Looking for Your Positive Responce
Thanks

Hello and Welcome to the Community!
We are so sorry that you are having so many difficulties. While many experience the same (a search here will reveal that fact), there are also many who have very positive experiences with their BB. Not every device is suitable for everyone -- which IMHO is why there are so many choices.
In regards to your hope that BlackBerry will see and respond to your message -- these forums are a user-to-user support channel, not a user-to/from-BlackBerry formal conduit. As such, it is unlikely that they will see what you have written. However, if you have specific and constructive ideas for them, I have heard that they accept such via email to [email protected].
Front line support (including warranty) for BB's is, by contract, not provided by BlackBerry. The carriers and authorized resellers are responsible for ALL front line formal support to their end users, and have the ability (indeed, responsibility!) to escalate cases into BlackBerry that they cannot solve (at no fee to the end user). It is possible to bypass your carrier and seek assistance direct from BlackBerry, but such involves fees since you are bypassing your support contract with your carrier. You can research "Incident Support" here:
http://us.blackberry.com/support/programs/technical/incident.jsp
If you desire to ask other kind volunteers for specific assistance about how to get the most use out of your BB, then this forum would indeed be the correct place for that.
Good luck!

  • Complaint Letter to BlackBerry due to the very rude service I have received in your service center in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

To BlackBerry Malaysia, BlackBerry International and Brightstar Corp,
On the 17th of October 2013 (2:44:27 PM), I’ve sent in my BlackBerry 9810 for service of the track pad with the work order (WO621039) and serial number ([removed]) at your BlackBerry Expert Center by IXSUN Sdn Bhd (Lot L2-19A, Level 2, Tropicana City Mall, No.3, Jalan SS20/27, 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia).
At the same time I have ordered 2 pieces of F-S1 battery pack as there wasn’t any ready stock for me to replace another 2 of my BlackBerry 9810 as I am having 4 BlackBerry 9810 within the family member. Back on the 17th of October, I was told that the stock will be arriving by the time my phone is ready to collect. On the date of November 3, 2013 approximately 9:05 PM I came to the service center to collect my phone as I was told that it is ready to be collect. After getting my phone back, I was told that the battery pack is still out of stock by their service personal with the name of ANG CHUN SIANG.
I told him that his colleague assured me that the stock will be arriving by the time my phone is ready to be collect, so how long more do I need to wait for the battery pack to arrive. He then told me that the F-S1 battery pack has run out of stock in Malaysia. I then ask him whether the Blackberry Malaysia distributor of Brightstar Corp bringing in from overseas will. He firmly told me by rising up his voice telling me that IT IS OUT OF STOCK WORLDWIDE, maybe BlackBerry has discontinued this product as it is for an older model phone.
I say: “My phone is still functioning well, just that the battery is out of order as it doesn’t last at all, I will run out of battery every 2-3 hours after per fully charge, or it will suddenly blackout saying that battery is out where the indicators show that I still have half of the battery. If BlackBerry discontinued the product what should I do with my phone, does it mean I need to change a brand new phone?”
He replied: “If you want to change your phone, then change all your BlackBerry phone away.” (In a very rude manner and loud volume).
Although all 4 of my BlackBerry 9810 are still under warranty, I understand that the battery lifespan is not covered under the warranty. Me as a user, ordered 2 new battery pack to replace the existing battery. I am willing to pay RM168 each for the new battery. I am not asking for a replacement or wanting to claim under the warranty for the battery.  But because of BlackBerry and Brighstar Corp failed to provide the battery packfor me, I am told by your BlackBerry Expert Center staff to change away my entire BlackBerry phones that I am having. Bare in mind that my family member are users of 8 BlackBerry phone which includes BlackBerry with 4 BlackBerry Torch 9810, 1 BlackBerry Bold 9780, 1 BlackBerry Bold 9900 and 1 BlackBerry Z10.
I felt very offended and insulted that after supporting BlackBerry product for so many years, for the first time I have the feeling of looking into other brand of smartphones. Because of the existing battery pack are out of order, I had told to change all my useable phone to brand new smartphones away when I can continue using my phone without facing any issue by just changing the battery pack. By spending a merely RM168 each for the new battery pack then I can continue enjoy using my BlackBerry 9810 smartphones, but unfortunately I was told to spend thousands of money to buy a brand new smartphones. I am very disappointed at the service provided by your authorized BlackBerry Expert Center, as a loyal Blackberry supporter, I guess I know why the sales of BlackBerry has been dropping because their own dealer are chasing their customer away.
I strongly urge the BlackBerry Malaysia, BlackBerry International and Brightstar Corp look serious into this manner and pay high attention in this issue. Prompt investigation are highly appreciated. You can reach me anytime at [personal information removed]. I am looking forward for reply from any parties that are related and involved directly or indirectly.
    Regards,
    Nigel

    Hem(personal info removed)
hi, my name is hem(personal info removed) from ahmedabad.
i m feeling like a fool after buying a blackberry curve 9220 white handheld from snapdeal. i received the phone in the last week of april'13 and on 31st may'13 my phone got dead. i submitted to the service centre in ahmedabad @ mithakali on 3rd june'13(WORK ORDER NO. - (personal info removed)223). i have been told that it needs to be sent to bangalore and will be back in aroung 15-20 days. still i have not received my phone. no one from blackberry is responding to me. from service centre ms. shweta told me that it will take one week - the same reply since last two weeks. mr. chintan has cooperated well on the no.((prsonal info removed)70). mr. chintan said that this service centre does not belongs to him so he has given me one more contact no. of mr. pravin - (personal info removed).
i m trying to get connect to this no. since last two days. this no. is either busy or not getting replied. i tried this no. in last two days for more than 50 times atleast. today mr. chintan has given me one more no. of mr. prashant ((personal info removed)13). he asked me for the WO no. and told me that some one will get back to me. i got a call from mithakali service centre and same reply - one more week. now mr. prashant is also not replying my phone. i m really not understanding a phone like blackberry which i hardly used for 4 weeks is lying with service centre since almost last four weeks. now in no way this phone is acceptable to me. now this long message is my last hope. i hope to recieve at least a reply as this is the longest message i have ever drafted in my life and that too for a bloody phone like blackberry. black service and black associates.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
As a user-to-user community, no one here can answer your question with any level of authority whatsoever. BlackBerry provides zero front line support to end users, including warranty...all support starts with the carriers, authorized resellers, and authorized service centers, all who can escalate cases into BlackBerry at no charge to the end user.
So, your escalation path is not here, in these forums. Rather, it is through your service center and/or place of purchase...even if they may have so far been unhelpful. You have no free path by which to bypass them, and should be escalating to their management levels.
There is something called incident support, but it costs to just ask the initial question, since you are bypassing the contract you signed upon purchase. If you wish to investigate that, you can review it here:

There also might be some good reading here:

  • Pathetic Service from BlackBerry

    Hello
This is a complain for the pathetic service from your service centre in Lucknow India
I purchased a Z30 few months back, some days later I started facing speaker and led issues the upper speaker was not working then I visited your service centre here, they said that they'll have to send it to your Bangalore head office and it will not take more than 25 days to solve my problem.
After 25 days I called your service centre and they said it's still in the head office and will take 1 week and they are replacing my phone with new after a week they again asked for a week and this is what I hear every time I call them and they are still not sure when they are going to give it back.
I submitted it on 9th January it's been over 50 days now still I haven't got it back and I'm facing many problems because of it.
I am a BlackBerry fan since a log time and I own 2 more BlackBerry smartphones but I never expected this from you guys and now I am really disappointed, your fan base is already getting weak day by day and this way you ll lose your left valuable fan base.
I was planning for a passport but now I think I should better go for iphone 6 because I am really disappointed and if I didn't get my smartphone soon m gonna say bye to all my BlackBerrys forever and will never recommend it to anyone.

  • Most Pathetic Service Experience - Sony

Dear Sir,Greetings for the Day !!!! I wish to highlight few point regarding the poor service standards of Sony India that I have experienced in past few days after purchasing a Sony Z1 handset – refer to the attached bill. The facts are as mentioned below: I bought a Sony Z1 handset from Reliance Store on 23rd June 2015, the set was brand new and working well.Just after one week I started facing the problem of voice getting echoed whenever I speak to anyone.I raised the issue on your Facebook page and a solution was offered to me online. I tried the solution still the problem was persisting.I visited your authorized Service Centre “ SAI Service Centre” at Faridabad – one of the most pathetic and horrible service experience I had in my life till date.Refer to the job sheet to witness the quality of your service center and its employees – How come my mobile which is purchased in June 2015 can be out of warranty????My handset which was brand new with zero scratches – how come they have written scratched. Later when I insisted I will not sign this job sheet then they have manually written – phone is in good condition – refer to the attached job sheet. When I asked how many days it will take to repair – they told me that they can’t comment on the same. It can take days or even months. No estimated date has been mentioned on the Job sheet as well.No stand by handset was provided despite of the fact I requested for the same.Till date no stand by handset has been given.Even today when I have called up the service center to find out by when I can expect my mobile back – they still have no confirmation.Apart from the technical facts mentioned above it goes without saying the staff is ill-mannered – don’t know how to speak to a customer. Do not know their own processes and threatening to the customer. Your webpage says – “Everything we do, is to move you emotionally” - Is this the way to move a customer emotionally. I work for Reliance Retail and we sell your products from our stores – this transaction has really put me in dilemma can I really trust a brand like SONY????? I expect a reply on this mail with resolution of my complaint to my satisfaction. I hope I will hear from you………………………………………….. Thanks & Regards,Bhupendra Rana

I'm sorry to hear that but this is a user based forum, you have to contact your local Xperia Care http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/contactUs/

  • Very bad service center in noida

I have purchased nokia C-5, IMEI No.******************, on 12/9/2010 since then the hand set is giving trouble  and it was sent to nokia service center at Micronas  Telecom c-4,sec-2,Noida, on dated 24/09/2010, job sheet no.153433527/100924/124.  As per this job sheet the service center has mentioned that application has crashed and it will be serviced. After servicing I was handover handset on 4/10/2010 and found that back panel of the phone gradually become loose while using which caused program not running properly and handset frequently hanging.
Due to this I am wasting lot of time to visit the above service centre which has no result. I will be very grateful if my hand set either changed or repair properly as it is useless for me to use in this condition.  You are requested to resolve the above problem at the earliest.
This is in case reference number is 1-11189273826 and reference to your email dated 16.10.2010, wherein it has been intimated that the phone in question has been tempered.  In this context I have already mentioned in my earlier mail that  after receiving the hand set from service centre, it was  giving problem like back panel of the phone gradually become loose while using which caused program not running properly and handset frequently hanging for which the hand set had been delivered 8.10.2010 at MICRONAS Telecom  service centre. The job sheet No. 153433527/101008/131  dated 08/10/2010 indicates that  handset   display is blank, battery overheating, however  the hand set was in working condition.
It is once again requested to look into the matter and resolve the problem immediately as the handset was lying at the above service centre from 24.9.2010 to 4.10.2010 and it is still lying again at the above service from 8.10.2010 to never tempered by me and in-between 4.10.2010 to 8.10.2010 I was continuously speaking with your engineer Mr. Ved and Sumit  during 5.10.2010 to 6.10.2010 of above service centre.  On their suggestions I had delivered the above hand set as they have promised me that it is a minor problem and it will be  get it done immediately.  Being a NOKIA hand user for the last six years, I feel very dishearten  for such allegation for tempering the mobile handset.

  • Pathetic service, Bought on 17th May 2014 and within 13 days have so many problems but no resolution

I have bought Xperia Z2 on 17th May 2014 and have to visit service center situated in sector 18 Noida (Ambe electronics) on 26th May 2014 as my phone was getting heated up and restarting automatically, battery was draining and camera was not working, at the service center I was told that its just a matter of software update and it took 5 hrs to get things done at the service center, and the engg. at service center mentioned if the problem persists the phone would be put for replacement, on 31st May 2014 again I had to visit service center as same problem persisted and even internet stopped working. On receipt of my phone at service center they said we will keep it and update you the status on Tuesday we will call you to tell the problem. My question is if they mentioned it has to be replaced then same should be done rather that they again checking it for 2 days and confirming me the same.Worst part is service center doesn't have a manager whom we can talk to to get things fastened up and the staff at the service center is pathetic they don't know how to deal with customers. Biggest challenge is I have invested nearly 50K on the phone but within 13 days of purchase I have already made 2 visits to the service center and still don't know about my phone's status. Need Sony India to look into it and get the matter resolved on priority, we are buying Sony because of the brand and quality and not to make our own life miserable.

  • Can't send text messages (can only recieve). How do I change Service Center Number

Hello. As my subject states, i can't seem to send text messages (but i can receive them). I'm told by my carrier that i need to change my service center number (and they provided it). I've been looking all over the phone for this option, and can't seem to find it. I keep seeing posts saying "On your device: Options > SMS > Service Center." but "service center" does not appear when i go to options>SMS text. I see the following; screen options conversation style: show names: message options priority: callback number: disable autotext: so my question is;, where do i find this?

  • 8350i: Invalid Service Center when sending SMS

Some time back I followed older posts about enabling the 8350i to copose SMS texts.  Prior to that, menu options seemed to allow only MMS and not SMS.  Those posts basically involved going into Options->SMS Text and changing the Data Coding to UCS2 and the Service Center to +Personal info removed (originally blank) followed by a battery pull.  It all seemed to work find afterwards, that is SMS was then a menu option and sending/receiving SMS was working.
Many weeks have passed and now all of a sudden, I get an "Invalid Service Center" when I try to send an SMS.  I can receive just fine but just can't send.  I have attempted resetting the Data Coding and Service Center with no luck.  Whenever I change the Service Center, it merely reverts back to +1personal info removed.  I've tryied a Master Radio Reset with no luck as well.
Any help on what to do is appreciated.

    Hey avni0302,
Sorry for the delay in response. Can you please tell me what version of device software you are running on your BlackBerry? Also are you still using the BlackBerry 9300?
Once I have this information I can do some testing.

  • Service center problems

    Hello guys,
I have a blackberry since march of this year, I bought it in a trip to LA and I have a lot of problems since the first day. Basically with the charging (only 77%) and the adjust of some basic screen issues. I have rebooted the software and I didn't have problems for the downloading and the installing. But the problem continuing, I can’t charge the battery above 77% and I can’t adjust the screen Brightness.
Now I am living in Slovakia, where I think there is not any service center. I have spent two months with an incident open and in the US service center said me that my playbook could have a reparation in Spain, but I made a call to Spain phone number and the lady could not help me, I spent some days in phone calls. I also tried to reopen the service request but nothing happened. I received a notification saying me that the email could not be delivered, maybe the incidence was closed, but I can’t open a new one using the website.
    What can I do?
Thanks a lot for your recommendations.
    Frank

I would try this... While the Playbook is connected and charging via a known good wall outlet charger, I would touch the battery icon > Restart.
You might try that a few times in succession to see if your charger will move past 77%.
If not, then probably wiping and reloading the OS or using the debrick procedure to install the PlayBook OS fresh and new, might work. If you need help with either, please post back.

  • Service center not return my phone.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
To set your expectation about participation in this forum, please see this "sticky" post, along with the threads to which it links, for helpful information to guide you as you proceed:http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Social-Lounge/How-This-Site-and-Formal-Support-Work/td-p/2540549Hopefully, this information will be of use to you. We are volunteers, not BB employees...sometimes BB folks post here, but it's rare...maybe you will get lucky. But you really need to escalate with your Service Center, to their management and above. Your contractual and financial relationship is between you and them, not between you and BB.
    Cheers, and Good Luck!

    Dear Sir/ Madam,
Subject:  Phone is misplaced by SG InfoTech
I had given my recently purchased Blackberry Mobile for repair to Blackberry Service Center- SG Infotech Borivali West branch on 31/12/2014 (Work Order No: {REMOVED} & Case ID: {REMOVED}) for repair work under warrenty, I was told that I will get my Handset back by 7 working days. Now it has been more than 7 months I have not received my Handset back.
The telephone no provided on the receipt is of no use, no one picks up the call ever. So I have to go to the service centre again & again. I had visited the service center many times & every time I get the same answer that it will take some time, the phone is still with the company.
My last visit to the service center was on 16/07/15 where I met the center in charge Mr. Mahesh Swami. This time I was told that they cannot find my phone it is misplaced & the attitude of Mr. Mahesh was very bad & unprofessional.
Now I am helpless, please let me know how I can get my phone back. I did a very big mistake by buying a Blackberry phone.
    Thanks

  • Bb z3 in high level service center

many issues with my bb z3 like disconnecting wifi itself, Wi-Fi direct not working, blootuth tethering, deleting contects automatically. I sent my mobile to RIM ( a higher level service center ) to Bangalore. One month passed but i have no info regarding the phone...i worrying. Please friends help me if someone have any idea when they will return my phone.

    Hi anuj1,
Your best bet is to continue to follow up and visit the service center where you dropped off your device. As they may not necessarily be run by BlackBerry, but may be an affiliate of BlackBerry, they will know the current state of your device and be able to provide you with updates.
If they have provided you with a ticket number or contact information, follow up with them to get more information. Otherwise, I would recommend visiting them in person.
Best of luck with your device. Perhaps the issues you're experiencing with your BlackBerry Z3 are still being worked on, or have already been fixed by the service center!

  • My 9220 restarts and switch off itself and service center can't fix it.

I'm in need of help. My BB frequently turns off by itself, even if there are no applications running. I tried to restart it by pressing the power button, but that never worked. I had to hard restart it by taking off the battery and then putting it back on again. I need to do this around 2 or 3 times (only once if i'm lucky) to get it to turn back on. The frustrating part is when it shuts itself down again only a couple minutes after I had managed to turn it on again.
I took it to service center and there they collected it but since last 1.5 Months i am trying to get my phone but they say that we didn't fixed it.
    Please help me.

Without the device in your hands, it's rather useless to have advice since you cannot carry it out. But, since you desire it, here are some things you can try. I do not know which, if any, will work for your situation.
I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:
KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in Safe Mode
It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, see what happens.
If the behavior ceases, then think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.
But if the behavior continues in Safe Mode, then you may need to consider more drastic actions -- WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload, and the "Bare Bones" OS Reload Process. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup to your PC...please review the Backup link in my auto-sig on this post for instructions.
You may also need the use of these tricks:

KB27956 How to recover a BlackBerry smartphone from any state

On the chance that your battery may be causal, please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.
Good luck and let us know!
