Operation Timings confirmed during REM Backflush

Dear All,
In the REM scenario when we do the Assembly back flush, we do the component correction and post actual activities... Now is that the component consumption - required quantity against the withdrawal quantity can be viewed through MCRP standard report.. similarly do we have any report to view the activities confirmed for that material ....
Please guide me through....

Hii JH ,
Thanks for the reply.. The latter two things , MFBF is the transaction where we confirm the actual activities and components consumption. and i am interested to see only the results of those...
As per your recommendation the third Report KRMI is the one which i get in the currency values and also the component usage..  But for the component consumption analysis , i have MCRP and here i get all the components that are used with the target quantity and withdrawal quantitiy and the issued value also...
Like this i want it for the activity confirmation which we have defined in particular for the work center with the standard values assigned to it... for instant if we have say six parameters of which first four are measured in Hours and the last two are measured in Kgs.. i want to capture all the values for the  particular material for the particular date.....
In the first two reports, i dont see any data available .... but in MCRP, i have got all the data...
Could you kindly rectify if am wrong somewhere and guide me in getting the solution please...

  • Operationwise confirmation in REM

How to do operationwise confirmation in REM through MFBF to get actual cost of each operation.
Aso can I issue raw material against planned order or against reservation in REM like in discrete?
    Thanks
    sudhakar

    Dear,
You need to go for reporting point backflush.
Individual operations which are having the control key for the milestone confirmation you can confirm in MFBF
You can carry out a reporting point backflush at every operation defined as a milestone in the routing. In the repetitive manufacturing profile, you can reporting point backflush.

  • Incorrect routing in REM Backflush

    Hi Experts,
While doing REM Backflush, after clicking "Actual activities", system is showing previously deleted operations and not showing the added newly added operations, hence these activities are coming in Actual cost.
Where as in preliminary cost estimation, consider the operation correctly .
REM profile is defined with " Post Activities  -  Using data from prelim. costing f. product Cost collector "
    Thanks.

    Dear Himakar,
A rate routing is a routing for repetitive manufacturing. It enables you to easily reproduce the lean
production process. In the rate routing, the production rate per operation is defined (production time
according to a base quantity). *Set-up time is not usually defined, since no changes to setup are
    planned.*
So its not required to mention any value for set up time ,so that its not considered for costing and the
    other processes.

  • Component should not be made available for backflush during final Backflush

    Hi,
In REM Scenario, during final backflush system explodes and proposes all components in the header material for GI backflush. Is there any way we can restrict certain materials not to appear for GI backflush and that can be posted at later time.
your thought and suggestion is well appreciated.
    regards,
    ppcon

    Hi,
Suppose componenet stock is less at the time of backflush. Now you can do backflush, after that you can clear the error (goods mvt) in COGI.
    OR
You can do GI later for all components after doing backflush. The setting is available in REM profile. But for certain material not possible.

  • Component quantity control in PP-REM backflush

    Hi all,
We are fancing the following scenario: a FERT material X is "produced" just packing toegheter 4 units of other FERTs materials X1..X4, without restriction of quantities from each material Xn in the pack. That means a unit of X can be made from 1 unit X1, 1 unit X2, 1 unit X3 and unit X4; and another unit of X can be made of 3 units X2 and 1 unit X4. The only restriction is a unit of X must contain 4 units of Xn.
Is there a way to control this packing scenario through REM backflush? I've created BoM, routings and production version for material X, but i can't find where to control components quantities as descrived.
Thanks in advance for ideas o guidelines in this issue...
    mr.

    Dear Manuel,
1.I'm not sure how this can be addressed through packing materials, but assume you have created 2 different BOM one
containing 1x1,1x2,1x3,1x4 and the other one containing 3x2 and 1x4.
2.Create 2 different production versions one assigned with alternative BOM 01 and the second production version containing
    second alternative BOM 02.
3.Create REM profile allowing to backflush using preleminary cost estimate using T code OSP2 and error correction mandatory.
4.Create 2 different product cost collectors for each production version.
5.While backflushing the system picks the BOm components as per the production version and allow to confirm the product.
    Check and revert

  • How to confirm operation wise confirmation.

    Hi,
please tell me how to confirm operation wise confirmation in details.
           Thanks
            parag

    Hi Parag,
Confirmation against a production order can be done in 2 ways :
    1. Confirmation against each operation of an Order can be done  in Tcode : CO11 /CO11N
    2. Order Confirmation can be done in Tcode : CO15.
My understanding about your problem is you want to confirm operation wise and the procedure for the same is goto Tcode : CO11N and enter the production order number and Operation number say 0010 and enter the Yield/ Scrap qty and save it. If there are any components assigned to operation 0010 as back flush in routing / order, then system will consume those bom items with movement type 261. You can check the components which are assigned to this operation with backflush in teh goods movement Tab screen in Tcode : CO11N itself.
Next Enter the Prod order number and the next operation number say 0020 and enter the same yield qty as operation 0010  or different qty and save it. If any back flush items are assigned to this operation then on saving system does goods issue (with movt type 261) for those items.
After saving you can check the goods movement in the prodution order Tcode : CO03. Goto document goods movement s and chk the same. For showing this the order type dependent parameters should be configured for the same.

  • Background Job in COGI(REM Backflush error handling)

    Hi Everyone.
    I have one question.
Our company use REM Backflush .
And Our REM profile setting is next.
    - Use GI Backflush at GR posting
    - Don't use report point backflush
    - Create cumulated and individual postprocessing record
In this circumstance, we use T-code COGI to process backflush error.
When I execute the COGI in online, There is no problem
<b>But, After I make a job for background in sm37, When I execute background gob for COGI, There is a problem. In real, Background gob is will executed. But COGI errors remain as before.</b>

    Hi,
    Actually you should use
    Transaction          MF47
Program              RMSERI11, for post process record.
For post processing , manually entry like storage location and Batch number(if batch management is enabled) is required , if the post process record is created according to this error.
And hence it is not possible to correct all the records by background job.
    Thanks

  • Final Product stage confirmation in REM or Discrete?

hi we have decided to go with REM for one manfacturing process in this final product is not going to be dispatched as it will be packed and final packed item will be dispatched so for final item entry in system can i use same REM backflush (MFBF) for packing material+SFG for final packed item or i need to create manual production order for final item?
and Is there any impact if i go with REM?
    Thanks

    Hi,
it depends on how you want to settle the cost on the product, you can go for REM if you want to settle the cost on periodic basis i.e. monthly.
if you want to settle the cost by batch wise, then go for prod.order.

  • CO11N operation wise confirmation inconsistency

    Hi all,
I have a scenario like, 8 operations with last operation milestone confirmation in a production order. Letz say we have 500 as total target quantity and in operation 0010 they confirmed all 500 and from operation 0020 onwards they do partial confirmation say 20, 20, etc. At operation 0040 if they have yield of 19, they enter remaining 1 as quality notification (unplanned scrap)and continue to confirm next operation. In operation 0050 they have to enter yield as 19 only even though yield as 20 'coz they have opn adherence check (OPK4) active. As expected SAP thrown an error 'Up to yield 19, opn/0040 predecessor confirmed'. They just want to have a warning and continue enter 20 at opn 0040 and next successive opns. But I am afraid they can enter anything if they if we simply check that in OPK4 as warning message issued. Do we have any other solution other than changing in OPK4?
Another thing is how can they confirm 20 in operation 0030 and 40 in opn 0040, and some other number in opn 0050 though the target quantity is 500 which is being  confirmed at the last operation?
    I appreciate 4 your valuable suggestions ..
    Thanks
    Sree...

    Hi Vivek,
Thanks for your reply  and Sorry for my late response..i Iwill explain the actuual business scenario :
We have total qty is 200 confirmation is done  in 4 group 50 each.
For example we have Op10/confirmation optional,Op20/confirmation optional,Op30/confirmation optional and Op40/ milesstoine confirmation..All the Opns are confirmed through milestone atg last operation except in case there is scrap qty is present that particular opn is manually confirmed. For first group of 50, we have 49 yield + 1 scrap at Op20 which is maually confirmed. similarly it requires manual confirmation for all the groups weather are not scrap present for remaining groups. Business does not follow any Opn sequence like they may confirm group 1 at Op20 and froup 2 at Op40 and so on..there may be different quiantities confirmed at different steps of routing. For this I configured adherence check to warning but the requirement also include Op10 to be confirmed whenver Op20 is confirmed though none of them is milestone. Also Op20 to b confirmed whenever Op40 uis confirmed in step 2 or 3 or 4 though it was manually confimred for step 1. I have checked enahancements but none of them seem to satisfy the requirements. I really appreciate your suggestson to solve this one.
    Thanks

  • REM Backflush

    HI GURUS,
I have craeted production version (MOD1)and done product cost collecter ,also complete mfbf (rem -backflush).
    My new requirement is,
i have changes bom item and in rate routing i have changes some opeartios and activity types which assigned to MOD1 prod.version.
Now i want do product cost collecter amd mfbf transition with MOD1 version with new changes, can i do .
    is it possible....

    Dear Manoranjan,
In my understanding even if your product is a standard cost estimated material, whenever there is some change in the
BOM/Routing/Rate routing of this part,as explained our other forum friend use T Code MF30 to a preliminary cost estimate or else
goto KKF6N,after entering the part code, plant, select the production version, click on change mode and the cost calculator ikon and
    then save the data.
This is a must to do activity once after there are some changes in BOM/routing.
    Check and revert.

  • PCUI Pop up Confirmation during save event

    Hi,
I would like to implement a confirmation pop up at tthe time of save. the user may
choose to proceed with the save or cancel save.
I have implemented in the following fashion but apparently it does not refresh the data on the PCUI page.
    1. CHECK_BEFORE_SAVE - Raise Information Message. Set Flag not to save.
    2. SAVE - Check if flag is set not to save, return error code. and do not continue with save.
    3. GET_MESSAGES - Add the messages to rt_applog (Message is configured for navigation)
    4. PROCESS_EVENT - Process for the pop up events 'Yes' and 'No'.
'Yes' event will call the save method after initializing do not save flag. 'No' with exit.
Please recommend correct way to implement a pop-up confirmation during save event.
    Thanks
    Shyam

    Hi,
This pop up is related to the WorkProtect mode,
It will be configured in the portal,
There will be 3 options available
if Workprotect mode is 0--- then navigate automatically
1-- pop up and then navigate
    2- navigate with out saving.
i'm not sure about the values.
WorkProtect mode can be seen in the personalize link and this link is available if eu_role is assigned to the corresponding user.
Please contact portal admin team regarding this.

  • Operation wise confirmation in Production order

    Hello,
I want to make a new order type where operation wise confirmation is possible in Production order scenario Presently the std order type PP01 is used , where the user is doing the confirmation at order header level but now user want to go for operation wise confirmation by using CO11.
I know we can put the confirmation parameters in OPK4 , but not aware exactly where we need to define about the operation wise confirmation.
    Waiting for the reply
    Regards,
    Ravindra

    Dear Ravindra,
The general control key settings are
PP01 - Inhouse manufactured or for the operations which are processed internally
within the shop floor or company.
    PP02 - Externally processed operations.
    PP03 - Auto - GR,where in no need to carry out MB31.
For each control key,you can also set whether confirmation is a mandatory or
confirmation is possibel but not required.Check in OPJ8.You can get a better
    understanding.

  • Missing parts in REM backflush

    Hi Gurus....
While doing a REM backflush using MFBF, a problem occurs such that a few of the component materials which are part of a BOM header material are missing. Ideally any material which is a bulk material will not appear in that list. In this case the material is not a bulk material also. While posting the document as well as while reversing the document, the missing materials never appear in that list. Please advice on the same.

    Dear alapati naveen,
    Please clear thse doubts,
    1. Are you using a REM profile with reprocessing allowed?
2.If so means while doing assembly backflush, the system posts document for GR(131 movement for the
header material) and GI (261 movement for the BOM component's) for the material which has sufficient
stock to fulfill the requirement and the materials(component's) where there's a deficit of stock in that
storage location or plant goes to MF47(Reprocessing List).
3.In MB03 you can see the list of materials for which full posting has been made sucessfully,it might be
    either GR or GI.
4.So you are saying partial GI has happened and so check in MF47 whether that one material other
than the bulk material lies here or not.
    Check & revert back.
