On deployment, Param window says"The report requested requires further info

Development environment has Windows 7 VS2010 with Crystal Service pack 2 (just upgraded). The web application is .Net 3.5 32bit. The production environment is windows 2003 - IIS6.0. The target database is SQL Server express 2008 .
On the page load, the database logon info is applied. Session variable is used for persistence. This is working fine on the development side. On the Production side, the report cannot be loaded and it prompts for the parameters with the logon info. The logon info has been applied to the tables in the report dynamically.
I have upgraded to the latest service pack in the hope to fix this issue. Also the Cancel button on the parameter window does not show on development or production. I downloaded the modules utility to check the difference in the loaded dll's and found out that
CRYSTALDECISIONS.REPORTAPPSERVER.PROMPTING.dll gets loaded on development but does not get loaded on production.... Help please!

Yes, You are right about the SQL Server Native Client Driver. The 32 bit driver was installed on the deployment machine ( Windows 2003 server 32 bit with SQL Server 32 bit ).
But the development machine is window 7 64 bit with 64 bit sql server. On the development machine the driver is SQLNCLI10 installed but Crystal Reports is refrencing SQLNCLI even if the SQL Server Native CLient 10 is selected. I am not sure why it is doing that. Any ideas??
Current status is that after installing Crystal Reports 2008 on deployment machine, changed the driver to SQLNCLi10.dll, the reports are working.
But reports cannot be deployed directly from development machine to deployment machine... the driver needs to be changed on the deployment server. The SQLNCLI10 (64bit) is present on the devlopment machine. Do I need to install the 32bit version of the SQL Server Native Client 10. Any ideas about this?

You need to uninstall the Community / Conduit toolbar add-on.
Locate the files in bold print and move them to the Trash. The first five are in your root /Library

There are, but not with a DVD written as a movie disk. It must be closed when completed, or it doesn't work.
Apple's built in Burn utility also automatically closes any data CD, DVD or Blu-ray disk you burn. Doesn't matter how much space is unused, you can't use it. You'd have to use a more advanced disk creation app, such as Toast Titanium. I then have the option of choosing to write the data as a session:
I can keep doing this until the disk is full. If I've written five sessions to the disk, when I put it in the drive, five CD/DVD icons will appear on the desktop since the OS will treat each session as if they are separate physical disks. At any point you choose Write Disk when writing a group of data, that means you're closing the disk, and again can't add anything after that. So if I had written two sessions, and the third was Write Disk, it's over. I can't put anything else on that disk.

I have searched through forums for a solution but none seem to work for me.
I have an ASP Webform/MySql application which displays Crystal Reports.
The ones which do not require a user to enter a parameter display fine and I am able to click on export on the CR toolbar and download, e.g. .pdf format.
On the report that require a user to enter a parameter, the report renders fine but when I click on the export button, i get the prompt:
"The report you requested requires further information"
asking for DB login credentials. How can I avoid this?

This is because almost any action on the viewer result sin a postback. This includes paging, zooming, drilling exporting and printing. E.g.; you will have to place the report in session. See the following KB for how to:

And you changed the format of BOOTCAMP which was FAT32 to NTFS
Windows 7 - I would not try to install on a partition smaller than 50GB for 64-bit version, probably 40GB for 32-bit, and you never want to go with less than double what the minimum.
You need to remove the partition Boot Camp Assistant and create a larger partition.
There is a busted "download drivers" but as you know by now, that has NEVER worked and yet here we are 9 months later and no confirmation or fix.

It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

I have developed a simple report (crystal XI) and deployed to Crystal server. When viewing the report, the user is asked to login to database with ID/password. The report works well in dev environment. The report is not called programmatically via VB, C#, ASP, ... therefore I cannot set ID/password in source code.
I am looking for a dialog screen within dev environment that allows me to force the report to keep the ID/password with it and use it to connect to DB at runtime.

Well, you can relax... BOTH of the "infections" it lists ( a "Rootkit" and a "Trojan").... WON'T run on a Mac, so you KNOW it's a fake. There's NO WAY it could have detected WIndows malware on a system running OS X.
I'd stay away from that Facebook page, and report it to them.

Windows says the itunes download file is corrupt and will not install

Im trying to install itunes on my new windows 8 pc. It seems to recognize my software and takes me to a download the 64 bit file (iTunes64Setup.exe). Once the download completes, the file appears in my windows download manager with the message "The signature of this program is corrupt or invalid". If I right click and chose install anyway, I get a message saying that Windows prevented this from running.
I then found the 32bit download file (iTunesSetup.exe). I get the same results as above. Any ideas how to fix this?

I get that all the time with all sorts of programmes. I normally shut down my pc, unplug it, wait for the light to go out on the back, plug back in reboot and it works (with most of my downloads) try this, it might fix it, it might not. I tried this the other day after it kept telling me it was corrupt, then it came down and installed fine. I do this now with every update of every program, if I forget they will all say they have an 'invalid signature' or 'corrupt from source file' etc. Hope this helps you. Also I have to do this before I download music as well, because otherwise it seems to come down with the stupid DRM still on the file, meaning I can't put it on my ipod, convert it or even play it on my system.

Got confused between your header question about a wired mouse and the main question about a wireless mouse. You said your magic mouse was frozen and added you do not have a wireless mouse. Problem is ... the magic mouse is wireless. The original mighty mouse was the corded version.
The wired mouse is a regular problem. After two to three years it tends to clog up. You can clean it (to a degree) as follows.
Using an alcohol moistened, not wet, cotton bud, scratch at the mouse ball for a minute or so. Then turn it upside down and on a clean piece of thick white paper or card on a firm surface, vigorously rub the mouse ball on the paper in a regular figure of eight. Do this for a minute or so and occasionally tap the mouse on the paper. This will help dislodge bits of fluff etc. Then try again

Drill to link - How can integrate the new browser window inside the report

Hi, I'm using Discoverer Plus/Viewer 10.1.2.48.18 and I just created successfully a "Drill to Link to an Internet Page" related to my field "Ticket Id"
So, when, from Viewer, I select the link, a new tab from a new browser session is opend and I see all the details related to the Ticket Id chosen.
This is right because on the manual is written:
Discoverer behaves as follows: if you drill out to an Internet page, Discoverer displays the Internet page in a new browser window.
Now my question is this: is there a way or a workaround to integrate the new browser window's content inside my report ?
In other words, instead to see the all the Ticket id details (graphs included) in a new browser window, my customer asked me to see these details inside the same report, just below the field with the link.
Any help will be appreciated

MP3 link won't open on a website using Ubuntu 14.04, window say the file is corrupt but it works onb other computers just fine and worked on this computer using

Had Ubuntu 12.04 and upgraded to Ubuntu 14.04 and now when trying to open an MP3 audio link on a website that used to work, now I get an error message that says file is corrupt. Using Firefox browser that is up to date. What now? The file opens fine in Documents with VLC Player.
