

    Hi,
We have activated Batch Management for ROH type of Materials with Split Valuation and the Strategy applied is FIFO.
We have generated many such batches and consumed too, but lately out of many ROH mateials, 2 ROH who have Old Batches are not being picked and the Batch which is recently created is being picked at the time of Production Order Release.
We have not done any changes into the Master Data nor the config during this period.
Can anyone help what can be the issue ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Harris Panchal

    Hi,
Actually our requirement is that we want to sort out the Batch as per the Earliest one and consume the earliest first, i.e. FIFO strategy.
For that the MM Consultant has configured the following Charac:
    1. Stock Determination: Priority
    2. Value Assignment Type
    3. Batch Number
Which I am feeling should be changed and to be as per the following:
    1. Created On
    2. Batch Number
In OMCV, Classification is active with following option:
4     Classification in foreground for new batches only for the following movements: 101, 309, 310, 561
3     Classification always in foreground (all batches)   for the following movements: 321, 501
    Requesting your valuable inputs,
    Thanks and regards,
    Harris

  • Open TRs not getting deleted after TECO production order

    Hi,
We're having an issue.  We're using WMPP interface to supply the production line for the production orders.  The auto TRs are generated when the production orders are released.
After TECO the production orders, the open TRs are not getting deleted automatically.
Could anyone know if these TRs get deleted automatically when we do the TECO production order?
If yes, do we have any restriction or condition based on this, the TRs get deleted?
    Please explain.
    Thank you.
    with regards,
    Muthu.

    Hi Abhijit,
Thank you for your reply.  It does not help me.
The auto TR creation is happening now as required.  No issue on this.
When you do the TECO, it also cancels the TRs.  I tested this also.
There're some scenario this open TRs cancellation is not happening.  I do not know when these open TRs are not cancelled.  If you know answer for this, please let me know.
Thank you for your help and time.
    with regards,
    Muthu.
